Today we draw your attention to Jesus feeding five thousand people with a young boy’s lunch, and then He walks on the water, and calls Peter out of the boat to join Him! We’re learning to trust in Jesus, step out in faith, praise in the midst of the storm, from Matthew chapter fourteen. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Maybe you’re under the impression that now you’re saved and on your way to heaven you can just go to a secluded island, relax on a hammock and drink iced tea all day, for the rest of your life. The reality is God has a plan and purpose for our lives that includes service of some kind. His Spirit comes into our lives encouraging us to be like Christ and live for the glory of God! Today on a Daily Walk Pastor John Randall shows us what a privilege it is to be the temple of God, and serving Jesus in our daily walk.To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall shows us why spiritual growth is to occur from new birth until we go to be with the Lord. First Corinthians speaks of those who could be classified as carnal Christians. And if that’s you today, John will point to the hope that is found in this passage too. Paul referred to the Corinthians as babies in the Christian life because they weren’t spiritually healthy and mature. They often argued like children over non-essentials and allowed petty divisions to distract them. Sadly, this kind of behavior still exists today as we'll hear on today's program. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Where do you go to get wisdom concerning spiritual things? Your local library or college? Or your highly respected friend down the street? If you look any where other than God you’ll be disappointed and unsatisfied. Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall urges us to go to God for wisdom of the best kind. And the Holy Spirit is alone qualified to supply us that wisdom. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Today we’re going to pick up where we left off in First Corinthians. Which happens to be the end of chapter one. God’s choices may not make a whole lot of sense to many in our world. He’s chosen the weak and lowly things of the world. And for good reason as we’ll soon see. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
When you’re going through a really hard time, it’s a good idea to get away and have some alone time with God. We’ll see Jesus model that for us today on a Daily Walk through a study in Matthew fourteen. We’ll then go on to see our Lord and Savior minister to the multitudes in the midst of His pain. Whether it’s on the athletic field or in the business world, when executives are putting a team together they typically look for the best and brightest! But God doesn’t work that way. He so often picks the foolish things of the world, the weak and powerless! Why? So He alone will get the glory! That’s the lesson in front of us today on a Daily Walk, as we return to First Corinthians chapter one with John Randall! To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Today we get back to our series in First Corinthians. Maybe you’ve noticed, knowledge is on the increase. But with all of our advances, the world is in a real mess! Why is that? Wee need to receive the message of the cross, and live according to godly wisdom, not what the world has to offer. And today’s study will really drive that home. We’ve all seen churches and families divide, even sometimes over the most trivial matters. Maybe you’ve experienced this. But it’s God’s desire to see us unified, in spite of our differences. Today, pastor John Randall continues a discussion about division. We’ll hear how to avoid division, the cause and cure of it too!To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
With all the various personalities, preferences, and convictions we shouldn’t be surprised when there are differences and disagreement in the church. While there’s certainly nothing wrong with having differing opinions we can run into real problems when we take things a step further and an argument develops or worse yet division! Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall shares the reason why it’s so important to have unity in the church. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29

Today we’ll bring you a day in the life of Jesus. And you know something, it looks a lot like what we go through! Acceptance, joy, rejection, and grief! Today on a Daily Walk we begin a helpful new series in First Corinthians, just part of our thru the Bible study with John Randall. As the world around us is becoming more wicked by the minute, how can we be different and honor God with our lives? Pastor John believes First Corinthians contains just what we need to hear for times like these. He’ll begin with an introduction. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
We’ve seen it so often in the church, a family, neighborhood and even in this nation division! And it’s not hard to see the damage that’s left behind. People no longer talking to each other, church splits, divorce, and on and on I could go. How does God feel about it, and how can we avoid it? Those are just a couple of key questions pastor John Randall will address in this our final study of Romans on a Daily Walk. We’re learning how to prevent division. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
We’re just about finished with our study of Romans. In the sixteenth and final chapter Paul makes mention of a number of people he served the Lord with and considered very dear friends! Today we join the apostle Paul on a journey to Jerusalem. As we learned last time it would not be easy. He was seeking to walk in the will of God, and trying to figure it out as he goes. He was committed in spite of the cost. Today he gets personal and shares a few prayer requests. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
As you look at where the nation of Israel is at spiritually, and the horrific way they’ve been treated through the ages you might be wondering, has God forgotten about them? Is He done with Israel? That very question is addressed and answered for us in Romans chapter eleven. And that’s where we’ll camp out today on a Daily Walk with pastor John Randall. Pastor John Randall is knee deep in his study of Romans. We’ll be in chapters ten and eleven today. If you’re a believer, you have a testimony! And God can use it in great ways as we simply share it with others. It may be with your coworker, a family member, or even a total stranger. Let’s have a look at the power of your testimony today on a Daily Walk!To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Throughout the day we talk about everything from the weather to what’s on the news, our kids and even about the guy that cut us off on the freeway. But oftentimes we fail to talk about the most important thing of life, namely the gospel. We pick up where we left off in Romans, which reveals the way to be made right with God. It’s by believing in Christ. There’s another way but no one can do it! And that’s by keeping the entire law all of its commands and without fail. Nobody but Jesus can or has done that. So consider where you’re at today, and if a change of heart and direction is needed! We continue moving verse by verse through the book of Romans. And in chapter ten we’ll hear about the Savior that God provided as a gift, and the righteousness He provides apart from the works of the law. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Jesus was sure great about taking deep heavenly truths, and making them easy to understand. One of His chosen methods of teaching was through stories we refer to as parables. Maybe like me you enjoy a good story. Our Lord was the master story teller! On today’s A Daily Walk with pastor John Randall, we’ll begin a look at one of these parables - a rather well known one that deals with reaping and sowing. Most of us really struggle with patience. It’s usually on full display for all to see during rush hour traffic, or when the grocery line is more than three people! But God is very patient and long-suffering in His dealings with us. And we should be thankful He is! With that said, that doesn’t mean we should take advantage of it and continue to resist His plan and purpose in our lives. There are many difficult and debated questions in Christian circles. One of the biggies has to do with God’s sovereign will. We’ll discover today on a Daily Walk that God in His sovereignty has the ability to show mercy, and the ability to honor a decision made against Him through a person’s free will! Does that seem a little unfair or unjust? Or maybe a little hard to understand? If so, listen to this as pastor John Randall visits Romans chapter nine.To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
You may have heard a couple of Christians discussing or debating the sovereignty of God and free will of man. Typically folks fall in one camp or the other. But today we’ll learn that the Bible actually teaches both. And so we should embrace both, even though we may not understand how they intersect. That’s the emphasis of pastor John Randall’s message, God’s Election of Israel. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Pastor John Randall makes it clear today that we have a limited understanding this side of heaven, and we need to be ok with that. At times we don’t fully understand God’s choices and ways. But one thing is for sure God is good and can be trusted. Let’s turn to Romans chapter nine for part one of God’s election of Israel. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Is God done with Israel? Some would say, it sure looks like it. But a careful look at history, at what God’s done and is doing, proves He has a plan for Israel! Today we’ll meet a group of religious leaders that were self-deceived, thinking it was enough just to clean the outside of their lives, without addressing what’s wrong on the inside. That resembles a lot of folks today! Jesus makes it clear in Matthew chapter twelve that real and lasting change starts with a transformation on the inside that only God can accomplish. It seems like a day doesn’t go by that we don’t at the very least hear of Israel mentioned in the news. Needless to say, many eyes are on this little nation even God’s! We’ve been making our way, verse by verse through the New Testament. And Romans chapter eight asserts God is for us. We come to a very familiar verse today on a Daily Walk, Romans eight twenty-eight! It reminds us that believers are in the hands of God, who in His remarkable providence works all things together for good. But how do you really know that all things are working together for good in your life? Maybe that seems hard to believe when the doctor says its cancer, or you have a flat tire on the side of the road. Pastor John Randall looks into this very question today, as we return to Romans chapter eight. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
As believers in Christ we look forward to the day we’re in heaven, when every tear will be wiped away. There’ll be no more suffering, sickness, or death. But in the meantime, we will experience pain and suffering. Today on a Daily Walk, pastor John Randall will help us maintain the right perspective through those painful trials, with eyes set on Jesus. Perhaps the most difficult challenge we face concerning God or the greatest struggle some have with God is why does He allow suffering. The problem of pain is an age-old problem and a very difficult one. And I should add it’s equally or even a greater challenge to the believer, who knows God and knows that God loves them. How do we deal with the problem of pain? Why is there so much suffering in the world? Is there a remedy? We’ll get some answers as we continue in the book of Romans with pastor John Randall. Pastor John Randall, our Bible teacher, is taking us verse by verse through Matthew’s gospel. We’re nearing the end of chapter twelve. The Pharisees, like many people today, attempted to clean up the outside without really addressing the inside! You see, there must be a transformation by God on the inside, and when there is it makes its way to the outside. This isn’t something we manufacture on our own, but a total work of God. Maybe you’ve adopted a child or two? Obviously an adopted child will receive all the blessings and benefits that go with being apart of that particular family. At the moment of our conversion to Christ, a battle begins! It’s a battle within us, between the flesh and the spirit. And maybe, you feel as though the flesh is coming out on top more often than not! Is there a way to be victorious in the battle? I’m happy to say there is, through the strength and power of God. Today on a Daily Walk we’ll take a look at this internal war and see how to be overcomers in Christ. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
What are we to make of all of those laws on the left side of our Bibles? Like many of the Jews in the first century, some today are under the impression that a person must keep those laws in order to be saved. Not only is that impossible, but it misses the purpose of the law. As we’ll learn today on a Daily Walk, the law is designed to reveal our sin and drive us to our Savior! That’s the emphasis of the first half of Romans chapter seven, and where we join pastor John Randall today for his message, Law and Order. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Many who would characterize themselves as New Testament believers are still living under the Old Testament law. They’re still trying to live up to a standard that is unattainable, instead of recognizing the law was intended to show us we can’t keep it. And we need a Savior who not only can save guilty sinners but also bring about holiness in our lives. Today on a Daily Walk we’ll recognize this tendency we have so we don’t miss out on the true purpose of the law! To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Our teacher and pastor John Randall is currently studying the gospel of Matthew with us, and today we make another visit to chapter twelve. Here the religious leaders are coming against Jesus with some absurd and illogical accusations. Claiming He was casting out demons by satanic powers! But nothing could be further from the truth! To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
The Bible makes it clear that we’re saved by grace through faith. It’s not of works, but a free gift. But does that mean the believer is free to sin continually or even occasionally? Let’s talk about it today on a Daily Walk as we finish up Romans chapter six. Pastor John Randall will provide compelling reasons why the Christian should not make plans to sin occasionally. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
We’re going through Romans with pastor John Randall. We’ve learned previously in this epistle that we’re saved by grace, and God will forgive us no matter what we’ve done if we’ll turn to Him in faith. But does that mean, once we become saved, that we can continue in a lifestyle of sin? Is it ok to willingly engage in sin occasionally, knowing that forgiveness will be offered? The apostle Paul answers that for us in Romans chapter six. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
How often have we seen it, someone prays a prayer and walks an aisle. Then walks out of church and goes on to live like they always have. But as we open Romans chapter six, we come to realize the believer in Christ is dead to sin and no longer to be controlled by it! We’ll not only hear why that’s the case, but how the change occurs today on a Daily Walk. We’ve been making our way through the book of Romans and in chapter six we discover holiness is expected to occur in the life of the Christian. How concerned are you about holiness? Some aren’t concerned at all about it, others go way overboard into unnecessary strictness, and still others have their own code of conduct! But what does God have to say about it all? That’s what we’ll focus in on today with pastor John Randall. We’ll find great insight on sanctification and holiness in Romans chapter six here on a Daily Walk!To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29

