You do not have to be the gardener. God will always achieve his harvest, just trust God. When you are facing a battle, you must be victorious for generations to come. Leave good ripples. Special Guest, Pastor Michael Stone comes to Soulfire from Flint, MI to preach a special message titled "After This".
Scriptures of Focus: 2 Samuel 8:1 NLT, 1 King 18:45 NLT, Psalms 34:19 KJV, Isaiah 43:2 KJV
Message Notes: "We are in the business of saving souls. God will encourage and equip you to do good for others starting with your family and community. It's all about building others. God really gets into you and your life when you dedicate your passion to others. God has a destiny and purpose for us all but the problem is that we get in the way. The detours we take are taking us away from the goals that God set for us. In all your ways acknowledge God and he will direct. Trust God. When we walk with and in the spirit the world becomes afraid of us. The doors are wide open for opportunity. Everyone struggles and is facing something that they need help with. After this. God is telling us. God said write it down. Dont give up. This is not the end, but a temporary inconvenience. When you are in a hallway it is only a moment, a between place. A valley between mountains. It is only a mean while. When you do not trust God he will step back and allow you to make the mistakes. God never told us that we would not have problems but he did say that he would never leave us. The thing about a great church is the love not the entertainment. Are you being connected? Are you listening to the needs of the people? If you cannot build up your home how are you going to build up others? Others are watching you and waiting for the after this. Watching you as you are in your mean while. Build on the family. No matter what you are going through in your pause, there is always an after this. Let God show you when to speak. Listen. Words are powerful and hurt longer than bullets."

Message Notes:
"Trust. God knows what we need, how we need it, and when we need it. Self pity leads to self denial and loathing. God is not just a spectator but an active part in control of our lives. Often times we spend our lives with our heads down instead of looking up to the heavens. Lift up your heads when problems arise. Look up in your times of pain and grief. So not be a pew warmer but trust in God and do your part. You do what you can and God will do what you cannot. Real love is not a passive love. Let God know you love him, let others know that you love them. Gods love is the greatest. There is no substitute."

We are called to be set apart. This life is a stepping stone for your children, a legacy. We pass on not what we profess but what we wear. The things your children see you do is what they will do. Are you praising God through the good times and the bad? You do not get to choose the cards you are dealt but you do choose the cards you play. How you fill a void, your children will do the same. Pray with your kids, pray with your spouse. Above all is else we must guard our heart. God's standards are greater than those of the world. Do not conform. Are you wearing the garments well?"

"Game changer. Put a little God in it. God has given you some great talents. What are you going to do with it? When it shows up you will know. When everything you attempt is failing you have to put God in it. You are never to far gone to put a little God in it. When Jesus shows up on the scene the game is changed. All things are for the good for those that love and obey God. When the world says you cannot God will say yes you can. Stick with it and be joined with and God will be in it with you. God is the game changer and when he is involved all things are changed for the good. When God changes your life there will always be doubters. Do not tell them about the change, show them. There will be evidence of the change. Do not be bitter yet stay faithful and you will prosper. A cord of 3 strands is not easily broken. We all need encouragement at some point. Stand your ground in the fire and watch Jesus show up. Get by with a little help from friends. Teamwork makes the dream work."

If you do not know Jesus as savior then you do not know the whole story. The debt was paid in full. Many do not know the power of the cross but we are here to spread the good news. Jesus died for us. The man who spoke existence gave up it all so we may have eternal life. Everything that the disciples were was based on Jesus. They were lost without their king. Defeat. Despair. Discouragement. Pain last through the night but remember that joy comes in the morning. It's Sunday and Jesus is coming. The key is to not give up amidst darkness, hurt, and despair. We are all sinners but we must keep living for the Lord. Because he lives we can continue. If Jesus would not have rose than neither could we. Jesus appeared to 552 people in 13 locations after he rose again. We serve the only living God."

