A defector from the Democratic Party, a defector to where, is another story.

As I wrote before, I did not vote for a Neo-Conservative, warmongering President. I did, however, vote for a President that would put America first, put an end to the DEI crap, put a stop to the transgender crap, put a stop to the racial quota crap, bring America back to place of dominance on the World’s stage and hold all accountable, Countries that were royally screwing America on trade.

President Trump did all of that and now, he has put America into a full scale War with Iran. (military operation my hairy white butt.😡)

Now, President Trump is saying that boots on the ground, might be necessary.

Oh, and we have lost six American troops, so far.

Wait….. What!?!? 😵‍💫

This puts me in a unique place. I voted for the President, I love it that he was a 360 degree turn from the Presidency and policies of Joe Biden. I also understand that a nuke in the hands of the radical leadership in Iran is crazier than an outhouse rat.

However, attempting to set up American style Democracy in the Middle East is also crazier than an outhouse rat too! We have tried that before and it just does not work.

Ideally, I would like to see a secular Country there, where Islam of all stripes, Christianity, and other religions can co-exist. It worked, somewhat in Iraq. Now in Iran, that is going to be a tall order, and huge mountain to climb.

The problem is that Shia Islam of the radical stripe is so entrenched in that Country, that undoing that is going to be very difficult and bombs and guns are not going to get that done. You have to understand, many of the people in that Country have been indoctrinated in that belief system, since childhood. Untangling that, is on par with untangling wire coat hangers! (Which are tools of Satan himself…. The coat hangers that is. 😂)

I will end with this: I voted for the for the President. I just hope like hell, that he knows what he is doing and I hope he is listening to reason within his cabinet. Because if he pulls a George W. Bush and screws this up; is going to hurt the United States for a very long time.

I guess it is because I am old. I am now 53 years old, and see a Republican President about to make the same mistake that George W. Bush made with Iraq.

Trump is now threatening war with Iran, while promoting peace in the Middle East. This via New York Post:

WASHINGTON — A defiant Iran has teamed up with fellow anti-West rogue nation Russia for a series of naval drills in the critical oil chokepoint of the Strait of Hormuz and the Gulf of Oman — despite the Trump administration warning Tehran it’d be “very wise” to cut a deal now.

Russia and Iran have held joint naval exercises annually since 2019, but this time they come amid a growing American military buildup in the region and possible strikes.

The drills are intended to “prevent any unilateral action in the region,” Iranian navy Rear Adm. Hassan Maqsudlu told reporters, RadioFreeEurope reported.

The show of military might comes as the White House warned that “there are many reasons one could make for a strike against Iran.”

“The president has been very clear with respect to Iran or any country around the world, diplomacy is always his first option,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters Wednesday.

“Iran would be very wise to make a deal with President Trump and with this administration.”

The Trump administration is about to learn a very important lesson, that you cannot use mob-type tactics with hostile nations. Now, with Iraq, they had old Soviet era airplanes, tanks and weapons. Iran is another story, they have modern airplanes, sold to them by Russia and there are Russians there as well, working with the Iran, doing these military exercises.

If you do not think that Russia would jump at the chance to join into a war with Iran, against the United States, you are very highly mistaken. Another thing to consider is; what about China? If you think that Iran and Russia would not put a call into China for help, if the USA started getting the upper hand, you are very highly mistaken. China’s military is three times the size of the United States Military.

I voted for America first policies, I voted for a President who would put America first. I did not vote for a President who would pursue Neoconservative style foreign policy. I did not vote for a Bush type President.

I just hope and pray that the Trump Administration does not overplay their hand.

Never thought I’d live to see 2026. But, here we are.

I hope that everyone, who actually still reads here, had a very Merry Christmas. I wish you all the best for the new year.

One of these days, I hope to get back to writing on here more. I need to get a new laptop. Mine is quite old. I am writing this on my iPad, that my Mom bought for me for my birthday, a few years ago.

That’s all for now.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

15 Jews killed on Bondi Beach for celebrating Hanukkah via BBC

There really is nothing to quote at that link, because it is a constantly changing story. Basically, two Arab terrorists killed 15 and injured 40 Jews. They were celebrating Hanukkah and were killed for it.

Put simply, Islam is a religion of death, hatred and violence.

2 dead, many injured in providence, RI shooting at Brown University via AP:

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — A person of interest was in custody Sunday after a shooting during final exams at Brown University that killed two students and wounded nine others, though key questions remained unanswered more than 24 hours after the attack.

