Born into a lineage of healers and light workers, whose recent generations abandoned the healing practices, Kaleinohea always felt a call to the cultural and spiritual lineages of her blood. She studied hula for 27 years, Olelo Hawai’i for 10, and sprang into activism for the health of MAUNAKEA at the first public hearing for the proposed development of TMT back in 2010. She became a mother under the guidance of Mauna Kea in 2015, and her awakenings have since compounded. Kaleinohea was initiated into the Hale O Papa by her late mentor, Aunty Iliana Kala, and carries on her legacy of women’s work, of waking work, of healing, of heart. Rather than teaching and preaching, Kaleinohea’s practice is embodiment, of living and being a pillar in the reclamation of ea through her work with EALAEA, essential oils as tools for spiritual initiations, in the form of consensual relations & guided offerings.