Message Notes:
"Stay in your lane: Put your heart in it. Take heart. The devil will throw darts. You cannot live your life without lines on the road. It is scary to be in the wrong lane. It is dangerous. You are called to be set apart, you have a different lane. Follow the road that God has chosen for you, not the one that looks more fun and less challenging. Stay on the road and God will grant your happiness. Guardrails hurt but ultimately that prevent catastrophic damage or pain. God has called you. God saved you so that you can share your free gift. You have the cure for sin and eternal life. It take all kinds of people to reach all types of different people. We are the body, we are the church, we all have a part to play. Sometimes we drift from our calling and do what we want to do. Pursue the calling and avoid burning out. When you get out your lane and trying to correct others you cause accidents and messes. Recognize God's signals or warnings. Sometimes it is easier for an outsider to see warning signs that we have been ignoring or avoiding."
-Pastor Nic
In this message Pastor Nic talks about thriving where you arrive and how God has you right where you are for a reason!
Scriptures of focus: 1 Samuel 16:11, 1 Samuel 17:14-15, Genesis 37:23-24, Genesis 37:28, Genesis 39:2-3, Luke 16:10
"Thrive where you arrive: God desires for your life to be great, to thrive, not just survive. God will call us to change. If you wait for the bigger better deal often times you will miss out on God's plan. Singular. God has a plan for you. When this happens then I can be happy. This is not God's plan as you will never be satisfied. There will always be one more achievement until you find your place in Christ. Do not wait and waste your life away. Thrive now in Jesus. Why am I in this situation? Why am I going through this? Why is everyone else's life without blemish? Make the most in the moment you are in right now. If you are faithful with the little things in life God will give you the bigger things. God is preparing you. God will tell you that you are going to do big things, but be patient, be faithful. God is equipping you right now for the future so do not be unwilling and bitter. Be joyful. When life gives you lemons you can sit and sour or rise and shine. When you sit and sour you are only hurting yourself. By holding onto jealousy, regret, and bitterness you are only tearing yourself down. Even at your lowest so your very best. When you brush it off and rise and shine, God will bless you."
-Pastor Nic
Pastor Nic talks in this message about God's Grace winning and how it is always sufficient!
Scriptures of Focus: Gal 5:17, 1 Peter 5:8, John 8:5, John 8:7, 1 Cor 13:1, 1 John 3:1, John 15:13, John 3:16
Message Points:
"Grace wins: How much does God love us? Even though we disobey him on a daily basis, we say we are sorry yet we do it again. Unlimited, unconditional, understanding love. There is never anything you do or too far you have gone away from the Lord that he will not take you back. Our desire is to follow God with all of our heart. We will never achieve perfection so do not chase it. Chase Jesus with all of your heart. He will compel you and draw us to love God. There is a war within us and it is a constant battle. If you walk by the desires of the spirit of God then you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. God will never quit on you so do not give up on yourself. The evil one will never give up on you either so the struggle will always be constant. God is on your side. You must resist the devil and stay strong. Who I am hates who I have been. We don't need someone to point the finger at us when we mess up. We know that we messed up. We need the Church and our friends to love us to tell us that we do not have to live like that. God is the God of forgiveness. Cast love on your neighbors not judgment. How many times would you let someone wrong you before you decided you had enough? How many times do you continue to disobey God but yet he takes you in his arms and forgives you over and over. If you do all these things for others or for the Lord but you do them without love then you have done them for nothing. Without love we are useless. Jesus loves you. The world has enough judgment what it needs is more love."

"Freedom! Abundance! Throw off the sin that is entangling you. Stop letting it control your life and live free. Run. Run away from sin. Love your life and stop being held down by the struggles of this life. There are many Christians walking around as slaves, they are a mess. How much more in life are you capable of doing after you release the guilt and shame? Drop the burdens and leave it to the Lord! When Jesus sets you free from the burden stop picking it back up. A Christian that walks the fence that is half in with Christ and half in with the world is living a miserable life. It may be fun for a night but the guilt will destroy you. Turn to Jesus. We must learn to praise God during the bondage during the storm not just after it is over. God is big and his love is overwhelming. The devil is miserable and he is looking to take you down with him. Step out in faith not in fear. You live in the world but you are not of the world. Fearless freedom. The fires are never done but the difference is that we have a savior that will walk through the fires with us."
-Pastor Nic
Pastor Nic preaches about "Doing all you can" for the kingdom. It's not what you give but how you give!
Scriptures of Focus: Mark 12:41-44, Matt 19:20-24, Psalm 24:1, James 1:17, James 1:27
"Do all you can! If you got Jesus in your life, then you have everything you will ever need. Give and do all you can. You can give out of your wealth or out of your poverty. It is not about what you give but how you give it. When you give you will receive so much more in return. God wants the first of your fruits not your leftovers. You may not always see the return when you give with a pure heart but you will feel the reward in your heart. When you understand where your money comes from then you will be a joyful giver. How are you showing God that you are putting him above all else? If you do not learn how to give out of your poverty you will never be able to give out of your wealth. Be a blessing to someone as tomorrow is not promised. God has given it all to us and is only asking for 10% back. God is calling you to do all that you can. Give up yourself to help someone else in need. Do not listen to the world and allow it to corrupt you. Are you making the world a better place by being in it? God expects more out of you and this is why he has blessed you. We are blessed to be a blessing. You are only cheating yourself by not blessing others."
-Pastor Nic
Pastor Nic preaches about going the extra mile to live out our faith everyday of the week. It's not enough to get by being good, but God wants us to be great and to live out what He has for us.
Scriptures of Focus: James 2:16, Gen 24:14, Col 3:23, Matt 5:41, Matt 5:20
Message Notes:
"The extra mile. Tell the world how great your God is. Live out your faith do not just talk about it. God has called us to be different, to be set apart. Go all in. We all have a desire to succeed. Serve without reward. God likes to promote people who go the extra mile. Do tasks as if you are working for the Lord. Be more like Jesus as he went the extra mile to be a servant to us. Give it the best in all you do. Often times we will not go the extra mile unless we know that there is a benefit for us in the end. We want all these blessings in our life in every area of our lives but we are not willing to put in the extra effort or go the extra mile. No one is too prestigious in their job to pick up trash. You have to desire to go the extra mile. Do not shoot the nasty camel but ride it into your extra mile."
-Pastor Nic