The attack Saturday afternoon set off hours of chaos across the Ivy League campus and surrounding Providence neighborhoods as hundreds of officers searched for the shooter and urged students and staff to shelter in place. The lockdown, which stretched into the night, was lifted early Sunday, but authorities had not yet released information about a potential motive.

The person of interest is a 24-year-old man from Wisconsin, according to two people familiar with the matter. The people were not authorized to publicly discuss details of the investigation and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.

This one here, the information is pretty scarce. The suspect screamed something, we do not know what yet. It smells like terrorism, but, unlike the media; I will not speculate.

Prayers for the families of the dead and for the injured.

Well, it seems that the President has been able to force a peace plan on Israel and Hamas. It also seems like the Hamas Hostages have been released. Which I am happy to see. However, something else is about to happen, that I and other believe is going to be a tragic mistake. The bad thing is, it has happened before.

Daniel Greenfield at Frontpage Magazine writes and boy is he ever right:

On Oct 7, 2001, the United States began an ill-fated campaign to ‘nation build’ Afghanistan.

Now 24 years after that anniversary and 2 years after the Oct 7 attacks by Hamas, we may be on the cusp of an even worse nation-building program in Gaza that seems to have learned absolutely nothing from the disastrous nation-building operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Right down to resurrecting former UK PM Tony Blair to head ‘nation building’ in Gaza.

Sounds familiar, does it not? We tried this before and it failed badly. Mr. Greenfield lists the reasons why:

  1. The Bush administration believed that the problem in Afghanistan, Iraq and other Muslim countries wasn’t the people, their culture or Islamic religion, but their governments.
  2. Bringing ‘democracy’ and ‘free enterprise’ into murderous tribal societies was supposed to marginalize Islamic terrorists by giving the locals something better to do than kill infidels.
  3. Foreign aid experts and world government types would build a ‘technocratic’ government propped up by international investments to turn Afghanistan and Iraq into Switzerland.

That turned out to be the biggest abortion job of a mistake ever and we’re still sporting the scars from it too.

I very highly suggest that you go read the rest of that article.

You know you are living in strange times, when you find yourself reading and agreeing with something written in Frontpage Magazine! 😮

Like I have written before, I am truly glad Donald Trump won the election.

However, it appears that The President and the Republicans are reverting back to his antics that happened during his first term.

First there is this, which comes via Molly Ball at the Wall Street Journal:

AUSTIN, Texas—Standing at the wooden lectern at the front of the state House chamber, Republican state Rep. Todd Hunter put the purpose of his legislation to redraw Texas’ congressional map in forthright terms. “The underlying goal of this plan is straightforward,” he said: “Improve Republican political performance.”

What might once have been considered a damning admission was embraced as an explicit rationale as the state House proceeded to pass the map on a party-line vote late Wednesday. Democrats charged that Republicans were shamelessly redrawing the lines ahead of the usual decennial schedule at the behest of President Trump to add five potential congressional seats for their party—and Republicans largely agreed.

The redistricting plan, which is expected to be signed by Gov. Greg Abbott in the coming days, has set off a national partisan arms race, reshuffling the landscape for next year’s midterm elections and potentially permanently altering the parties’ electoral calculations. California has already begun a high-stakes gambit to redraw the massive blue state’s congressional lines in response, while other red states, egged on by the White House, are jockeying to follow Texas’ lead.

The upshot of the redistricting wars looks likely to benefit Republicans overall. And the episode seems fated to stand as yet another illustration of Trump’s willingness to use his stranglehold over his party to maximize his power, polarizing the national landscape and trampling long-held norms in the process, and leaving the opposition dazed.

Then there is this, via the Editorial Board at the Wall Street Journal:

President Trump promised voters during his campaign for a second term that he had bigger things on his mind than retribution against opponents. But it is increasingly clear that vengeance is a large part, maybe the largest part, of how he will define success in his second term.

His revenge campaign took an ominous turn Friday as FBI agents raided the home and office of Mr. Trump’s first-term national security adviser John Bolton. They brought two broad warrants to search the “premises.” Agents showed up unannounced at his Bethesda, Md., home at 7 a.m. They confiscated his wife Gretchen’s phone because it was visible and not on her person. Mr. Bolton had already left for his office, which is where FBI agents greeted him.

Kash Patel, the FBI director, sent out a cryptic tweet at 7:03 Friday morning that “NO ONE is above the law . . . @FBI agents on mission.” He didn’t specify to whom he was referring, but the timing is unlikely to have been coincidental.

