Crowd with Us was founded in 2014 by three co-founders - Rob Wilkinson, Rob Pasternak and Thor Portess. They combined their experience of over two decades in property, management and the tech industry to build a crowdfunding platform that could remove the financial barrier of entry to property investment.

Consisting of experienced financiers from top tier financial institutions and leading lenders, the team at CWU focus on funding other developer’s deals.

A New Zealand Chartered Accountant and Project Manager, she has vast experience in Financial Services. Michelle spent a large proportion of her career working on massive financial transformation programmes before building a buy-to-let property portfolio.

More recently Michelle’s focus has shifted to investing, with a particular interest in SSAS - small, self administered scheme. As an advocate of crowdfunding she began investing personally before exploring the possibilities available with SSAS.

Growing up in Sweden when serving in the military was mandatory, Fredrik joined the special forces and worked his way up the ranks, ultimately becoming responsible for over 250 officers. Alongside his military career, Fredrik managed to grow and balance a property company, consulting company, to study and still make time for his family.
Involved in a number of businesses and dominating the property industry Fredrik is now taking on the publishing world.
