Hello! Where have we gone? Well, Matt and Ryan continue(!) talking about movies over at Book Club for Movies, Facebook, Twitter (Matt especially), Instagram, and Patreon for all you diehards! (we have not done an episode on Die Hard)
Ryan is also knee-deep into building a YouTube channel called Ryan_Runs_ that features Livestreams, Let's Plays, and videos about games, comics, and what can only be described as "maybe a vlog??" I'm... I mean HE is also making a go of it on Patreon, but if you're wondering where all the free podcast episodes went they've been migrated over to a new feed on Anchor, but also everywhere else in the podcast world, so if you don't feel like clicking on any of those links just type "Ryan_Runs_" into your pod player of choice and you should find me. I mean HIM. This is not me.
See you there!
A new patron! A new thing on the wall! A new layout for the makeshift garage-place where I record all these videos! A new... very old guitar!
Now in color! And a bunch of weird ones at that! Slightly less weird than some of the albums I listened to but your mileage may vary!
Don't call it a comeback, I've been here for years... AND that implies some sort of success previously so let's not be misleading
It's a good thing I do a bit of housekeeping up front otherwise I might've stepped on some of the LEGO talk from the second half of the video zip zingaroo thank you goodnight
It's the Holiday season so this week I've taken comfort in some classic music and spent a bunch of money on a thing - feel that Christmas spirit!
It occurs to me that I might start using this description section to actually describe what the episodes are about! So here's a quick trip through some Aquabats moments from my life, they continue to be zippy dudes that make the world a better place :)
There was a time when skateboarding was about as nerdy as reading comics, for example: me.
Let's get the word out about Call of Duty, but just the ones nobody cares about anymore!
By the time I figured out what was happening it was too late and I had played enough games to record one of these things.
Hello, Ryan here, I have returned to inform the world that Apple Arcade is a thing that involves other things, some of them are games, and that's about as timely as the takes get around here!
Well, it's been a podcast, now I guess it's time to be something else, except still a podcast.
Thank you to all, anyone who listened, anyone who heard, it's always been such a small thing, and yes sometimes a very dumb thing, but our thing, you included, and that means the world.
It's that time of the year again, the air is rich with game nomination and Ryan heeds the call to ride southward yet again...
Boy have you come to the right place for "a free game that's a roller coaster game," but also Raw Data, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Not Spec Ops Mode, and the finally the less offensive version of Uno you've always wanted.
Let us give thanks for DC Legends(?), Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, Assassin's Creed Odyssey Discovery Tour, Poke-man-children, and Amy Hennig's blatant unwillingness to work with Robert Kirkman.
It must be time to talk about free fast food glassware, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, but like the REALLY modern warfare one, DC Legends, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, DC Legends, being adaptive, Anthem??, Halo Reach Around boom still got it, and probably DC Legends but actually Mortal Combat 11 somehow!
Welcome to another episode of Ryan Matt This and That where we take a stab at Cereal, Diablo 3, Modern Warfare, DC Legends, and I think cooking, but who knows!
Get your phones out you're in for a legendarily long DC discussion this week with a little help from Yoku's Island Express, Outer Worlds, Modern Warfare, and some of that Blizzard hullabaloo!
You, me, Borderlands 3, Call of Duty Black Ops 2, Untitled Goose Game, Yoku's Island Express, puzzles, Hong Kong, Analogue Pocket, Simpsons Hit and Run, Grand Theft Auto, Chernobylite, and Dupree.
Lock up your daughters Matt and Ryan are on the prowl and would innocently encourage them to play video games like... comic books and wrestling? Magic Mountain? Mario Kart Arcade GP DX and Black Ops... 2? Hey we finally got there with Doom Eternal, Modern Warfare, Valve, Blizzard, and Fortnite!
Ryan and Matt are remarkably restrained with the Borderlands 3 this week, and a little less so with Untitled Goose Game, Magic the Gathering Arena, Apex Legends, House of the Dead, Death Stranding, Mortal Kombat 11, and The Last of Us Part 2.
Get your pinball on with Ryan, Zen, and Yoku, but then also get your Borderlands on, consider also being on about Apex Legends, but do not by any means be on or anywhere near your Destiny.
Borderlands 3, Toilet games, Super Nintendos, Untitled Goose Games, dummies, Google Play Passes, Batmans, and Undead Nightmares are just a few of the things I've listed in this description!
