Welcome to the Anyehilate It! Podcast, a nutrition, fitness, lifestyle, and mindset podcast created to inspire, motivate, and elevate listeners to be the best version of themselves. This podcast is for anyone looking to improve their health, expand their mind, and live life to its absolute fullest.
In this episode of The Alex Nye Show, I talk about how morality shows up in the personal development/health and wellness industries. Although this is something I'm still trying to understand for myself, it's been in my heart lately. I've found myself so upset at how self-betterment turns into a judgment of morality or a contest of virtue.
Some ideas I explore include:
-when the ego drives personal development
-how we can choose transformation and evolution without judging or shaming others
-letting go of things that aren't for us and not getting caught up on if those things ARE right for someone else

In this episode of The Alex Nye Show, I muse over the philosophical & psychological concept of being in 'the void,' where 'the void' is defined as "the presence of absence" and might feel like vast emptiness or nothingness.
In other words, you've experienced a big change, and now you're feeling lost, confused, or on shaky grounds (because change is hard), and it's terrifying!
Even though it sounds super serious (because when you're experiencing it, it is), I don't take myself very seriously and included lots of silly voices and references to nerdy, outdated things like Harry Potter and Captain Marvel. Wait, maybe she's still relevant? I actually have no idea what's happening in the MCU...
Anyway. That's what this episode is about.

Limiting beliefs are quite literally the stories we tell ourselves that hold us back and stop us from becoming who we are meant to be. These beliefs are typically quite strong and they’re often subconscious beliefs. We might not even know they’re there until someone points them out to us. These limiting beliefs stop us from reaching our full potential.
In this episode, I talk about what a limiting belief is, when and where they might pop up, and 5 steps you can take to overcome limiting beliefs and step towards your full potential.

Core values are the filter through which you analyze behavior and decision-making. They’re how you clearly identify whether you're in alignment or not. They are your operating principles. They make life better because when you have core values, it becomes easier to make decisions out of regulation and alignment.

Alright, I'm feeling very nervous to hit publish on this one. I could not bring myself to script it, but obviously, in just chatting, it's a bit longer with some tangents, and I didn't necessarily make every point I wanted to lol.
This is my story. This is why I became a coach. I believe in educating people about their health because once you know better, you can do better. Ultimately, your actions are your responsibility. Applied knowledge is power, and I believe in empowering people with the knowledge they need to live their healthiest, longest life.
Here's my story and how I went from a Hollywood assistant to an online health coach. I am quite proud of how I have brought together my love of acting, psychology, education, and storytelling.
I can't wait to see what the future holds!

Radical responsibility means taking ownership. It's doing the hard work and confronting your thought patterns and feelings. Radical responsibility requires you to ask yourself, "how can I own this situation I’m in? How could I have done better? What is my responsibility?"
I recently released a new line of gratitude journals that you can use to work through your thoughts as you take radical responsibility. I also like to use my journal to express gratitude. You can find my journals here on Amazon.
