Welcome to Mindset Managed with me, author S. R. Crawford. Here on my podcast, we will be bringing you weekly inspiration every Monday to nurture your mind and conquer your world! We’re talking holistic health, mindsets, and personal growth. We believe that if you are aware of your inner world, you can understand it; and if you understand it, you can conquer it! So, let’s grow together…
The Mindset Managed podcast is coming to an end so I'm discussing success, growth, change, and writing in today's episode. Join me one last time!
Today I am talking about where you draw the line in the sand (aka what you stand for and where your boundaries are). Why? Because it's an important part of being a confident person who knows who you are!
Throughout my time sharing online, I have noticed that certain pieces of advice keep coming up. Here, I am starting the year off by sharing with you general advice that will always be important to me, no matter the situation or year.
Another year has come and gone. This year I wanted to root down and settle into my life. I feel like I didn’t quite achieve this vibe, and that’s okay. There were a lot of external factors influencing this feeling, but I’ve worked on those things and I think settling in will happen more naturally next year anyway.
Therefore, with 2022 upon us, I have new intentions and focuses for the New Year. Here is the vibe I’m going for in 2022…
What’s your focus for the new year?
I'm sorry that I've been absent so much lately. I did anticipate this, but with work, university, writing projects, and moving house recently, I've been a busy bee. Here is my penultimate podcast episode of the year, rambling about the little things and how we can make life a little more enjoyable and thus better in the long run.
Today’s episode is a pep talk for when you are feeling unsure about what to do or who you are. Keep this for when you need a pick me up.
Our society is completely manmade. It’s all a social construct, built and then upheld by everyday people. There are a lot of people in groups that are suffering in our world, and speaking up can be important. But also toxic.
That begs the question, then, when should we speak and when should we stay silent?

Who are you? That’s a loaded question, isn’t it?! But it’s an important one. A question that has been rattling me a little lately, so I wanted to explore the importance of knowing who we are, what can happen if you don’t, and soon I will have a questionnaire coming about what to do to get to know yourself more.
Hey guys, today I'm updating you on:

Today I am talking about what it means to be brave and why we admire it in others, alongside the importance of beauty and the role it plays in our everyday lives.
Being an adult is stressful sometimes, so maybe being a kid again (briefly) can help us when we are in a bad mood. Today I discovered that things that we did or loved as a child can really shift our mood.
BONUS TIP: How can you carry out your day with a sense of childlike wonder and imagination?
Today's ramble is about what we are actually here to do and about the radical idea that maybe we're not here to produce and serve and compete...
This August I plan to write a story, which will be a significant amount of words and take a lot of focus! If you, too, are working on a project right now, here are 20 ways to help you consistently show up for this project and get it completed without feeling burnt out or overwhelmed!
Today I am discussing overwhelm, the fear of missing out and the plethora of options available to us in this modern world and how that all feels! Can we commit or are there just too many options out there?
Today I am discussing ways that we might be able to live a life of more peace, contentment and satisfaction without striving for perfection and lasting happiness which isn’t achievable.
Today I’m talking about how things can be true and untrue at the same time and that’s totally confusing and totally normal! So we should embrace the grey areas, speak in fewer extremes and certainty, and free ourselves with questions that have no definite answers!
You’re ugly and pretty!
You’re dumb and smart!
You’re free and not free!
You’re right and you’re wrong!
It’s all ok…
I very much value simplicity and prioritisation. I like to know I have only a few things to focus on, rather than a scary, hefty list. This is some new advice on ways you might simplify your goals, habits, and to-dos while still getting things done each day.
This week I want you to consider ways in which you may be blocking the very things you have been asking for. How have you been self-sabotaging (knowingly or not) and causing things to be blocked from you in your life?
Are you feeling like you’re not good enough? Like who you are is being examined and questioned? Yeah, same…
I think part of the issue (which I didn’t talk about in the episode because I rushed it, to be honest, is this culture of perfectionism and performance.
Where we want to be, NEED to be, so great at everything we do because we are not worthy and how dare we exist in this modern world if we are not constantly switched on, doing, doing, doing, and proving ourselves to strangers who don’t care about us anyway because they’re all feeling anxiety about themselves and their own lives that don’t stack up!
Wow, yeah, not great.
And breathe!
That if you say you’re a writer, you better be a perfect writer.
If you say you’re a mother, you better be a perfect mother.