John 3:19-21 - This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

Scriptures of focus: 2 Corr 5:17, Luke 15:11-32, Matt 18:24-27
Message Notes: New beginnings: it all started when you asked Jesus into your heart. You are never to far gone to have a new beginning. Jesus said, behold I am making all things new! God is capable of allowing you a do over at any given moment, all you have to do is ask. God can create something out of nothing. Every day that you wake up God has given you a new beginning, a new opportunity for you to seize. God does not expect perfection from you or for you to always get it right the first time. God wants you to be persistent and to hit that reset button if necessary. Looking at our past all we see is bad decisions. Let the past die with the old you and look to the future and the new beginnings. You cannot just think about the future that God wants to give you must act on it. There will come a day when you will no longer have new beginnings. Will you be ready for the end? Do you know Jesus Christ as your gracious heavenly father? Do not squander your time any longer. What is your response going to be to the new beginning? God forgive me, forgive us. Allow us to always make the most of the new beginnings you give us." -Pastor Nic

Scriptures of Focus: Matt. 23:27-28, Matt 23:3, John 3:1-4, Ephes 4:22-24, Gal 5:17-24, Gal 6:8-10
Message Points:
"Be you! You cannot be a different you for different days of the week. Be real. Be yourself. God wants us to be the best that we can be. Above all else you must guard your heart. God wants to clean up the inside; don't worry so much about beautifying the outside. The problem is not the sin, the problem comes when we accept the sin and live in it. The past is irrelevant, it's the future that matters and if you're following Jesus and allowing Him to lead or carry you. You have to choose who you are going to be. Often times we try everything but Jesus. When we turn to Jesus everything will positively change. At any point you can come to Jesus. Do not wait. Do away with the old you and be born again with spiritual life. There is a constant battle everyday from the moment you wake up between the flesh and the new spiritual creation that God made in you. Be thankful for God's grace, for he will always take is back when we backslide. Do not be discouraged. God does not kick us when we are down, so do not dwell on your mistakes. Leave it at the cross. Jesus loves you and will lift you up. Keep up the good work, do not give up, do not give in and be weary. Gain the reward. Win the next two (minutes)."
-Pastor Nic
Scriptures of Focus: Matt 20:28, Prove 18:16, Luke 14:23, Gal 5:13, Ephes 6:7
Message Points:
5 Key essentials to be a good servant: 1. Good Attitude - Joy with a smile. 2. Listener - How can I serve you? 3. Thank you (To be appreciated). 4. Give Gifts. Open up doors! A Gift Opens the Way. 5. Do Something for someone.
"No strings attached. Give without accolades. You should want to serve as served people get saved. A servant of Christ will bring people to God. We are all the body of Christ and each part has a place to serve and a purpose. Those that continue to work for God will be blessed. You plant the seed in the community and God will sow it. The numbers of your church does not matter as it is how influential that church is. Your life will be changed for the good by an amazing church not a big church. A church needs to reach people not keep or acquire people. Keep showing up. Keep blessing others and encouraging. If you are serving to find convienance than you never going to truly serve God or others. You have to have a compassionate, servant heart. You have to have a good attitude and a desire to serve. Is the joy in your heart? A servant is a good listener and will try to help those with what they actually need not what you want to give. A thank you goes a long way and allows others feel appreciated. When you give a gift, no matter the size, it makes you and them feel good. The most important thing you can give those that are lost and hurting is Jesus. The church is the bridge, the epicentre, and it is one of the greatest places that you can ever be."

