On today’s episode we talk to David Jaquess. David served as the executive director for New Life Ranch from 1998 to 2014. He is the third in the long line of four executive directors over the Ranch’s history.
On this episode of MCP, we’ll be talking to Randy and Lynna Blackwell about their time here in the 80’s and 90’s. We’ll hear about what it was like for Randy taking over as executive director after Reverend Heck and how he saw camp change and grow over his tenure. We also heard from Lynna about her impressive resume of jobs she held while at camp. She cooked food, balanced the books, and managed medical emergencies, all while answering the party line.
In this episode of MCP, we talk to perhaps the most recognizable face of New Life Ranch over the past 60 years, Mr. Bill Biggs. We talk about what New Life Ranch was like back in the early days, his myriad roles he has served in over the last 60 years, and his shocking science experiments during chapel.
