What if the biggest thing standing between you and God's purpose isn't a lack of faith, but a life filled with distractions? Discover how renewing your mind with God's wisdom prepares you to recognize the divine opportunities He places in front of you every day—and to respond with confidence instead of hesitation.
You are an integral part of the body of Christ and your story matter. Today we'll hear Chris Cloud of Home Church and Abel Ministries share his testimony.
America's founding ideals were deeply influenced by the biblical understanding that our rights come from our Creator and that true liberty begins with a people who are governed from within rather than controlled from without. This message explores how the freedom Christ purchased for us—freedom from the curse of the law and righteousness by faith—helped shape the language of liberty found in our nation's founding documents. Discover why lasting freedom is ultimately found not in government, but in the transforming power of the gospel that produces truly free people.
Men need a plan, something to put their hand to that’s built on the foundation of Christ…what’s yours? You can ask God and he will help you. Let’s talk about how to develop that plan in this year’s Father’s Day message.
Make everyone feel like they’re your favoriteThe body of Christ is a family. We all have a unique expression of the Holy Spirit within us that is needed in the body of Christ and in the world. When we love one another, it nurtures our unique calling. And the world is starving for what we have.
Jesus was obedient to the death of the cross, this is the central truth of our faith. Your response is to make sure your thoughts are in agreement with what he accomplished in his obedience, casting down every other thought that contradicts what Christ experienced for you. This message walks you through Isaiah 53 as an example of his to bring your thoughts captive.
Enjoy a great message from the Camps this final Sunday in Mental Health Awareness Month.
This message explores the battle for the mind through the lens of scripture, neuroscience, and the finished work of Christ, revealing how beliefs formed in the heart shape our thoughts, emotions, and perception of reality. Learn how to bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ and cast down every lie that contradicts what Jesus accomplished through His death and resurrection.
A mother’s peace is not found in her children’s outcomes, but in being anchored in Christ as her source, helper, and identity. When she becomes healthy in spirit, soul, and body and keeps God first, she creates a stable, life-giving atmosphere where her children can thrive without carrying the weight of her purpose.
In this message, we expose the difference between emotional hype that acts like a mystical sugar pill and mature faith in the truth of the gospel that anchors us in what God has already completed in Christ. Paul’s call to walk by faith and not by sight invites us to stop leaning on external stimulation and instead live from the settled, eternal reality that is already ours.
When the Word is truly received, the works will naturally follow as a result of how you see the Word.
When we place our faith and hope in Christ, it allows Him to do a work in us, to remove our dead root of sinful nature and replace it with His life. It’s as if we were buried with Him, and then raised when He was raised to new and eternal life. From then on, in Him we truly are alive.
Jesus entered the darkness of Psalm 22—fully bearing our separation—so that through His once-for-all sacrifice as our High Priest, He secured eternal redemption and established a new covenant where we are forever made righteous in Him. Now, as new creations, we don’t strive to become—we live from what He finished, resting in His work while His resurrection life flows through every part of us.
God is not the source of trials or temptation—He is the one who gives wisdom, strength, and a way through what we face in a broken world. When we see Him clearly, prayer becomes confident, faith becomes steady, and our hearts rest in His goodness.
Through the Spirit and the finished work of Christ, believers can know the things God has already freely given and pray with confidence where His will is clearly revealed. In areas where Scripture has not specified the details—such as personal plans, timing, or direction—we humbly seek His guidance, trusting His grace and leadership along the way.
Since God already knows our needs and desires to give good things to His children, prayer begins by hearing and believing what He has spoken. Faith is born through the Word, and as we receive God’s promises into our hearts, His living Word shapes our thoughts, guards our hearts, and produces the fruit of His will in our lives.
Because our Father already knows what we need, prayer is not informing Him or persuading Him — it is partnering with Him. As righteous sons and daughters, we bear one another’s burdens and pray for one another boldly and confidently, expecting healing and restoration in a hurting world.
In this conversation, Justin Merrill explores the profound themes of grace, identity, and the nature of God through the lens of the parable of the Prodigal Son. He emphasizes that the parables of the lost sheep, lost coin, and lost son collectively reveal God's relentless pursuit of humanity and His desire for restoration. The discussion highlights the contrasting perspectives of the younger and elder sons, illustrating how both can misunderstand the Father's heart. Ultimately, the message centers on the unconditional love and acceptance that God offers to all, regardless of their past or performance, inviting listeners to embrace their identity as beloved children of God.
Perfect love is not flawless love — it is mature love, and mature love casts out fear. When we try to love from insecurity, survival instinct, or a need to be completed by someone else, fear filters what we give and receive. But as we allow God’s love for us—revealed fully in Christ—to mature in us, we become whole in Him and are finally free to love others without fear.
This message reveals the New Covenant reality that the anointing is not a special experience or office, but Christ in you, the indwelling Spirit given in full measure to every believer. Church offices exist to serve, not to exercise lordship, and spiritual gifts are diverse expressions of the same Spirit working in all, not evidence of different anointings. When we rest in Christ and commit to loving God and people, fruit is borne naturally through abiding, not striving.
When James and John sought authority and position, Jesus rebuked them and redefined greatness, declaring that His kingdom does not operate through lording power but through self-giving love and service. In Christ, authority is not a hierarchy to climb but a life to give, flowing from union with Him and expressed by loving one another rather than ruling over one another.Clint ByarsLead Pastor | Forward Church Phone: 770-824-3434Email: info@forward.church | clint@forward.churchWebsites: www.forward.church | www.clintbyars.comMembership: https://www.clintbyars.com/membership
God makes His presence and voice known in an atmosphere of love. Jesus defines His commandments not as rules to perform, but as living in the love the Father has for us and letting that love flow back to God and toward others. As we receive God’s love, abide in it, and love one another, we experience His manifested presence, His joy, and clear fellowship with Him.
Jesus never taught us to relate to the Holy Spirit as distant or unpredictable. In this message, we look at how the Spirit takes what belongs to Jesus and makes it known to us—so we can walk with God relationally, in truth, peace, and confidence as friends of God.
Jesus doesn’t think of us as His servants, He considers us His friends. He then goes on to say that he has shared everything with us that Hid Father told Him. When you take time to persuade your heart of these powerful realities it changes how you make decisions. You are secure in Him, but there’s work to do.
Jesus took it very seriously when religious people who were supposed to represent Him made following God hard for people. He rebuked them for their hypocrisy and set the precedent that we are not to merely look good on the outside, but we are to walk with inward integrity, and help others lift their burdens, not make it difficult to experience God’s mercy. In this message, we do a deep dive into the heart of Jesus and how we are to minister to others.
As we enter 2026, we are invited to stop striving for life through effort or information and instead come to Christ for the refreshing that is already ours in salvation. Jesus calls the weary to take His easy yoke, to sow to the Spirit rather than the flesh, and to trust that righteousness, rest, and fruitfulness flow naturally from abiding in Him. When we allow Christ to refresh our souls, we become free to sow spiritual seed and experience the life of the Kingdom to the glory of God.
This Christmas, we celebrate that the child born in Bethlehem is the King whose kingdom will never end and whose light has already dawned in the world. Jesus declared that this kingdom is here and at work within us, growing quietly like leaven as it fills our hearts. As we live in righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit, we allow His kingdom to spread through our lives and into the world around us.
This Christmas, we fix our eyes on the Word made flesh-Light with no darkness. Love revealed, the Anointed Savior, the unchanging Father of lights, and the Preeminent One through whom and for whom all things were made. Our joy is made full not by examining ourselves but by the looking unto Him.
Your words reveal the atmosphere of your heart, and gratitude is the fastest way to shift that atmosphere. When peace guards your heart, it governs your mouth and empowers you to walk in love with the people closest to you.
Most of our pain comes from the stories we tell ourselves - not the people around us. When we stop taking things personally and choose gratitude over judgement, we begin interpreting life through our identity in Christ rather than our ego. This renewed lens produces peace, clarity, and emotional freedom.
When we choose gratitude, we’re not just obeying Scripture—we’re reshaping our hearts and even our brains to trust God’s goodness. Like the disciples who forgot the miracle of the loaves, anxiety often comes from forgetting who Jesus has already proven Himself to be. When we remember His faithfulness and give thanks, peace—both spiritual and biological—rises up to guard our hearts and minds, empowering us to live calm, steady, and confident in every circumstance.
Your prayers are no longer hindered by wars in the heavenly realm, God has already forgiven you in the blood of Christ, and healing is available for all who believe. Today we will discuss how all of our beliefs must be informed by the new covenant and the resurrection of christ.
The heart is the Father for you must be the foundation of your faith. The resurrection is the pinnacle of his heart for you, and every belief we have must be rooted in these two things. Today we’ll look at the prodigal son parable to frame our beliefs and relationship with God to bear fruit.
This message unpacks the heart of evangelism rooted in the Father’s love, where the ministry of reconciliation isn’t a duty but an overflow of knowing we’ve already been reconciled to Him. We’ll look at how Jesus modeled serving from Sonship in John 13 and how, from that same place of identity and rest, we can carry God’s heart to the world.
Our nation is still feeling the shock waves of the last few weeks, and people are seeking God. Millions are reading the Bible again or for the first time, and millions are going to church. This is a good thing. As people are responding this way, what can we do to make sure we’re walking out the assignments God has for us?
Jesus lived perfectly to qualify to be the acceptable offering for the sin of the whole world. Forgiveness and redemption are only available through faith in His blood. Enjoy today’s message as we root you deeper in the Gospel!
Proverbs 16:3 tells us to “commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.” In this message, discover how committing your works isn’t complicated—it’s rolling your plans onto God, trusting Him with the outcomes, and walking daily in His life and purposes. When you seek His kingdom, abide in Christ, and yield your steps to Him, your calling becomes clear and your path firm. The waiting is OVER, it’s tome to make a decision, roll your works onto Him, and MOVE FORWARD!
Scripture tells us to apply your heart to instruction. We’re asking “what," but God is trying to tell us “how.” The what starts with you. It’s time to make a decision of how you’ll pursue His calling on your life, and He’ll give you the steps. You think you’re waiting on God, but He’s waiting on you. Let us help you move forward today!
You might think you’re waiting on God, but God is waiting on you. He has given you his spirit and has given you the mind of Christ, you can use it to make a decision and move forward. Today we’ll ask a few questions that will help you have a vision for your life and step into a meaningful life, full or purpose.
If you lack a clear life vision, you’re vulnerable to confusion and control. Without clarity, you’ll keep seeking something outside yourself to define you. The vision you embrace should be the outward expression of who you want to be and the values you live by. It’s time to pick a path, quit waiting for the nebulous “move of God” and waiting for someone to tell you what to do, make a decision, and get moving!
Lasting change begins in the heart, where your deepest beliefs—especially about your identity—are formed. True repentance is a continual turning from your own logic to God’s truth, allowing His Word to work at the identity level and reshape how you see yourself. Your only real work is to believe what God says about you and rest in that truth, because that’s where transformation happens.
The kingdom of God is in every believer. All of God’s promises and provision are available, they’re one belief away. Today we will discuss the parable of the sower and how our hearts determine the fruitfulness of the word of the kingdom and how we can persuade our heart to be more receptive.
Bible reading is a foundational pillar of being a Jesus follower. But the magic of transformation happens when you let the Bible read you. The Word of God is alive, it’s a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart, which is where your beliefs are written. Reflecting in the Word of God will reveal to you what you truly believe. Once you see your beliefs, you can allow yourself to put off lies and put on the truth. Here’s how.
Grace is power, it’s God’s divine influence on your heart to strengthen you and teach you. Grace works in a believing heart. So how do you believe from the heart? You allow peace to guard your heart. How do you do that? You become rated and grounded in God’s love for you and Christ’s finished work. Here’s how.
If you are in Christ, you can live guilt free, under the power of GRACE! Join us today as we unpack this powerful GOSPEL truth. Here's a sneak peak: Grace is freedom from sin, not freedom to sin.
Happy Father’s Day!! Young men are looking for a life philosophy and a structure that can build their life on. Today we’ll discuss how men are built to lead and build with kingdom purpose.
People misunderstand grace. Grace is God’s power working in you. Because of grace, we are dead to sin and alive to Christ and we live above the lure of sin. Join us today as we discuss how grace is power, and not a license to sin.
Isaiah 10:27 was fulfilled when God broke the Assyrian yoke off Judah not by human effort but by His power—one angel destroyed 185,000 soldiers in a single night. In the same way today, every burden and yoke is destroyed not by striving, but by the anointing of Christ that abides in you. Join us today as we discuss how to pray with your spirit to position yourself to be strengthened in your inner man by God’s grace.
Youth and Young Adult Pastor, Lyle Camp, brings a funny and insightful word on shifting your perspective to see what God already has in place in our lives.
If you are born again, God has placed His Spirit in you and you have become as one with Him as Jesus is. And…you have been anointed by Jesus, who baptizes us with the Holy Spirit. This is not a one time event, it is a lifestyle. Jesus works with us, continually empowering us for fruits and gifts.
This Mother’s Day, we’ll explore the heart of motherhood through the lens of John 17, where Jesus said, “For their sakes I sanctify Myself.” In moments of fear, frustration, or uncertainty, God invites us to parent from a place of peace, faith, and purpose—seeing our children through their identity in Christ and speaking life into their future. Be encouraged and equipped to walk in your calling with renewed confidence, knowing your prayers and presence matter deeply.
What is the baptism of the Holy Spirit? As believers, we are complete in Christ—fully in-dwelt by His Spirit and lacking nothing in our new nature. The anointing we have received from Him abides in us permanently, not waiting to “fall” but always present to empower, guide, and transform. We don’t wait for the Spirit to come—we lay hold of what we've already been given, taking hold of His indwelling power through faith.
James teaches us that temptation comes from within. We’re only tempted with the things that we desire. There is a godly way to fulfill every desire, but through brokenness, perversion and confusion we choose to fulfill our natural desires in ways that do not honor God’s natural order, which is sin. But sin is no longer our master for we are dead to sin in Christ. Join us today as we discuss how to stand in His strength and overcome.
Jesus was delivered up to die for our sins, and He rose from the dead the third day, securing our justification and eternal redemption. You are now forgiven, redeemed, justified, and made righteous because of the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ! Keep your faith in him and rest in His finished work!
As we celebrate Palm Sunday and remember Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, we also reflect on the deeper purpose of His coming. He became fully human, entering our world in humility, so He could represent us, carry our sin, and face the cross on our behalf. Through His obedience and sacrifice, He made a way for us to become like Him—righteous, restored, and transformed into His image. Palm Sunday marks the beginning of the week that would reveal the fullness of His love, as the King who came to save by laying down His life.
Jesus gave us a model to pray, and it all starts with relationship. What we prayed from acceptance rather than for acceptance. What if we prayed from abundance rather than lack? What if prayer were more about aligning our thoughts, emotions, and mental pictures with God’s will revealed in Jesus rather than about our needs and worries? Join us today as we look at the Lord’s prayer.
Prayer is not begging from a distant God—it's confident communion with a Father who has already given us all things in Christ. In this message, we’ll explore how to ask in faith—not from fear or lack, but from a heart persuaded by God’s promises and rooted in His nature. Discover how to align your thoughts, emotions, and expectations with the finished work of Jesus so your prayers reflect trust, not striving—and how asking in faith invites both transformation and fruitfulness.
Transformative Honesty and Transparency Before the Lord - Clint Byars by Forward Church Sermons
Today's message explores Psalm 8:5 through the lens of quantum physics and biblical revelation. Just as quantum entanglement connects particles across space, God has crowned humanity with glory and honor, linking us to His divine nature and purpose. This sermon reveals how God sees us—not as insignificant, but as image-bearers with intrinsic dignity, designed to reign with Him. Discover how understanding our divine worth transforms our identity, purpose, and faith in a world that often reduces humanity to mere chance.
Our world is not as fixed as it seems—both science and Scripture reveal that human consciousness plays a role in shaping reality. Just as quantum physics shows that observation collapses possibilities into a single outcome, Jesus taught that faith manifests the unseen into the seen (Mark 11:23, Hebrews 11:1-3). God designed us as co-creators, with the ability to pull from heaven’s reality and establish it on earth (Matthew 6:10). This sermon explores how faith, perception, and spiritual focus determine what we experience—and how aligning with God’s Word empowers us to bring His will into our world.
All things are possible for those who believe is a quantum reality statement. In Quantum Physics, there is an understanding that matter at its smallest existence exists in a state of superposition, meaning unlimited potentials, at the same time, until someone or something observes the matter. This is true of God’s Kingdom as well. Join us as we talk about how quantum realities reveal mysteries about the unseen realm.
The Jews waited for the promise of the arrival of their king who would sit on the throne of David and restore Israel to power. What they didn’t know is that God was speaking of a spiritual, eternal, heavenly kingdom. The good news is God kept His promise, that kingdom is here now, and His reign has begun!
We have the unimaginable hope of the eternal city of God waiting for us. Jesus promised that he is preparing a place for us. But we are connected to that realm now and can actually experience the will of Heaven on Earth. Today we begin a new series discussing how we can expect to experience glimpses of Heaven now.
Discover how to align your life goals with God’s will by meeting with Jesus in prayer, worship, and the Word. Define your desires, produce lasting fruit, and pursue your kingdom assignments with His guidance, knowing He will direct your steps.
It's very simple, God has revealed His logic and the best way to live, in His word. His word will show us the steps to take if we will commit our decision making process to His Lordship. We can do it His way, or we can do it our way, which one do you think has a better success rate?
When your goals are connected to a higher purpose than just selfish gain you tend to achieve them more consistently and with a greater sense of purpose. Today we’ll discuss how to set goals with something greater with your personal desires in mind.
Through His death and resurrection, Jesus fulfilled the Law, inaugurating the New Covenant where salvation is by grace through faith, and we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to live fruitful lives within His high calling. This freedom invites us to make decisions boldly, steward God’s gifts faithfully, and reflect His kingdom through purposeful and abundant living.
Did you fulfill all your goals for 2024? Are you ending the year closer to God or feeling a bit distant? The guilt and shame we carry from our choices will affect our hearts toward God and cause us to not walk in the assignments he has for us. Let’s put 2024 behind us and move on to a renewed vision for a new year.
Jesus offers His followers divine peace and prays for their unity, reflecting the oneness between Him and the Father (John 14:27, 17:11-23). Living in His peace and unity becomes a powerful testimony to the world, revealing God's love and the truth of Jesus' mission. For this reason, we celebrate Christmas!
Jesus is seated at the right hand of God ruling forevermore. One of the amazing promises of the new covenant we are secure in is that we have also been raised to the same seat of honor at the right hand of God because we are in Christ. Christ has chosen to share his inheritance with us. Join us today as we discover the honor God has bestowed upon us through being in Christ.
One of the first promises of the New Covenant in Christ is peace with God. The peace we have with God is an eternal peace, established in the resurrection of Christ and His indwelling spirit within. Unto us a child has been given to rescue us from sin and death and make our place in God’s family secure, forever established in God’s promised covenant. Join us today for GOOD NEWS!!
Gratitude is a key ingredient for transformation. God's Word thrives in the spiritual heart when peace reigns, but how can we cultivate an environment where peace prevails? By reminding ourselves of God's faithfulness and the benefits of His covenant, we develop a foundational gratitude that prepares the heart for His Word to take root and grow. In this session, we'll explore how to step into thanksgiving and let peace rule in our hearts.
The United States elected Donald Trump as president. That’s wonderful news for some people, but the better news is that Jesus Christ is still king and he’s coming again. There are people who do not know the Gospel. It’s your job as a Jesus follower to tell them. Here’s how.
Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection paid for so much more than we may realize. Through His atonement, we have the right to become children of God, bringing with it incredible benefits beyond what we may have ever known. Today, we’ll explore our place in God’s family and the remarkable rights and privileges that come with it.
You’ve heard of progressive holiness? Holiness is actually perpetual. It became your spiritual state before God when you said yes to Jesus and he cleansed you with his blood, but it is continuing to work in you, seeking to make your entire being clean, spirit, soul, and body. It’s a work of grace by his spirit and not your efforts.

