This week, on The Friends of Folklore, Abbie teaches us all about gnomes, both garden and regular. Also known as "Grace the Bald," Grace pillaged, plundered, and became an infamous thorn in the side of the English Crown. Sydney tells the tales of a feminist icon for the ages and a rivalry so legendary that it changed the course of Irish history forever.

This month, Sydney tells the tale of The Flying Dutchman, a phantom ship that sails the seven seas, boding ill for all who witness her! This week, the sisters study the case of Bridget Cleary, a young Irish woman who disappeared in March of 1895. It was said that the independent Bridget was replaced by a Changeling, and the imposter was dealt with by her family and friends, including her own husband and father. Was this a case of fairy interference or a murder most foul?
The Loch Ness Monster: The Legend of the Sea Brontosaurus.
This week, the sisters dive into Loch Ness, a 24 mile stretch of water that is home to the majestic European Eel, playful Otters, and quite possibly, a 25-foot sea monster.