Borderlands 3 is out and so were we, thus also Drag 'n Merge, Dr. Mario World kinda, Ninja Gaiden, Wolfenstein Youngblood's end-game, Control's beginning-game, Star Wars Battlefront II somehow, prognosticating, Apple Arcade, and some Nintendo's week-old weirdness.
It's Day of 3 of PAX (depending on your exchange rate), check us out as we check things out!
PAX is upon us and 0HP is upon you, let's give show favorite Adam Parkin a chance to tell Ryan to shut-up about what he saw!
Apologies to all the Dr. Mario World fans out there but Wolfenstein Youngblood commits the cardinal sin this week, but we'll always have the DC Comics Beck-Building Game, Gears of War 5, Need for Speed Heat, NBA 2K20, and Bubble Bobble 4? Friends?
If you remember last week when we talked about Wolfenstein Youngblood and Dr. Mario World then you are gonna LOVE when we finish doing that again and talk about Ninja, Walmart, and loot boxes? Video games?
Ryan and Matt muscle through the technical difficulties this week to give you the best about Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Dr. Mario World, Modern Warfare, Ninja™, and... sigh.
Matt and Ryan talk about ALL the games this week i.e. The Minecrafts, Teppen, Konami Picture Puzzle Collection, Super Mario Run, Dr. Mario World, Overwatch, Crackdown 3, The Fortnites, Bully, and those are just SOME of the games I typed in this description!
Mortal Kombat 11. Pac-Man Championship Edition 2. Dr. Mario World. Plants vs Zombies. Overwatch. These are just a few (all) of the hard hitters we talk about this week for video game podcast time 2019!
We Gwo Agwain this week with a little help from Dying Light, Super Mario Run, TurboGrafx 13 through 16, Wrecking Crew, and the Switch Lite! Video Games!
Gwents, haxorz, poohs, e.t.s, cupheads, lueguizamos, and sad millionaires. Video games?
Ryan and Matt get into it again, where "it" is games and "games" are Injustice 2, Mortal Kombat 11, Ms. Pac-Man, Overwatch, Bridge Constructor Portal, Cadence of Hyrule, Remedy Games, and Nazi... games? Video games!
Relax, it's time for relaxing with the relaxing sounds of Matt and Ryan's real laxing personalities and complete lack of thesaurususes. Video games!
Dates: who even cares! People at E3 I guess, which we are not, so let's talk about that for 47 minutes I guess!
It's late in some many more ways than one, so come, sit by the fire and let's talk about all the fire at this year's fire fire E3 fire
Get yer Tuesdays on yer Wednesdays here at 0HITPOINTS, where we don't talk about Mortal Kombat 11 but do talk about Ghostbusters, Icewind Dale, Dead by Daylight, Mortal Kombat 11, Contra, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Again, and Death Stranding.
Ryan and Matt return refreshed and replete with "games" like Clash Royale a la wrestler town, Tokaido, Betrayal at House on the Hill, Croquet, League of Litigators, dead horses, dead Ouya's, cranky consoles, and THE gaming disorder you've heard so much about!
We play hard, fast, and/or loose with the rules this week and talk about Randy Pitchford, Mortal Kombat 11, Rainbow Six Siege, Ghost Recon Colon Breakpoint, and the Super Mario Super Show. Video games!
In Part 2 of our special 2 Part Mortal Kombat series that apparently exists we talk about such fatalities as Overwatch poisoning its players, Borderlands 3 shooting itself in the foot, and Riot Games continuing to fart on people to death!
What happens when you do eleven of something? This podkast, apparently, so put your Mortal Komhats on and listen to this fatality of a conversation before time resets all over again!
This week Matt and Ryan break all the rules and regulations of podcasting and go from Jon Lovitz stencils to Fish Police a la John Ritter to The Family Dog to a Belushi to ... video games?? Like Konami's Pixel Puzzle Collection, Bioshock Infinite somehow, the SNES Dr. Mario/Tetris cart, Super Mario Party, Beat Saber, Superhot VR, Astro Bot Rescue Mission, The Xbone Sad :(, Jedi Fallen Order, and Call of Duty I guess!
Tonight on a very special episode of Touched By An Angel Matt and Ryan occupy the same space as they talk about such couch co-op classics as Toejam and Earl: Back in the Groove, Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, Ice Climbers, Ice Hockey, Pro Wrestling, Dr. Mario, and WWE Stupercard! Vidyo Games!
Ryan and Matt are demonstrably back with a veritable greatest hits of things you've already heard about except maybe Toejam and Earl: Back in the Groove, Borderlands 3, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, and Mortal Kombat 11?