If you say you’re gay, you better be a perfect gay!
It’s madness! It’s imposter syndrome, really. And it has to stop. Let people (and yourselves) be who they are and do what they do without question…
I've been feeling this resistance lately when trying to create and it's been frustrating! So I sat with myself, got quiet, and this is what I realised...
Today I’m inspiring you with some advice on why you shouldn’t bother worrying too much about being an expert or the best at something.

I didn’t think about this while recording but here are some things to be instead of an expert:

Jealousy, like all emotions, serves a purpose. Today, I'm talking about what that purpose is and how we can use our jealousy instead of being consumed by it or letting it turn us ugly.
I am someone who looks for control in all situations and to be honest, it's exhausting. We can't control everything, so why bother? Today I'm doing a personal and honest conversation about our need for control, why it's no good for us, and what to do instead.
For a few weeks, I’ve felt a little off. Not bad, just off. An ickiness has settled into my body and I’ve needed a shift in energy to get rid of it. I’ve analysed myself, hated myself, beat myself up. I’ve been a perfectionist and berated myself for not stacking up.
Here are my confessions in an open and honest discussion about how I’ve felt lately.
My most sacred value is Peace and one of my lifelong goals is inner peace. If you, like me, want a gentle and peaceful life, then here are just a few of my ideas that will grant you more of a peaceful life.
Today I’m ranting about how overwhelm and exhaustion are a given in our society right now. How unhealthy and yet easy it is to feel stressed and tired from the amount of information we are exposed to and the number of things we’re expected to do in order to be worthy.
Nah thanks!
Tomorrow is my birthday! In true birthday fashion, I have been thinking about things I would like to work on and focus on improving in my life. However, there are many things I'm proud of in my life and what I do, and so I'm appreciating these things about myself and remembering to keep going!
Today I am talking about how we can use our imagination to help change our worlds. Imagining something that’s outside of what is our current reality inside ourselves and outside in the wider world.
Spring has sprung, as they say, and so I’m talking today about shedding skins, letting go, and moving on towards something new this Spring. Are you going to choose to rise and awaken, or shrink and remain in hibernation?
Today I'm questioning whether the Western world is making things too easy for us instead of better for us in the long-run. Is everything too convenient?
We all know these things, but we often forget them or don’t adopt them in our lives in order to make a difference. If you want to do better for and to yourself and others, here is some obvious advice and truths for you to remember and follow.
Today I'm dropping in with a quick one discussing two things: the origins of our fear and sadness, maybe there's a story you're telling yourself that links to it; and how our expectations of ourselves are causing us to be both the victim and the villain.
I provide a whistle-stop tour on our poor categorisation skills, how complicated the whole business can get, and share some ideas about perhaps scrapping it all together!
Your identity will never be something you could write out on a sheet of paper, listing with words and labels who you are, because you will always be so much more than that.
Today I would like to just invite you to tap into your creativity. To give yourself permission to create freely: create for the hell of it, others be damned!
Have you been feeling low and anxious lately? Perhaps what you're feeling is burnout. Here are some things that cause burnout and a few ways to avoid and combat it.
In this day and age, we are living in a world of choice, options and possibilities. Sounds good, right? Wrong... Here's why we are being made ill and driven mad by too much choice. And what we can do about it.
Today I'm discussing three things we're doing too much as a society that we could do with stopping, and three things we aren't doing enough and need to start doing in 2021.
Happy New Year and welcome 2021!
Today I want you to think about and decide what is actually worthy of your stress, worries, and focus this new year. To take the pressure off because nothing is perfect or predictable – 2020 taught us that, at least.
Click to play!
This festive season and end to the crazy 2020, I want you to anchor in hope, learn to trust, and bring a magical awareness to your life.
I'm saying goodbye for the rest of 2020. I'll be speaking to you all again soon in 2021, hopefully with a better year ahead of us as a world! I'm talking briefly about my own life, changes, and things I've learned and have yet to learn. Take care, all, end on a high and keep growing...
Speak soon!
Let me tell you, in case you didn't know, it's okay not to know everything! It's okay to say, "I don't know enough about this to have an opinion!" Wow, what a concept!
Today I'm talking about how we need to all take a step back and appreciate what we don't know as an opportunity to actually learn.
I've been angry and sad lately. Not in my personal life, because thankfully that's great, but with the state of the world and the negativity of the people in it. Today, I'm ranting about it all and seeing if we can be and see the light at all right now...