It’s hard to see the raid as anything other than vindictive. Mr. Bolton fell out of Mr. Trump’s favor in the first term and then wrote a book about his experience in the White House while Mr. Trump was still President. Mr. Trump tried and failed to block publication. The President then claimed Mr. Bolton had exposed classified information, though the book had gone through an extensive pre-publication scrub at the White House for classified material.

The book investigation faded away under President Biden, but now it looks as if Mr. Patel is reviving it. Whether Mr. Trump ordered the FBI probe or not doesn’t matter. Mr. Patel knows what the President thinks about Mr. Bolton, and the President’s minions in Trump II don’t serve as the check on his worst impulses the way grown-ups did in his first term. The presidential id is now unchained.

===

The real offender here is a President who seems to think he can use the powers of his office to run vendettas. We said this was one of the risks of a second Trump term, and it’s turning out to be worse than we imagined.

It seems the President Trump did not learn the lessons from his first term, that ended up being a disaster in the end. Furthermore, it seems that the President is out for revenge. The simpletons in the MAGA movement think that this is awesome. However, the MAGA movement is not the entire conservative movement; they might think they are, but they are not.

You see, there are principled people, like myself, that see these sort of actions as big Government tyranny. Whether it be on the State level, as in Texas or as in the Federal Government. You see, it seems that this “MAGA” Government and President, have something in common with the Neoconservatives of the early 2000’s —- and that is that the MAGA Government and President, love big Government, as long as they control it and it suits their agenda.

What America needs is a President that will respect the idea of limited Government and respect for our Constitution.

What am I talking about? This:

You can read the blog posting here.

Most of the time, Beege is funny. She totally missed the boat on this one. Calling a black woman, the coconut queen is not even remotely funny. Why didn’t she just call the former VP the N-Word and get it over with?

You see, where I come from, which is southwest Detroit, Michigan or “The Hood” as we Southwest Detroit alumni call it; calling a black woman, the coconut queen, would get your butt kicked or worse get your throat cut or get you shot in the head. Not a smart move by HotAir.com, which has been accused of racism and Antisemitism in the past, by former affiliates.

Beege and HotAir.com can and should do better than this nonsense. I mean, the left calls us Trump supporters racist bigots; why prove their point for them? It just does not make any sense to me at all.

One of the old school bloggers, from back in the day, has passed away.

Kevin Drum, a left of center blogger, which is, what I was prior to the buildup and election of Obama.

From NYT:

Kevin Drum, who gave up his day job in software marketing to write online about politics, policy and his cats, quickly becoming a key figure in the vanguard of center-left bloggers during the genre’s heyday in the early 2000s, died on March 7. He was 66.

His wife, Marian Drum, announced the death on his website but did not say where he died or cite a cause.

Mr. Drum, who lived in Irvine, Calif., had been diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2014 and had recently developed pneumonia. He blogged about those personal challenges openly and with the same insight that he brought to issues like health care policy and urban planning.

He spent most of his life in Orange County, Calif., which distinguished him from the majority of early big-name bloggers, many of whom hailed from the Washington-Boston corridor or from academic enclaves.

Mr. Drum began blogging in 2002 and quickly developed a large nationwide following. He helped shape what became known as the liberal blogosphere, populated by a broad amalgam of left-of-center thinkers who emphasized policy debates over political horse races.

His curiosity was broad, and he wrote on a variety of subjects from a variety of perspectives — sometimes casually observational, sometimes rigorously analytical — in a way that set him apart from the assorted camps that defined the blogosphere, including academics, politicos and ideologues.

Brian Delong quoting Ben Dreyfuss:

By 2020, I was the editorial director of Mother Jones and no longer did much of anything directly except oversee the newsletters AND occasionally act as Kevin’s protector. Because the whole liberal journalism universe had gone crazy at this point. We had spent years hiring all these young kids who hated Kevin. They hated anyone with his politics or his tone. He was a normie white lib in Orange County, you know?

He was regularly the main character on Twitter, which wasn’t fair, and internally that spilled over to the point where the Mother Jones union was constantly complaining about him. All these staffers that didn’t know him would go on Twitter and get into a lather about how he was the devil and complain.

The greatest example of this is the movie Parasite. Kevin wrote a blog post about how he doesn’t like subtitles in the specific context of Parasite. I read it and saw nothing wrong with it. The CEO read it and saw nothing wrong with it. Twitter read it and lost its shit. This spilled over into Slack and people were acting like he was in the KKK. I had to email him and say “Hey, please do me a favor and elaborate on your point about subtitles in a new post because all these idiots are misconstruing you and it’s causing problems for me.” He then did do exactly that.

