Every woman deserves to find a strength that transcends the ordinary. This type of strength cannot be gained by lifting weights. It can’t be blended into a smoothie. It doesn’t come from your daily grind or your spotless home. In a world fixated on the surface-level, it’s time to dig deeper. Being Soul Strong has no age limit, no cultural barrier, no generational gap, and it is not reserved for the women who seem to have it all together. It can be a reality for you, and we want to help you get there! With conversations, interviews and insight from women of all walks of life, we are a community of women intentionally gathering together to spur each other on, live in meaningful relationship and navigate this journey of life together one season at a time. Hosted by Priscilla Mariassouce, Soul Strong is a space for every woman to stop, take a breath, and be nourished in the inside.
Small kindness is never small in the kingdom of God.
In this episode, I get to have a conversation with one of my dearest friends about how simple acts of love can help people feel seen and carry eternal value.

We are finally back! In this episode of the Soul Strong Podcast, we’re talking about the tension of holding two truths at the same time, while learning to recognise the lie that fear tries to sneak in between them.
Waiting can be hard, but God is still faithful. Healing can still sting, but that does not mean you are weak. Anxiety can feel loud, but it does not get to take the microphone.
Through the story of Joseph, we look at what it means to stay faithful in the middle, keep moving in small obedience, and trust that God is still able to turn what was meant for harm into good.
This episode is for anyone navigating a hard season, a waiting season, or a moment where fear has been trying to narrate the story. Two things can be true, but the lie does not get the final word.

In this episode, I get to sit with one of my closest and dearest - Charmaine as she shares her powerful journey of moving to America for a record deal, walking through financial hardship, disappointment, and the painful realities of trying to make it in the music world. But through every difficult season, God was preparing her for something deeper.
What once looked like detours became part of her calling. Today, Charmy is serving as a worship pastor in a large church and making a significant impact through her leadership, faith, and obedience. This conversation is a beautiful reminder that even the hardest seasons can shape us for the very purpose God has prepared.

What makes a friendship truly safe? In this episode, we unpack what we value in friendships and ask two important questions: Who are we safe with? And who are we safe for?
Looking at the multigenerational friendship of Mary and Elizabeth, we explore what it means to create space for each other’s calling, celebrate one another’s courage, and lovingly challenge without tearing down.
Safe friendships are not built on constant agreement, but on trust, humility, and love that sharpens and strengthens. This is an invitation to build relationships where both people can grow.

Comparison feels harmless. Just a scroll. Just a thought. Just a quiet “I wish.”
But what if the final commandment isn’t last because it’s least… but because it reaches deepest? In this episode, we unpack the often overlooked sin of coveting and why it strikes at the heart before it ever shows up in behaviour. Through Scripture and honest conversation, we explore how envy quietly reshapes our view of God, ourselves, and others. If you’ve ever taken the “scroll test” and felt your contentment slip, this one will help you name it, confront it, and reclaim joy.

Welcome back to the Soul Strong Podcast for our first episode of the year
As we step into 2026, we’re starting with a powerful conversation about labels – the ones given to us, the ones we repeat to ourselves, and the ones God has already spoken over our lives.
In this episode, we unpack The Labelling Theory and explore how words can become self-fulfilling prophecies. Through personal stories and the biblical story of Ruth, we look at how identity shapes direction – and how choosing the right label can change everything.
We’ll reflect on:
• The labels we’ve learned to live under
• How labels can limit or launch us
• Ruth’s journey from widow to legacy
• The difference between what you did and who you are
• The biblical labels God gives His children
If you’ve ever felt behind, not enough, or defined by your past – this episode is for you.
As we begin a new year together, let’s stop living under old labels and start walking in the truth God has already spoken over us.
Subscribe, share with a friend, and tell us:
What label are you letting go of – and which one are you choosing for 2026?

In our final deep dive episode of the year, Priscila opens up about end-of-year burnout, the emotional load of transition, and the very real experience of hitting capacity.
She shares her own story of burnout and how God gently rebuilt her strength — and then teaches through Psalm 23, line by line, revealing the Shepherd who leads, restores, protects, and lavishes goodness on His people.
This episode will help you:
✨ See burnout through a biblical lens
✨ Find rest when you can’t take a holiday
✨ Rebuild your soul before you enter 2026
✨ Remember that God restores, guides, and walks with you through every valley
Let Psalm 23 strengthen the parts of you that feel weary.

In Part 2 of our forgiveness conversation, we explore the deeper layers of what it really means to forgive — not just others, but places, seasons, systems, and even ourselves. Forgiveness isn’t forgetting or pretending it didn’t hurt. It’s courage. It’s healing. It’s taking your life back with God leading the way.
We walk through Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s four-step process of forgiveness — telling the story, naming the hurt, granting forgiveness, and renewing or releasing — and unpack why true closure doesn’t come from the other person, but from releasing the burden into God’s hands.
We also talk about self-forgiveness, often the hardest of all. God’s forgiveness includes you — fully and finally. When He sends you away in peace, He sends your shame away too.
This episode is for the woman holding onto something heavy, longing to breathe again.
May this conversation help you take one small, brave step toward peace.
“Choosing curiosity and connection rather than walking away or shutting down… is choosing courage.” — Brené Brown
Note: In this episode, Pris mentions Daring Greatly, but the Brené Brown book she’s actually reading (and referring to) is Rising Strong. Both are powerful — but Rising Strong is the one connected to today’s themes.

Ever notice how easy it is to slip into complaining—even after God has done something amazing? In this episode, I unpack the Israelites’ story through Exodus and how their murmuring mirrors moments in our own lives. From camping in complaint to craving what God already freed us from, we’ll explore how to stop looking back and start trusting forward.
You’ll walk away with three truths to anchor your faith in hard seasons:
- God’s provision is always enough.
- His protection is still covering you.
- His purpose is still unfolding.
Don’t go back to Egypt—God’s leading you somewhere better.

When life presses in from every side — confusion, setbacks, silence, or criticism — how do we keep standing? In this episode, Pris and Kristy unpack 2 Corinthians 4:7–9: “We are pressed but not crushed, perplexed but not in despair, persecuted but not abandoned, struck down but not destroyed.”
We talk about what it really means to live with resilient faith — one that bends but doesn’t break. Through laughter, honest stories, and a few too-relatable moments (like toddlers waking at 3 AM and coffee spilled on laptops), this episode reminds us that the struggles on the outside can’t overcome the strength on the inside.

Have you ever prayed for God to make your next step clear… only to feel like you’re still waiting?
In this solo episode of the Soul Strong Podcast, I take you deep into Joshua 17 — a passage that rocked my world back in 2019 and still speaks powerfully today. The tribes of Joseph were given land, but instead of stepping into it, they saw obstacles: iron chariots, forests to clear, and enemies in their way. Joshua’s response? Go up, clear the land, and its farthest limits will be yours.
I’ll share how this verse reshaped my own journey, why waiting for “perfect conditions” is holding you back, and what it looks like to take your God-given land — even when it’s messy, hard, and full of challenges. We’ll also talk about:
If you’re ready to swap fear for faith and action, this episode will give you the nudge you’ve been waiting for.

You’ll hear biblical insight, real-life examples, and stories of incredible women—past and present—who lived these truths out in breathtaking ways. This isn’t just about waiting for God to move. It’s about learning how to live faithfully while we wait.
