Meta announced a new virtual headset, the Meta Quest 3s, is a less expensive and slightly less capable version of the existing Meta Quest 3. At $299 and $399 the 3s for 128 and 256 gb storage, the 3s has the same processor as the 3, and can run all of the same software. New AI functions will enhance both Meta Quest headsets as well as the Ray-Ban smart glasses, but that is coming “at a later date”. He also showed off project ORION, a set of holographic augmented reality glasses.
