Hello and Welcome back to the Good Old Days! This is the last episode of our Branson, MO season. For this final episode, we will be discussing the documentary We Always Lie to Strangers: The Incredible True Story of Branson, Missouri. I will be offering some summary of the film so spoiler alert! I would strongly suggest watching this film yourself, it is a tricky film to find but I was able to order a copy off amazon.
We Always Lie to Strangers was released in 2014 and created by Virgil Films. The film centers around four Branson families and their struggle to survive in the conservative tourist town. At the time, Branson had over 100 shows and attracted more than 7.5 million tourists each year.