This sounds insane. Who cares if he likes subtitles or not? I hate subtitles. I actually refuse to watch most foreign films because I hate subtitles and dubbing. But this shit was just par for the course at this time.

So, in a sense, Kevin was forced out of Mother Jones, because he was an older white guy, who was not in tune with the radical Neo-Left. Sounds about right to me. I too, basically, left my Left of Center position, because it seemed to me, that white people like me; were not longer welcomed in that party and political spectrum anymore.

Rest in peace, Kevin. Your moderate liberal voice will be missed.

Well, Donald J. Trump made it. As I wrote before, I voted for the man. I quite literally had no other choice and basically, I could never really vote Democrat, they have just lost me.

Paraphrasing John Wayne slightly, I voted for the man, I hope he does a good job.

I just hope that the President does not get caught up in the blatant stupidity that hounded his last Presidency. To be fair, he does seem to have a quite competent team around him this time.

I do hope, however, that the President is able to get this Nation back on the path that it desperately needs to return to being on.

I hope the prices on food, gas, goods, and other such things drop back to acceptable levels.

I hope that we can cast the Neocon, internationalist Democrat style of foreign policy, trade, and world outlook into the dustbin of history as an example of what not to do.

I hope that Democratic Socialism is cast into the ash heap of history, as a tragic mistake that almost cost the Democratic Party any sort of political legitimacy and it will be viewed as an flawed political doctrine and that the Democrats will never, ever give those fools any sort of place at the table of political discourse ever again.

I hope that the MAGA movement and Donald J. Trump’s fight to regain the White House is used by Conservatives to political students of the Republican Party on how to effectively reach those who are not a part of your normal demographic and as an cautionary tale of what happens when a movement gets out of control of its intended purpose. (See Jan 6)

I hope that the Republican Party, President Trump and the Conservative movement as a whole, does not get cocky and use this victory to bash the Democratic Party over the head. Their resounding defeat in the election did that very well.

I hope that President Donald Trump does not abuse his power as President.

Other than that, I have nothing to say really.

I am just glad that America is back!

I wrote about this story, back when only Townhall reported on it.

Well, it seems that these two Pedophile queers, finally got their just deserts.

Via New York Post:

A gay Georgia couple convicted of sickening sexually abuse of their two adopted sons will spend the rest of the lives behind bars.

William and Zachary Zulock, 34 and 36, were each sentenced last week to 100 years in prison without the possibility of parole, the Walton County District Attorney’s office announced.

“These two Defendants truly created a house of horrors and put their extremely dark desires above everything and everyone else,” said District Attorney Randy McGinley, according to WSB-TV.

“However, the depth of the Defendants’ depravity, which is as deep as it gets, is not greater than the resolve of those that fought for justice and the strength of the victims in this case. The resolve I have seen from these two young victims over the last two years is truly inspiring,” he added.

The boys — two brothers who are now 12 and 10 years-old — were adopted from a Christian special-needs agency by the Zulocks.

The couple raised them under the guise of a happy home in an affluent Atlanta suburb.

But their supposedly picture-perfect life — Zachary worked in banking and William was a government employee — held a dark secret.

The couple were regularly forcing the boys to have sex with them, and would film the abuse to make pedophilic pornography.

Evidence showed they even bragged about the abuse to twisted friends, with one telling police Zachary once sent a Snapchat message reading “I’m going to f–k my son tonight. Stand by,” along with images of the boy being abused.

And they allegedly used social media to pimp the boys out to at least two men in a depraved local pedophile sex ring.

The couple was arrested in 2022 after an alleged member of the ring was caught downloading child porn, and he told the investigators how the Zulocks were making porn with young boys living in their house.

Both Zulocks plead guilty to charges of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, sexual exploitation of children.

This is why I am against Homosexuality. Because of stuff like this here. It is truly the Sodomite lifestyle and it is an abomination to God. Here is hoping that these bastards are killed in prison.

This one jolted me quite a bit.

I found out today, that Annette Howard, the owner of Hosting Matters died after a long battle with Cancer.

I cannot say enough good things about Annette and Hosting Matters. I never met Annette, as she was based in Florida. However, her company was a God send, after being a several hosts, that really could not deal with a political blog like mine. Annette and hosting matter really knew how to deal with blog like mine.