As you examine your life today maybe you’d describe some areas as withered! Perhaps it’s your marriage or your devotional life? Today we pickup where we left off in the New Testament book of Romans. And in chapter five we spotlight what we all should know is true, that everyone sins and everyone dies. But we’re also told why. Pastor John is quick to admit this passage isn’t easy to interpret, but it paints a wonderful contrast between the life of Adam and the life of Jesus. Peace, joy, hope, grace we recognize those as blessings right away but have you ever thought of Tribulation as a blessing? In recent weeks pastor John Randall has helped us arrive at an understanding of the doctrine of justification how we become right with God. Yes it’s truly amazing that God would be willing to save sinners like you and me. And if that wasn’t enough, God also pours out some amazing blessings into our lives, once we become saved. We’ll highlight a few of them today like peace with God and access to God and His grace. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Get ready for a faith-strengthening message from pastor John Randall. We’ll once again be looking at the faith of Abraham. Today we’re going to recall the faith of Abraham. As you’ll see, he believed God could do the impossible and had hope in the midst of a hopeless situation. The Pharisees were obsessed with catching Jesus in the act of breaking their rules and traditions. But, in actuality, their laws often cut against the grain of the Scriptures, and Jesus conveyed this to them in such clever ways that they were usually left scratching their heads! Today on A Daily Walk, we’ll take a look at an instance in Matthew Twelve where the Pharisees caught Jesus and His disciples breaking one of their rules. How did Jesus react? There are a large number of people today that are under the illusion that they can gain a right standing with God through their good behavior. Ask them a question like, Are you going to heaven when you die? And they might say something like, I think so, I’m a pretty good person. Today we open our Bibles to Romans chapter four, and find the truth about our salvation. We’re all made righteous through trusting in Christ alone, and not by anything we have done. One of the most fascinating and well-known persons in the Bible is Abraham. Yes he lived long ago but his story still speaks to us today, providing great encouragement to trust in Jesus alone for salvation. In Romans chapter four the argument for salvation by grace through faith is made by using the historical account of Abraham. Pastor John Randall will explore this liberating truth of how God not only saved Abraham by faith apart from works but really all of us!To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
We’ll join pastor John Randall in Romans chapter three on this Wednesday. Today we’re going to unwrap the beautiful doctrine of salvation. We’re guilty sinners, with no way to become righteous on our own. But God provided a solution to our sin problem. While being Just, He at the same time justifies the guilty sinner through the work of Jesus on the cross. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Pastor John Randall is taking us through Romans one verse at a time, and we visit chapter three once again today. Verses 21-31 beautifully describe the doctrine of salvation. We’ve learned previously that it’s impossible for us to live up to the standard of the law. We’re all sinners, and can’t possibly earn our way into heaven. So where does that leave us? Is there any hope? I’m glad to say there is, in Jesus. And Romans makes that clear. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Some of you are old enough to remember the hymn that proclaims. All to Him I owe - sin has left a crimson stain He washes white as snow. I suspect the writer of that familiar verse could have received some inspiration from Romans chapter three - the passage in front of us today. And for some inspiration of our own let’s join Pastor John Randall as he focuses on the depravity of man, and the answer to our sin problem. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
We pick up today in Matthew, chapter eleven. People everywhere are growing weary and burdened as they look at the problems in the world and in their life. Many are looking for relief. The good news is we can find rest and salvation in Jesus. How do we know this? Jesus said so Himself. Let’s head on over to Matthew Eleven as we join pastor John for A Daily Walk.To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Today we begin Romans chapter three which reveals the total depravity of man! And our great need for Jesus and God’s grace. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
In his letter to the Romans, Paul was adamant about our position in Christ - that we are saved by grace and grace alone. He declared that our status here on earth has absolutely no bearing on our position in heaven. This was a hard lesson for the Jews to grasp, as they were taught to regard their status as higher than the lowly Gentiles around them. Grab that Bible of yours and open it up to Romans chapter two and follow along with us as John Randall shows us that nothing can save us apart from Christ. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
The law is much like a mirror- it can only show us our sin- it can’t cleanse us of it. Yet too many seek to live under the law expecting they can perform it. That only leads to hypocrisy and judgmentalism. There’s a better way - a way that actually works! Today on a Daily Walk we take you to Romans chapter two and see together what that is. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Maybe you’ve noticed, we’re pretty good at making excuses to justify our bad behavior. But we’re all too quick to come down hard on others who do the very same thing. This sort of self-deception and self-righteousness was present in the heart of the people we’ll read about today in Romans chapter two. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Think you’re better than the next guy.... think again! Apart from Christ, we’re all seen as unrighteous and wicked in the sight of God. And that’s important to understand, as it emphasizes how greatly we need a savior. Pastor John Randall is going through Romans right now, and we enter chapter two today. Our attention turns now to those who are self-righteous, and hypocritical. It’s not just a problem in the past, but very much an issue in the present. Even John the Baptist wondered about Jesus and had some doubts. And in Matthew chapter eleven sent some of his disciples to ask Jesus if he was indeed the expected Messiah. Sin is not to be trifled with because it’s a powerful force that wreaks havoc. Maybe you’ve noticed, there’s a concentrated effort today to suppress the truth, or hold it down! Attempt to share God’s truth in this environment and you might get this reply, Well that’s your truth, not mine! But today on the program we’ll see what this sort of behavior really leads to, and it’s not pretty. In these last days we have countless numbers of opportunities to share the gospel and tell others about Jesus. It may be at the family dinner table, or as you’re seated next to a total stranger on a plane. Question is will you hold back because of fear, or step out in faith and courage? Pastor John Randall is leading a study of Romans. We’ll be covering the first seven verses today which really uncovers Paul’s heart for the church at Rome. What an incredible journey it’s been, to see the birth of the Christian church, the descending of the Holy Spirit, the conversion of Saul, and all of the other things that have happened in this book. Paul finds himself now shipwrecked and on the island of Malta. But God had promised him that he would make it to Rome, the voyage would resume, and not even a serpent could prevent that from happening! Today on a Daily Walk we join pastor John Randall in Acts 27. Paul is at sea and on his way to Rome with a couple hundred guys. They encounter an enormous storm that lasted for fourteen days and end up on the island of Malta. Pastor John is going to relate this to the storms we face in life! We’ll see how we get into them and out of them too! To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
You can be sure, even the most godly Christians will go through trials and storms! It’s not always linked to wrongdoing or because God is somehow displeased with us. With that said, there are some storms that are unnecessary and we create! Today pastor John Randall speaks about that and reveals how we get into that sort of a storm, and how we can get out! It’s not hard to see people struggle with fear in the world as we know it. Maybe it’s a fear of death that has a grip on you, or a fear of what people think of us or even what may happen if we choose to go down a certain path. Today on a Daily Walk we’ll turn to Jesus who can help to calm those fears, just as He did for His troubled disciples. Turn if you would to Matthew chapter ten and let’s face our fears. We left off in Acts chapter twenty-six with Paul’s defense before King Agrippa and Festus the Roman governor. In presenting his defense Paul recounts his conversion experience and calling by God, to make him a minister and witness of Jesus. We’re told all of this almost persuaded Agrippa to become a Christian. But as we’ll see we are either for Christ or against Him. The almost Christian or the so-called undecided is still against Jesus. Think about where you’re at today and allow the Lord to speak to you through His Word. Today on a Daily Walk we turn back to Acts where King Agrippa is almost persuaded to become a Christian. We’re about to continue with Paul’s defense before those who are unjustly holding him. We find Paul, instead of seeking to be released from imprisonment, uses these circumstances to proclaim the gospel and the power of God to his captors. Are you one of those that is always putting things off? In some areas of life procrastination isn’t such a big deal, but putting off salvation is never a good idea because we’re not guaranteed tomorrow! We’ll see a real life example of that as we turn back to Acts 24 here on a Daily Walk. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Today we head over to Acts twenty-three and continue to hear Paul’s defense before the Jewish and Roman authorities. Paul has been accused of sedition but his only offense is preaching the gospel, that salvation comes not by the keeping of the Old Testament laws and sacrifices but by faith in Jesus Christ. Today we're in Acts twenty-three. At various times in our lives we’ll find ourselves afraid and feel like we’re all alone! But God has a message for us at such times Take courage, be of good cheer, and God will stand with us! Paul needed to hear that at this season of his life. Maybe you do too! Facing some opposition or obstacles in your daily walk? That’s to be expected, but how do we respond to it as God would have us? We’re about to find out today on a Daily Walk through a study of Matthew chapter ten. Here Jesus is preparing His disciples for what’s ahead, and we stand to benefit from this valuable instruction. At various times in our lives we’ll find ourselves afraid and feel like we’re all alone! But God has a message for us at such times take courage, be of good cheer, and God will stand with us! Talking to people about the Lord doesn’t always come easy, wouldn’t you agree? What do you say and how do you say it? Will it be well received or will they get angry with us? Opportunities are all around us, whether it’s in line at the grocery store, waiting in the doctor’s office, or at work! But will we have the courage to say what needs to be said? Today on a Daily Walk we’ll learn from the apostle Paul’s experiences that will serve to help us share our testimony and the Gospel. We continue our study of the Book of Acts today on a Daily Walk. You'll hear the Apostle Paul’s testimony and defense before the Jews. Paul is finally given his long-awaited opportunity to share Jesus with his fellow countrymen, the Jews. It’s not an easy crowd to talk, that’s for sure. And pastor John believes we can learn a great deal from it to help us share our faith and testimony! To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Maybe you’ve noticed when you’re living out the will of God the road can be difficult and rocky at times. Though we’ll suffer, even in the will of the Lord, God is still accomplishing something great! And doors often swing wide open, that wouldn’t otherwise be there, for us to share the good news! Today on a Daily Walk we’ll notice what happened to the apostle Paul as he was in the will of God. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
What is God’s will? That’s one of the most frequently asked questions by Christians. And maybe you’re wrestling over a big decision today, asking that very question? Should you accept that job offer and move should you be dating a certain person? Today on a Daily Walk we’ll receive practical guidance to help us live out the will of God. We’ll be in Acts 21 where Paul is on a journey to Jerusalem. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Jesus taught the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. Why is it that the laborers are few? Is it because so many feel unqualified or too busy so they won’t venture into the harvest? Today we’ll study Matthew chapter ten, and discover the kind of people that Jesus calls to be His laborers. You’ll be encouraged to discover they are just like you and me. Today on a Daily Walk our teacher pastor John Randall opens the book of Acts. In chapter twenty we receive Paul’s farewell address and a powerful example of ministry. Paul was the sort of guy who didn’t hold anything back or water down the Gospel message. He remained focused on Christ and God’s plan for His life, regardless of what others thought or did. And wouldn’t you agree we need men and women like that today! To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
We’re currently going verse by verse through the book of Acts. On today’s broadcast we join pastor John in Acts chapter twenty. Having discerned it was time to leave Ephesus the apostle Paul and his missionary team are now headed to Macedonia and then on to Greece. And there are some things that stood out in Paul’s life that John wants to draw our attention to. Paul was faithful, consistent, a humble servant, and endured in the midst of difficulty. What a great model for us to consider and follow. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
While we may think of idolatry as a thing of the past, in reality it’s a real problem in the present. On today’s broadcast we’ll take you into Acts chapter nineteen and the account of the apostle Paul’s third missionary journey in the city of Ephesus. It was there that God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul. But the devil was at work there too. And the devil is still at work today seeking to keep you from either coming to the Lord or growing in the Lord. Though the devil is a crafty deceiver still he’s no match for the Lord! We all go through bouts of discouragement, and become fearful. Maybe that’s where you’re at today! Many are! But there is a way out. Pastor John Randall is leading us through Matthew’s gospel, and today the plan is to complete chapter nine. When you’re hit with the news that there’s no longer a place for you at work, or maybe the church you attend is under great spiritual attack it’s about that time we can become discouraged and afraid. Did you know that even prophets like Elijah, and apostles like Paul even dealt with discouragement? And God has an answer! We’ll take a look at it today on a Daily Walk. We enter Acts eighteen where we read about a time in Paul’s life when he was fearful and discouraged. And maybe that’s where you’re at today? We’re going to resume pastor John Randall’s study of Acts, as we look at chapter seventeen once again. The scene shifts to Athens today. As Paul the apostle looks around, he sees the city full of idols, and so he begins presenting just what they needed to hear... the Gospel message! And the Lord gives us many opportunities to do the same if we’re open and willing. Let’s be encouraged together to believe and then share the Gospel. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Throughout the day we talk about the weather, how our day is going, our interests and maybe even current events. But today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall will encourage us to talk about the greatest news of all. And if you’re like a lot of believers you really struggle in this area of personal evangelism. So this is much needed encouragement from Acts chapter seventeen today. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
I probably don’t have to convince you this world is messed up and upside down due to sin. We’re reminded of that virtually every time we turn on the news. Today we’ll resume our study in Acts with a look at chapter seventeen, and how the ministry of Paul and Barnabas and friends was literally turning the world upside down! I think you’d agree that really needs to happen in our world today! Would you like to be one who turns the world upside down for Jesus? Pastor John will explain how that can happen and it starts with a dependence upon the work and power of the Spirit of God! We’re in Matthew chapter 9 verses 27- 38 this weekend. Nothing can compare to the grief that follows the death of a child. It’s a parent’s worst nightmare. Or imagine being blind or demon possessed! That’s the reality for the people we’ll encounter in today’s passage. And when they met Jesus everything changed, in a good way! If you were beaten with rods, and thrown in prison for doing what God told you to do, how do you think you’d respond? If you’re like most, you might be angry or even turn bitter. Then complain about it on social media. But not Paul and Silas. We’re told they prayed and praised. God gave them a song in the night. And He can do the same for us as we suffer for the name of Christ. Today on a Daily Walk we’re looking at Acts sixteen. No doubt you’ve had this happen to you you’re absolutely confident God has called you to accept a job, or move somewhere, or begin a ministry and then suddenly the door slams shut and you no longer have a peace about it. The Lord then changes your direction and you’re left wondering what’s up! Did you really hear God correctly? Maybe you grow discouraged? Sound familiar? Today we’ll learn from the apostle Paul’s experience recorded for us in Acts sixteen. So how will you handle it next time it happens to you? As Christians we will have disagreements and conflict from time to time. And at times it can even lead to division, sad to say. But how we deal with it is very important! In fact, you might be able to resolve the conflict. Pastor John Randall opens Acts chapter fifteen! We’re at the midway point of our journey through Acts, here on a Daily Walk! We’ll join pastor John Randall in chapter fifteen today. And at this point in the early church there’s conflict and controversy. Paul and Barnabas have been doing the Lord’s work, sharing the salvation message. But now they’re facing opposition within their own ranks. We’re about to learn how to handle conflicts like these, when they arise in our Daily Walk!To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Whether it’s at the office, in school, at home or even in church we’ll face opposition and hardship. That’s usually a sign we’re on the right track. The enemy opposes the work of the Lord, and so if we’re doing what God wants us to do we’ll be opposed at some point in time. So how do we persevere? That’s the question we’ll present today on a Daily Walk. Today pastor John Randall continues our series through the book of Acts. In chapter fourteen we discover how to persevere in the midst of opposition just as Paul and Barnabus did in their missionary journey. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
