In cases of separation, custody and divorce; people often say: "There’s his side of the story, her side, and then the truth is somewhere in the middle." We're going to challenge that notion and say that no, it is not the case at all. There’s the truth, and then there is the degree to which a pathological individual will go to in order to destroy someone for the sake of financial gain. The truth still lies exactly where it was. This is a podcast about today's indentured servants - divorced non-custodial and alienated parents, and the children away from whom they are torn. Follow the story as we navigate divorce, custody, and the legal ramifications surrounding it. Parts 1-3 set the background, 4-7 cover the issues, and the final four episodes of season one conclude with the trial itself. Season two takes a different approach as we bring on some guests to discuss the family court arena and the legal and personal ramifications of marriage, divorce, and society in general.
After being alienated for years and subjected to abuses too cruel to recount fully, Adora (alias) finds Johnny (alias) and they are reunited. While she uses an endearing term for her mother that starts with thunder and ends with something that rhymes with "bunt", we did edit it out so that you can listen safely at work. Adora and Johnny share a connection that despite her mother's attempts, cannot be broken. Overcoming years of legal abuse through family law and child support penalties, Johnny has rebuilt his life and went on to build another family. In addition, we add a little commentary on today's social and political climate and how it relates to those victimized by family law.

We take a deep look into his marriage and divorce, and how the mechanics of family court served to disrupt the children's lives far more than the divorce itself.