Intuition is a capacity of the heart. Intuition is the ability to understand something immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning. You use your intuition all the time without even thinking, for good and for bad. The good news is you can program your intuition. The Bible calls it writing on the tablet of your heart. Join us today for worship and a talk about resetting your heart’s beliefs and automatic responses.
We are new creatures in Christ because God has given us a new heart and put His Spirit in us. We now live directly connected to God because He lives and bears fruit through us by His Spirit. Why then do we still struggle with sin and other issues? Because our minds need to be renewed and we need to put on what is in us. Your new identity is waiting to be put on. Here’s how.
We have a new heart and God’s spirit lives in us, we must protect and guard that space. One way to guard the heart is to sow to the spirit. To properly see sowing to the spirit we will discuss what it means to sow to the flesh, since they are opposites. Join us today for an encouraging word about doing good toward one another and not allowing the works of the flesh to divide us.
God gave you a new heart, but you must guard and protect it like a garden. You are responsible for keeping your heart sensitive to God and walking by faith. Faith is not belief despite lack of evidence, it’s a response to who God is, what he has done, and what he has promised. Our role is to believe and allow him to empower us accordingly. Join us today as we discuss how to build faith in the heart.
Faith is not belief without evidence. Faith is a belief based on the careful observation of the track record and promises of God. Faith is a response to who God says he is. Faith is a response to what God has done for us and in us in Christ, and a trust that he will complete the things he promised. Join us today as we anchor our faith in Christ’s faithfulness.
Hope is a choice rooted in God’s unchanging Word. As you choose hope, you will see life through the eyes of faith, recognizing the possibilities God has prepared for you. Neuroscientific research on hope and positive expectation involves exploring how the brain processes these concepts and the impact they have on mental health, physical well-being, and faith. Join us today as we do a deep dive into how to cultivate hope in the heart.
Through Christ we receive a spiritual heart transplant. Today we’ll look at actual heart transplant stories and gain insight on the spiritual heart we receive when we are born again.
We’ve all had those relationships where you felt like the other person was keeping track of everything that you did wrong. God is not like that, we can thrive and our passionate calling, not worried about making mistakes because we are already approved in Christ. If you make a mistake, you just correct course, knowing that God is with you.
Should You Take Communion If You Have Sin In Your Life? - Clint Byars by Forward Church Sermons
The gospel doesn’t just offer us Christ’s strength and forgiveness in the midst of our weakness, but also changes the entire perspective of our lives from one of looking at ourselves and what we think is good for us to one of living for the dream of God’s kingdom and the joy of living for the benefit of others.
Circumstances are not a very good indicator of God's will. In our immediate personal lives, we can expect to always experience God's promises, but in this world, Jesus said we would have trouble. God is with us, we are in his kingdom, and his spirit is leading us and supplying healing, but sometimes external life circumstances don't work out. But God is still good, and only good. Join us today as we sort through this paradox.
Today we will talk about Jesus' peculiar statement about not storing treasure on earth, but in heaven. He goes on to say that God rewards us for storing up this treasure. Today we discussed what it is and how to do it.
There is a spiritual in action regarding giving found in Proverbs 11:12 one gives freely, yet gains even more. That is not how the carnal world works, the carnal world is based on earning all you can then trying to put your money to work for you. While investments are not a bad idea, Kingdom provision works through generosity.
God declares Himself as your provider, a good Father who desires to bless and care for you. His ability to provide is independent of the economy, the stock market, or any other human systems we typically rely on. God's provision is spiritual in nature. Join us today as we explore the spiritual nature of His provision.

His Spirit will guide and correct you, He will give you strength and healing, and He will always remind you what Christ has accomplished for you.
Jesus commanded us to love one another to the point that it becomes the sign that we follow Jesus. That love for one another, and unity in Christ, can be so radical that it inspires the world to believe that God sent Jesus for them too. Joe us today as we talk about how to love so the world will believe.
God is pleased with you because you are in Christ. From there, believers have the joy and responsibility to fulfill the things God wants us to do. Join us today as we chat about how to discover your assignments in God’s kingdom.