My partner of almost 6 years is 26 years old now! Happy birthday! I wanted to just discuss all the things I've learned from him during our relationship. This is just some of the amazing things that I've gained from him just being himself...
In today's podcast episode, I'm talking passionately about our self-worth and self-esteem and how these are affected by how much power we give to external things. We mindlessly give away energy, power, thoughts, feelings, and time to things that don't deserve it.
We rely too heavily on external things, when we need more self-trust above all else...
Who have you decided you are and what have you decided it means? What would happen if you un-decided it?
I feel like 2020 has been a Microcosm of life as a whole: uncontrollable, unpredictable, up and down, emotional, but a blessing if you look close enough...
What has your 2020 looked like? What have you learned? What does it all mean for you, your life, and your future? And what will you do to make the last 3 months count?
Today I'm reflecting on my own year and giving some insights into how we grow through adversity.
If you are an anxious overthinker, like me, then your mind is used to imagining the worst and thinking about every scenario. But what if I encouraged you to do this in a more focused and productive way?
You're already an intelligent, creative person, because overthinking and imagination go hand-in-hand. Why not use this skill in a healthier way to motivate you?
Memento Mori = "Remember you must die..."
This podcast episode was quickly recorded the day Chadwick Boseman passed away. May he rest in eternal peace.
Today we are reflecting on our mortality and the shortness and fragility of life; not so that we become depressed from that reality, but so that we can refocus on what truly matters.
Adulting is hard and nothing like we expected as kids. But we're here, we're adults, and it's something we have to try to succeed at! So what do we do? I have a number of key things that can help us to navigate adulthood a little better to ensure a healthy, happy experience.
Today's podcast is talking about focusing on who you are and what you choose to do today. Not big goals and to-dos, but who and what you choose in each moment.
I'm covering habits and consistency, while reflecting on the fact that who we become and what we do in life always comes back to choosing health and happiness first.
It's about cultivating a vision of who you want to be, then choosing a part of that to be and do right now and every day of your life.
At the end of the day, we are responsible for who we are, what we do, and how we feel. Others come along and affect us, but how much that affects us in the long-term is solely our responsibility…
Most of us who care about self-development or who are ambitious and have big goals will have an image of who we want to be. Of what we want to do and what our ideal future will look like.
But how do we get from here to there?
In today's podcast, I'm considering this idea and talking about how to get serious about your goals, while focusing in on your WHY.
Ask yourself: What energy am I bringing into this? Why am I really doing this?
A weak reason why makes for a fragile foundation for going after your goals in life.
Instead, we must find our resolve. Find our inner reason why which drives us forwards, keeps us going, and never lets us stop.
Do you know where you're at in life? Does it matter? Can you define the current stage you're in and what it demands of you?
What're your intentions right now? What's your purpose? What's the point of/ reason for this stage? What do you need to learn? What do you need to do? Who do you need to be? What's your focus in this stage of life?
Let's discuss...
"You can't be somewhere that you're not."
We all yearn for things in life. The longing is what drives us forwards. This fantasy, this idea, it steals our attention and motivates us...or consumes us. What happens when the yearning takes over? When we believe more in the fantasy than reality?
"Keep your feet on the ground as your daydream"
We all experience fluctuations in our moods and our motivations, where one minute we feel good and productive, and the next we can't bring ourselves to do anything. I've felt high highs and low lows lately, feeling like I'm on a rollercoaster that I can't get off.
Today, I'm discussing why our moods and motivation changes, and what to do with the highs and what to do with the lows.
So, I'm moving out of my family home for the first time and therefore this massive transition is forcing me to grow and evolve. There will be moments like this throughout all of our lives, where we're called to grow and learn.
We only have one choice to make: evolve or remain the same.
I'm talking about choosing to level up, gaining new experiences and lessons along the way; new obstacles and challenges for growth; and reflecting on how comfortable "comfort" is anyway?
What are your goals for the rest of 2020? What are your goals for next year? What are your life goals?
I don't know about you, but I have a tendency to freak myself out or get overwhelmed and disheartened by a long-term goal or big life choice. Why? Because focusing on that goal too much, only further outlines how far you have left to go.
What's the solution? I have an idea...
Today I’m doing a rambly philosophical chat inspired by the idea of balance, spectrums, and not being all this or all that. How we are all on a continuum, shifting up and down, never fixed…unless we decide to be.
