It was the mid to late 90's, the place was Sydney.
A new music genre was on the rise in the Sydney Club Scene... Hi Nrg.
This emerging sound was a Progressive Style of EDM, built on a fusion of Trance, Hard House, Euro House and Progressive House, and it was dominating the City clubs, and at times the radiowaves as well.
The clubbers of the day were basically split into two groups on the dancefloor...
*The Anthem Lovers - Those who lived for the tracks they knew and loved, the sounds they heard on radioplay and on popular compilation cds, and the floors were always filled when the DJ dropped an anthem as he was guaranteed to get those booty's shaking.
*The Minority - The hungry few that couldn't wait to hear fresh releases the DJ had just sourced the week prior, those souls that NEEDED to experience new sounds weekly, and these same people are the ones that kept these non conforming DJs searching and playing those tracks that set them apart for the rest.
This mix is for the MINORITY.