Good morning! Happy Easter! Today is the day we celebrate Jesus rising from the grave and overcoming death. And always he became like you to deliver you from sin and death. In Him we have eternal life!
God is the Word and the Word is God. All things were made by the Word. The Word is alive and active. It’s in your heart to bear fruits and gifts. Today we’ll discuss the power of the Word in your heart to see healing.
God created the heavens and earth with words. Jesus sent his word and healed people. God's spoken word is creative and authoritative instructions to the material world, organizing it to His will. The amazing truth is. Jesus gave us His authority. We are not God, but His Spirit is in us in power. Today, we discuss the power of the spoken word in our mouth.
Jesus healed people and he gave us his power to heal people. This should be the end of the story but we still live in bodies where sin is having an effect. Thankfully we also have God’s spirit in us giving life to our bodies. We’re not in a dualistic battle between the power of God and the power of sin, we have a belief issue that determines which one will bear fruit in our lives. Join us today as we continue our discussion on healing.
God’s a healer. You can always expect God to be true to his character. We don’t always effectively access God’s divine gifts, but that doesn’t mean they’re not available. Join us today as we explore the promise of healing.

When is a believer forgiven? The Gospel makes it clear that forgiveness comes when one believes in and confesses Christ as Lord. However, there can be confusion regarding whether believers need to continue confessing their sins, as mentioned in 1 John 1:9. Is this meant only for unbelievers? Join us today as we answer this question and leave you firmly rooted in the Gospel of redemption through faith in his blood alone.
Paul instructs the Thessalonian church to embrace this philosophy as a guiding principle for both their daily lives and as a means to spread the Gospel more effectively. This timeless concept remains relevant today. As we welcome 2024, let's reflect on this age-old philosophy of simplicity and explore ways to realign our lives in the present. Happy New Year!
God's most incredible marvel was His descent into humanity, becoming one of us and shattering the dominion of sin and death. However, this extraordinary mission was not complete without enduring our mortality and confronting the grip of the grave. Jesus, indeed, reigns as Lord of all, possessing unparalleled authority and power, earned through the profound sacrifices He made on our behalf. It was His purpose to redeem us, and He accomplished it in the most profound manner, not merely for us but as one of us. Join us today as we explore the depths of Christ's suffering on our behalf.
It is a fascinating and glorious mystery how God could become like us so we can become like Him, but this is what He accomplished through Christ. Hebrews 2:14 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 15and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Join us today as we explore the God who became man and then ascended back to His throne, bringing us with Him.
Do you worship God because of what he can do for you? Or because of who he is. When you fully see who he is, you recognize all he has done for you. When you worship God in light of Christ’s finished work, you see that God has given you everything he has to give you because he gave you Christ, who is all in all, the beginning and the end, the all-sufficient one.
God is great, and worthy of praise. We are to worship the Lord our God, but He does not want us to be afraid of Him. In this Christmas season, we will walk through several stories and passages to position ourselves to be in awe and reverential respect for God and His glorious splendor. Jesus is the reason for the season, and He is greatly to be praised!!
Gratitude makes everything better. Especially in a fallen world. We can be thankful to God for the gift of eternal life in Christ, and the promise of renewal in Him. We eagerly await the restoration of all things. But until then, throughout our life on earth, we can be at peace through thankfulness in all things. Not all things are from God, but God will be with us in all things. Thanks for joining us today as we explore how Peace Guards Your Heart.
Gratitude is proactive. It can be reactive, but proactive thanksgiving is a powerful way to repent and shift your thinking to spiritual awareness. Today we’ll discuss how to have proactive thankfulness and discover how it can powerfully bring about change in our lives.#2 in A Grateful Heart series.
The beliefs of our heart shape our lives. What we believe at a heart level is what filters every thought and choice. If our heart is overcharged with guilt and condemnation, we will make decisions in alignment with the condemnation. But if our hearts are confident toward God, we are promised that we will see the fruit of God’s kingdom in our lives. This may sound complicated but it’s actually a simple process to grasp. We pray today’s message encourages you and helps you love God and people more.
You think with your mind and your heart. But your heart is a deeper aspect of your being. Your heart is where you believe what you believe. Jesus said all things are possible when we doubt not in our hearts. Today we’ll discuss how to eliminate doubt so our beliefs and our thoughts are persuaded of God’s truth.
What you think in your mind is important, but what you believe in your heart is more important. The deep beliefs of your heart will override your more shallow thoughts. Today we’ll discuss how to align your heart with the Word of God and bring your thoughts and beliefs into harmony so there are no more contradictions in your life and you can experience the transformative fruit of God’s Word from the heart.
God is more interested in private integrity than public piety. He’s more interested in who you are in the secret place than in the public square. Today we discuss storing up treasures in Heaven by walking in love when no one sees it.
As we think in our hearts, so are we. Do you know how to think with your heart? Do you still think your heart is wicked, evil, and deceitful? We have good news for you today. God put a new heart in you that knows how to hear and obey God. You must renew your mind so your heart awakens unto righteousness and lives from the power of God’s spirit within. Today’s message may challenge you but it will equip you to live in the power of righteousness if you will believe with your heart that God has truly made you righteous and holy.
Your brain might betray you, but the Word of God never will. Wouldn’t it be nice if your thoughts were always in alignment with the Word of God? You’d always know God’s perspective on any matter. You can experience this, but it takes some effort. Today we’ll discuss how to bring your thoughts captive and align them with what Christ accomplished through His obedience and how to allay that to your life.
You need to change, but you can’t change yourself. God will not automatically change you just because you pray. Only an intimate living relationship with the Word of God and the Spirit of God will open your heart to allow the fruit of the Spirit’s transforming power to work in your life. It’s time to put away the former way of life and live in the power of Christ in you.
Today we will participate in a group exercise of prayer and meditation in the Word after worship and a brief sermon, we pray this will be an impactful session for you.
Your destiny is to be shaped and molded by the Spirit of God to be just like Jesus. He accomplished this by living in you. His living Word will manifest in you to activate your new nature and produce His spiritual nature and fruits in and through you. Your role is to align with His will in your thoughts and rest in your completed nature in Christ as the Spirit does the work. We pray today’s worship and message equips you and empowers you to put on your new nature in Christ.
Welcome to our "Thought Life" Series #1: When God Holds Your Heart. There are hundreds of passages in the Bible about our thought life. God gives detailed instructions on how and what to think about almost every subject. The goal of this instruction is to repent, change the way we think, and think as God thinks in every area.
We often nurture harmful and destructive thought patterns in our minds and hearts rather than reigning in our thoughts and fixing them on what God says to think about. In this series, we will explore our thought lives' ups and downs and develop plans to experience transformation through mind renewal.
In today's sermon, we will look at the hardening of Pharaoh's heart to discover a powerful truth about our responsibility to respond to God correctly. We pray today's message is a blessing to you.
Jesus promised us the Holy Spirit. When he described life with the Holy Spirit, he described a relationship. He described a relationship where his Spirit would speak with us, guide us, help us, and strengthen us. Today we’ll discuss how to hear God better from a Biblical perspective. It’s easier than you think.
"The gifts of the spirit" is a loaded phrase. Think of the "gifts" as empowerments or manifestations of the spirit. The "gifts," or, to use a better word, graces of the spirit, are not individual abilities. They are expressions of manifestations of God through people. They are not to be isolated as if one person can do one thing and another person can do another thing. All the graces of the spirit are things that God does through his people. The same spirit can manifest all graces through all people. Join us today as we simplify flowing in the gifts of the spirit.
What is prophecy? Do we have prophets today? While no one but the Holy Spirit can teach people to prophesy, because it’s a manifestation of His presence, we can make sure we have the proper ingredients for New Covenant prophecy. All prophecy should build up and comfort, as well as testify of Jesus. Join us today for more on this topic.
Christ set us free from many things, one of which is the power of sin and death. The law of life is now at work in us, so that we can glorify God. Whether it’s your sin, or someone that sinned against you, through God’s powerful grace you can not only resist but live in a freedom that no longer gives in to sinful behavior. We pray today’s message gives you hope and empowers you to live above the temptation in this world.
God will let you have what you want whether it be good or evil. But if you want to change, he will help you. His spirit lives in you, the very power that created all things can help you remake your desires if you let him. The Gospel is the power that will help you experience radical growth in every area of life. Thanks for joining us today, we hope today’s message is informative and encouraging.
When we experience the new birth, God graciously places His Spirit within us. He unites Himself to us, just as in a sacred marriage. From then on the Spirit of God dwells within us, empowering us to be faithful witnesses for His Kingdom. In today's discussion, we will explore the profound concept of God's indwelling Spirit and reflect on the pivotal role of grace in our daily journey of faith.
Pentecost and Memorial Day fall on the same weekend this year. We remember the fallen and we celebrate the liberty we have in Christ. God has made us His new home in the earth. today we discuss natural and spiritual freedom in light of God’s presence dwelling in us.
It's easy to take our mothers for granted. Many of us have or had wonderful moms, while others did not. This can be a restful, joyous day for some; for others, it can be a day of bitterness and remorse. Whatever your experience, there is biblical instruction regarding both sides of motherhood that is valuable and applicable. Happy Mother's Day!!!
Thousands are being saved and healed as missionary Nate Tanner ministers in Zambia and other African countries. Join us today to hear some amazing stories of God’s power in the Zambian prison system and on the mission field at large. See comments for a link to Nate’s ministry.
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities. All things were created through Him and for Him. Colossians 1:15-16This passage makes a profound point, that everything was created for Jesus. All of creation was a gift.
God is sovereign, but maybe not in the way you think. He is the all-powerful creator of everything, but he is not currently using that power to manipulate the everyday events of every person’s life. He has a spiritual, big-picture plan he’s working where he’s bringing all things together in Christ, but we are still responsible for our choices and direction in life. We hope today’s message brings you comfort but also inspires you to take action and share your faith.
Jesus did what he did for us because it brought him joy and because he deeply loves us. We can allow his love for people to move us as well, in fact it’s what we’re supposed to be known for. Today we’ll discuss how to cultivate compassion for people to increase the kingdom.
He has risen! Jesus has overcome death, hell, and the grave and has sat down on his eternal throne, making a way for all who believe to enjoy eternal life in his glorious kingdom! We pray you have experience this new life that’s only in him.
Jesus knew that God had sent him into the world to die on the cross and save sinners. The last week of his earthly life was heart-wrenching and painful, but he endured it for us. Jesus asked God if there was a different plan, not wanting to be forsaken by his Father, but he still endured. He endured the shame of the cross for the joy set before him, which is us. Thank you for joining us today. We pray that today's journey through Christ's prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane encourages you and gives you hope to remain faithful.
The world should know us by our love for one another, and our unity in Christ as believers should compel the world to believe. Thanks for joining us today as we discuss a strategy to be a sign to the world that God sent Jesus for them too.
Jesus said his words are spirit and life. His words are not just ideas, they are packages of spiritual life. His words created the universe. His words uphold all things. His words are not just ideas for us to ponder, they are packages of spiritual life for us to digest and assimilate into our entire being to experience transformation, enjoy health, and walk in power
Jesus came to give us life. That has two meanings. He brings us from spiritual death to eternal life. And he gives us His life. He doesn’t just make us alive, He actually gives us the quality of life He possesses. Worship with us today and be encouraged by this life-giving word today, thanks for joining us!
In Mark 4 Jesus teaches a parable that he says helps you understand all his other teachings, and he goes on to teach the parable of the seed. He equates the kingdom to a seed sown in your heart. He concludes the receptivity of your heart to the seed will determine its growth. This is a challenging but liberating truth. Join us today as we discuss Faith Like the Kingdom.
When Jesus taught about faith, He emphasized the importance of experiencing God's kingdom. He often used the illustration of the mustard seed to illustrate the connection between faith and God's kingdom, ultimately conveying the message that faith leads to the manifestation of God's kingdom in our lives. In other words, faith enables us to see and experience the presence of God's kingdom in the present moment. Therefore, by embracing and practicing faith, we can live a life filled with the hope and peace that comes from experiencing the reality of God's kingdom every day.
Doubt is a faith killer. Jesus said that all things are possible for those who believe, but he also instructed us to “doubt not.” Doubt is like the opposing force to faith. Doubt chokes the seed of God’s kingdom. Doubt is carnal by nature. Join us today as we discuss how to stay in faith and not let doubt steal our hope.
"Your faith has made you well" - Jesus says a version of this more than half of the times he performed a healing miracle. No matter how you interpret this statement, we have a responsibility in the healing process. This is a challenging and difficult truth, but he said it. What should we do with this statement? The short answer is to put all of your trust and expectation in who he is and his willingness to heal you because he is always willing to heal you.Faith is not what you do to get something from God, faith is your heart's response to who he is. Faith is your receptivity to his will, which is always healing. When people weren't healed or couldn't perform a miracle, he cited a lack of faith. When people were healed, he acknowledged their faith as a factor. No matter how we look at these challenging truths, we must be willing to humble ourselves and do the work to enter the rest. The work is to believe, and apparently, according to Jesus, our capacity to believe is something we have control over.
They say every family has a story—including the good, the bad, and the ugly. The Little Girl Wins is the complicated, messy, and beautiful story of Jessica Strong and her father, Jimmie Bratcher. Theirs is a decades-long journey rooted in the pain of abandonment. Yet, by the grace of God, a story that ends in love, forgiveness, and redemption. This powerful memoir reaches into the depths of a daughter’s broken heart, and a father’s regret to show that even in the most painful of family situations, it is possible to move from hurt to healing. Jessica and Jimmie’s story is a testament that proves God can take hearts and a family that was once broken, and make it whole.
We walk by faith, not by sight. But our faith is not of our own making, our faith in God’s promises and purposes. To be faithful is to expect God’s promises to come to pass, and to yield to his leading to accomplish his purposes. Join us today as we discuss how to reason in our hearts that God is faithful.
There are laws that govern the spiritual Kingdom of God, just like there are laws of physics in the physical dimension. Like the law of faith or the law of sowing and reaping. We can discover how to cooperate with these laws and experience the benefits of those laws. Mark 11:24 says, Therefore, I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted to you. That is an amazing statement by Jesus. What does he mean? How can we apply this promise? Join us today as we discuss Faith, Hope and the Laws of the Kingdom of God.
Faith pleases God, but what is faith? Faith is a response to God’s purpose and a hopeful expectation of His promises. Join us this New Year’s Day as we discuss how to live a lifestyle of faith.
Jesus rejoined the kingdom of God to humanity. We are no longer separated from God because Jesus has torn the veil. God’s spiritual, eternal kingdom is making its way through every facet of creation, bringing all things together in Christ. Nations rise and fall, kingdoms come and go, but there will be no end to the increase of God’s kingdom.
There is an intangible aspect to prayer that transcends distance, location, space, and time. Though intangible, it still has an affect. Prayer is not just words spoken into the air, prayer is a declaration of God’s will has a physical effect independent from space or distance. Prayer is not magical, but it is powerful. Join us today as we discuss the phenomenon of non-locality in physics and how that sheds light on the power of prayer. Thanks for joining us today!
If we are complete in Christ and God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, why don’t we see our prayers always come to pass. Many chalk it up to God’s will, but that’s not a nuanced enough answer. Thanks for joining us today!
You don’t have to have a grand vision, you just need a philosophy of life that brings you into situations where you can follow God.
In Christ we have life. Even better than that - the life of Christ is in us. We have eternal life in Christ but Christ’s life is empowering us now, in this life. Join us today for Communion as we celebrate the life of Christ in us together.
Look how great God’s love is for you!! He sent Jesus to be judged in your place. Jesus bore the full penalty for your sin, which means you don’t ever have to worry about being judged by God, in this life or in the life to come. You don’t have to every worry about God rejecting you because Jesus secured your acceptance for eternal life. Join us today as we dig into several passages about Christ being judged on your behalf.
If you have beliefs about God, they should come from the instances where God described himself. Jesus clearly tells us the heart of the father in the gospels. God sent Jesus to give us eternal life. Join us today as we confirm our hearts in God’s desire for us.
Because we have peace with God, we can live under the power of grace, which we access by faith, which works by love. The more you are convinced of God's love for you, the more you will allow yourself to be empowered by grace to experience all God seeks to do through you.
Do you believe in angels? Do you believe in demons? Do you believe they are active in the world today? Jesus promised His spirit would come to live inside us and testify of Him when we are born again. His spirit inside us helps us not to be led astray by lying and deceiving spirits. Join us today and learn how to keep your hope anchored in Jesus and not be led astray by messages from the other side.
You don't need to re-order the spiritual world to receive the things that are yours in Christ. You do not need to go into the "courts of heaven" and plead cases and come out with victories that Jesus has already won. Everything God has to give you is in Christ, and Christ is in you.
Quantum Mechanics has shown us that there seems to be a different set of laws of physics at the quantum level. At that level, matter seems to respond to human observation rather than continuing along a deterministic course. From this understanding we can glean insight into the power of prayer and how our prayer is powerful. Like the Centurion soldier healed by Jesus sending the word, we are connected by an unseen field that can manifest the will of God through prayer.
You don't need to re-order the spiritual world to receive the things that are yours in Christ. You do not need to go into the "courts of heaven" and plead cases and come out with victories that Jesus has already won. Everything God has to give you is in Christ, and Christ is in you. Today we'll discuss the dynamics of the heart in walking in the things Jesus paid for. We pray this message equips you to rest in Christ's finished work and experience what God has given you in Christ.
We are in a battle, but the battle is for the hearts and minds of people. Our spiritual enemy has already been vanquished. He only has the power of deception. The way we win a nation or a single individual is not by fighting the devil, it’s by announcing the victory that’s already ours in Christ. Join us today as we discuss how to war from victory, not for victory.

