Our Congregation participated in The Joseph Project, which involved the filling of a 40' Container, bound for Israel, containing thousands of pounds of aid from multiple congregations and ministries. Co-hosted by Fairhaven Ministries in Covington, Louisiana and Harvest of Israel in Morristown, Tennessee, this endeavor is a blessing to many Arabs and Jews in Israel.
From the depths of despair over his losing battle with dementia, William Breedlove cried out to God with all his heart. From that day on, the Lord began to reveal Himself in miraculous ways to Bill that led to a vibrant genuine relationship and eventually his being totally healed and restored.
To Almighty God be all the glory! May you discover Him too.

On August 30th, we sent a Ministry Team to Romania for The Testimony Tour; ministering out of City On A Hill Church in Apata, Transylvania. While there, they ministered to the Lord and His people through praising, preaching and proclaiming their testimonies, as well as communicating - in various ways - the Love and Hope that comes from knowing Jesus Christ. This important effort was attempted with everyone they met; including Gypsies, Romanians and Hungarians.
On the third Saturday of every month, the Food Pantries of Granbury, along with the Tarrant County Food Bank, conduct a Grocery Giveaway like no other - called the Mobile Food Pantry - which takes place in the amazing bus barn at Granbury First United Methodist Church, on Highway 51.
Wonderful Volunteers from Hood County Churches, Ministries and Non-profit Agencies, serve hundreds of people each month; so come and receive if you need groceries, or join in the fun of serving if you don't.