There were times, when I would forget my cpanel password or something would go haywire with the blog and I would figuratively be running in circles with my hair on fire and my blood pressure would be at def-con 1 and Annette or one of her employees would straighten out whatever was messed up. Always with calming effect as well, I might add.

I just found out yesterday that Annette, knowing things were not going well, decided to sell the business to Entirely Digital. So far, Mike, is doing a good job and calmed my nerves about the transition to the new company.

My thoughts and prayers to family and friends of Annette Howard, it is truly a great loss.

I became aware of this sad news this morning. Jazz Shaw, an Blogger from the old days; before the Democratic Party lost it’s ever loving mind —-has passed away suddenly at age 65.

Ed Morrissey at HotAir.com remembers Jazz:

How do you say goodbye to your brother from another mother?

First, we start off with the basics. Jazz Shaw was born and raised in Schuyler, NY on September 24, 1959. He served his country with honor in the US Navy, collecting some great stories along the way. He married Georg Hawks, and the two of them opened their home to rescue animals to give them love and a good life.

I got to know Jazz 20 years ago or so, when we both began blogging. At the time, he co-blogged at a fun site called the Middle Earth Journal with the late Ron Beasley, who passed away several years ago. It’s only fitting that we began our friendship by sharply disagreeing with each other over politics on our respective blogs. We got into a habit of picking out topics for debate and doing a back-and-forth, where we always took each other’s point of view with respect — even while disagreeing.

It didn’t take long for us to become fast friends. I feel as though I am telescoping that process too much, although I don’t know if I could ever do it justice. The more we learned about each other, the closer we got, and the more fun we had with each other. After I moved to Hot Air, we continued to banter, both in print and in conversations, sometimes live on air and sometimes in private. When I had the opportunity to get him into the mix at Hot Air, I never hesitated — and it has been an absolute dream ever since to work with him on a daily basis.

I started reading Jazz Shaw at Middle Earth Journal right around the time, when I started to feel exhausted with the Democrat’s using the Iraq War as a wedge issue and their defeatist attitude about that war as well. Not to mention the Dems support of abortion, without limits and Homosexual stuff, which as an Christian of 42 years, I just cannot and will not accept as normal.

I continued to read Jazz over at HotAir,com as well. He was, I felt, one of the reasonable voices at the blog, along with Ed as well. Especially after Malkin left. I respected her and all. But, sometimes, she came off as an bit an uppity asshole and an Asian bitch. I will not get into what happened to Malkin and why she is basically is no longer involved with politics. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Rest in Peace Jazz, you have earned it.

This was a seriously stupid mistake.

Via The Hill:

Trump spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said jokes made by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe about Puerto Rico, Jews and other minorities at former President Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally Sunday night were in “poor taste,” as the campaign sought to distance itself from the material.

“It was a comedian who made a joke in poor taste,” Leavitt said during an appearance on Fox News.

…..

Obviously, that joke does not reflect the views of President Trump or our campaign, and I think it is sad that the media will pick up on one joke that was made by a comedian, rather than the truth that were shared by the phenomenal list of speakers that we had.”

Hinchcliffe made a number of jokes that earned audible groans from the crowd and that has put the Trump campaign into a defensive mode, including at one point referring to Puerto Rico as a “floating island of garbage.”

“There’s a lot going on. Like, I don’t know if you know this, but there’s literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now. I think it’s called Puerto Rico,” Hinchcliffe said, eliciting mixed reactions from the crowd.

At another point, Hinchcliffe said Latinos “love making babies.”

“They do. There’s no pulling out. They don’t do that. They come inside. Just like they did to our country,” he said.

This obviously was a huge blunder by the Trump campaign. They did not think to vet his routine?

Donald Trump might be an asshole, conceited and a bit of an elitist prick. But I will take that over a socialist giggling, race-baiting bitch, any day of the damn week.

I mean, Kamala Harris has no plan, she stole the majority of her shit from Donald Trump and she’s a fucking gott-damned liar. Plus, she wants Israel to fail. She is on the Democrat train of calling for a fucking cease fire. A Fucking Cease-fire?

Those towel-headed mother fuckers in the Gaza Strip; Hamas, I mean. Attacked Israel on October 7 of last year, following by their goat humping fucking friends in Lebanon murdered children and took hostages; and these assholes on the left want a fucking cease fire??!?! Fuck them.