We are more than mere humans, we have the same authority over the earthly realm that Christ has now that He lives in us. The real-world application of such a radical idea can only be understood spiritually, which simply means to be life minded. Join us today as we sort through the big idea of our authority in Christ.

There’s a lot of fear and uncertainty about the future in the world today. Most people are expecting the world to get worse due to the power of the enemy. But the church is powerful, we have the capacity to spread the kingdom of God and see his glory overtake the strategies of the enemy. It’s time for the church to step into its authority and show the world who God really is.
I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. - Philemon 6

The story of two sons who related to the father based on their behavior, rather than experiencing the love he has for them.
Christians whose theology is rooted in the finished work of Christ still have a tendency to get into the flesh when it comes to spiritual matters. We lead people to break curses, repent for hidden sins, break soul ties, rebuke spirits, etc. to obtain things that are already ours in Christ. Join us today and learn how to leave the realm of dead works concerning deliverance, inner healing, forgiveness, and healing from trauma.
Acts of the flesh are easy to spot. Dead works are not so easy because they might look like good works outwardly but have improper motives inwardly. Checking your motives makes it easier to repent from dead works. Spiritual dead works are harder to recognize because they look and sound spiritual but are actually based in the flesh or self-effort. Join us today and learn how to always be rooted in the finished work of Christ in all matters of salvation, deliverance and healing.
We are created to do good works, but we are to repent from dead works. Thanks for joining us today.

But it’s about more than just reading the Bible, it’s about assimilating the logic of the way God thinks into every aspect of your life. Hearing, believing and acting on the Word in your heart brings such sweet fruit. Join us today as we walk through the process of engaging the Word in our hearts.
The Holy Spirit is in you to transform you and work through you. We all want the power of God working through us for others, but few take the time to allow the indwelling Word of God to truly transform us. Join us today as we discuss wrestling with the Word in our hearts to see transformation.
Proverbs 13:12 says "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life.” We have an epidemic of sick hearts in the world today. Join us today as we discuss how to cultivate peace in our hearts so grace will spring forth and bring healing.

Thanks for joining us today, we hope today’s message is helpful and encouraging.
Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. 2 Corinthians 4:16 NKJV
You live in two realms, the physical and spiritual realms. You exist in both, and both exist in you. The spiritual realm is not far removed, it’s all around us and in us. Your inner man is in constant contact with the realm of renewal and can receive strength and wisdom from it whenever you choose. Thank you for joining us today as we discuss how to live from the inner new man continually being renewed.
The holy spirit is more than just the gift of tongues, it is about God anointing the new temple, which his body.
Your faith is tested when you are tempted. Sometimes you pass the test. Sometimes, you don’t and give in. The good news is, as James 1:13 says, the test is not from God. You can ask God for help, and he will help you without finding fault or rebuking you. God will give you wisdom regarding standing in the spiritual gift of patience until you are free from temptation and become more mature in that area. Join us today to discover the power of patience over temptation.
The Word of God is life for every aspect of our being. It not only shows us who God is as revealed in Christ, it shows us our very identity. We must use it to renew our minds in a deep way that transcends behavior. Thanks for joining us today as we discuss the deeper aspects of repentance and the power of the Word of God.

Jesus became sin for us so we could be righteous in him. We have been raised with Him and seated in heavenly places. We are citizens of Heaven, equipped with the power of his spirit, charged with a message. A message to tell people it’s safe to come to God, God is not mad at you, he loves you. Listen in today and discover the power of reconciliation.
After Christ’s resurrection, He entered the Heavenly Holy of Holies to offer His own blood as a ransom for humanity. All who say yes to His generous offering are forever eternal in Him. We died to sin and death in Him and are now eternal citizens of His glorious kingdom. Listen in today to hear more about how you are hidden with Christ in God forever.
The beautiful story of Jesus is that he came to redeem mankind and set us free from sin and death. God made him like us so in him, we could become like Jesus. He paid for our sins on the cross. He overcame death and Hades. And he rose triumphantly, gaining all authority in Heaven, Earth, and under the Earth. He now presides in Heaven as our eternal high priest, forever praying for us. God has good plans for you and Jesus is praying for you. Join us today and renew your mind to how good God is.
What happened once Jesus died on the cross? Some say he went straight to the Father. Some say he went into Hades as a conquering king to defeat the devil. But there’s a much more profound truth. Jesus passed into the grave to suffer your death. His faith eventually overcame death, hades, and the enemy as God prepared to rescue him from the pit. Join us today to hear more about Christ's grave experience and what it means for you.
The death, burial, and resurrection of Christ is the most crucial event in human history. We see the value of humanity to God and the lengths to which he went to make a way of deliverance from sin and death. So much was accomplished at the cross. Join us for this series as we discover the power of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.