If you would describe yourself as hopeless, listen to today's a Daily Walk! There is hope for the hopeless through Jesus. That comes shining through in today’s lesson on a Daily Walk. Maybe you sort of feel like Rocky Balboa today. Life is beating you down, and you don’t think you can make it another round? Pastor John Randall will give attention to Acts 13 verses 13-41, where we find Paul’s first recorded sermon. Back in the first century there were those thoroughly convinced that the way to heaven was by observing the law. That sort of thinking is still around but nothing could be further from the truth! Paul wants to make it clear that justification is by turning and trusting. Turning from your sin and trusting in Jesus alone! Simply put, we can’t be good enough to get there on our own. We’re back in the book of Acts today on a Daily Walk. What makes a good sermon? I think you’d agree there needs to be teaching from the Bible, and it would be a good idea to include the Gospel message too! Paul’s first recorded sermon features just that. It’s a survey of the Old and New Testaments up until that point in time, and also he emphasized the Gospel. It’s a powerful sermon and one we’ll look at today. Today we continue our series in the book of Acts. As we get back into chapter thirteen today, we’re following Paul and Barnabas on their first missionary journey. You might think of it as a journal of their fascinating trip. God may or may not call you to leave your home and go to a foreign land, but whether you’re in Africa, Los Angeles or New York you’re to be involved in the ministry. And like these saints of old found to be true, we can expect some opposition as we minister. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Today pastor John will continue his series through the book of Acts. As we delve into chapter thirteen today, we’re witness to Paul and Barnabas as they embark on their first missionary journey. Oh we’ve never done it that way before! Has that thought ever raced through your mind at church? Perhaps as the worship team has added some new instruments! Or the pastor is now doing the announcements at the end of service instead of the beginning! Today on a Daily Walk we’ll learn the need to be flexible in our endeavor to reach out to people, with the realization that God may want to do something new and different in this generation. Pastor John Randall will be sharing a message based on the twelfth chapter of Acts. The Lord never promised us a trouble-free life. Rather He said we should expect persecution and suffering in our daily walk. At this point in the early church tragedy strikes. James was killed and Peter thrown in prison. It’s interesting to note that the church would respond by praying. Pastor John is about to encourage us to trust in and pray to the God of the Impossible just as they did.To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
No doubt you’ve experienced this before You receive a vision or message from God and aren’t really sure what it means. Then along comes the Lord in a wonderful way to clarify and confirm things for us! That’s exactly what happens to Peter in the passage before us. Today we’ll focus our time and attention on chapters nine and ten of Acts. We’ll catchup with Peter today who is traveling from one place to another at this particular time in his life. In Lydda he encounters a paralyzed and bedridden man, and then in Joppa he’s informed that a dear lady named Tabitha has just died. What happens next for both of these people is truly amazing. Maybe you’ve been wondering lately, What is God up to in my life? Perhaps you’re going through a difficult trial, or you’ve been working at a job for years and can’t wait to move on! It could be that you’re in a season of preparation, just as Paul the apostle was. We’re so often quick to size people up and think to ourselves, Well they’re not a good fit! Some no doubt said that of the disciple we’ll meet today on a Daily Walk. Today we’re going to jump right back into our study of the book of Acts. There are many landmark events described in the Bible and this is certainly one of them in Acts chapter nine. Have you ever been setup by God? If you’re a Christian you probably have, even if you haven’t noticed it. Maybe there you are on an airplane and you’re seated next to someone who doesn’t know the Lord and God is prompting you to say something. Or perhaps you share a simple verse with someone not knowing what they’re going through and it was just what they needed to hear! Today we’ll see God setup a meeting for Phillip and it’s a wonderful example of how God works in our daily walk! To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Find your place in Acts chapter eight. Phillip has just preached the gospel in Samaria, a revival breaks out, and a large number are saved. In this midst of this great work of God Simon enters onto the scene. While many are choosing to bow in the wrong direction today, we as believers have a great opportunity to stand for Jesus. As we do, we may be persecuted like the man we’ll meet today on a Daily Walk. But know this, when we stand for Jesus, He’ll stand for us. That’s what we see in the story of Stephen in Acts chapters six and seven. Matthew Chapter eight opens with a number of healings. And these healings drew people who were impressed and inspired by the things the Lord was doing. We’re in the book of Acts right now, focusing our time and attention on chapters six and seven today! It truly is admirable when someone takes a stand for the truth when the pressure is on. We’ll meet one such man today and his name is Stephen. He was actually the first martyr of the Christian church. We’re about to hear his final sermon on his last day on earth and allow this to encourage you to take a stand for Jesus at a time in human history where it’s desperately needed! To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Murmuring and complaining the children of Israel were known for that as they traversed through the dessert. It was also a problem that threatened to split the early church! It’s there we hear of a problem that has developed in this growing church. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Are you having a bad day? Maybe things just aren’t going the way you’d like it to. Today on a Daily Walk receive some wonderful encouragement from the Scriptures. We’re told in Acts five that the apostles were severely beaten and commanded not to speak of Jesus any longer. How did they respond to this? Maybe not exactly the way you’d expect. We’re told they rejoiced and considered it an honor to suffer for the name of Christ. Pastor John Randall will urge us to carry this Christ-like attitude and response through life. Hardship and persecution comes at us at various times and in various ways. Some, like the men we’ll meet today, are beaten or have their lives threatened due to their faith in Christ! Others may be ridiculed or mocked! But how should we respond when it happens? While many resort to anger and complaining, today on a Daily Walk we’ll see that there’s good reason to rejoice in the midst of it! We take you to Acts five today. No matter what persecution comes our way we can remain faithful to God. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Make no mistake about it the Lord takes hypocrisy very seriously. In fact as we’ll see today on a Daily Walk two people died in the early church because of their premeditated hypocrisy. But let’s not just notice where they went wrong if we stop and think about it, we’ve all done the very same thing at one time or another. Pastor John believes this can serve as a wake up call to live right before the Lord. What the Lord did that day in the early church had a positive impact on the church, and He can use His Word to do the same in our lives. There are very real and powerful disasters that hit our lives from time to time. And when they do, it’s an opportunity to turn our fear into faith in God. Maybe you’ve noticed in your daily walk or service of the Lord when God is at work, Satan loves to attack! And sometimes the attack comes from unsuspecting places, like from within the church! Today on a Daily Walk we’ll notice how God’s spirit was very much at work in the early church. And you guessed it Satan is about to attack from within. Pastor John Randall is going through Acts at the present time, and today brings chapter five into focus. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
On today’s program we enter chapter four. In this section of scripture we’re looking at today, Peter has just given a God-inspired evangelistic sermon to a group of people who have observed a miraculous healing of a lame man. Thousands of people ended up surrendering their lives to God. One might expect that joy would abound, and everyone would be excited by the news. But that wasn’t the case. There was a group of religious leaders who were greatly disturbed by this! Pastor John Randall will draw attention to Peter and John’s reaction in the midst of this opposition. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Today we open the book of Acts and begin to look at a story of a man the Lord heals. The Lord gives this man far more than he could have ever imagined! It’s very encouraging to remind ourselves that our God seeks to do far more in and through our lives than we could have ever dreamed possible. Question is, are you open to being used by God? Let’s see together how God can and wants to use us in these last days.To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
When you’re on a search for a church for you and your family to be a part of, what should you look for? What is it that makes for a healthy church? We’ll pursue the answer to that question today on a Daily Walk. And the answer is wonderfully simple and laid out for us in Acts chapter two. The early church was devoted to the Word, fellowship, communion, and prayer. And pastor John Randall believes the church today should follow their example. If asked to identify a healthy church, would your mind gravitate to the one’s with the most members and programs, largest building, or that are well known? As many of you know, we’ve been making our way through the Gospel of Matthew. And we continue to do so today with a look at chapter eight. Many of us would be quick to say we have faith in Jesus. We’re in the book of Acts chapter two, which records the day the church was empowered by the Holy Spirit. You’re about to hear what took place, and it’s amazing to put it mildly! But pastor John also believes the Holy Spirit is active and working today! We need to live by the power of the Spirit if we’re to be effective and fruitful. We’re just getting started in the book of Acts. There are many wondrous events occurring in this book, from the giving of the Holy Spirit, the ascension of Christ, to the many adventures of the Apostle Paul. And pastor John Randall’s messages will help you understand not only what is going on in the early church, but also, how this can affect your life and daily walk. On today’s program, we’ll look at the latter half of chapter one, where we find four ways the disciples prepared for a greater work of the Holy Spirit in their lives. We are very excited about today’s program as we embark on a study through the book of Acts with pastor John Randall. This is an important historical book, because the christian church had its beginnings recorded here. We’ll see how it would then spread from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth. God’s chosen method to get the Gospel out is to work through His people and He not only calls us but empowers us too. Question is are you available for God’s use? Today on a Daily Walk Pastor John Randall will deliver his final message in the gospel of John. In chapter 21, the Lord will reestablish Peter into public ministry, and there are priorities that Jesus wants to establish for Peter and really all of His sheep. Along the way, we will see how the Lord goes about healing damaged relationships. And maybe you’ve strayed from the Lord and done something you’re not so proud of. The Lord would love to restore you as well! Today’s message is all about restoration! To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Today on a Daily Walk we’re on the final leg of our journey through the gospel of John, and we’ve reached chapter twenty. There’s no shortage today of what we might term, bad news! But today we’d like to turn your attention to some good news! In fact it’s the greatest news of all. How does that sound? Jesus is alive, and the tomb is empty! Pastor John Randall will show us how this reality should impact our daily walk! To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Today pastor John Randall resumes his verse by verse study in Matthew’s gospel with a visit to chapter eight. The power of Jesus is on display in this chapter. And today He’s about to heal Peter’s Mother-in-law, once again demonstrating His power over disease! Today our teacher, pastor John Randall brings us another message in his series through the gospel of John. As Jesus was hanging on the cross He gave 7 very powerful statements. We’ll consider them today with pastor John. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
As we return to John chapter eighteen today, we take a look at Jesus’ trial. But before that, a close disciple of the Lord would deny Him. We’ll examine Peter’s downward spiral, in order to help us in our Daily Walk. But failure wouldn’t be final for dear Peter. God would restore Him and there’s a wonderful message of grace we don’t want you to miss. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Today John Randall will share a message centered around the arrest of Jesus. We’ve all heard stories of unjustified arrests, but this takes the cake, He was completely innocent! To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Wouldn’t it be incredible to actually hear Jesus pray? You can and today we’ll do just that. The Lord is just a short time from the cross in John chapter 17, and he has just finished addressing his disciples. Now it’s time for a conversation with His Heavenly Father. Oh, what a joy it is to eavesdrop on this most glorious conversation! And part of His prayer was for us and all future believers! Today and tomorrow pastor John will have a look at the prayer of Jesus in John chapter seventeen. First He prayed for Himself, then the 11 apostles, and finally for future believers! There’s a lot we can learn from it and apply to our own prayer lives. So let’s join John as he looks at this beautiful prayer Jesus prayed the night before His arrest and crucifixion. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Pastor John will take us once again today to the gospel of Matthew as we look at chapter eight, verses five through twenty-seven. When you’re faced with what looks to be an impossibility questions tend to surface. Often we’re asking the wrong questions. Here’s a good question to ask, Is there anything too hard for the Lord? Keep that in the back of your mind and join pastor John as he continues through Matthew. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Peace on earth is something people by and large long for. But maybe to you, peace seems elusive! Yes many are lacking peace! I’m happy to say in the midst of sorrow and trial, we can take heart and experience peace! How is that possible in the world as we know it, or when personal tragedy strikes? Stick around for an encouraging time in the Word on a Daily Walk. Pastor John Randall takes us to John chapter sixteen. Pastor John Randall is leading us through the Gospel of John right now, and today we find Christ preparing His disciples for what was ahead of them. In just a few short hours, Jesus would be on the cross, and He would be leaving them. But He would not leave them alone, for His Holy Spirit would soon enter the scene. Just as He would help them through life, He’s our great helper too! We’ll be covering John chapter sixteen. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
In chapter fifteen of John Jesus said if we would abide in Him we would bear much fruit. And as we’ll see today, there are tremendous blessings that come to those who abide. In fact, pastor John Randall has identified eight in the passage before us today. So if you’re ready to be blessed, turn to John fifteen and let’s discover the blessings of abiding. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Those of you who have a fruit tree in the back of your yard, probably look forward to harvest time, when you can enjoy the fruit of your labor. After all the pruning, thinning, watering, and fertilizing, you should end up with something to show for it right? If the tree didn’t produce some good fruit you’d start to think something is wrong. Similarly, the Christian is to bear spiritual fruit, and when there is little or none, there is great cause for concern. Pastor John Randall takes us to John chapter fifteen where we learn about spiritual fruit from the True Vine Himself. A failing marriage, the loss of a job, a rebellious son or daughter refusing to abide by the rules of the house, sickness, and the loss of a loved one. Throughout life, there are many things that bring us down, but it’s at that time that we need to look up. In John chapter fourteen, the disciples are greatly troubled, and it’s interesting to see where Jesus directs them... right on up to their future home in heaven. Let’s seek to apply these comforting words to our lives by joining pastor John Randall. We’re talking about the remedy for a troubled heart on a Daily Walk. A troubled heart - it’s something we all encounter at one time or another. And maybe you have a heavy heart as we speak? The disciples were troubled as well, when they realized their teacher and friend was about to leave them. But I’m happy to say there is a remedy for such a condition! There’s no debating the fact that in this world of ours the majority would much rather be served than serve. That’s often the case in the church sad to say. Just look at the average church and their struggle to fill volunteer roles in the nursery, Sunday School teachers, sound ministry workers, and on and on it goes. We’ll see how greatness is built on the foundation of servanthood today on a Daily Walk as John Randall resumes his study of John. We’re about to sit in on an argument between the disciples over the question, Who’s going to be the greatest in the kingdom of God? It’s interesting how Jesus would respond, and through it all we discover a valuable lesson on what’s really important in life. And what a needed reminder for life as we know it in the year 2024. Pastor John Randall has us turn to the thirteenth chapter of John today on a Daily Walk where we see Jesus lay down a beautiful example of what a servant should look like. Many of us have run across sceptics and agnostics who claim that if they could only see visible proof of God, or some sort of sign, then they’d believe. Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall will show us that even after Jesus had performed many signs, there were still those that wouldn’t believe. Which just goes to show you, that even when many people see signs and wonders- they often still reject Jesus. We’ll see a number of reasons people don’t believe in John chapter twelve. It’s a good time to consider our own spiritual state. Are you living in darkness and need to repent and trust in Christ? If you knew you only had a few hours to live, what would you do for those last precious moments? A Lot of people would probably enjoy a big meal, travel or spend time with family. When Jesus Christ knew that the time had come for Him to be arrested and crucified, what did He do? He prays that the Father would be glorified! One of the best ways to understand the heart of Jesus Christ is to look at the things He did in the last hours of His life, when He knew He was about to be crucified. Let’s do that with pastor John. Today on a Daily Walk our teacher, pastor John Randall will present a message on false prophets and teachers. This teaching is based on the Sermon on the Mount, in Matthew chapter seven. False teachers are certainly prevalent today as they were in Jesus’ day. Christ warns us that these false prophets are ravenous wolves in sheep’s clothing. That should serve as a wake-up call to every believer to learn to tell the difference from a true man of God and a ravenous wolf. Today we’ll discover that to learn a man’s intent, you need look no further than his life, and the fruit he bears. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
As some of you know, we’re going through the gospel of John right now, and today we’ll stop to have dinner with Jesus. In chapter twelve Mary pours a very expensive perfume on the feet of Jesus. While some would view this as a waste, Jesus saw it for what it truly was worship! To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Today on a Daily Walk we find Jesus going through the most difficult rejection prior to going to the cross. One of His disciples sold him out, a close friend denies Him, and the religious leaders turn against Him. He would go to the cross alone. But none of this would deter Him or set Him off course.

