Week 7 Next – This week, participate with the Holy Spirit by preparing now* for what is next.Consider the words of the Ethiopian Eunich. What can “stand in the way” of following the next step of obedience God is showing you? Is there something to repent? Is there a decision you need to make? Is there an action you know you should take?Read Isaiah 53 –Would you be able to explain how it talks about Jesus and share the Gospel with someone you met this week? Practice out loud by yourself or with someone.God uses the moments and means we see as ordinary to do the extraordinary. Prayerfully consider the city God’s Providence has placed you and the “roads” and “chariots” he might be directing you toward. Write those down and pray over them daily this week.Week 6 Next – This week, ask the Holy Spirit to help you join God’s movement by serving, speaking, and standing.Serve:* We’re launching a new list of serving opportunities at GracePoint. Prayerfully look through the available ministries and ask:*“Where is God inviting me to serve?”Don’t wait for an extraordinary assignment. Begin by being faithful in the ordinary. Choose one opportunity and take a step toward.Speak:Spend some time this week watching The Bible Project’s overview videos or reading through the story of Scripture. As you do, ask:How is God moving throughout the Bible? How does every part of the story point to Jesus?Who in my life needs to hear this story? Then challenge yourself to be ready to share with someone how God has been moving throughout history, and how He has been at work in your own story.Stand:* Identify one place in your life where the Lord is calling you to stand faithfully.*Maybe it’s remaining faithful in a difficult relationship, maintaining integrity* at work, persevering through illness, extending forgiveness, or boldly living out your faith when it’s unpopular.*Ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen you to remain faithful, trusting that the God* who stood with Stephen is with you today.*Week 4 Next –* Jesus uses good done in his name to save people by his name.*1. Prayerfully consider:* Where in your life do you currently have a posture or practice of kindness in the name of Jesus? What is the “good” that you are already doing? How does it bring glory to God or give opportunity to share the good news of new life in our Savior?*2. What good work might God be calling you into? Try something this week! (Household tip: this is a great discussion starter that might lead to doing something together)3. Daily prayer:“Sovereign Lord, enable your servant(s) to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”Week 2 Next – Join the MovementThis week, ask yourself 3 questions everyday.* 1. Where is God already moving? Prayer: Holy Spirit, help me notice where You are already at work around me. 2. Who can I tell about Jesus? Challenge: Share one part of your story with one person this week. It could be: Why you follow Jesus. Something God has been teaching you. An invitation to church. The goal is to speak the name of Jesus. 3. What do I need to surrender? Peter ends with: Repent. Repentance is the ongoing posture of every disciple. Each evening ask: Holy Spirit… Is there an attitude, a habit, a relationship, or an area of pride that you are inviting me to surrender? Then confess it immediately.*Week 1 Next –* Ask.*Every morning pray:“Father, thank You for the gift of Your Spirit. Holy Spirit, help me notice where You are moving and give me courage to join You.”Then ask at night:1. Where did I notice God’s presence today?2. Where might God have been moving around me?3. Did I respond?*The post God is on the Move Resource Page appeared first on GracePoint Community Church.

Week 6 MissionOur 6th mission has two parts. This week you need to:

1. Intentionally plan 3 ways to worship God this week in response to what he has done for you.

2. In conversation this week, either share what Jesus has done or what Jesus has done for you.

Family Twist Each mission comes with a family twist. If you have a family, this week you need to:

1. Sit down as a family and discuss what God has done for you. Then, make a plan to intentionally worship him this week.

2. Challenge each family member to share with someone outside the family one thing that Jesus has done. Be sure to check in and encourage each other!

Mission TipThe gospels are full of things that Jesus has done and said. If you are having a hard time thinking of what he has done in your life, pick a gospel and seek him.

Week 4 MissionOur 4th mission has two parts. This week you need to:

1. Sit for a moment in Psalm 139:23+24. Ask the Lord to identify anything in your life that you need to be purified from, then, repent.

2. At least once in your conversations this week, take the step to mention the name of Jesus. See where that takes you!

Family Twist Each mission comes with a family twist. If you have a family, this week you need to:

1. Read through Psalm 139 as a family. Talk through it and ask about ways each family member has seen God in their life. End your time by praying and asking God to reveal anything in your life that is not honoring to him and needs to change.

2. Challenge each family member to say the name of Jesus in one conversation this week. Be sure to check in and encourage each other!

Mission TipWe often talk about the things that we love. To help say the name of Jesus in a conversation, take a moment and reflect on your relationship with Jesus. What are things you love about it? What questions do you have? These answers might lead to his name coming up in conversation naturally.

Week 3 MissionOur 3rd mission has two parts. This week you need to:

1. Take a moment and consider how God has prepared you for his mission. In what ways do you feel inadequate?

2. Identify someone who might be a good partner or encourager for you in mission. Go have a conversation about it with them.

Family Twist Each mission comes with a family twist. If you have a family, this week you need to:

1. As a family, consider how God has prepared you for his mission. Take a moment to encourage your kids and grandkids with the ways you see God has gifted them for this mission.

2. Parents, identify someone in your life who is a good encourager for yourself and your family into mission. Go have a conversation with them.

Week 2 MissionOur 2nd mission has two parts. This week you need to:

1. Sit down personally, or in the context of home, and make a short list of ways that you live that are different from the culture around you.

2. Brainstorm a few ways you can be a practical blessing to someone in your life this week. Example: Giving flowers, baking cookies for your neighbors, taking a trash bag and picking up trash you are not responsible for, etc.

Family TwistEach mission comes with a family twist. If you have a family, this week you need to:

1. Parents sit down with your kids and make a list together of ways that you live differently from the culture around you. You might want to talk through what it looks like for you to live out your walk with Jesus in your everyday life.

2. Brainstorm as a family a few ways you together, and individually, can be practical blessings to those in your life. Pick one and do it!

Mission TipSometimes being a blessing can be as simple as handwriting a note or remembering a detail from an earlier interaction and following up!

Week 1 MissionOur first mission has two parts. This week you need to:

1. Share with someone how you came to saving faith in Jesus (it can be someone you know!). Alternatively, if you don’t have a saving faith in Jesus, ask someone you know who does to share their story with you.

2. Take time this week to go to a place that has a lot of people. While remembering your salvation story, pray for the salvation of those surrounding you.

Family TwistEach mission comes with a family twist. If you have a family, this week you need to:

1. Parents share with your kids how each of you came to saving faith in Jesus. Alternatively, if you don’t have a saving faith in Jesus, ask someone you know who does to share their story with your family.

2. Take your family to a place that has a lot of people. Keeping in mind your salvation stories, pray together for the salvation of those surrounding you.

Mission TipWhen praying in public, you can still pray out loud with your eyes open!
