Hi Folks, I am Teddy Gram , producer and guitar player of Guitorb. What can I say ? We ALL dig it when a groove comes together. So I want to give a big shout out to all the great drummers who's tracks have been acidized,MIDI morphed ,and looped into the funky future that we thrive in today. The fly didn't irritate him but I'll bet my soloing in an Arabic scale will get his dander up.
Updated this one from about a year ago. I think this version is better but you must decide for yourself.
I JUST ADDED A FIBES DRUM KIT TO MY VST LIST. FOUND THIS ONE THAT I'D DONE A FEW YEARS AGO. I HAD ANOTHER GO AT IT WITH THE FIBES KIT.
I have some old-school drum slicing on this one. As well as some old radio dialog filtered through Ableton's Vocoder VST.
Special thanks to Corey Henry (the master of the Hammond) for making his tracks available. Teddy Gram does a guitar solo around the 4 minute mark.
The dialog is from Universal Pictures , "Creature from the Black Lagoon". I only call my tune "Return to the Lagoon" because I have used those samples on a previous track.
Ableton 9 allows the user (in this case Teddy Graham)to convert any audio track (in this case Teddy's guitar riff) into a MIDI file. Thus allowing said user to choose from a wide pallet of instruments for playing said track. Yes. It's a blast!