We’re learning how to become a worshipper of Jesus today on A Daily Walk, with pastor John Randall. And a great example of true worship is found in Mark chapter fourteen. Right now we’re in the beginning stages of our journey through Matthew, with pastor John Randall. Today we recall the birth of our Savior, but we’ll be doing so through the perspective of Joseph. Even the casual observer recognizes there’s a lot going on right now relating to end times prophecy! It’s becoming increasingly clear, the Lord could return very soon. Today we get back into the Olivet Discourse in Mark chapter thirteen. Here Jesus is asked a couple of questions by His disciples, one of which we’ll look at today that has to do with the timing of the second coming of Christ. All the signs around us are very clear, we’re living in the last days. The Lord is going to return, and the rapture is even closer. We’re going to open our Bibles once again today to the gospel of Mark. We’ll meet you in chapter ten. Here we run across a man that by the world’s standards had it all. He was young, wealthy, and was a man of great stature too. But there was something missing in his life, and it’s the greatest thing of all. And perhaps today you feel empty and something is missing? Allow the Lord to speak to you as only He can, through His Word. We’re talking about what it takes to get to heaven.

You’ve picked a good day to join us. Here at a Daily Walk we’re beginning a study in Matthew. Won’t you join us as we do? In your study of the Scriptures you’ve no doubt encountered the many genealogies. And perhaps you glossed right over it, thinking there’s not much to take away from it. Here on A Daily Walk, pastor John Randall will take us to Mark chapter ten, where the subject at hand is marriage and divorce and raising our kids for Christ. It’s not hard to see the impact the breakdown of the family has had. When a couple chooses to go their separate ways, there are long lasting consequences. But God didn’t intend for it to be this way. His desire is that we have a healthy home, and a thriving marital relationship.

Mark chapter ten is about as contemporary as it gets, as it deals with a problem that is prevalent to say the least. Back in the first century, men were divorcing their wives left and right. Sound familiar? The Pharisees of that day asked Jesus if that was lawful. We’ll see what our Lord had to say on the matter here on this edition of A Daily Walk as pastor John Randall returns to his series in Mark.

Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall encourages us to work toward unity. After all we’re on the same team, worshipping the same God. That’s the message Jesus seeks to get across to His disciples in Mark chapter nine, and we’d do well to take it to heart.

Today we derive great encouragement from Mark chapter nine, where Jesus not only dealt with the needs of His disciples, but performed several miracles as well. He took Peter, James and John with Him up to a high mountain and was transfigured before them. He also later encountered a desperate father who had a boy that was demon possessed. Maybe that’s where you’re at today desperate? Let’s be encouraged to take that to Jesus, and see what He can do!

Many of us have wondered what it will be like to see God as He is. We’re told, as Christians, that will be a reality one day in heaven. The Christian life is far from easy and at times people will even question what we’re doing because it seems illogical. But the reward for determining to follow Jesus is far greater than anything we leave behind! Today on a Daily Walk we’ll take a look at the difficult path the Lord calls us to. Pastor John Randall will be in Mark chapter eight, and verses 22-38. Here we find another miracle performed by Jesus, featuring a blind man from Bethsaida. Compassionate and loving, we see that demonstrated time and time again in the life and ministry of Christ whether it was to a person individually or to a multitude of people. We’ll see some more examples of that today. Jesus healed the sick and fed the multitudes! And these were clear signs of who He is - and what He’s all about. But He also set aside time with His disciples to teach them valuable lessons. Pastor John Randall has an eye on Mark chapters seven and eight.

