Here is an update on Brody's progress after his latest surgery! Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin are the reason this will be our best Christmas gift. They have continually saved my little boys life and they will always Brody's real life superheroes...from the surgeons, the nurses, oncologists- everyone we have encountered at Childrens have been an important part of this journey! Thank you Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin!

These surveys really grind my gears! This one claims that being a Mom is equivalent to two full time jobs. Here is the thing. Being a Mom makes you busy...just as busy as people who don't have kids! A lot of people disagree with my take on this...listen at your own risk ;)

It was a big weekend at the Schurk household. Brody broke the 42" barrier and can now go down the Kaukauna Pool water slide all by himself! It's fun watching all the newfound independence.
But with great independence comes great responsibility. We're working a chore chart hard for Brody to 'earn' a trip to Disney World. He doesn't know that it's happening in less than a month. We want to impress that opportunities like that don't grow on trees.