Going ten levels deep on: * Awareness of our eternal subjectivity and our perception of life * Opening our minds and our hearts * Seeking balance and spectrums of truth and being * Empathy and understanding of ourselves and others * Constant lessons from the school of life * Finding hope through opening your mind * Adopting a Growth Mindset
Want to open your mind and heart to see, feel and experience more in life? Here’s how to open your mind and go further…
Today I just wanted to reflect on it being the end of June and therefore we have finished 6 months of the year! How did that happen? And we've had most of that time taken away from us, derailing our goals, our plans, and our lives.
So, what do we do now, with another uncertain 6 months left of 2020? Let's discuss...
Today's podcast episode is about why you might be unhappy in life and in general (current awful climate of the world notwithstanding!). I will walk you through 6 ways we make ourselves unhappy, alongside a recognition of the dystopian nightmare we're living in right now and how I am sending so much love your way.
Right now we are in hard times. 2020 feels like a dystopian novel that just won’t end. It is hitting all of us and I wanted to take a moment to push for self-compassion and to warn you of emotional exhaustion and the very real dangers that come with not looking after yourself right now.
We all have insecurities, that much has always been clear; but what if I said we all have the same ones in common, it's just they manifest in different ways?
Today I'm rambling and ranting about insecurities, emotional triggers, and our fear that we don't stake up. I'll be tackling the big three:
Have you ever been called selfish by someone you care about, and then questioned if it was true? I have. Or at least, I've been made to feel selfish for choosing myself. And this isn't uncommon, which is why I also did a post about guilt not long ago.
But I give you permission to shed that guilt and get clear on what selfishness really is, so that you can see the difference between self-care (choosing the self) and selfishness.
Today’s episode is a two-parter because I merged two shorter episodes that both explored the same concept: inner peace. More importantly, choosingpeace for yourself, your life, and in each moment.
We always have a choice. We get to choose reaction, hurt, hate, disconnection, or worthiness, clarity, beauty, love, and peace.
I choose peace.
This episode explores the following: * Power of the Pause * Seeking Peace over the life goal of Happiness * Unconditional love and belonging * Self-worth * Values * Clarity * Freedom * Contentment * Enoughness
Self-care has become super popular and perhaps that means the word has lost its effect now. But there are so many forms of self-care and what we need person to person, moment to moment will differ.
Self-care practices aside, here are some self-care mindsets to remember for a healthier life. For caring for and prioritising your own wellness.
We're not children anymore, we no longer have to look to our parents to give us permission to do or be what we want. Take your power back; stop seeking outside validation and permission. Give yourself permission...
Here are some "permission slip" ideas to undo negative beliefs and lack of self-worth or self-power...
Instead of having to have, do, and be MORE, what if I gave you permission to seek less? There’s no need to keep up with the Joneses or the Kardashians…
We can't turn back the clock, and we shouldn't aim to. Living in the past or regretting the past does us no favours whatsoever. However, at the ripe old age of 25, I have been thinking over my past and who I am now and who I am becoming. Doing so sparked some ideas of advice I would give to my younger self, and advice I should still follow now.
Plus, anyone out there who may benefit from these ideas, this is for you...
When we feel low or off, we often panic that something big is wrong with us. However, I think a lot of the time, it comes down to our basic needs not being met. Inspired by playing The Sims (lol), I am talking about our basic needs and how they can affect us in life when they're in the red rather than in the green.
It's my birthday and so I thought I'd do some thinking and share all the thoughts and feelings I'm having now that I'm a quarter of a century years old!
Topics covered in the ramble: * How things change so quickly * Intentions and taking steps * Seeking clarity * Spirituality * Self-awareness * Fears * Transformation and Evolving * Balance
The state of the world is uncertain right now. Our livelihoods have been completely changed. It's hard. It's sad. It's worrying. However, there are still some positives to see and seek right now in the world's current situation. Here are some of those that I've found for myself...
As of the time of recording this, I have just finished my first week at my new job! And so, I wanted to give you a life update and talk about how I have been getting on. All with the theme of doing things before you're ready (like a boss!)...
I've been thinking about how I see myself and the negative things that I have been identifying with. We all create our own reality with the narrative we tell ourselves. So, be careful with what you are identifying with (consciously or not)...
All things come to an end, but that ending also means a new beginning. We often focus on the negatives with endings and scary beginnings, but there is so much beauty in a fresh start and a prosperous new chapter.