John Randall is currently leading us through the gospel of Mark. This account of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ contains many relevant lessons for us. Today we're in Mark chapter six. John the Baptist was the forerunner of Christ, sent ahead to prepare the way for the Lord. All around the world Christians are being persecuted for their faith, and we’re even seeing that here in America in growing measure. But remember Jesus said In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world! As we look together at the death of John the Baptist, and how he was faithful even to the very end of his life, allow this to encourage your heart today. We take another look at the Sermon on the Mount, today on a Daily Walk with pastor John Randall. Maybe you’ve noticed sin sure looks worse on others than it does in ourselves. We’re quick to point the finger and say, oh how could they. But we overlook our own faults. As we open up Matthew seven Jesus makes it clear we’re not to judge hypocritically. Pastor John Randall is currently leading us through the Gospel of Mark. At the end of chapter four, the disciples find themselves in a big storm. Throughout His earthly ministry Jesus used stories that His audience could identify with in order to help them understand a heavenly truth. They’re called parables. We’re about to encounter one such parable today, and it’s one of the best known of all shared by the Lord. The parable of the sower really is designed to get us to think about the condition of our own heart, so let’s do that together.

In the sermon on the mount, The Lord said, Judge not, lest you be judged. It’s become one of the most misused and misunderstood statements ever uttered by Jesus. You’ll hear that phrase often invoked to excuse all sorts of bad behavior. But is that an accurate usage of the Lord’s words? Is Jesus saying, we’re to refrain from exercising discernment? Pastor John Randall doesn’t think so. And he’ll show us why as he continues a study in the Sermon on the Mount.

When we have a problem we naturally want to try to come up with a solution. But what do you do when it’s totally out of your control and you’re out of options? Today on a Daily Walk we’ll see that we’re all sinners and that’s a problem we can’t solve on our own though many have tried. Thankfully Jesus has solved our sin problem for us. He is a Savior for sinners. Pastor John Randall will highlight that for us through a study in Mark chapter two. In this passage Jesus is confronted by the religious leaders of His day.

Let’s say you’re being asked to put a team together at work, what do you typically look for? Perhaps the best and brightest in the field, or most popular! But it’s interesting to observe who Jesus choose to be His disciples! People you might not expect fishermen and a tax collector just to name a few. And that should encourage all of us, that no matter what our background, education or ability God can still use us in a mighty way. Let’s look together at the calling of Matthew, today on a Daily Walk, as we join pastor John Randall in Mark chapter two.

Today pastor John Randall opens Mark chapter two. It describes the miraculous story of four men bringing their paralytic friend to Jesus. As you look at all that they went through, and the obstacles they overcame, it’s truly inspirational. Jesus took notice of their faith, and so too should we! Along the way we’ll consider the question, what would we be willing to do, to bring a friend to Jesus?

We’re making our way through Mark’s gospel. Today we’ll observe the healing of a paralytic. Maybe you’re in need of healing today physically or spiritually? Let’s see what the Lord can do in our lives, as we come to Him in faith.

Anxiety is a real problem for many of us. Just look at the rising use of anti-anxiety medication as evidence of that. And maybe that’s something that you deal with? When it happens, what should you do? Let’s talk about that today on a Daily Walk with pastor John Randall. John will address the cause and the cure for anxiety, as we visit the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew six.

The plan today is to finish Mark chapter one. If you’ll recall, Jesus has just spent some alone time with the heavenly Father in prayer. Right on the heels of this devotional time, came an opportunity for ministry! Today we’ll be introduced to a leper who Jesus encounters and his life would never be the same as a result. We’ll notice how he came to the Lord and how we can too!

So how’s your devotional life going? If you’re like many, you’d probably say, it’s not where it should be! We’d do well to do some self-examination and if need be make a commitment to daily time in prayer and the Word. And that’s modeled for us by Jesus in Mark chapter one. Today on a Daily Walk we’ll notice how Jesus took time out early in the day to get alone with the Father. Pastor John Randall believes this is essential if we’re to be effective in life and ministry.

Pastor John Randall is in the early going of his study of the Gospel of Mark and it’s been quite a blessing learning about the beginning of Jesus’ ministry in Galilee. Imagine there you are in church. Jesus is in the middle of an amazing teaching, and then a demon possessed man suddenly cries out and disrupts the service! Then Jesus commands the demon to come out of him and he does! I think it’s safe to say we’d be in awe! That’s essentially what happened in the story we’ll bring before you today.

Are you following Jesus? The early disciples made that choice, and we pray you will too if you haven’t already! Today on a Daily Walk we consider who is King of our lives. We join pastor John Randall in Mark chapter one and discover the joy and blessing of following Jesus! You’re about to hear the calling of the disciples as well as the very beginning of Jesus’ ministry.

Whether you’re pastoring a church, a small group leader, or a missionary on a foreign land the ministry you’re involved in should be all about Jesus! If it’s not, you’re off track! Today we give attention to the life and ministry of John the Baptist. It’s not hard to see, he was sold out to Christ and his ministry focus was all about Christ. Talk about a great model for us today to follow! We’re in Mark chapter one.

Anxiety and worry - it’s an everyday part of life for many Americans. Join us for a Daily Walk as we have another look at the Sermon on the Mount and hear what Jesus has to say on the subject.

Today we embark on a new series in the book of Mark. As the second book in the New Testament, the Book of Mark is also the shortest of the four gospels. Mark doesn’t go into the same detail the other three gospel writers do, but he has a unique and important message to convey about the amazing life of Jesus. And presents Him as the Suffering Servant!

Today pastor John Randall will conclude his verse by verse study through Matthew. If you’ve been with us for every broadcast, you have studied in depth the greatest life ever led - that of the Lord Jesus Christ. And of course, the story has a happy ending because there is no ending - He rose from the grave and is preparing a place for you and me in Heaven!

As we’ve studied Matthew over the past few days, we’ve seen the pain and humiliation Jesus experienced on the cross. The good news is that no crucifixion, no spear in His side, no burial in a tomb could defeat Him! He is risen! That’s the theme of Matthew chapter twenty-eight.

We’re going to return to Matthew twenty-seven today, as we near the end of our series through this wonderful account of the Lord’s life. And you’re about to hear a detailed description of all that Jesus suffered at the cross, and even before it, taking on the punishment our sins deserved. It was His great love for mankind that drove Him to do this. Keep that in mind as you listen.

We near the end of our verse by verse journey through Matthew. And we come to the climax of the story of Christ, where Jesus does what He came to do, dying on the cross for our sins. But what led up to this is also significant.

Financial experts have varying opinions when it comes to investing, but most will agree on the principle of diversification. In other words, Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket. However, when it comes to storing up heavenly treasures, that doesn’t apply. We need only invest in heavenly stock, and this wise investment will lead to eternal spiritual dividends. We’ll examine our relationship to what we have today on a Daily Walk. Pastor John Randall is currently teaching from the Sermon on the Mount, in Matthew six.

If you’re a regular listener, you know that we’ve been spending a good deal of time in the gospel of Matthew. Just part of our through the Bible study. Today pastor John Randall will share a message centered around the arrest and trials of Jesus. We’ve all heard stories of unjustified arrests, but this takes the cake, He was completely innocent and yet allowed it all to happen!

We’ll be in the gospel of Matthew chapter 26. Jesus is on the road to the cross and about to be arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane. It would be right here that He would be betrayed by one of His disciples. If you’ve ever been betrayed by someone close to you, well you know how awful that is! Few things in life are as painful as that. Let’s see how Jesus handled it all!

If you’re a regular listener, you know we’ve spent several months going verse by verse through the gospel of Matthew. We’ve now reached a pivotal section in this account of the Lord’s earthly life and ministry. In chapter sixteen we have a very touching scene where Mary is worshipping at the feet of Jesus. While some were critical of her, Jesus saw it for what it truly was pure worship. And it should inspire us all to do the same.

Happy fourth of July from all of us at A Daily Walk, with pastor John Randall. It’s on this day that we enjoy fireworks, barbecues and parades. But more importantly we celebrate our nation’s freedom through the passage of the Declaration of Independence. It's fitting I think on a day like this that we pause to consider the greatest freedom that we enjoy as Christians, secured for us by Jesus on the cross. Freedom from sin and to enjoy a life with Christ forever. Turn with us to Matthew chapter 26, as pastor John recalls the great sacrifice by our Savior to secure that freedom for us and the proper response to it worship.

Today on a Daily Walk we give attention to a couple of powerful parables spoken by our Lord in Matthew chapter 25. Jesus is coming again at a time when it’s not expected, and we’re to be ready for it! Part of being ready involves using what God has given us for His glory and the Kingdom of God. Question is, what are you doing with what you’ve been given by God? Are you faithful and are you ready?

Today John Randall will bring us another message from his series through Matthew’s gospel. We all know the Boy Scout motto, Be prepared. Let’s get ready, as we join pastor John in Matthew 25.

Pastor John Randall will bring us another challenging message from God’s word today as we continue our study through Matthew. We’ll pay another visit to the Olivet Discourse in chapter 24 today. If you’ll recall this is Jesus’ response to His disciples’ question concerning when the Temple would be destroyed, when the end of the age would occur, and when His second coming would take place and His Kingdom be established. But today we want to pause and consider how we are to live in light of what of what we’ve been made aware of.

Maybe like many you’ve wondered, what will the second coming of Christ look like, and when will it occur? The disciples of Christ wondered about that too, and posed a similar question to Jesus. Today we’ll jump right back into our verse by verse study through the gospel of Matthew. Summer is officially here, and there are signs we look for that tell us it is here, like warmer weather. There are also signs we should be aware of that tell us we are living in the last days before the return of Christ. Do you know what they are? Jesus tells us in Matthew twenty-four to know the signs and be prepared.

Has this thought crossed your mind in recent years, We’re getting close to the end? What does the Bible have to say about the time of the end? Are there signs to be looking for as that day approaches? In Matthew chapter twenty-four, Jesus gave some specific signs of His second coming and the end of the age to His disciples. He did this for some very good reasons. He wanted them to be ready, and He wanted them to know the truth, so they would not be deceived by false teachers.

Pastor John Randall is about to open Matthew six, and return to his series on the Sermon on the Mount. We’re taking some extra time looking at what we might say is a model for prayer, given by Jesus to His disciples. It starts with worship, then goes into petitions, and then ends with worship.

We’ll be in Matthew chapter 23 today if you want to find your place there now. Jesus is in the last week of His earthly ministry and conveying some important things to His disciples before He would leave them. In this passage He takes time out to point out the hypocrisy in the religious leaders. Essentially saying, don’t be like them! They were putting on a good show, but we’re not practicing what they preached.

Today we dive right back into our through the Bible series. In Matthew chapter 23 Jesus points out the great hypocrisy in the Pharisees. They were all about showing off, doing what they did to be seen by men. And they certainly didn’t practice what they preached. Pastor John observes the same sort of behavior in much of the world today in his message, The Woes of Religion!

Today we’ll continue John’s verse by verse series through Matthew with a stop in chapter twenty-two. Once again we see the religious leaders of the day up to no good trying to trap Jesus with questions. Pastor John Randall is our teacher, and today John takes us to Matthew chapter twenty-one. When we think of Jesus, pictures of loving, gentle, meek and mild may flash into our minds. But today we’ll see a different side to our Lord. He actually got very upset, and for good reason. People were being taken advantage of in the Temple. Could we be guilty of the very same thing? We’re working our way through the Bible with pastor John Randall leading the way. And today we plan to finish Matthew chapter eighteen. They’re some of the hardest words to say, I forgive you! Especially after you’ve experienced great hurt. But when you do forgive, you’re never more like Jesus, who forgave us a debt that we could never pay. But as we’ll see in our study today, Jesus has His eye on more than just our outward actions. He’s also concerned with why we’re doing what we’re doing, and even how we do it!