The way you think is a matter of life and death. Romans 8:6 says it this way, “to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace, but to set the mind on the flesh is death.” To set your mind on the flesh is to think the way the world thinks, excluding the working of God’s spirit. The spiritual mind considers God’s ways and promises before making choices. The mind that is disciplined to be aware of identity in Christ and the promises of God will be at peace and experience life and peace. But the person who thinks the way the world thinks, using carnal logic, will tend toward death. Join us today to discuss how to be spiritually minded to experience life and peace.
The world is broken and people are hurting. We, as followers of Christ, have the solution - the peace of God in our hearts. When our hearts and minds are experiencing the peace of God, we will trust and obey Him more clearly and have margin in our lives to help others. You don’t have to do big things for God, it’s the little, daily things that are motivated by love that bring Him glory. When your heart and mind are at peace, you will be the salt and light He said you are.
God’s power is at work in you to give you strength and abilities. You don’t have to convince God to give it to you, but you do have to appropriate it. Join us today as we chat about laying hold of God’s power with your heart.
People misquote passages like “God’s ways are higher than our ways,” as a justification to be confused about God’s will. The fact is, if you are a Christian, God’s Spirit lives in you and is teaching you God’s ways. He even gave us a book to renew our minds so we would know his ways and be able to teach others his ways. Join us today as we discuss how to know God’s ways.
Jesus calls his followers salt of the earth and light of the world. Salt brings flavor, or fulfillment, and light brings clarity, or revelation. We are quite simply part of God’s story, life is not about us, it’s about him. We, as His followers, are to help people find fulfillment and enlightenment in him. Our only strategy is walking in love and communicating the Gospel. The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation. To be salt and light, we illuminate the Gospel so it can help people come out of the darkness and into his light. Thanks for joining us today.
Your life is not your own for you were bought with a price. When we hear these statements we can slip into a performance mindset. Yes, we do need to lay our lives down for the sake of the Gospel, but it's a natural process as we lead with love. Love is the greatest attraction to Jesus, it's our strategy. Love will win the world.
God has great meaning for your life, it's time to live from that identity. He considers you his bride and he would not choose a toxic bride. Thanks for joining us.
Your life is not your own, for you were bought with a price. If you don’t know your freedom in Christ, this statement can be a source of shame for you. Christians have been made to feel like they owe God, and the way you repay him is to be as good as possible. The good news is, God loves you no matter what. Once you are secure in your freedom in Christ, you become free to live in a way that honors him in everything you do. Not out of obligation but out of gratitude. Our new series will discuss the value God places on our lives and how we can respond to his love for us by glorifying him in everything we do. Today we will discuss what it means to give God glory. We pray today’s message is a blessing to you and inspires you to follow God more deeply.
Why did Jesus come to earth? We know Jesus was sent to die for our sin and give us the gift of eternal life. But there’s so much more in his incarnation and atonement. Join us today for a look into the cross of Christ.
In the Book of Isaiah we learn that God’s servant would not come as a conquering king, he would come as a suffering servant to deliver mankind form the darkness and rebellion of the human condition from the inside out. Today we will look at the Mission of Jesus and how you fit into the big picture.
Isaiah prophesied of a coming servant that would restore God’s people and bring healing to the nations. Jesus claimed that identity when He stepped into His public ministry when He said, "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn.” He was reading from Isaiah chapter 61 when He made this announcement about Himself. This year, our Christmas messages will focus on the mission of the Servant of God.
Believers HAVE BEEN DELIVERED from the power of darkness, but what do you do when the enemy attacks? You magnify the supremacy of Christ, acknowledge your identity in Him, stand firm in your authority in Christ, and don’t allow your thoughts to run away. God’s spirit of love, power, and sound mind will strengthen you until the enemy leaves you alone. Join us today for the final message in this series.
Spiritual warfare is not when you wrestle with demons, it’s when you wrestle with you own thoughts, to make sure they’re in alignment with the Word of God regarding Christ’s authority and your identity in him. When those are in place you simply stand and resist by resting in Christ, and the enemy will flee. A key to resting is a clear conscience. Join us today to discover the power of a clear conscience in the mental battle of spiritual warfare.
Discover the truth about so-called generational curses. Jesus was cursed on the cross so you could be set free from the power of darkness. You don't have to worry if your great grandfather was a free-mason, that has no power in your life. However, familiar spirits do exist and they will try to perpetuate the same lies and sin habits that your ancestors struggled with. Join us today and hear good news about what Jesus did for you so you can be forever free from generational sin habits.
Luciferian Doctrines of Demons (#3 in Know Your Enemy Series) - Clint Byars by Forward Church Sermons
Last week we discussed the origin of demons, this week we will establish a strategy to always win over the attacks of the enemy. We do not fight with force, we resist with authority. Our authority in Christ is our protection against any evil, lying spirit. Your role is not to shipwreck your confidence in Christ. The enemy has no power in your life when you know who you are in Christ.
What are demons and why are they here. In the first message of our new series, we will cover the history of demons, evil spirits, and dark forces. As the series progresses we will discuss how you can always win spiritual warfare and help others live free from demonic influence and deception.
We are so excited about what God is doing on the earth through the body of Christ. The good news of the kingdom is on the rise and people are waking up to righteousness
The mystery has been revealed to the saints, Christ in us the hope of glory. The apostle Paul warns us to beware of things that will try to cheat us from experiencing our completeness in Christ.
Not everything that happens is part of God’s plan. Angels rebel, people sin, and death spreads. These things happen because God gave us free will. As a result we see great suffering. But you don’t have to embrace all suffering. The only suffering God endorses is the persecution of faith. All other suffering, like depression, sickness, and loss are in the world through the destruction we’ve caused. God has made us great and precious promises to partake of his divine nature, we can fight to believe for those promises, even in the midst of suffering. Today we’ll discuss when you should embrace suffering and when you should stand firm and expect to see God’s promises for good in your life.
Pastor George Odero of Forward Church Kenya is with us today. We have been working with George for 10 years, planting churches, helping poor communities, and spreading the gospel of the kingdom throughout Kenya.
We pray that you are encouraged and enriched by the word of God. Guest speaker Lyle Camp presents his message: Devil Bad, God Good
Good morning and welcome to Forward Church! We pray that you are encouraged and enriched by the word of God. Guest speaker Lucas Miles presents his message: persevering in the truth.
From the beginning of time, God has desired to live with his people and walk among them. We brought sin into the world and became separated from God. Jesus repaired the breach through his own body. God now dwells in us and walks with us. He does this to bless us and lead us to be a blessing to the world. God is with you to be a blessing. As you go about your day, ask yourself how you can be a blessing to people which will bring glory to God.
Sometimes we pray and don’t feel like anything is happening. So over time we pray less and come to believe it doesn’t make much of a difference. But we must have faith in the power of prayer. God has given mankind authority over the planet and the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. Prayer is a way to affect the world with God’s will, which is always. We must continue to pray from a place of hope. Pray for one another. Pray for your city. Pray from a place of authority and speak the will of Heaven into your life and the world around you. It’s not too late, we can make a difference.
We can initiate a new great awakening by being doers of the Word and not hearers alone. Doing the Word prepares our hearts to live in the finished work of Christ. We are called to be doers of the Word and not hearers alone. Why? So we can please God and get into Heaven? No. Because the world needs to see examples of the righteousness of God and they need to hear the Gospel, the good news of the kingdom of God. You are God’s message. You are part of the Gospel awakening. It’s time to commit to living the Word and show the world the transformative power of the Word in a human life.
The spiritual practices of contemplation and meditation are the catalyst to understanding and transformation. As we hold God’s Word in our minds and hearts, His logos, His word, His logic emanates into our thinking, emotions, and choices. It’s a way to reprogram our set points. Be still and know God becomes more than a lovely thought, it becomes a way of life to be led by God.
You can not improve on your salvation, but you can experience more of it. You are complete in Christ in your spirit, but your mind, soul, and body can use a little renewal. We can engage in spiritual practices and disciplines to keep our hearts soft toward God and keep our minds renewed so we don’t limit His will in our lives. This week we’ll explore the discipline of prayer. God already knows what we need before we ask. Prayer is more about declaring God’s glory than it is asking God to do things for us. Thank you for joining us today!
Life is hard sometimes. Things happen that are so disappointing that it affects how we make decisions for the rest of our lives. We often give up on ourselves and slip into a survival mentality, believing that living a fulfilled life is not for us. While life may be challenging, we have a promise from God that our joy can be full, even amid disappointment, fear, and failure. Join us today and be encouraged.
The world is in need to hope. When we minister life from the power of the Spirit rather than condemnation from the letter of the Law, we will see the Gospel work. The Spirit empowers us to bring life to a hurting world. So be renewed today in your commission to walk in the ministry of reconciliation. You can be confident in Jesus to transform people. They’re waiting for an invitation to be loved by God. You represent God! Go and be a bringer of life!
Under the Old Covenant, the priests would make sacrifices and intercession on behalf of Israel’s forgiveness. They had to do this continually because the people kept breaking the Law, and they themselves were not perfect. But Jesus secured a New Covenant in his blood because he is perfect. He is now our high priest under this New and Better Covenant. He does not have to continually make sacrifices and ask for God’s forgiveness on our behalf. Instead, his intercession on our behalf focuses on strengthening us to receive the benefits and riches of God’s kingdom, so we are equipped and blessed to spread the Gospel. Jesus prays for us, through us. How does he pray through us? Through the gift of tongues. This message may give you a different perspective on what the Apostle Paul calls “praying with his spirit.” You can pray with your spirit, and when you do, you are yielding the power in your tongue to allow Jesus to pray for you through you.
Join us to hear Mike Crane talk about freedom and liberty established in our heart of grace.
Being baptized with the spirit and being filled with the spirit are two different things. When you hear the Gospel and believe, the Spirit baptizes you into the body of Christ and Christ immerses you in His spirit who lives in you from then on, never to leave you. You receive the Holy Spirit when you are born again. To be filled with the Spirit is when that indwelling Spirit comes upon you to empower, strengthen and lead you. The spirit never leaves you but His empowerment may not always be resting upon you. Let’s chat about how to yield to His influence by grace through faith.
When does the baptism with the Holy Spirit happen? Can you be born again without this baptism? The truth is, when you hear and believe the Gospel, the Spirit baptizes you into Christ and Christ puts His spirit in you, they happen at the same time. The baptism with the Holy Spirit is not a separate event. You don’t have to wait to receive the Holy Spirit. From then on you can be filled with the Spirit or influenced by the spirit. Today we discuss these topics, we pray the create a firm foundation in the finished work of Jesus.
Hebrews 6 gives us a list of the foundations of the faith. Baptisms is one of those foundations. Today we’ll discuss the difference between water baptism, baptism into Christ and baptism with the Holy Spirit. We’ll answer when each of these happens and what they’re for. We pray you are encouraged and your faith is strengthened as you watch today.
The Holy Spirit lives in you. He is continually speaking to you. You hear him better than you think. I know that because when you were born again, God placed his spirit in your and gave you a new heart that is tuned to his voice. You hear him all the time, you probably just overlook his voice because you’re expecting something more phenomenal. He is practical and makes it easy to follow him if your mind is in agreement with his instruction. Walkthrough this powerful exercise with us and gain a new confidence that you can truly hear God for yourself!
The Holy Spirit lives in you to bear fruit. He is seeking to form Christ in you so you’ll be a blessing to the people of the nations. God’s desire is to have a family that he leads from their hearts by his spirit. It’s an ingenious plan to bless the world through relationship. As we yield to him and allow him to shape our entire being, we transform into a global family that continues to increase God’s kingdom. The world needs a body of Christ that is fully yielded to the Holy Spirit. Be encouraged today as we focus on the good news of God’s spirit working in you today.
The Holy Spirit lives in you to teach, comfort, help, strengthen, lead, convict, give power, remind you of Jesus' words, prays for you through you, bear fruit, set you free, seal you in God with Christ, guarantee salvation, bear witness about Jesus, gives utterance for tongues, influence, give life to your physical body, knows God's thoughts, bears witness with your spirit that you are God’s child, washes you, sanctifies you and justifies you, makes you a minister of the new covenant, searches you, and blesses you. Discover how to hear and follow him in this enlightening sermon.
Happy Mothers Day! We honor and celebrate moms on this special day.
Thank you for joining us at Forward Church today!! We hope you leave feeling better about you and God.
God has purified our spirits by the blood of Christ, and he has given us a new heart. But we must keep our hearts clear before the Lord. Not to be accepted, but to stay sensitive to His Lordship and leadership in our lives. Walk with us through Psalm 19 and discover the power of honesty before the Lord. He's on your side but we must be submitted to His precepts in our hearts. Discover the power of allowing God to test your heart.
Psalm 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts; 24 And see if there be any hurtful way in me, And lead me in an everlasting way.
You must be honest with yourself if you want to consistently hear and follow God. God speaks the language of truth. His leading will always be rooted in truth. If there is any self-deception in your heart, you will miss God and blame Him for the troubles you brought on yourself. If we're not honest with ourselves we will not be submissive to God's truth when it arises in our hearts. We'll hold on to our justifications and excuses and reinforce the death in our lives. In this sermon, we will journey together by allowing God to search our hearts and reveal to us areas where we are hindering his grace in our lives.
Join us today as we bear our hearts to God and make a commitment to always tell ourselves the truth as we remain open to His transformative power.
You know that Jesus was unjustly arrested and hung on a cross to rise again three days later, but do you know what happened in the grave and in heaven after he rose again? What went on in heaven immediately after the resurrection of Jesus is incredibly good news for us! Join us for a look at the spiritual side of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We Are More Than Forgiven, We Are Co - Heirs With Jesus - Clint Byars by Forward Church Sermons
You are saved by grace through faith, and you stay saved by grace through faith, not through the Law. You don't start a spiritual journey with God based on the free gift of righteousness, then keep it by your works.
Yes, your salvation will produce good works, but the presence of those works is not the security of your salvation, Jesus is. Jesus is your once and forever sacrifice and scapegoat for your sin, as well as the one that holds your place in the everlasting covenant secure. Rest in him.
The Word of God is truth. We can compare our thoughts and beliefs to scripture to see if we believe the truth. Sometimes we will bend scripture to fit into our mindsets, just look at my posts and comments, you see people misunderstanding my point regularly because they're looking through their preconceptions. I want us to change the way we think so our mindsets are closer to God's truth. That's called repentance. The Gospel is the pretext through which we should filter everything. As Jesus said, we need to repent and believe the Gospel. He's not saying quit sinning and believe the Gospel, he's saying change the way you think to believe the Gospel. The actions will follow.
We are to love one another to the degree that we identify with each other’s struggles. Paul warns us against comparing ourselves to one another in times of division. He says that if we will empathize with each other and bear one another’s burdens, we will not pridefully compare ourselves to one another.
There is a cloud of witnesses that has gone before us fighting the good fight of faith. Their lives are living epistles that this fight of faith is worth everything. I pray this message inspires to fully surrender to Jesus and give Him every part of your life.
If we are going to stand in faith we have to be prepared to fight the good fight of faith.
When we fail to remember where we came from we fail to stand. There is a significant lesson for us to learn about what precedes standing in authority that we have in Christ. The power to stand is ultimately found in a crucified life under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

You can live a life of deep purpose and meaning when you are willing to take responsibility for your place in the Body of Christ in the earth.
Clint and George met in Kenya in 2014. They struck up a discipleship relationship that resulted in launching Pastor George into pastoral ministry. Pastor George and his wife Leah registered Forward Ministry in Kenya through which they have planted 5 Forward Churches, with 30 other pastors under his mentorship. The churches are in Ongata Rongai near Nairobi, Rongo, and Rangwe in southwestern Kenya. God is working greatly through Pastor George and Forward Church Kenya.
Righteousness means "as it should be." Evil means "as it ought not to be." When something or someone is righteous, they are as they should be in God's eyes. When a cultural system is righteous, it is operating as it should be in God's eyes.
How does this apply to our lives?
There is a righteousness regarding our identity as children of God. Once we place our trust in the finished work of Christ, God cleanses us and places His Spirit in us, making us righteous before Him. It's a state of existence He gives us.
What value does God place on the blood of His Son? That's a good question right.
Experience freedom from shame, guilt and condemnation by understanding the value that God places on the blood of His dear Son.

