Conversation: A Political Podcast is a podcast run by a group of high school students. The podcast focuses on politics, news, and current events in the United States from the perspective of young people, a perspective not often seen in the media. Each podcast is done on one take, on the first try, with no scripted elements. This way, each podcast is a unique conversation, hence "Conversation."
The cast talks about recent comments made by GOP candidates Carly Fiorina and Ben Carson and their validity. This week's cast features Matt, Sean, James, and Joe.
The cast is back with their thoughts and reactions from the second GOP Debate. Discussion centered around big names like Trump, Carson, Fiorina, and Rubio, as well as a review on the rest of the candidates. Matt, Sean, Joe, and new member Gina feature in this week's cast.
In the second RANT, Sean gives his opinion on health insurance and Obamacare from the perspective of a high school student.
The cast is back in Episode Five with a new candidate spotlight on GOP candidate Ted Cruz. After discussing Cruz in-depth, the group turns to the recent events involving Kentucky County Clerk Kim Davis and freedom of religion. This week's cast features Matt, Sean, Zack, and Joe.
Matt from the Conversation: A Political Podcast cast is here with a new series called RANTS. Each RANT will be a 10-minute segment from one cast member discussing a specific issue or concern. The first in the series discusses the division in America and the media's role in it.
In light of the shootings in Virginia and Charleston, the cast discusses gun control and mental health in Episode Four. The conversation also branches out to discuss violence and divisionin the United States. Episode Four's cast features Matt, Sean, Will, Joe, and newcomer Zack.