Maybe you’ve noticed sin sure looks worse on others than it does in ourselves. We’re quick to point the finger and say, Oh how could they. But we overlook our own faults. As we open up Matthew seven Jesus makes it clear we’re not to judge hypocritically. And before you confront someone, make sure you take care of what’s going on in your own life.To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
We’ve come to the seventh chapter of Matthew - where Jesus takes on the subject of judging others and the importance of being gracious in our dealings with people. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29

Pastor John Randall is in the early stages of a series in the Song of Solomon. In the first few verses of chapter one the Shulamite woman is confessing her love to Solomon. She’s basically saying there’s nothing like it, and it goes way beyond physical attraction to the inner character. Pastor John will relate this to what we should be looking for in a spouse, but also God’s love for us! To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Do you enjoy a good love story or love song? Most of us do. But much of the time the picture that we’re given of love and romance in the world is diametrically opposed to what we find in Scripture. Today on a Daily Walk we begin a helpful series of studies based on the Song of Solomon. Now if you want an accurate picture of love and romance, that’s the book to turn to! Some feel as though their best days are behind them, but for the Christian the best is yet to come! Hear about your future home in heaven as you join us for a Daily Walk. We pay a visit to Revelation chapter twenty-two today. If you’ll recall last time we were looking at a description of the New Jerusalem and we noticed the outside of the city. In this chapter we’re given a tour on the inside. And it’s enough to take your breath away!
How does God feel about it, how can we avoid it? Those are just a couple of key questions pastor John Randall will address in this our final study of Romans on a Daily Walk. We’re just about finished with our study of Romans. In the sixteenth and final chapter Paul makes mention of a number of people he served the Lord with and considered very dear friends! He very much loved and appreciated them. And pastor John Randall will take a look at each of them today. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Pastor John Randall is nearing the completion of his study in Romans. We’ll finish up chapter fifteen today and next time. Maybe you’re the type of person that likes to plan ahead, set your goals and set out to achieve them. There’s nothing wrong with that. In fact the apostle Paul was a planner too. But there are some important things to keep in mind along the journey. Like expect some hindrances and opposition! To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
We’re nearing the end of our studies in Romans. And as we do, we’re getting to know the apostle Paul on a personal level. He writes in this letter to the church in Rome, about why he does what he does and the recognition that he’s only an instrument in God’s hands. We can learn a lot from Paul’s example, as he shares his goals, plans and even a bit about the opposition he faced. Since heaven is to be our eternal home we ought to prepare for it and cultivate what the bible calls a heavenly mind as we journey here on earth. Today’s a Daily Walk will help us with that. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
We’ll be entering into a more personal and biographical section of Romans today, and glean insight on Paul’s heart for the Church in Rome! We’ll discover why he was so effective as a leader, teacher and preacher of the gospel. He made it his aim to be pleasing to the Lord, and sought to glorify the Lord. Pastor John Randall suggests we follow in those footsteps. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Pastor John Randall will return to Romans today. You’ve probably noticed, not everyone in the church shares the same opinions as you do. They have certain personal preferences, that you don’t have. Or perhaps they were raised differently than you were, and think differently as a result. That’s ok! And today, pastor John emphasizes how we’re to work towards unity in matters of opinion or doubtful things. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
There are some things the Bible is very clear about you shouldn’t steal, lie or commit adultery for instance. But then there’s another area we might classify as doubtful things. The Bible doesn’t say one way or the other what we’re to do. Like, what color should the carpet be in the church, or should I drive a luxury or economy car ? We’re free to have differences of opinion over these doubtful things, but we must never divide over it. Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall encourages us to work towards unity with Romans chapter fifteen in view.To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
It’s not hard to see, our nation is divided. While that’s the case in the world, it shouldn’t be in the church. Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall encourages us to work through our differences and work toward unity. You can be sure, you’ll encounter some with a different opinion or conviction than you. But when it comes to doubtful things, well there’s no need to divide! And it’s an opportunity to love. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
One of the difficulties we face as Christians is the differing views on the so-called grey areas or liberties, things that God’s word does not specifically address! Maybe you’ve noticed, not every Christian shares the same opinions as you, and we may have different convictions. But that doesn’t mean we should be dividing over it. We’re about to continue in the book of Romans today on a Daily Walk! As we do we are reminded that while God’s commands are to be obeyed, one of them is to not condemn our brother or sister who practice their God given liberties or have different convictions than we do. Today we take a tour of a Holy City that will come down from heaven and the apostle John is our tour guide. Most of us have experienced this we’ve overslept and missed an important appointment or didn’t end up where we were supposed to be as a result. Sadly many Christians are asleep spiritually, and are missing out on something good! As we’ll see today on a Daily Walk it’s time to wake-up! We’re in the last days, and Jesus is coming soon. With that in mind, we need to be ready and we need to be loving others. Pastor John Randall will sound the alarm as he turns to Romans chapter thirteen starting at verse nine.To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Maybe you’ve noticed there’s no shortage of haters in the world as we know it! Spend a few minutes on social media and see for yourself. Today on a Daily Walk we’ll see how the Christian is to stand out by being loving! Why should we love, who should we love, and how are we to love those are just a few questions we’ll set out to answer now with pastor John Randall. Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall examines the biblical role of government, and our God-given response to those in authority! As we study Romans thirteen we discover that government plays a very important role in our lives, and we’re to be respectful and obey. But are there times when we are to refuse to submit to the government? Where do we draw the line? We could turn to Daniel for starters, to help us answer that.To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
As Christians our primary allegiance is to Christ and we know we’re to follow His Word. But what is our responsibility to the government around us? And is there ever a point in which we refuse to abide by the laws of the land? We’re looking at the Christian and our civic responsibility today on a Daily Walk. It’s part of pastor John Randall’s new study of Romans. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
As this world gets darker by the minute, the Christian is to stand out as a light in a dark world! What does that look like? In the book of Genesis we read about the Garden of Eden, and some of us have wondered, How great would that be to experience paradise on earth! Well if you’re a Christian that’s in your future. You see, after Jesus returns, paradise will be restored on planet earth for 1,000 years. What’s it going to be like? You’re about to find out today on a Daily Walk as pastor John Randall opens Revelation chapter twenty. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Whether it’s at a birthday, Christmas or graduation we’re accustomed to giving and receiving gifts. I think you’d agree it would be rather disappointing to have given a gift to someone and later find out it was never used or put away in storage somewhere. Now God gives each of His children spiritual gifts but sadly many Christians never put them to use. Imagine how that makes the Lord feel? Pastor John Randall returns to his study of Romans here on a Daily Walk and we’ll be focusing on chapter twelve... one of a few spots in Scripture that list the spiritual gifts. All Christians have been given gifts, and let’s see how to use them to glorify God. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Whether we’re helping someone get their groceries every now and then, caring for babies in the nursery, or helping teach a Sunday School class, God can use us in powerful ways. Question is are you putting the gifts He’s given you to use? God wants to use us and what a privilege that is when you stop to think of it. One hundred percent commitment and surrender to God may sound to some like an unreasonable demand. But when you consider the countless mercies our God has lavished upon us it’s the only worthy response. And we’ll focus on those mercies and our response to them today on a Daily Walk. We’re making our way through the book of Romans and we’ve come to a new section with a new emphasis. From chapter twelve to the end of the book we find an in-depth teaching on the practical response of the believer to the previous eleven chapters. Chapter twelve verse one features an exhortation to total commitment. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Pastor John Randall will rejoin us in a moment, and we’ll be continuing his series in Romans. As we finish chapter eleven today, Paul is pointing out that God is not done with Israel. He’s looked at the past, present and future to build that case. John Randall will encourage us today, that just as God has a plan for Israel, He has a plan for us too. In the courtroom we’re accustomed to seeing both the plaintiff and the defendant make their case before the judge. All the evidence is laid out. And on occasion there’s what we might refer to as an open-and-shut case. Meaning it’s easily decided because the facts are clear. That’s what we find here in Romans eleven. The apostle Paul is making a very strong case that God isn’t done with the nation of Israel. We’re about to hear his closing arguments on a Daily Walk. We have a very interesting program in store for you today on a Daily Walk as we move on to chapter twenty in our study through the book of Revelation. After the rapture of the church, the seven-year Tribulation, and return of Christ, we’re told that Jesus will reign in His Kingdom. The cool thing is, if you’re a believer, you’ll rule and reign with Christ! What will that be like and when will it occur? Pastor John Randall will share some thoughts today. Pastor John Randall has an eye on Romans chapter eleven today, where the future for the nation of Israel is brought to light. Some wonder today if God has forgotten about His people. Others suggest the Jews have been replaced by the church. But this chapter in Romans makes it clear God isn’t done with Israel, and they have a glorious future. The apostle Paul proves this point, through several testimonies including his own.
As you’ll soon see, the future is bright for Israel. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
Pastor John Randall is knee deep in his study of Romans. We’ll be in chapters ten and eleven today. If you’re a believer, you have a testimony! Whether it’s for our family, our job, ministry or life in general, we need vision from the Lord. But how do you obtain that? Most of us really struggle with patience. It’s usually on full display for all to see during rush hour traffic, or when the grocery line is more than three people! If so, please keep listening as pastor John Randall visits Romans chapter nine.To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29
In your study of the Bible have you encountered something that left you scratching your head and in the end couldn’t quite make sense of it? I think we’ve all been there. And today on a Daily Walk we encounter one such head scratcher. Pastor John Randall makes it clear today that we have a limited understanding this side of heaven, and we need to be ok with that. At times we don’t fully understand God’s choices and ways. But one thing is for sure God is good and can be trusted. As believers in Christ we look forward to the day we’re in heaven, when every tear will be wiped away. There’ll be no more suffering, sickness, or death. Maybe this would describe you you’re a Christian, but when temptation to sin comes at you, you fail time and time again. It’s a struggle, and you’re not quite sure how to get a handle on it! Even the apostle Paul experienced this battle between the flesh and the spirit. Every believer does.
Today Pastor John Randall will bring us a message about the return of Christ. Yes Jesus is coming again, and it will look much different than His first coming. You can be, and John Randall will explain how on today's program.
Let’s see what he has to say about Occasional Sin.To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1368/29

How concerned are you about holiness? Some aren’t concerned at all about it, others go way overboard into unnecessary strictness, and still others have their own code of conduct! We’ll find great insight on sanctification and holiness in Romans chapter six here on a Daily Walk!

As Christians we all have a lot to be thankful for, not the least of which is the wonderful place God has prepared for us called Heaven. In our verse by verse study through Revelation, we reach chapter nineteen today. After all of the wrath and destruction we’ve read about in the last few chapters, we finally get to the really good news here in chapter nineteen.

In the minutes ahead of us, you’re going to see how the decisions they made had an impact on all of us!

Peace, joy, hope, grace we recognize those as blessings right away but have you ever thought of Tribulation as a blessing? We can actually triumph in our trials through the faithfulness of God, and we’ll explain why here on a Daily Walk! Pastor John Randall is spotlighting some of the many blessings of justification. God has blessed us beyond measure, and after listening today, I think you’ll be left with even more gratitude to God than you already have. A great study to get us all ready for Thanksgiving!

We’ll once again be looking at the faith of Abraham. As we learned last time, Abraham believed God could do the impossible and he had hope in a hopeless situation. That’s not all! Pastor John makes a few more observations about the faith of Abraham, and it relates it to our Daily Walk!

Soon we'll celebrate with friends and family, at the Thanksgiving Dinner table. It’s fun to celebrate with a feast, remembering the good things God has done. And today on a Daily Walk we’ll look forward to a beautiful gathering with Jesus. It’s a glorious celebration and you can be a part of it. We’ll hear all about it, and what we can expect at this wedding feast, as we join pastor John Randall in Revelation chapter nineteen.