Believing in the name of Jesus and loving people helps your heart stay confident toward God. When you’re confident toward God, your heart is in a position to receive from Him. It’s also true that your heart is not in a condition to receive from Him if you are not confident toward Him.
The issue is not God’s willingness to give you what you ask/pray for, it’s the confidence of your heart that makes the difference. To put it simply, living God’s way brings confidence.
It’s important not to be over-confident and slip into self-righteousness. It’s also important to notice that keeping His commandments isn’t what causes Him to give you what you ask for. Receiving from God is a matter of the heart. Jesus teaches this same idea in Mark 4 and Matthew 13, the condition of your heart determines the degree to which you will receive from Him.

If we are not walking in love toward fellow believers, we are walking in darkness. If we are in darkness with fellow believers, how can we hope to reach an unbelieving world?
There is too much division in the body of Christ, it’s time to put the kingdom first and stop identifying ourselves through political parties, race, economic status, or anything else worldly that causes division.
Jesus often identified that there were those who had ears to hear but did not hear and eyes to see but they did not see. Jesus carried a perspective in His life that was able to hear and see spiritual truths. For us to be able to experience transformation and be open to hear and see truth we have to have new perspectives. We have to put off the old and put on the new.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart... — Ecclesiastes 3:11a
I don't suggest you follow your heart, I suggest you follow God, but you do that from the heart. So you want to make sure your heart is receptive to His leading.
You do this by learning to live from your spiritual senses and desires. You see with the eyes of your heart. You receive revelation with the eyes of your heart. You can taste and see that what the Lord is giving you is good for you. You can hear His voice in your inner man/heart. You already know you can feel his presence. I think, at times, I have even smelled a sweet aroma related to His manifested presence.
God made a promise to Abraham, "your seed will be a blessing to all nations." That seed is Christ. Christ is a blessing to all nations, specifically Christ in you. You are a joint-heir with Jesus and God wants the body of Christ to be the agent through which he blesses the whole world.
To be spiritually minded is life and peace, but to be carnally minded is death. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. What you think and what you speak matter. Especially your thoughts about yourself and your words about yourself. Fortunately, God gave us a secret weapon to bypass our thoughts and words, the gift of praying with our spirit. In this message, Clint helps you understand the gift of tongues and how to use it to allow God to plant seeds of life and peace in your life.
To overcome the deceitful desires of flesh-based thinking, you have to walk in the spirit. To walk in the spirit you must first have to think spiritually. Being spiritually minded simply means to be mindful of spirit. A life-view that places the kingdom of God as our true reality is the kind of view that lends itself to spiritual thinking. You don't have to figure out how to get into a different dimension, rather become mindful that God placed a different dimension in you.
You have desires. God-given physical, emotional and spiritual desires. All of those lusts or desires can be fulfilled in healthy ways. But as you are fully aware, you can fulfill emotional and physical desires in unhealthy, sinful ways. James tells us in his letter that temptation in our lives comes from our natural desires. It's up to you how you will seek to satisfy those desires.

When you're tempted or under a trial, turn to God's spirit within you and allow patience to bear fruit. Patience will eliminate most of your temptations. If you can just want a few minutes, or however long you need to clear your emotions and desires from the forefront, you can make a decision based on wisdom rather than emotion and desire.

God has the utmost respect for you. He has a high sense of value for you. You are worth his own life. You are worthy to be treated with dignity because of the kind of being he made you. Being made in God’s image doesn’t mean you look like him, it means you are a being that’s worthy to be in his class. You are not a worm, you are a valuable creature, born of God’s image, carrying his presence everywhere you go.
What if you believed that about yourself? What if you believed that about others?
The Apostle Peter lied to the face of God and didn't feel worthy to be loved by God, yet Jesus still pursued him and affirmed his calling. God will not give up on you when you fail and feel distant from God. He will still love you and love you back into productivity.

The world’s systems can fall apart in a matter of days. Things we depend on can crumble overnight. Then what? What do you do if you lose everything? Answer: Remember the Lord and forget not his benefits. God sees ahead and makes provision, and our job is to stay receptive to him, so we’ll follow his leading into provision.

With freedom from sin comes personal responsibility. Believers have the personal ability to respond to God’s grace rather than continue to live in sin. Response ability.
Under the New Covenant, we are free from sin. We are free from sin in that God is no longer holding our sins against us.
Paul explains in Romans 6 that freedom from sin doesn’t give one an excuse to continue in sin; it’s just the opposite. It’s the opposite because we are under grace.
If you have a traditional understanding of grace, you will not grasp the power of “under grace.” Grace is traditionally defined as unmerited favor. It’s equated to mercy. The sentiment is that God shows you grace even though you deserve punishment. That’s incorrect. Grace and mercy are different. Mercy is undeserved forgiveness, but grace is inner strength.

You will not work out your own life’s equations and end up with correct solutions if you try to figure them out with natural logic. If God’s solutions seem illogical to you, you know you are thinking carnally or naturally. If God’s solutions or promises seem plausible to you, you are thinking spiritually. Keep on thinking that way. In other words, stay in faith.

If you're in trouble or under pressure, you can look at what God has said until it becomes alive in you now. You'll know the word is alive in you when it becomes believable. When it's believable, all things are possible.
When God's word is alive in you, you begin to see his options and hear his leading. The word of God can lie dormant in your intellect, but it's up to you to open your heart in such a way that it gets in your heart and connects with his living spirit.
Yes, God will speak to you. Yes, God can and will give you a new word, but it will always validate his written word.

Prayer is not magic; it just shifts your inner man back to dependence on God. Prayer is a mind-renewal process. Pray until God’s promises are believable, then don’t back down and don’t lose heart.
Prayer is a time to turn your attention to God’s transformative and powerful spirit within you and yield to the shaping of his hands in your inner man. Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not envy or boast. It is not proud, rude, or self-seeking. It is not easily angry and keeps no record of past mistakes.
1 Corinthians 13:4-5
To Jesus, judgment is when you “look at the speck of sawdust in another person’s eye.” He says STOP IT! Don’t do that! When you look at the speck you no longer see that person, you only see the speck. The speck is whatever issue or behavior you are judging about that person.
His remedy is to remove the plank in your own eye so you can see clearly to help them remove the speck from their eye. The plank in your eye is your judgment of that person. Your judgment is clouding you from seeing the person apart from the speck, you only see the problem. Remove your judgment and you will see clearly to help them.

Most people just want to get their point across. We often ignore the other person but pretend we're listening. We selectively hear what we want to respond to but often miss their meaning. Most people listen with the intent to reply, not to understand. We prepare in our minds what we're going to say while they’re still speaking. WE FILTER EVERYTHING THROUGH OURSELVES. Consequently, we decide prematurely what the other person means before he/she finishes communicating. This is called judgment.

When you confess God’s word you are saying the same thing God is saying about whatever you’re confessing. You are coming into agreement with God. You are professing his wisdom, logic, promises and faithfulness over your life and circumstances.

When you remember that you’re forgiven and God has cleansed you from your sins, you are free to live untethered. From there on you have to guard your heart against the deceitfulness of riches and the cares of this world, as well as not yield your body to sin. You do so to keep your heart and conscience clear to hear and follow God’s instructions.

Too many Christians think they have to become better as if they’re not already complete in him and they need to become something more than they already are. More righteous, more sanctified, more holy, etc… Peter affirms that you’re already cleansed, you’re already all those things, so if you aren’t living that way, go back and affirm who you are and what he’s done.

Life happens. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s not. Sometimes it’s an unexpected blessing, sometimes it’s an unfortunate loss. Sometimes it’s welcoming a new child into your home, sometimes it’s losing a loved one. No matter what, we have every reason to stay confident toward God, knowing that he only has good plans for us.

There is an empowerment from the Holy Spirit to deny your rights and walk in the Spirit. This grace only comes through an intimate relationship with the Lord. If we can change our perspectives of how we view the word of God in conjunction to ourselves than we will begin to experience the abundant life that is promised to us in the good news of Jesus Christ.

When I think about Jesus preparing a place for us, it makes me think of his prayer “your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” It’s something he wants for us.
I think about what the garden of Eden must have been like, in all its perfection. I think of what it would have been like to see Jesus transform and openly speak with Moses and Elijah. It makes me think of all the supernatural encounters with angels ordinary men and women in the Bible experienced.
It makes me think Jesus must want us to experience Heaven if he’s going through the process of preparing it for us. Like…right now, maybe he’s walking around Heaven inspecting things to make sure they’re just right for you. Maybe he’s walking with your loved ones that have gone before you and they’re excited for you to see what he’s prepared for you. Maybe they’re giving him insight into what you like, helping him make everything just right. WOW!!!

It is absolutely vital that you know the effects of believing the Gospel, i.e. you get a new heart. You don’t have two natures fighting in you. You don’t have a black dog and a white dog barking at your heels in you. You are the righteousness of God in Christ! You are no longer a sinner by nature, you are a cleansed and justified child of the living God!

Obedience from the heart pleases God. Obedience that is the fruit of a human heart responding to his love is what God wants. God is pleased with the kind of obedience that seeks to preserve the freedom he offers in Christ. God isn’t impressed with an obedience that is rooted in keeping rules, his heart is after those who have been transformed by his love and now only desire to bring glory to his name. The good news is, God gave you a new heart that has the capacity to actually obey him.

Kanye West is a popular rapper that just released his 9th record. This record is different than his previous records because it’s all about Jesus. In fact, the title is Jesus Is King. The record is at the top of the Billboard charts in spite of people telling Kanye a Gospel record would “kill his career.” People from all walks of life and all sections of popular culture are talking about Kanye and Kanye is talking about Jesus.

You don’t get to decide your own legacy. You set your goals, you live your life but history will judge your legacy. Funny thing is, your legacy is less about what you’ve done and more about how you treated people. Even if you’re known for what you do, it’s still judged by how what you did affected people.
History will judge your legacy but God will judge your works. Your deeds and actions matter. God will judge your works at the resurrection. The good news is your salvation is determined by your faith in Christ alone, but your works determine your rewards.

Above all...love, it's how we'll reach the world. I pray that the body of Christ becomes the safest and most honest place on the planet. I pray that we are able to help people but challenge them to engage in transformation. I pray that our love inspires action within people, action toward God and a more healthy life for themselves and their loved ones. I pray that a compassion rises up in God's people to walk in kindness and mercy toward the world but can unashamedly call people up into righteousness and wisdom. I pray we, as believers, glorify God by allowing Christ live and love through us.

Conceiving faith is a type of faith that is birthed out of intimacy with God. There is no other foundation to build but that of relationship with Jesus. Our identity is ultimately made up of things that we have become intimate with at a heart level whether good or bad. Its imperative to know what Jesus has done for us so that we can enter into His presence with confidence and expectation.

Grace is not just the power you can live from to overcome temptation and sin, it’s the power you are nourished by to live within the power of the righteousness that God gave you in Christ. He has made you the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus but his active grace in you strengthens you to live in that righteousness.

