This episode is based on news coverage of a rescue operation started by a young hiker in the Neelum Valley district of Pakistan administered Jammu and Kashmir.
The episode is based on a report by a virtual panel of environmentalists and social activists. The environmentalists call to protect the natural resources of Muzaffarabad. A statement issued at the end of the virtual panel discussion on Sunday 19 June, said that the process of diverting rivers for power generation projects has significantly increased the environmental issues in the region of Azad Kashmir.

The episode is based on a book review written by Dr. Sarwat Rizvi. The book titled "beetay huay kuch din aisy hain" was written in Urdu by Nusrat Nasim. I have just narrated this beautiful piece of writing here.
