The son of man is a title given to the Messiah, our Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ (Matthew 8:20). He is the Word that became flesh and dwelt with us (John 1:14 and Matthew 1:23). He is also the son of David, the root of Jesse (Matthew 22:42, Matthew 9:27, Matthew 21:9 and Isaiah 11:1).