Pastors George and Leah Odero are the lead pastors of Forward Church Kenya. FCK currently has 2 locations; Ongata Rongai (near Nairobi) and Obanda, which is in Southwest Kenya.
Pastor Clint and Pastor George connected during one of Clint’s mission trips to Kenya and a relationship grew over a few years. There’s a longer story about the origin of Forward Church Kenya in 2014, but we’ll just say for now both pastors heard God and now much fruit is occurring as a result of this relationship.
George is well established in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is a dynamic communicator who is pastoring a local church as well as training other pastors in the Gospel. Forward Church also supports FCK’s mission trips to East Pokot to the unreached villagers on Mt. Paka.
We don’t realize it but we make many of our decisions out of fear, especially men. We don’t necessarily feel afraid, we’re now sitting in the corner balled up biting our nails, we don’t have chills running down our spine, but we have let fear constrict our willingness to stand on God’s promises because of fear associated with responsibility.
Responsibility, that’s mostly a good thing but it can cause us to limit our interaction with God. This, of course, applies to women but I feel it on my heart to talk to men this week.

Understanding how your heart is involved in sowing the Word of God in your life.
May you turn your heart towards the Father in all circumstances and experience the peace of Christ rising from within as you commune with Him. May you lay down who you used to be and put on who you are now in Jesus, the righteousness of God in Christ. May you receive the wisdom that God is freely giving you and access His divine influence in your heart to apply it in your life. May you invite that influence into your everyday life and become shaped by Him by planting His word in your heart. May you be still and know that He is God. May you THRIVE + PROSPER!

“Within ten days George Washington Carver had “discovered” more than 300 uses for the peanut. One trip to that special place in the woods to talk with God not only enhanced race relations at the time but also fundamentally changed the agricultural industry as we know it today. All because he listened to and felt the spirit of God in his life.” (Andy Andrews)
God’s response made sense to Carver because this was his field, God met him where he was. God expanded his understanding of an area Carver was already familiar with. Like Moses who used the staff that was already in his hands and like the widow who approached Elisha, the oil she already had was multiplied, God expanded something Carver was already involved with.
This is a lesson for us, we often wait for God to do a “new thing” in our lives when he’s actually seeking to increase and expand that which he’s already placed in us.

All things are possible for those who believe. You don’t believe with your brain, you believe with your hearts (Romans 10:10). Your heart or inner man is paramount in experiencing God in this life. God wants you to increase the capacity of your heart to trust him so he can move through you in greater ways and see his will come to pass. The more confident you are in his character and his word, the more you are able to allow him to do through you. And what he wants to do is increase and enrich you in every way so you can be generous in every way.

God wants you to personally thrive and prosper so you enjoy the benefits of being his child and so you can be a blessing to others. You can trust your decisions and walk in confidence. You don’t have to second guess everything or stress yourself out if you’re walking in the will of God. God is not withholding wisdom and instruction from you, he freely gives them to all who will listen. What it does it take to have your ear tuned to his voice? What does it take for your heart to be receptive to his leading? Walking upright, with integrity, being a loyal and dependable person.
These character traits do not earn the favor of God, they create the right environment inwardly to hear God. God speaks in the frequency of purity, righteousness, uprightness and so on, you will hear him and follow him effortlessly when your inner world matches the frequency of his voice.

We must guard our hearts against lies, no matter how irrational the fear may seem. We must take great precaution to protect our minds and hearts against the things that can plant seeds of death in our hearts. AND we must be intentional to plant the kinds of seeds that will protect us and guard our hearts. We must plant seeds from God’s Word that resonate His truth throughout our entire being.

I am pleased to introduce to you my friend Sebastian Mathews. Sebastian and his family began attending Forward Church in January 2019. They were familiar with grace and the New Covenant message but they did not know how to actuate grace. After a series of frustrations and a devastating loss, they discovered not only the freedom of grace but the power of grace. God’s influence in our hearts is not just unmerited favor, it’s a power that brings about radical transformation in very radical ways. Sebastian teaches what he’s learned and gives a testimony of how it has given way to incredible fruit in just about every area of his life.

Toxic Christianity encourages self-examination that keeps you bound by guilt and shame. Toxic self-examination is rooted in a legalistic mindset and predominantly comes from a misunderstanding of Paul’s admonishment of the church at Corinth in 1 Corinthians 11. Because of this misunderstanding, millions of Christians have been deprived of the power of communion. Toxic self-examination has filtered its way into many believers lives.
I have some good news for you, you don’t have to examine yourself to find sin, I can promise you, you commit some kind of sin every day. Sin is defined as this, anything that is not of faith. I can assure you, every day, you do something that is not of faith. But remember, you have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ who is seated at the right hand of God, ensuring our eternal life in him.

Science cannot solve the ultimate mystery of nature. And that is because, in the last analysis, we ourselves are a part of the mystery that we are trying to solve. — Max Planck - Nobel Prize in Physics winner, Originator of Quantum Theory I like to understand things from a scientific perspective, even spiritual things. I think we can apply the rules of science to matters of the spirit, we just have to think spiritually to understand the conclusions. There is a consistent physics to spirit. Physics is one of the most fundamental scientific disciplines, and its main goal is to understand how the universe behaves. I believe that the spirit of God within us will teach us the physics of Heaven as we trust God and grow in our identity in Him.
The spiritual spectrum is accessible now. The kingdom of Heaven is at hand, it is within. It is absolutely possible to understand the spiritual spectrum through our scientific understanding of the created world.

WOULD YOU LIKE A FORMULA TO DEVELOP GREAT FAITH? THE KIND OF FAITH SEES THE MANIFESTATION OF EVERYTHING YOU ASK FOR? The truth is, there is no formula, but there are some necessary ingredients to great faith. #1 key ingredient to developing great faith is to live a life where your heart doesn’t condemn you. #2 is to keep Christ’s commandments. #3 is to ACT on that commandment to love people.
Before you think I’m presenting a legalistic formula that’s based on performance, keep watching, I’m actually talking about what’s going on in your heart and how to develop confidence toward God.

God’s promises that are available in Christ are various and plentiful, touching on just about every aspect of life. He makes promises for salvation, provision, guidance, peace, health, and much more.
All believers believe that God can heal. All Jesus followers agree that Jesus healed people. But we disagree on whether God always wants everyone fully healed.
Have you prayed for multiple and seen some healed but others not, why does that happen? There are only two stories in the New Testament that address the “why.”
https://www.clintbyars.com/blog/2019/5/21/offended-at-jesus
Prayer changes things. Prayer changes you and your world around you, but it doesn’t change God. Prayer doesn’t cause God to respond and give you what you want or need, he’s already done that. God doesn’t have anything else to give to you. The only thing God has left to give you is wisdom, revelation and guidance on how to live within everything he’s already given you. In fact, he gave you his spirit, the essence of his very own life, so you would understand what he’s given you in Christ.

You have two sets of eyes, the ones in your head and the ones in your heart. The eyes in your head help you see the outer world while the eyes of your heart help you see God. However, the eyes of your heart can also look at your outer world.
The obvious goal is to keep the eyes of your heart focused on God. This is walking by faith, this is how you look not at the world, this is how you set your heart on things above, this is how you have great faith, and this is how you stay in perfect peace.

Is God evil? Does God do evil? I’m sure you would answer “no” to both questions. Now let me ask you this question… Is God in control? Your answer may change. One more question… Is God controlling everything? Your answer should be the same answer to “is God in control?”
God being in “control” means he’s controlling everything. I want you to think through what you believe about God’s sovereignty and how he’s choosing to exercise his authority in your life and in the world.

Toxic religion burns you out, it causes you to always feel incomplete like you’ll never be enough. The truth is you are complete in Christ, you are fully accepted in Christ already!!
Jesus beautifully articulates God’s heart toward you in these passages. Jesus assures you that he’s not seeking to condemn you, he’s offering rest and guidance. Toxic religion says that God is allowing your life to be difficult for some grand plan. Jesus says life with him is easy and light.
https://www.clintbyars.com/blog/2019/4/22/allow-gods-light-to-expose-everything-in-you
Lack is at the root of addiction. Feeling like something is missing and trying to fill that gap with toxic substances or behaviors is the engine for addiction. We see that same cycle in religion. Religion is the king of causing you to feel like something is missing. Under religion, you’re never good enough and you can never do enough to keep God happy. Most people never say it this clearly but they believe that God’s happiness is based on your behavior. This lie is the root or toxic religion.
https://www.clintbyars.com/blog/2019/4/15/toxic-religion-is-destroyed-through-inner-balance
You would never say self-righteous things like, “I was really good today, now God owes me a blessing.” Or, “I didn’t sin this week so now I’m more righteous.” You would never say those things because you know your righteousness isn’t a result of your behavior, it’s a gift from God through faith in the finished work of Christ.
But you might say, “I wonder what God is doing” when you have a flat tire, lose your job, have marriage problems or contract a disease. That’s still self-righteousness.

Jesus used nature to teach us how his realm of sovereignty works. He taught us that God’s Kingdom is within and it works like a seed or yeast. God’s Kingdom is within us because His spirit is within us, God’s essence of life within us, and the presence holds within it everything that God is in seed form.
God is sovereign, he is all powerful but he’s currently exercising that authority in the earth in collaboration with you. In His eternal dimension he fully rules and reigns but he gave mankind authority over the earth for a period of time. One day he’ll fully express his sovereignty in the earth but until then, he’s working with us, through us. This is important to understand when seeking to live from His inner kingdom.

Do you know how to enjoy being one flesh with your spouse? No, not that, although that's fun too. I’m talking about knowing each other's dreams and passions. Not as interesting? You may change your mind.
The Apostle Paul refers to our union with our spouse a mystery. While there are plenty of jokes that could follow, what he’s talking about is the nature of the spiritual union in marriage. He describes it as a husband and wife being glued together. He gives the example that we are one with our spouse as Christ is one with his church. He even goes so far as to say if a husband loves himself he’s loving himself. He doesn’t say it’s “like” loving yourself, he said it “IS” loving yourself.
https://www.clintbyars.com/blog/2019/2/18/dream-together-with-your-spouse
Marriage is a reflection of Christ’s relationship with his body. The husband is to love his wife as she responds with respect. This is the recipe for a thriving and fruitful marriage.
We really could just stop there but those of us who are married know it’s not that easy. When we look at the lengths to which Jesus went to make his bride his cherished eternal partner, we don’t see him demanding a response. We see Jesus dying for mankind and extending his love for us before we ever loved him back. So should a husband love his wife.
A marriage in proper order is not when the man has authority over his wife but when the husband is bringing unconditional love into the relationship that produces the fruit of respect from his wife.

The pain and suffering we see in this world. Jesus says this, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
This is right after talking to his disciples about his departure. He says they'll weep, mourn and grieve, but in just a little while their grief will turn to joy.

Your PURPOSE, the reason God gave you life is to be His child. God didn't create you to do a job for Him, He created you to lavish His love on you as a cherished child. As a child of God, your CALLING is to respond to God's love for you by loving others.

When the Apostle Paul asked God to take away his “thorn in the flesh,” God answered by saying, “my grace is what you need.” Was that a “no?” No! That was a solution. God’s grace is an inner power that causes us to overcome any and every situation we may face. God didn’t tell Paul, no, not right now, I need you to suffer a little while, he said Paul, if you’ll access my power within you you’ll have victory in this area. This is true for us as well!

Have you ever wondered about this passage? If salvation is by grace through faith alone, how should we interpret it? Hebrews 10:26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries.

God himself, through Jesus Christ, promised, initiated, enacted and upholds the better, eternal covenant of peace that offers the promise of eternal life for all who believe. Your salvation is secure in Jesus. You are an heir of a promise from God that is received one way and one way only, through faith. Rest in this powerful, life giving truth and never again question your salvation, for it is a promise to be freely received, not a reward to be earned.

God makes covenants. They’re important to him. You probably knew that. But did you know there are different kinds of covenants? Understanding the different kinds and knowing which kind of covenant we’re now in is liberating and possibly life-changing for you.

God, who lives in you and is helping you remember what he’s taught you, will show you how to apply those teachings. The word GUIDE means SHOW YOU THE WAY. God is a way maker!! We typically ask God to bring things to us but he’s trying to show you how to get to those things. Things like blessings, new jobs, ministry opportunities, the right spouse, a new church, the perfect pair of shoes, etc...

God’s spirit in you will glorify Jesus. The Holy Spirit will show you a way to live out the teachings of Jesus in a way that brings fulfillment for you and makes him look good through you.
It only takes 2 minutes to shift your focus and change the chemistry in your body. If you can change the way you're feeling you will tend to make better choices. Fear is not from God! You are powerful in God's love and you can make good, daily choices!