Today we’re going to recall the faith of Abraham. As you’ll soon see, he believed God could to the impossible and had hope in the midst of a hopeless situation. And maybe the timing in all this couldn’t be better, as the circumstances surrounding you are screaming It’s impossible or there’s no hope! See what God has to say to us about that, as you join pastor John Randall in Romans chapter four.

There are a large number of people today that are under the illusion that they can gain a right standing with God through their good behavior. Ask them a question like, Are you going to heaven when you die? And they might say something like, I think so, I’m a pretty good person. Today we open our Bibles to Romans chapter four, and see the truth about our salvation. We’re all made righteous through trust in Christ alone, and not by anything we have done.

Pastor John Randall will explore this liberating truth of how God not only saved Abraham by faith apart from works but really all of us!

Today we’re going to unwrap the beautiful doctrine of salvation. We’re guilty sinners, with no way to become righteous on our own. But God provided a solution to our problem. While being Just, He at the same time justifies the guilty sinner through the work of Jesus on the cross.

Pastor John Randall is taking us through Romans one verse at a time, and we visit chapter three once again today. Verses 21-31 describe the doctrine of salvation. We’ve learned previously that it’s impossible for us to live up to the standard of the law. We’re all sinners, and can’t possibly earn our way into heaven. So where does that leave us? Is there any hope? I’m glad to say there is, in Jesus. And Romans makes that clear. We’re justified freely by grace.

In the Great Tribulation the world will be at a place where it esteems commercialism and materialism higher than the voice of God. And doesn’t that sound familiar to our day? God will eventually say enough is enough, and destroy this commercial system. When all this goes down, there will be quite a striking difference in the reaction between heaven and earth, as we’re about to see. Pastor John Randall frames today’s talk around Revelation eighteen, where we find the destruction of commercial Babylon.

Are you among the many who feel you have to do more than just believe in Jesus and receive His free gift of salvation? Consider this - what more could be done than what Jesus has already done? I’m reminded of the hymn that proclaims. All to Him I owe - sin has left a crimson stain - He washes white as snow. I suspect the writer of that familiar verse - could have received some inspiration from Romans chapter three - the passage in front of us today. And for some inspiration of our own join Pastor John Randall as he focuses on the depravity of man, and the answer to our problem.

In his letter to the Romans, Paul was adamant about our position in Christ, that we are saved by grace and grace alone. He declared that our status here on earth - social or otherwise - has absolutely no bearing on our position in heaven. This was a hard lesson for the Jews to grasp, as they were taught to regard their status as higher than the lowly Gentiles around them. Grab that Bible of yours and open it up to Romans chapter two and follow along with us as John Randall shows us that nothing can save us apart from Christ.

Have you ever gone in front of a mirror and used that mirror to wash the dirt off of you? Of course not. The law is much like a mirror, it can only show us our sin, it can’t cleanse us of it. Yet too many seek to live under the law expecting they can perform it. That only leads to hypocrisy and judgmentalism. There’s a better way - a way that actually works! Today on a Daily Walk we take you to Romans chapter two and see together what that is.

Maybe you’ve noticed, we’re pretty good at making excuses to justify our bad behavior. But we’re all too quick to come down hard on others who do the very same thing. This sort of self-deception and self-righteousness was present in the heart of the people we’ll read about today in Romans chapter two. Pastor John Randall is in the early stages of a new series in Romans. And it’s been emphasizing that we’re made right with God by faith in the finished work of Jesus on the cross.

We’re told in Revelation that Commercial Babylon, an economic system and political structure, will be destroyed! Who is it? Stay tuned for an enlightening study in the Word on a Daily Walk! The world calls out to us with its amusements and attractions. And it is powerful - so we must be on our guard. It’s our tendency to fall for the unceasing advertising campaign of the world and before long we’re loaded down with its trinkets. Wouldn’t you like to know how to not get taken in by it? We’ll point the way today on a Daily Walk.

Sin is not to be trifled with because it’s a powerful force that wreaks havoc. God would have us avoid the great harm and instead experience the freedom and fulfillment that only comes by living according to His truth. Turn if you would to the book of Romans. We’re about to hear the steps downward in the depravity of man.

Maybe you’ve noticed, there’s a concentrated effort today to suppress the truth, or hold it down! Attempt to share God’s truth in this environment and you might get this reply Well that’s your truth, not mine! But today on the program we’ll see what this sort of behavior really leads to, and it’s not pretty. Pastor John will be covering Romans chapter one, and we’ll begin at verse seventeen.

Here we are on Halloween, and the holidays are right around the corner! But maybe you haven’t really given much thought as this season being an opportunity to speak of the gospel message to our friends and family. It may be when someone knocks on our door asking for candy, at the family dinner table, or as we’re standing in line at the store. Question is will you hold back because of fear, or step out in faith and courage? Today on a Daily Walk we’ll be encouraged by a man who was unashamed of the gospel, because he realized it is the power of God unto salvation.

There are quite a number of religions in the world today. Statistics tell us that Islam is growing in great numbers. Buddhism is very popular too. Actually there are only two belief systems in this world belief in Jesus, or belief in a false religion. As we study Revelation seventeen today, keep that in mind, because as we see the judgment of Mystery Babylon, we notice the results of mankind's decision to follow and worship the antichrist instead of Jesus Christ.

Pastor John Randall is leading a study of Romans. We’ll be covering the first seven verses today which really uncovers Paul’s heart for the church at Rome. He was thinking of them, praying for them, and longing to see them. Pastor John says that’s reminiscent of how Jesus sees His church!

Today the plan is to complete our study of the book of Genesis! We’ve seen in the closing chapters how God can bring about good even when others have meant evil. It’s truly remarkable how Joseph became God’s instrument to bring about so many good things despite the tremendous difficulty and suffering he faced. In fact the suffering and difficulty became the very tools in God’s hands to mold and to make Joseph into a man greatly used.

When someone is about to die, and know it’s coming, typically they want to share what’s on their heart with those they love. And those last words can be deeply meaningful to those left behind. In today’s study we are approaching the end of Jacob’s life and so he will call his sons to pronounce a blessing upon them and prophesy of things to come. We’ll look in particular at what he has to say to Joseph.

If I was to ask you to call out by name all of the different religions of the world, I’m sure you’d be hard pressed to think of even a fraction of them. That’s because there are over 4,200! But as we’ll learn today on a Daily Walk Christianity stands apart from all the rest, and actually there will be an end to false religion! That’s predicted in Revelation seventeen, and that’s where we’re headed on a Daily Walk.

That’s why it is so critical to have right beliefs that are in accordance with God’s word and His plan for your life. This is illustrated in the family of Jacob. Our teacher pastor John Randall offers great hope to families today from Genesis 45. In a day when so many are estranged from one another because of marital failure, mistreatment by one another and a host of other reasons - hope of ever being made whole is bleak. But if God can save and restore the family of Jacob - He can restore any family - even yours! In those times when it’s nearly impossible to keep it together what an encouragement to hear of God’s great power to save and restore. Our teacher John Randall heads back to the book of Genesis today. One of the more apparent lessons to be found in Genesis is how God can bring about change in a life that seems unchangeable. This demonstrates God’s power - His grace- and is greatly encouraging in a day when the love of many grows cold. Today we’ll hear not only of how Judah is changed, but also of Jacob having a change of heart too.

We say it often around here, in Christ you never walk alone! And that’s emphasized yet again today! In recent programs we’ve been looking in some detail at Joseph’s life story. You’ll recall he was thrown in a pit, sold into slavery, and would later be put into prison to no fault of his own. But through it all God was with Him, and now the tables have turned. Joseph is now second in command over all of Egypt, and about to encounter his brothers once again.

Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall heads back to Genesis. And we’re learning about the life and times of Joseph. Joseph was sold into slavery by his own brothers, yet never lost his focus and remained faithful to God wherever the Lord placed him. Abraham serves as a great example to us in his journey of faith. But he wasn’t perfect, and had his moments where he got off track. Join John and hear how this journey of faith begins.

Throughout history man has attempted to get to God on his own... but each attempt fails miserably. We’ll soon see that false religion dates back to a tower called Babel. This was a city built for man’s glory, certainly not God’s.... pride was its foundation... and destruction was its destination. Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall returns to his verse by verse study of Genesis and takes us deeper into chapter 11.

Pastor John Randall is leading us through an exciting study in Genesis! Not long ago we explored what happened when God judged the world with a flood. Now it’s time to repopulate the world and we will see who our forefather’s were. Join Pastor John in the tenth chapter of the book of Genesis as we bring you part one of The Table and Tower.

Today we’ll pay a visit to Revelation chapter thirteen. Here we get a glimpse of the coming global leader, also known as the antichrist. This person who will commandeer the reigns of world power will have very distinct characteristics, and it certainly can’t hurt us to know what they are.

Last time we were together we examined the world-wide flood. Now today we turn to chapter eight and the storm is over. It’s time for Noah, his family and the animals to step off the Ark and onto dry land. What does Noah do next? He worships the Lord. What a good example to us of what not only to do after the storm, but in the midst of it too.

Today pastor John Randall resumes his chapter by chapter study of Genesis. We’ll be covering chapters eight and nine during today’s program. Noah, his family, and the animals have been cooped up in the ark for just over a year. The rain has stopped, the waters are reseeding, and it’s just about time to step out on dry land. That’s where we’ll pick the story up today.

Have you ever felt that something God was leading you to do didn’t make any sense? One can’t help but wonder if that very thought crossed Noah’s mind when he was instructed to build a huge Ark, because a worldwide flood was coming! But Noah was faithful to do what God commanded him to do, even when it seemed illogical to the watching world. Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall points to Genesis chapters six and seven and encourages us to follow in Noah’s footsteps.

As parents there are those times when we extend grace, love and patience to our kids. But sometimes their rebellion or disobedience reaches a point where we can’t help but say, Enough is enough. That’s the place we find our Lord, today on a Daily Walk. Pastor John Randall will show us why God chose to judge the earth through a worldwide flood today as our study of Genesis continues.

Today pastor John Randall focuses our attention on Genesis four and five where we run across a couple of guys walking in the opposite direction. One was walking with God, and the other walking in the flesh. Question is, which of the two paths are you on today?

Today on a Daily Walk we will pull back the curtain and take a look at an invisible war going on in the heavenlies. The good news is, satan is no match for God, and will be defeated. But pastor John Randall also wants to show us how we can win and overcome in the battles we face in our daily walk.

Does it really matter how we approach God? Can we just come to Him however we want? The popular opinion of the day is that there are many roads to the Lord, and it doesn’t matter what you believe. Today we learn a valuable lesson from Genesis chapter four- there is one way to God and we had better come to Him on His terms- not ours. The story of Cain and Abel and the sacrifices they brought to God is what we’ll focus in on today on a Daily Walk.

Pastor John Randall is taking us through Genesis, verse by verse, right now. In chapter three, sin enters the world. Eve falls for Satan’s lie, and Adam willfully disobeys God too. Rather than admitting their sin and turning to God through repentance, they chose to blame shift. Sound familiar? Not only will we be taking a look at the right and wrong way to respond after we sin, but John will also point out that Satan’s tactics really haven’t changed since the Garden.

Pastor John Randall is leading a study of Genesis right now, and today we find ourselves in chapter three. Following tragedies questions tend to surface like- Why does evil exist, and How could God allow something like this? The problems of this world can be traced back to Genesis three, where sin entered the world.

As we continue our study through Revelation with pastor John Randall we’ve reached chapter twelve. We’re going to learn about one of the great battles of all time.. one that’s been fought since the beginning of time and one that continues today. It’s the battle between satan and God. One interesting aspect of this battle is that we already know who has won!

