This platform is designed to explore the treatment within our healthcare systems. Aside from access and affordability, what is the quality of care that we receive overall? There can be a reciprocal decline in quality when persons of African decent or other minority groups encounter the healthcare system. Unfortunately we can all be at risk to be on the receiving end of negligent errors or sentinel events. It is my hope that this dialogue will lead to improvements in self advocacy and authentic self reflections both as individual providers and caretakers and as an entity.
