A work in progress page to update anyone who cares about what work I am doing. Most work is done in Blender 3d and some Gimp is probably used for some small things.
Well I have been working on some other things not yet posted, but here is an update on the itsy bitsy spider...it is evolving into quite the project, now I am just testing the animation rig! (rig is from waylow on blender artist)
This is my final output style for the Iggy and Joe Project. I will be (re)constructing sets
Well it doesn't have a label on it, but it may in the future, I improved the mesh on the lid area and improved the brushed look on the cup body as well as the smoother texture on the lid metal. I also improved the handle mesh a bit.
Possible blob (codename: filbert) for "the button" coming later after the Iggy and Joe story.
All in blender. The Addition model is not exactly to scale, but gives a nice idea for the concept and look.

I would call this a "doodle" took about 1-2hours to make and 4 to render. Blender 2.49 Blender Internal Raytraced. Also note the transparent shadows on the bottom-i think it adds a nice touch almost appears to be caustic not intentional....Maybe someday I will give it a nicer background.
Todo on this one: fix trees in background colors, texture the dog better, add engine streaks in the ground. texture the ground better. fix overall lighting.
He kinda looks a bit...um high on meth? I need to work on the eyes and the fur more, but almost there.
CaveDog aka Joe? well he seems happy enough.
He can get a bit cross at times, but for good reason.
Iggy the caveman, serious as he looks is not the sharpest tool in the shed but he gets the job done I suppose. (It helps that he is the only one on the island that has opposable thumbs)
I am now working on an island with a caveman on it. It shall prove to be an interesting story that my Bro-in-laW will concoct. I am doing the illustrations and have been given the privilege of having all artistic freedom therein. SWEET! well it is hard to come up with some of the stuff but the content seems to be flowing well on this one. You may notice some changes throughout, hence work in progress, stuff I may change on a whim.
