In this episode, Dan talks about co-parenting. Here is the challenge with co-parenting. The divorce, breakup, separation, fling, or whatever you want to call it is over. Instead of being one single unit or entity, you and your ex-partner are now two separate and distinct individuals that do not have to agree with one another’s ways of parenting. Now with a few exceptions. Drugs, alcohol, and abuse is a different story. Barring those kinds of things, we do not have to agree with our ex-partner’s way of parenting. However, we do have to respect our co-parent's way of parenting. So if you are going through a family law situation, child custody matter, or you are searching for ways to improve your co-parenting, be sure listen.