With Spring on its way, new beginnings and rebirth are things we should embrace more than ever...
I am about to become a learner again (not a student, but a learner). I'm starting a new job, and so I will be in a stage of learning new things, new environments and from new people. And that's okay! Being a beginner can be scary, but the act of learning should be exciting and fun and never something that we stop doing.
Here's why you should always be a learner...
“Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”
In today's podcast, we're talking about how to gain the wisdom to know the difference between what you should and shouldn't do in life...
At some point in life, we will have to step into the unknown...which is a hellah scary thing to do! I'm doing just that right now, starting something completely new and terrifying. And so, here are 4 ways I've wrapped my head around the idea, to be able to cope and take that step with less fear...
At this juncture in my life, I'm in a questioning stage. Who am I? What am I meant to do? What's the right way? Many philosophers have agonised over these same concepts for their entire lives (I hope I don't!), but this period is usually down to an Existential Crisis of self.
Here in today's podcast, I'm talking about what we're meant to do and how to settle your mind in times of confusion.
Once again I'm talking about doing things your way! I think there's a pattern here...I have an unconventional spirit, what can I say?! But today is some quick rambly advice about dismissing the rules set by others and doing whatever you need to do for you.
These days we are breaking our necks by looking over all the fences around us. Looking at his garden and her garden; at what they're doing compared to us. But all it causes is pain, confusion, dizziness and paralysis.
Comparison and choice are sending us mad, but I have a simple tool for hopefully kicking it to the kerb...
In this ever-changing modern world that we live in, we feel pulled and pushed in many directions all at once. Our attention has become divided. We face comparisons and the Fear of Missing Out on a regular basis. And of course, with all this, we find ourselves sprinting to keep up or to make it to some imagined finished line.
But we must stop.
“There needs to be a space between the doing…”
We all want to take steps towards lasting change in the new year and the new decade, but we often fall short when we’re doing it for the wrong reasons. Today I’m talking about the important areas for changing your life, with a focus on doing it your way!
This year I'm realising that my journey, my focus, my mindset is all about self-exploration. My content, therefore, will also be around this idea. Not self-development or self-help, per se, but exploring the self, the world, and life as we know it from all angles...
It's January and now that it's the first Monday of the new year, it's time to get down to business! Here are 8 things that I think will set the right tone for the year if you get started on them straight away in January...
It's nearly the New Year, thus a new decade! Here are the lessons that I've learned over ten years (from 14 years old to 24 years old!) and what I'm bringing with me into 2020 and a new wonderful decade...
It’s Christmas week for those of us who celebrate and so I’m talking about what’s on my Christmas list: what I want and need to be a better version of myself in the new year. What’s on your Christmas list?
There's just over two weeks left of the year, which I believe is still plenty of time to do 5 more things to end the year in the right way. Here are 5 things to do before next year, as well as a sneak peek into my own personal intentions for 2020...
The New Year (and New Decade) is on its way, and so I’ve been thinking about what energy I want to bring into 2020. What to do I want to be the focus of my year? How will I do better than before? How will I be happy and healthy next year? I think I have my answer, my motto, my guiding idea for the new year…
“See things clearly…”
We're in the last month of 2019 and a new year (and a new decade!) is on its way. This means that we should begin to pay attention to ourselves and our lives. No, I'm not talking about the ever-popular "New Year, New Me" rhetoric, but instead about remembering who you are...
Sometimes in life, we can become used to fighting. Fighting against others, fighting against our circumstances, fighting against ourselves. But when we step back, put down our weapons, and take a deep breath, we might just realise there’s nothing for us to fight at all…
It's important not to bottle up your feelings or let your thoughts ruminate in your mind for too long. And so, there's only one thing to do: let it all out...
When faced with so many options, pressures, and societal rules, it can be hard to just be yourself. But when in doubt, you do you! Always, however possible, do life your way...
We need other people in order to do this life thing. Life can be hard at times, but if we let people, they can really help us to get through it. We need all kinds of people for all kinds of things in life. But there's one thing I know for sure, we can't do it alone.
"A stranger is just a friend we haven't yet met..."
It's Halloween this week so let's talk about fear! I wanted to be honest about my own fears, alongside talking about how fear shows up in our lives, the truth about fear, and how to feel the fear but do the thing anyway...