Ryan and Matt are back back back with cursory callouts to Red Dead Redemption 2 and Gears 4 competitive multiplayer before the real business begins Breath of the Wild by proxy, Zach Gage's oeuvre (!), solitary rabbit holes, reaching for Master Chief, Turtle Rock's Back 4 Blood, and UWC Wrestling! Video games!
One more week and then I'll have your podcast, I swear, come on you gotta believe me, I got a family
Stop me if you've heard this one: a Red Dead walks into a Crackdown and says "One Tetris 99 please!" "No thanks, I quit!" says Reggie as he AFL-CIOs out the door. Video games!
Get further Red Dead Redeemed this week before Tetris 99 and Crackdown 3 give way to Link's Awakening, Marvel's Ultimate Alliance, Super Mario's Maker, Carlton's Copyrighting Kerfuffle, and Activision Blizzard's... I don't know, look, they fired a ton of people that apparently weren't making the next Call of Duty campaign. Video Games!
Keeping it short and sweet in both podcast length and statured disposition this week as Red Dead Redemption 2 (eventually) gives way to Apex Legends before Ryan Springs the News on Matt!
Anthem. Wordscapes. Red Dead Redemption 2. All the hits. Then things get weird, but only then.
What do WWE 2K19, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Super Mario Party, Super Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, EA's doubly cancelled Star Wars game, and Mortal Kombat 11 all have in common? I probably should've asked this question before we recorded!
Ryan gorges on Super Mario Party, Super Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Nintendo Labo, and Gradius while Matt gets all the way inside the wrestling baseball before Rocket League ruins the Super Nintendo news and Gearbox narrowly beats out Destiny for something, I think.
It's 2019 and if you think you've heard it all... THINK AGAIN, we've got year-end lists happening in the wrong year about games that barely came out in that year anyway, it's chaos, don't even try to figure it out.
Happy Hitpoints everyone let's get past our confusing Sonic feelings and talk about Smash Bros, Red Dead, Outer Worlds, ethics?, boosting with cavemen, the newest Doom game, Street Fight V: Dorkade Edition, toxic execs LoL, and the coldest HotS esports action around! Video games?
Ryan and Matt are back with a bunch on them Smashing Brothers, Switch Online a la NES, and Ryan's Report™ on the gamiest of awards shows.
Doesn't get any redder or deader round these parts, especially these here online parts, but there's still room for Jackbox Party Pack 5's Zeeple Dome, Mad Verse City, and Split the Room with a little Donut County and Alphaputt on top, because this turned into a food analogy at the very end!
Game Awards VIP Ryan Miller here, I've taken time away from my VIP duties (sorry Geoff!) to engage with LIP Matt Amberg about this year's nominees and boy are they nominated, just listen to how nominated they are!
Join Matt and Ryan as they break down hot dealz, turkey corpses, Red Dead 2, Beat Saber, Tetris Effect, Battlefield 1, the reanimation of The Walking Dead, the immortality of Diablo, and Red Dead Online!
Welcome to another Black Ops: White Guys with Matt and Ryan, but we also talk about Mutant League Football, WWE Supercard, Red Dead Redemption 2...'s Dominos, Tetris Effect, and those Sweet, Sweet Sony Somethings.
Boy howdy it's time to talk about Stan Lee, cats, nuts, Rachel, sliptides, and then some side stuff about some video games or something like Overkill's Walking Dead, Red Dead Redemption 2, Toon Blast, Donut County, The Game Awards, and Microsoft's X018 event.
Dead By Daylights. Overwatches. Red Dead Redemptions Twos. These are only a few of all of the games we'll talk about, and then we'll catch up with the Playstaions Classics and Blizzcons on this early April Fool's joke of a show we got going on!
Hands up if you've heard of Dead By Daylight, Call of Duty Black Ops 4, the end of Marvel's Spider-Man, Red Dead Redemption 2, Call of Duty Black Ops 1, Assassin's Creed Odyssey via Google's Project Stream, Micro Machines World Something Who Cares, and not technically Gears of War 4!
Nobody's perfect, so this week Matt tries Spider-Man again, Ryan begins the road to Blops, we remember how Super the game of Dodgeball is, and we find out that crunch simply isn't as delicious as it sounds.
Sure, we talk about Spider-Man for a bit but boy do we get the God out this week (of War) while Google and Microsoft have a good ol/ fashioned stream-off. Video games!