We’re giving our attention to the early part of Genesis right now! If you were walking through a desert in the middle of nowhere, and suddenly saw a computer sitting in the sand, would you think it just grew there or that someone put it there? As silly as that seems, in order to believe in Evolution, you have to believe that something as complicated as this world, the universe and everything in it, just happened by accident! The truth is God spoke it all into existence and that includes you!

How did the universe, the world, and everything in it come into being? Was there some sort of a big bang or did God do it? Open your school text book and you might be confused on the answer to that, but if you open Genesis you’ll arrive at the truth! That’s where we’re headed today on a Daily Walk. Pastor John Randall shows us today we can trust the Bible is the truth, and that includes the creation account!

Today on a Daily Walk we take you back to the beginning and the creation account recorded for us in Genesis. The first verses in our Bibles speak of God’s creative work. Pastor John Randall attracts our attention to this, as he introduces us to the book of Genesis.

Today on a Daily Walk we turn back to the beginning. Maybe like a lot of people you’re wondering how in the world we got here? Isn’t it great to take a timeout in the middle of a stressful day and get a breath of fresh air? In a way, that’s what we’re going to do as we continue our study through the book of Revelation. The last part of Chapter eleven provides a chance to step back. We’re about halfway through the Great Tribulation - a time of unprecedented destruction and suffering. In Chapter eleven we will learn about the third woe, or the seventh trumpet judgment. And this results in a point where God is worshipped.

We’ll be finishing First Corinthians chapter fifteen today. And we’ve camped out here all week, as it emphasizes such an important and encouraging truth the Resurrection. Today we join pastor John Randall in the middle of First Corinthians chapter fifteen, and the subject at hand is the Resurrection of Christ. Yes Jesus is alive. But here’s something else you need to know. If you’re a Christian, you share in His Resurrection and His glorious Kingdom. It doesn’t get any better than that. So let’s be encouraged by this glorious reality of the resurrection.

Christianity as a whole hangs on one important event, The Resurrection of Christ. Without the Resurrection, every claim that Jesus ever made is immediately called into question. The Good News is. it’s true. The Resurrection actually happened! And here’s something else to consider- Our resurrection as believers is as sure as Jesus’ resurrection! And we’re going to look into this on a Daily Walk.

What if Jesus died and remained in the grave? In First Corinthians fifteen we’ll discover if there’s no resurrection our faith is empty and our preaching is also empty. In fact if there’s no resurrection we are liars still in our sins with no hope! Talk about some serious ramifications. But the good news is, the resurrection actually happened and there’s overwhelming evidence to back up that claim.

Within the church there’s great debate and even misunderstanding centering around passages like the one we’ll be looking at. It deals with women in ministry in the church. The city of Corinth was engaged in idolatry big time. There were also several pagan temples in the city and each one was quite popular. You can see why the apostle Paul felt it was so important to get the message of Christ to these people, that their hopes shouldn’t be placed in things made by the hands of men, but rather in the hands of the One who made men. Today we learn that Christian liberty doesn’t include the freedom to sin!

Here in America we focus a great deal on our rights and freedoms. But as we’ll see today on a Daily Walk sometimes as ministers of Jesus we’ll need to give up some of our rights and liberties for very good reason. Pastor John Randall has us consider First Corinthians chapter nine and a time when the apostle Paul gave up his rights as an apostle for the sake of his fruitfulness and effectiveness in the ministry. John is offering up an example of personal sacrifice that we can all learn from.

Today we turn to First Corinthians chapter six. We can all probably think of a person or two that claims to be a Christian, yet their life is really no different than any other non-christian out there. When we’re wronged by someone or our rights are violated we might be tempted to take it into the legal system. And in certain instances that may be the appropriate course of action. But let’s say the person who did you wrong is a Christian what then? Should Christians sue Christians? Today on a Daily Walk that very question is raised. We’re going through First Corinthians, and in chapter six another problem in the church at Corinth rises to the surface. When a tag is sticking out from your friend’s shirt, or some food is on their chin. the considerate thing to do is let them know so they can fix the problem. And most of us would do that. But what do you do when you see someone in willful, deliberate sin? If you’re like most you tend to stay out of it, thinking it’s none of your business. But is that really loving? Throughout Scripture we find example after example of the destructiveness of pride and how it leads to a downfall. Of course right there at the top of the list is Satan. Who could forget the stories of King Nebuchadnezzar or Haman. Or how about King Uzziah who fell through religious pride? Today on A Daily Walk we get back into our study of First Corinthians and notice that pride is really at the core of so many of the problems and sins in our world today. As we’re faithful to our God-given calling and serving the Lord in the place He has for us, we’re not always going to be appreciated or thanked! In fact many times we’ll be unfairly criticized, or mistreated. That was the case for the apostle Paul as we’ll learn today on a Daily Walk. The reality is God has a plan and purpose for our lives that includes service of some kind. His Spirit comes into our lives encouraging us to be like Christ and live for the glory of God! Today on a Daily Walk Pastor John Randall shows us what a privilege it is to be the temple of God, and serving Jesus in our daily walk.

When our kids are little we expect certain behaviors like an occasional temper tantrum, sucking on a pacifier, and crawling around on the ground playing with toys. But if a thirty or forty year old is engaging in that same behavior we’d be concerned. That’s because we expect growth with time. And that’s true spiritually as well. Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall shows us why spiritual growth is to occur from new birth until we go to be with the Lord.

Paul referred to the Corinthians as babies in the Christian life because they weren’t spiritually healthy and mature. They often argued like children over non-essentials and allowed petty divisions to distract them. Sadly, this kind of behavior still exists today. We'll hear a rebuke of carnal christianity in our study.

Today we're in Revelation chapter seven. In this chapter we find two groups of people. The first are 144,000 Jews, that will be saved during the Tribulation Period. The second are Tribulation saints. People that will come to faith in Jesus during the Tribulation, and will be martyred for their faith.

If you look any where other than God you’ll be disappointed and unsatisfied. Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall urges us to go to God for wisdom of the best kind. And the Holy Spirit is alone qualified to supply us that wisdom. That comes to our attention through this passage in First Corinthians chapter two!

Today we’re going to pickup where we left off in First Corinthians. Which happens to be the end of chapter one. God’s choices may not make a whole lot of sense to many in our world. He’s chosen the weak and lowly things of the world. And for good reason as we’ll learn today.

Maybe you’ve noticed, knowledge is on the increase. But with all of our advances, the world is in a real mess! Why is that? We need to receive the message of the cross, and live according to godly wisdom, not what the world has to offer. And today’s study will really drive that home.

If you’ve been studying along with us recently, as we’ve been going through Revelation, you’ll recall in chapter six we saw the vision of coming death and destruction, and in chapter eight another wave of judgement begins! But in chapter seven we have a break in the action, and a question is asked, "Will anyone be saved during this time of Tribulation?" The answer just may surprise you.

With all the various personalities, preferences, and convictions we shouldn’t be surprised when there are differences and disagreement in the church. While there’s certainly nothing wrong with having differing opinions we can run into real problems when we take things a step further and an argument develops or worse yet division! Today on a Daily Walk hear the reason why it’s so important to have unity in the church.

Those of you who are in your 50’s or 60’s can no doubt look back over the last few decades and notice how evil and wicked behavior has increased. It wasn’t long ago that we could turn on the TV and not have to worry about our kids hearing filthy speech or being exposed to sexual immorality. How can we be an influence for good and take a stand for Christ in a pagan world like this? Today on a Daily Walk we dive back into our new study of First Corinthians.

As we open Revelation chapter six, we’re about to focus on the Great Tribulation period. The section we’re looking at today can be described in one word: terror! The worst earthquake, the worst flood, the worst atomic explosion, none of them compare to what lies ahead for those who have rejected the Lord. Along with this bad news is the good news that we don’t have to experience any of it, as long as we have given our lives over to Jesus Christ.

If you knew your days were numbered and time left on earth was short, what would you do and say? No doubt you’d draw in those who are really close to you to share what’s on your heart, and convey what’s most important to you. Especially around Christmas time, We tend to have a picture in our minds of a gentle Jesus, meek and mild and loving. The book of Revelation depicts a different side of our Lord and savior. In chapters 6-19 we learn about the wrath of the lamb. One day the judgement of God will come upon a Christ-rejecting world in the Tribulation period. What is it, what is its purpose, and what about the timing of it all? Let’s head over to Revelation six, and hear all about it on a Daily Walk.

In light of all that is taking place around us in our nation, and world, we've decided to turn to a passage of scripture that fits our situation like a glove so to speak. 2nd Timothy chapter three describes what the last days will look like, and it's quite evident that we're living in them. Why will they be so difficult, and how are we to face them? We’re about to find out here on a Daily Walk and find out! From Second Timothy chapter three and verse two - here’s pastor John Randall talking about living in the last days.

There's no debating the fact that these are difficult days. From a virus that is hard to control, to war in a foreign land, immoral behavior accepted and applauded, abortions, and the breakdown of the family are just a few things we could point to as evidence of that. Many are asking themselves and others, "Are these the last days?" I think it’s safe to say that they are as we read 2nd Timothy chapter three today on a Daily Walk. And as we look together at what will take place in the last days, pastor John Randall will encourage us to live for the glory of God.

Just as there are good and godly teachers today, there are false teachers who seek to undermine what God is wanting to accomplish. But how are we to face these false teachers as they cross our paths? The apostle Paul gives us some help with that in Second Timothy chapter two. Timothy needed to face and confront them too.

False teaching is prevalent. It’s been in the church since the beginning and surely making its way through the church at the present time! But how are we to face these false teachers? The same way Timothy did! Today on a Daily Walk we recall a time in the early church when Timothy needed to confront the false teachers. And the apostle Paul would share with young Timothy the reasons why they are to be avoided. Pastor John Randall will relate all of this to our day, and the false teaching that exists.

Paul in writing to Timothy encourages him to look to the soldier, athlete and farmer for characteristics to apply to his life and ministry. And these are words we really need to hear today too. For instance the soldier follows the commands of his superior officer without hesitation. And that should be our response to God’s commands to us! Or how about the farmer, who needs patience when dealing with his crops. You can be sure patience will be needed in our lives from time to time!

On today’s program we enter Acts chapter four.

We are very excited about today’s program as we embark on a brand-new study through the book of Acts with pastor John Randall.

We’ve spent a considerable amount of time studying the gospel of Mark on the program, and today we return to chapter fourteen. We’ve all committed shameful acts, things that we’re certainly not proud of as followers of Christ. The good news is God can completely forgive us and use us after the failure. If you need proof, just open your Bible! Today we’ll take a look at a low point in Peter’s life, and pastor John will connect it to God’s all-sufficient grace.

We’re learning how to become a worshipper of Jesus today on A Daily Walk, with pastor John Randall. And a great example of true worship is found in Mark chapter fourteen. Here we run across Mary demonstrating a life of worship. We’ll notice it was calculated, costly, required full commitment, it was criticized and most importantly commended by Jesus.

Pastor John Randall will pick up where we left off last time in our study of Mark. In chapter ten the disciples are in a place, many of us find ourselves in right now. They’re fearful! It’s interesting to observe what Jesus does. He takes them aside and reminds them of a few things. Perhaps that’s what you need today?

We’ll see what our Lord had to say on the matter here on this Mondayedition of A Daily Walk as pastor John Randall returns to his series in Mark.

So how do you look upon those believers down the street, that attend a different church, that worship differently than you or dress more conservatively than you? Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall encourages us to work toward unity. After all we’re on the same team, worshipping the same God. That’s the message Jesus seeks to get across to His disciples in Mark chapter nine, and we’d do well to take it to heart.
