Alberto has done one documentary on immigration and is working on another. He was born in Mexico and came to the U.S. with his family when he was 5 years old. He graduated from the Art Institute of Dallas with a degree in Video Production, and started his career with KXTX Telemundo in Dallas, Texas, as a news editor.

Joshua Judd is a teacher in Tempe, Arizona. He is a former Marine, and currently is vice chairman of Maricopa City Democrats. We talk to Joshua about public education, charter schools, and how and why Arizona is suffering as one of the lowest performing states in the country when it comes to education. Is Arizona’s move towards the privatization of education working? Can Arizona’s failures serve as a warning to the rest of the country?
