We think that a local church is better than one that is far away because God came near us in Jesus. We want to bring the good news of Jesus up-close to our neighbors and community through sacrificial service, generosity, mercy, relationship and vocation. We don't want to attract Christ-followers from other churches because that wouldn't expand the kingdom of God. www.sgvtheway.org

What HE made us for
Defaulted disorder and a manufactory of Idols
Ultimate disordering that Heals
The scriptures for this sermon are Romans 1: 18-24
Big Idea:
The preeminence of God is attached to what we worship. We worship anything we think is the highest good/power/meaning/security/beauty. We can’t help it. We are worshipping beings. Without food, we eat poison. We will disorder our loves/beauties, often trying to get God to go along with our disordering and then get mad at Him when he doesn’t serve/give us the things we have put to displace them. Often good, good, things are used to things we “make” to replace Him at the top. These are essentially idols.