There's only thing thing that is certain in life: change is inevitable. Whatever your circumstances, whatever your mood, things will one day shift. They will shift many times, in fact...
I want to always be honest with you guys and so, to be honest, I've not been too great lately. With anxiety, regular low moods, and confusion about my circumstances, I haven't been myself. And so, I wanted to explain why and also share my thoughts about the decline in mental health, empathy, and honesty in general...
I've been thinking lately about life and how some people are living such cool ones. I think we can get caught up being too strict and serious about life and our decisions, but by stepping back we can take it less seriously and actually enjoy it.
Here are some ideas about how to make life interesting, treat it as an experiment, and have some fun damn it!
Learned behaviours, habits, defaults, emotional reactions, schemas, they are all patterns. A string of connected things that come together to form what you do and who you are. Day to day, we are choosing things for ourselves, consciously or subconsciously.
Today I've briefly covered the topic of the patterns in our lives and what we may be allowing to happen due to poor self-awareness and not taking action to break negative patterns.
There are so many times in life when we are given the same information over and over again. I believe this is life trying to teach us the same lessons so that we truly understand what they mean. As we go through these lessons, we are on our Hero's Journey and the lessons are helping us find and accept our personal NEED. Here are my thoughts on this...
The big philosophical question that has been asked by the masses for centuries is: what is the meaning of life?In today's podcast, I'd like to give you my answer and some thoughts on the subject...
There comes a time in all of our lives when we face a difficult situation or problem that feels too big to tackle. We obsess and worry and drive ourselves crazy, so much so, the problem grows bigger and feels worse.
Here are some ideas on how you can deal with these moments/times better and move forwards.
No matter where you are or who you are, things will change. It's the only guarantee in life. Having the right mindset around changes and transitions is the only way to find happiness in new beginnings...
Let's discuss the power of vulnerability and how discomfort is where we gain strength, trust and confidence in ourselves.
We all have insecurities that crop up to tell us that we're not good enough, we're broken, we're not worthy. Society comes along to make this worse by displaying an image of perfection that we just can't reach.
Today in the Confidence Challenge, we're talking about how to deal with insecurities and push society's view aside.
Are you someone who cares too much about what other people think of you? Do other people hold power over your emotions, your worth, and your confidence? Here’s how to stop caring what other people think and how to build your self-confidence.
This is the first podcast episode in the Confidence Challenge. Check out the previous challenges on my blog and my YouTube to not miss a day of the Confidence Building Challenge this August!
Today’s topic is how fear can cloud confidence and what to do about it…
The Confidence Building Challenge for August is here! For the whole of August, I will be posting something related to confidence everyday alongside a challenge for you all to complete to help boost your confidence levels! Are you in? Let's do it!
“Right now, you’re just planting seeds. It may not look like much, people might look and not understand what you’re doing, but one day you’ll look over that field and realise that a beautiful rose garden has bloomed. And it was all worth it in the end for that wonderful view.”
In life, we all go through periods where we are forced into a transition or when we feel ready for one. This time of reinvention can be hard to navigate when you’re uncomfortable and unsure. Here are some of my thoughts and tips about how to reinvent yourself in times of transition…
Who are you showing up as in this world? Are you wearing a mask? Well, it’s time you let yourself be seen, truly seen, once and for all…
We are a product of our environment. If you are suffering or something is wrong, look to your environment. In order for a flower to grow, it must be planted into the right environment and nurtured correctly - the same goes for us...
Your thoughts and feelings come from your deep-rooted beliefs. Knowing what these beliefs are can change your life, for you are what you believe. You see through the lens of your beliefs about yourself, your life, and your world. Get some perspective and widen your view through a change in your beliefs. Here's how...
Journaling can change your life! It is a brilliant life tool to have at the ready for introspection and awareness. Here at Mindset Managed, we believe that there is a three-step process to emotional freedom: self-awareness, self-knowledge, self-management.
Journaling helps us to accomplish this.
I think that we all have a bad habit of making our lives harder than they need to be. With perspective, present-ness, and awareness, we can see things as they really are, though. We can begin to see what really matters...
Why do our emotions matter? Are they something to be controlled and suppressed, or used and understood? Are you emotionally intelligent? Emotionally resilient? Emotionally aware? Do you even know what these terms mean? If not, give this podcast episode a listen…
Do you know who you are? Do you take the time to get to know yourself? Here are some ideas about what it means to know who you are and how it can be empowering...