If you’re like me, the importance of prayer in your life comes and goes. That may be surprising coming from a pastor, but I’d rather be honest with you than act like Super-Christian. Don’t get me wrong, I’m always communing with God in my heart but specific, directed prayer comes and goes. I’d like to give you some profound, mystical reason why I flow in and out of directed prayer but I think I just get busy and don’t take the time to pray in detail. However, there are times where I do feel the leading of the Lord to pray in the spirit, or with specific words, over a specific matter.

Are you hard on yourself? That may be a good thing but it may be a bad thing. If you push yourself to be better in healthy ways, keep it up! But if you tend to compare yourself to others, or you feel like you’re not as far along in life as you’d like and you condemn yourself, stop it! I have good news for you! You can love you because God loves you! In the deepest places of your heart, in the areas you keep hidden away from everyone, in the hidden man of the heart, you are precious in God’s sight. It’s time to stop judging yourself, it’s time to stop punishing yourself, and allow the hidden man of your heart to be free!!! Deal with judgement and start loving one another.

When we start to evaluate the character of God by the circumstances of our lives we enter into dangerous territory. We put off hope and we begin to harden our hearts in subtle ways. Deal with judgement and start loving one another.

In Matthew 6, Jesus gives us several lessons about prayer. What to do, what not to do, the attitude we should have and how to prioritize. He also says prayer personal by describing God as our Father, that he values us and that he’ll provide for us because we’re valuable. After Jesus’ discourse on prayer, he concludes with a simple yet profound statement… “so don’t worry.” So don’t worry! Because God is your Father, and because he values you, and because he has good plans for you, you don’t have to worry. because God will provide for you. So here’s the question, did God really say that? Did he mean it? Will he really meet all your needs according to his riches in glory? That, I’ll leave for you to decide.

Jesus honored the standard of the Law yet treated people in the context of love and grace. Jesus is the Word of God in action. He is God in the flesh. He is the embodiment of the righteous standard of God. Yet when he encountered a sin that required death, he lifted off every ounce of guilt, removed condemnation, forgave the person and gave them another chance. I want you to be so confident of your acceptance with God that you never again question if God will reject you for your failures. I want you to be so appreciative of what Christ did that you tell others about what he did, and how he can help them shed the guilt and shame.

When we read the Bible, we have to keep in mind that we’re on this side of the cross, under a new and better covenant, one based on faith rather than obedience. One that’s upheld by the faithfulness of Jesus rather than our own faithfulness. So when we read books in the Bible, like James, we have to put on our New Covenant filter.

A shepherd walks among his sheep; sometimes he walks behind them, sometimes in front of them and sometimes in the middle of them. The shepherd makes sure the sheep have all that they need. He is the shepherd, you are his sheep. God lets you rest in him while he meets your needs. He leads you down healthy, productive paths in life and is glorified as you experience his promises in your life. His promises are an invitation into his divine nature. His divine nature in you is a source of life that strengthens and restores you.

Spiritual thinking is a lot less complicated and weird than we have made it in the body of Christ. Spiritual thinking is simply just the ability to put your hope and confidence in God in any situation. Grace is alive in every moment to empower us to make choices that tend toward life.

When you start thinking about the past, distant or recent, be careful because you may be reinforcing the negative patterns and end up repeating the cycle. Mix in some spiritual thinking. Mix in some life thinking. Mix in some "in Christ" thinking. Put on the new man, don't just beat yourself up for the past, decide that you'll override the destructive programming and disciple yourself into victory.

We place our faith in God but our hope in what God has promised. He promises eternal life which includes salvation from sin and death. Why can you have hope in God’s promise of salvation? Because the one who made the promise is faithful. Ultimately, the hope of the Gospel is eternal life. Let me ask you “when do the benefits of eternal life begin?” Check out this message as I look a little deeper into faith, the hope of eternal life and what we have the right to expect now in this life.

Have you ever tried to pray in tongues but it didn't feel real? Or it felt like nothing happened? Or you felt silly? Join the club, everyone feels that way the first few times. Remember your spirit is praying and your mind won't get it (1 Corinthians 14:14). The key is to mix faith in your heart with the sounds in your mouth. Jesus addressed this concept in Matthew 15:8 "These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me." While this passage is not about tongues, the principle applies. When you pray in tongues, make sure you start with gratitude and an awareness of God's spirit within. Remember that it's an act of faith, you're doing something that doesn't make sense to your mind but you can be confident, knowing that God is praying for you, through you.

Stop waiting on God, you already have within you everything he will ever give you in this life, his Spirit. Cultivate his Spirit so that your heart can allow fruit and gifts to grow and flow.

Most of us think of power when we think about the baptism of/in the spirit. We immediately think of praying in tongues and power to do miracles. While this is a byproduct of being baptized in the spirit there is another reason for the baptism. The main reason God immerses you in his spirit is to purify, cleanse and sanctify you so he can live in you and make you his eternal child. The baptism of the spirit is the adoption process we go through to be changed into righteous and eternal children of God. Being baptized in the spirit is not a separate event, experiencing the gifts, fruits and power may manifest through you at a later time than when you actually received the spirit but it is not a separate event.

What is Spirit and what is our connection with it? When we think of the Holy Spirit we usually think supernatural or other than natural but Spirit is not unnatural, it’s not detached from this world, it holds this world together. Living under the influence of the Spirit is like a branch living under the influence of the trunk of the tree.

We go through our days relating to people through our biases and filters without taking the time to get to know people. Often times it's because there is not enough time to get to know everyone but that doesn't absolve us from general compassion toward all of mankind. We are to be clothed with compassion. When someone looks at you do they see compassion just a clearly as they see the shirt you're wearing? It's time for the body of Christ to lead with love and not be so easily offended.

Jesus prayed "your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven." In a recent article, I revealed the tense of the word "come" in this prayer. Jesus was not asking God to send anything, he was telling the kingdom to grow...specifically grow to the point that earth looks like Heaven.

Be of this mindset when you pray I no longer call you servants, because a master doesn't confide in his servants. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me. John 15:15

Do you only believe what you can observe? What if you don't observe the effects of God in your life, do you still believe? There is as much "faith" in science as there is in religion, more really if you think about it. For believers, faith is not choosing to believe in something even though you lack evidence, faith is actually an internal confident persuasion that God is who he says he is.
The religion of science says, we don't know why things work they way they do but we know it's not because of God. A statement like that takes great faith.

They call Jimmie Bratcher “The Electric Rev.”
Not only because his lightning-strike performances crackle with high-voltage guitar playing and emotionally charged vocals. Or because Bratcher makes the hairs rise on the arms of the crowds he entertains in the map of clubs, festivals, bike rallies, churches and prisons that he calls “the road.”
But because the ascending blues star is literally a preacher, as comfortable testifying in the pulpit about the power of Jesus as he is in smoky bars celebrating the vigor of the blues.

There's only one thing left for the believer and that is for Christ to be fully revealed within us. When we are born of the spirit/born again we become inhabited by the spirit of God and we're made one with him. We receive the righteousness of Jesus and we are presented holy to our Father. Then...from a place of acceptance, we simply renew our minds to experience transformation into the image of God's son. In other words, we become fully yielded to the influence of God within us. Rest in him and allow his indwelling presence to consume you.

God's desire for humanity is redemption. Since God gave dominion over this planet to man, a man had to fix the problem. The problem is all men were now inherently sinful after the fall. SO God decided to limit an aspect of himself, manifest into this world as Jesus and face every struggle, trial and temptation of humanity and bring not only deliverance from sin but eternal redemption. This message will help you think through what Jesus accomplished on your behalf.
A deeper look at one of the greatest Psalms written. We can do more than just read Psalm 91, we can live it daily.

Ren-o-vate: verb rearrange, revive, make new, refresh No amount of physical effort can produce a spiritual result. The changes we want in our lives only come through renewing our minds, not works of the flesh. The flesh is a mindset that trusts seeks to establish a spiritual truth rather than allowing the spirit of God to form us by grace through faith. In this series you’ll learn to be transformed by the spirit of God from within rather than change through striving and self-effort.

Jesus entered into that Heavenly Most Holy Place and presented his blood as the redemption of those who would receive his offer by faith. His eternal and righteous attributes were imparted into us when we were sealed and anointed by the Holy Spirit.

From the series Grace Works from the Heart: Essential Grace Volume 3 http://forwardministries.org/gracefromtheheart
Unthankfulness or not remembering what God has done comes from focusing on what you don't have. Unthankfulness is fuel for complaining and worry. Lack of gratitude ultimately gets you to a place where you limit God and wander around life for years
Gratitude, thankfulness and remembering what God has done builds confidence and inspires faith to walk in grace, which is his power. What will you put in place in your life the ensure you don't forget what God has done and you remain thankful? When you find yourself asking "Can God prepare a table for you in the midst of your trouble?", wondering if your needs will be met, or having these kinds of doubts, it's an indicator that unthankfulness may have crept in.
When we hear these kinds of things coming from our hearts, put your mind on this truth...
Psalm 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
God's willingness to provide for you is based on his value for you rather than your service to him.

How can you say that? I believe it's part of the promise of the New Covenant, here's some scripture to support that belief.
Jeremiah 31:31-34 “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord : I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”
Isaiah 54:5-10 For your Maker is your husband, The Lord of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth. For the Lord has called you Like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, Like a youthful wife when you were refused,” Says your God. “For a mere moment I have forsaken you, But with great mercies I will gather you. With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you,” Says the Lord, your Redeemer. “For this is like the waters of Noah to Me; For as I have sworn That the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, So have I sworn That I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you. For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.
2 Corinthians 5:17-21 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
1 Corinthians 4:20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
Romans 1:16, 17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Trapped for months in a living hell on earth Mental torment day and night And finally...Rescued by the power of infinite love
This is the kind of story that Hollywood dreams of: an encounter with the demonic world in the best tradition of Lovecraft, Craven, and King-yet it is absolutely true.
Come along for the ride as Clint Byars bares his heart and tells of the dark night when he descended into the demonic realm-and encountered Satan face-to-face.
Experience with him the months of unremitting mental torment when he simply went through the motions of daily life even as he believed he was actually dead and in hell. Discover with him the true nature of Satan and his realm: a realm built on lies and elaborate deceptions and where Satan himself is a liar and the author of lies.
Rejoice with Clint as he discovers a power greater than the lies of the devil: the power of truth; the power of the infinite love of Jesus Christ that shatters the shackles of his deception, frees him from his hell on earth and brings him for the first time into the world of those who are truly alive You've never read a personal testimony like Devil Walk.
Once you read Clint Byars incredible true story you will never look at Satan the same way again. You will understand that because of Christ there is no longer any reason to fear Satan. He is a "paper lion" and an already defeated enemy.
Discover the condition of your heart and cultivate the capacity to connect with God by looking at your relationships with people. To love people is to love God.

Do you desire to see the power of God work in your life? Would you like to walk in the Gifts of the Spirit? Do you want to hear God clearly?
God has revealed the mysteries of his kingdom to us by his spirit. He doesn’t want you in confusion.
John 15:15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father, I have made known to you.
It is the very “job description” of God’s Holy Spirit to speak to you. Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would bring all things to remembrance, show us things to come and tell us what the Father is saying. His explanation of the purpose of sending the Holy Spirit is a description of a personal relationship that would reveal what God is saying.
Have you ever wondered what God is doing or what he is saying? It’s his will that you know exactly what he is saying and he communicates those very things by his spirit that dwells within every believer. It’s through this relationship that we connect to God’s power and see his gifts work in our lives.
We can see miracles, experience provision and minister to others because God now calls us friends and has placed his spirit within us. God literally expects us to hear form Him, not only for ourselves but also for others. He is NEVER silent, God has elevated us to a level of relationship that qualifies us to hear directly from Him.
After his resurrection, Jesus said the most important thing he could do was leave this planet so the Comforter could come. If the presence of God’s Holy spirit is currently more important than the physical presence of Jesus, we would do well to learn how to relate to him and walk in his ability to hear from God and love others.

God is in us as light. He's given us a new heart which contains His Kingdom. Mark 4 tells us that our heart is like a garden that yields Kingdom fruit. If we keep our heart soft to Jesus then God's pure light will shine from within us causing light to shine on the garden of our heart and cause life to thrive.
