Matt is a husband, father, and friend. He's also a speaker, coach, pastor, leader, and teacher. He has been involved in leadership and pastoral ministry for three decades and trying to figure out what it means to be a human being for a bit longer.

Matt is a husband, father, and friend. He's also a speaker, coach, pastor, leader, and teacher. He has been involved in leadership and pastoral ministry for three decades and trying to figure out what it means to be a human being for a bit longer.
He is the Founder and Principal of THRIVE – a speaking, teaching, and coaching initiative that focuses on engaging men and women to be fully alive to the glory of God in every arena of their life, journey, and culture. Some of the seeds of the vision for THRIVE were planted years ago when Matt studied at L’Abri in Huémoz, Switzerland with Francis Schaeffer, who introduced him to the writings of the late Hans Rookmaaker, an art historian known for proclaiming, “Jesus didn’t come to make us Christian; Jesus came to make us fully human.”

Pastor Doug Anderson is profoundly influenced by his early years as an “MK” (missionary kid) in Haiti. Having a passion for discipleship, Doug developed Walking with Jesus, a daily devotional that reflects on a portion of God’s Word. Walking with Jesus is available in both print and audio and has reached over 1,200 cities in 71 countries, including regions closed to the Gospel and Christian missionaries! Pastor Doug and Dawn currently live in Leesburg, Florida. Their only child, April, met and married her husband at Moody Bible Institute.

This is from a series called RESTORE...A Journey with Jesus in Troubled Times by Pastor Doug Anderson.
Pastor Doug Anderson is profoundly influenced by his early years as an “MK” (missionary kid) in Haiti. Shortly after college, Doug and his wife, Dawn, sensed God’s call to return to the mission field to plant a church in Haiti. It was during this time that Doug also served as administrator of UFM Medical Ministries and as an MK educator! Following his time in Haiti, Pastor Doug served as senior pastor of three different Evangelical Free Churches in New Jersey, North Dakota, and Wisconsin. More recently, TEAM, a global missions organization, asked Doug to join their ministry as pastor to their global missionary force. Currently, Pastor Doug serves as the interim senior pastor at a church in Florida! They now serve as third-generation missionaries with their five girls in Dakar, Senegal, West Africa.

They now serve as third-generation missionaries with their five girls in Dakar, Senegal, West Africa.