Quotes from Pastor Nic:
"Sometimes we are consumed by all the things we do not have and forget about all the things that we do have. We are not here to only just get by. Give the praise for all the goodness. We serve a God that will give us more than enough. God will not say yes to all prayers but he will always give you exactly what you need. Seek the kingdom first and everything else God will provide. You cannot always do life on your own. You need others. You need fellowship. You need to church. Pride comes before the fall. God will use the hand of man to provide for us. The hand of God will never change. God will never allow a single individual to be your sole provider for too long. Man will let you down. The hand of man will change but the hand of God will always be in your life and provide in your time of need. Count your blessings and stop counting your woes. By your own hands. God wants our river of life to flow but some of us refuse to tap into it. God will also provide to you by the hand of your enemy. You do not have to live your life in defeat when you have the victory of Jesus. My God is able and together we see fallen giants. Fuel your victory. For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you."

Witness to them and be energized. God will get your attention if you try to go off on your own road. God will give you direction. New life. New energy. New vision. You can move a lot faster with eyes wide open and a clear vision. Do not shut your eyes and shut God out. You need him to avoid the walls and obstacles. God always makes a way when it looks like there is not one. Without growth there is no impact. Do not give up in the middle or the transition phase. God does some of his best work in the waiting period. Be about the Father's business. Teamwork makes the dream work. A 3 strand rope will not be easily broken. Be a believer of Jesus not just a follower. Be the salt of the world. It is a blessing that you are chosen but be humble as you can be replaced."

Scripture of Focus: Ezekial 47:1-12
"It is living water. Do not shut the river off to the well. Ignite the flame. God does not change. We often plug the river and stop the flow and our life becomes stagnant. Go a little deeper and tap into the source. We serve a God that will always bring us back and accept us when we backslid. It is not impossible to go deeper in your journey with Christ. Go deeper on purpose. Choose your destiny and have a vision. There are people in your path that can only be reached by you. What is stopping you or slowing you down or forcing you to put it off? Do not be afraid to try something and fail...be uncomfortable. You are being led but are you ready to follow or will you continue to resist? Do not be a donkey. God will be there walking beside you. Be the salt of the earth and stay thirsty for the Lord. Nothing is to far gone for God to bring life back into it. Not all those led will follow and they will be left to dehydrate. Those that follow the Lord will produce fruit even though the valley and low points and those that are thirsty will witness this and hopefully come to the Lord."

Scriptures of focus: John 21:1-12, Matthew 4:18-20
Quotes: "I am a pawn a vessel waiting to be used. God will not take no for an answer. He will continue to visit you and ask you to do his work. When the nets are coming up empty and you think God is failing you, this is when you cry out to God and open the door for him. We have our net. It can be tangled or heavy or both. It distracts us where we cannot focus and we struggle to even look to God. Let the net go. When you stop struggling and resisting you will no longer be tangled."
-Pastor Clinton
Pastor Nic talks about how we need to "Keep Showing Up" as we never know when God is going to break through and do something awesome for us!
Quote: Don't miss out on what Gods got for you because your getting a refill of your soda or popcorn! Don't miss what he has for you!!! Don't be a no call no show on your intentional time with God! He doesn't need u to be awesome and mighty, He just wants you to be willing and available! He wants to use who you are to change the world.
"God doesn't always give us want we want he gives us what we need. God will always give us the fruit but often times it is not ripe when we think we want it. When you are in your worst place that's when you need God the most. Keep showing up. Be there. God will Passover the qualified for the available and ready. Get knocked down and keep getting up. The world will tell you that you cant. God will be your footprints even when you can no longer walk he will carry you. You will not have to do it all in one day. Run the race...it is not a sprint. Break throughs are coming. Don't miss what God has for you. How many times has God waited for us and we were a no call no show? (BOOM) You do not have to be perfect and everything figured out. God wants you to come to him broken and longing for him ready to serve. God will use what you have. Do not lose heart. There is an army waiting for you to show up and step out in faith. If you are going to fall then hit your knees and fall forward. Be still. Be patient. Be ready. We have two ears and only one mouth for a reason. Often times in life when we plant the seed we may not see the fruition."

Quote:
"You are never going to be good enough to deserve God's love. God loves us in spite of our failures. We all fall and live in guilt and shame. God can and will set you free if you come to home with your issues. Negativity can suck the joy right out of your life. Give God praise in the midst of your mess and the chains will fall off. You can not be good enough to deserve God's grace and love as it is freely giving. Focus on Jesus and fill your life with him and you will repel the sin. When you chase after Jesus you will no longer fall short and fall into temptation. Serve in love and cover a multitude of sin. Love God and love others and you will change the world. Do not chase perfection as you will climb an endless hill...spinning your wheels. You are wasting potential energy trying to be good that could be focused on Christ. Today is a new day and the past is the past. Live like you are loved because you are. We are unique and valuable. Each one of us have a great plan and we will be used by God." -Pastor Nic
