Finding a new community isn't easy.

In this episode, I invited my friend Stefan Wilkinson, a purple belt BJJ athlete who has traveled many places to find new dojos and meet new fellow Jiu Jiteiro.

We've tackled the issue of the toxic dojo; why you shouldn't worry about stepping into the new dojo and expand your Judo/BJJ community while you are traveling!

Our most exciting take on here is to pack your gi in luggage and see where it takes you!

As always, we want to start a conversation with you.

Tell us all about why you love your dojo and appreciate your coach! Let's tag them here as well.:)

Who wouldn't like a story about training Jiu-Jitsu while traveling in an iconic Volkswagen van?

In this episode, we invited Heather Raftery to talk about how she quit her 9-5 job to pursue training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu while traveling.

Heather is a black belt in BJJ, training at Atos Jiu-Jitsu, and she is an original Jiu-Jitsu gypsy.

It was a delightful conversation with her, so I hope you guys enjoy it as well.

Two weeks ago, I invited Stuart Ramos, the finance expert and dojo owner of Team Maryland BJJ and Jason Morris Club in Maryland, to speak on Covid 19's impact upon the running of his dojo.

We spoke of the impact Covid-19 has had on dojo owners in general and how they could continue operating despite the difficulty resulting from the new restrictions imposed by the virus.

It was an enlightening conversation. I hope you guys enjoy it; I surely did.