Let's go again for the first time as Matt and Ryan try and fail to escape the Spider-Man-God-of-War time loop yet again, unless you count all the Telltale, Oculus, and crossplay stuff. Which we do.
It's another whirlwind week for the 0HP crew as they ride some votes in race cars, do what a spider can, shut down some game studios, talk about Sony Shenanigans™ and have a good ol' fashioned Red Dead Round Up!
Join Matt as he joins Ryan for their joint enjoyment of streaming Dead By Deadlight, the middle of God of War, Monopoly Deal, and everything this week's Nintendo Direct has to offer!
Do you like normal shows? Matt and Ryan attempt their best approximation this week with some final thoughts on PAX, Marvel's Spider-Man, The Last of Us, Gears of War 4 speedrunning, Tomb Raider, Holedown, the Battle Royale of Battle Royale 2018, Remedy's new Vanguard thing, and how to be divisive about the Division 2!
PAX is over, long live PAX, unlike Matt and Ryan who might die before your eyes while breathlessly trying to communicate their 4th day impressions about Tetris Effect... again, Creed: Rise to Glory, Ninjala, The Quiet Man, guilty pleasure games, The Messenger, Light Fingers, UFO 50... again, and some Untitled Goose Game!
And thank you to all that made this weekend possible, and thank you all who made it great!
Day 3 of PAX West 2018 is in the can and so is our show about it, Ryan has found his game of show, his contract marketer of show, thieving loot goblins, Geoff Keighley and The Game Awards panel, a horror panel (of sorts), impromptu pacs, Bendy and the Ink Machine, Kingdom Two Crowns, UFO 50 again, and the Indie Megabooth panel! PAX!
Matt, Ryan, and probably Ian keep adding people to the show so say hi to Sean, some ramblings on the evolution of PAX, Bendy and the Ink Machine, Metro Exodus, Spyro, Dragon Quest 11, Last Year: The Nightmare, Dusk, '90s Football Stars, Darksiders 3, Let's Rank It, Spawn on Me, and The Church in the Darkness' Ellen McLain (GLaDOS) and John Patrick Lowrie (Team Fortress)!
Back at it tomorrow!
Ryan and Matt and... Ian??? tackle LIVE the hot topics of pick pockets, Black Future '88, Dunk Lords, Stone Story RPG, What the Golf, UFO50, Mowin' and Throwin', Disco Elysium, Darksiders 3, and Jackbox Party Pack 5 on Day One of PAX West 2018!
Day Two is tomorrow, that's typically how these things work!
Stop me if you've heard these ones: Dead by Daylight, Twitch streaming, Tekken 7, Red Robin coupons, Gears of War 4, Star Wars Battlefront 2 and the human condition, copy cats, cool cats, and ninja cats. Video games?
Ryan and Matt "Remember This Thing?" Amberg are again ready to regale with tales of Battletech, Tekken 7, QuakeCon a la Rage 2, Fallout 76, Borderlands 3?, Doom Eternal, Litigation for Losers 2.0, Red Dead Redemption 2, and IGN-e-thing to get published I guess!
Ryan and Matt come up a little short yet again this week with some help from The Last of Us, Tomb Raider, EVO 2018, Eye Pee, and a special tribute to Richard Marx!
The last of things, frame frames, marvels, braiders, and seventy sixers on this week's episode of Losing Touch with Matt and Ryan!
No Gears 4 or Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 talk here! Nope! Matt played Warframe! Ryan thinks No Man's Sky looks cool! Maybe you've heard the news about Rainbow Six Siege or Remedy's cool games? That's definitely everything!
Ryan and Matt take another stab at podcasting this week with Burgertime a la barcades, Dead by Daylight, Gears of War 4, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, and Aliens Colonial Marines before yes ending the show early of course!
Ryan and Matt talk Dead By Daylight, State of Decay 2, The Jackbox Party Pack 1 and 2, Goat Simulator's Waste of Space, Rockband 4, Recore: Actually the Whole Game Edition, Gears of War 4, Volgarr the Viking, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, Amy Hennig, and Overwatch's latest way to make us feel good about ourselves!
A June episode... in July?? Join 0HITPOINTS at the forefront of games as Ryan and Matt make things up about Sea of Thieves, Forza Horizon 3, final thoughts on Burnout Paradise, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, Friday the 13th, Fallout vs. Westworld, Sony vs. themselves and everyone else in the world, spies like us, and gaming disorders.
It's E3 again still again and Matt and Ryan pick up where they left off last week with Square Enix, Ubisoft, PC Gaming, Sony, and Nintendo!
