Easter 2020: Hope is on the Horizon. The lament of Good Friday will give way to the thrill of Easter Sunday. Everyone needs hope. Not the wishy washy temporal hope that lasts a few days or weeks, but eternal hope that goes beyond the grave. That's resurrection hope! This Jesus is still giving hope and changing lives.
Why we call this Friday Good: We won't understand the full joy of Easter until we grasp the full horror of Good Friday. It is the day we remember not only the death of Jesus, but also the "why" behind it. It was our sin that caused that Friday and it was God's grace that made it Good.
Pastor Eric concludes his 4-part sermon series from the of Amos reminding us that when the foundations of life have eroded because of sin, there is a Divine Developer who can rebuild what's been broken.