It is okay though, her campaign is losing and the democrats know it. Why do you think that she is trotting out all these celebs from Hollywood, Music and otherwise? Because the majority of Americas know she’s a fucking fraud! First, they had that demented old fuck Biden and when they finally figured out that the alzheimer’s patient in chief could not win at all in a reelection, they tossed this fucking gigging idiot out there and tried to get America to believe the bullshit hype about her.

I mean, the liberal Jews are leery of her, the conservative Jews hate her with a passion. The Arabs, especially here in Michigan, HATE her. Most black men, even liberal ones are looking at her like she is a fucking fraud. Black woman, with exception of like the really liberal ones; think she’s a fucking joke.

Not to mention, the MEDIA. Holy shit, the non-fox news media is propping this two-bit fake ass, house negro up like a dummy in an Federal Theater Project. (some might get that reference) It is dishonest, it is unprofessional and it really makes people, like me, distrust ANY non-fox media outlet. (The exception being like Newsmax and other conservative outlets.)

Folks, the facts are that we do not need another four years of Democrat’s in the White House. We have seen our economy torn to shreds, inflation is through the roof, job numbers — when figure in the long term unemployed, like me, are terrible. Not to mention wars and tension all over the world, and illegal immigration is rampant; and is full of terrorists and criminals.

In closing, I offer a slightly modified ending of a very famous speech:

“Let us rise to the call of freedom- loving blood that is in us and send our answer to the tyranny that clanks its chains upon this Country. In the name of the greatest people that have ever trod this earth, I draw the line in the dust and toss the gauntlet before the feet of tyranny . . . and I say . . . American Freedom today . . . American Freedom tomorrow . . . American Freedom forever.”

And you can quote me on that one.

Trump 2024.

There is quite a bit that I want to say about this. But first, the story.

Via AP:

HONOLULU (AP) — Lou Conter, the last living survivor of the USS Arizona battleship that exploded and sank during the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor, has died. He was 102.

Lou Conter, the last living survivor of the USS Arizona battleship that exploded and sank during the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor.Conter passed away on Monday at his home in Grass Valley, California, following congestive heart failure, his daughter, Louann Daley said, adding she was beside him along with two of her brothers, James and Jeff.

The Arizona lost 1,177 sailors and Marines in the 1941 attack that launched the United States into World War II. The battleship’s dead account for nearly half of those killed in the attack.

Conter was a quartermaster, standing on the main deck of the Arizona as Japanese planes flew overhead at 7:55 a.m. on Dec. 7 that year. Sailors were just beginning to hoist colors or raise the flag when the assault began.

Conter recalled how one bomb penetrated steel decks 13 minutes into the battle and set off more than 1 million pounds (450,000 kilograms) of gunpowder stored below.

The explosion lifted the battleship 30 to 40 feet (9 to 12 metes) out of the water, he said during a 2008 oral history interview stored at the Library of Congress. Everything was on fire from the mainmast forward, he said.

Now, go read the rest of that, please.

May he rest in peace, he has more than earned it.

What strikes me is the amount of blogs that wrote about this. Sure, the major papers covered it, they had to, it is news. But, no left wing blogs at all and an smattering of right wing blogs covered it. It is sickening. The left wing blogs are too busy painting Trump is some sort of crazy person, who is going to declare martial law and imprison all Democrats and liberals if elected. The right, well they are too busy mocking Joe Biden and “owning” the liberals on the left…..whatever that means.

The crazy thing is, that war, the only constitutionally declared war, was fought to protect the rights of these boneheads who printing the tripe that they are printing today. If it were not for the MEN, and yes, they were MEN, fighting MEN that put their butts on line to protect this Nation of ours and to punish Japan and Germany from reaching their evil goals and the World is much better off for it too.

It is a terrible state what our media — Broadcast, cable, and online media have become in 2024.

I wasn’t entirely forthcoming in this post about why I haven’t written much the last few days. It is true that I have been in Washington, mostly to attend the Michael Mann v. Mark Steyn trial. I will write up my thoughts on the trial (or at least, those portions I have seen) when I have time.

But something else has been distracting me: leftists firebombed my office last Saturday night. At around 2 am, they broke into the building that houses Center of the American Experiment and two other conservative organizations with which we often collaborate, along with many other businesses. The arsonists set two fires: one was in the first floor corridor between American Experiment’s office and the space we sublease to Take Charge, Kendall and Sheila Qualls’ organization. A second fire was set on the third floor, immediately outside or perhaps actually inside the office of the Upper Midwest Law Center, on whose board I serve.

[…]

I am working with the FBI to try to identify the perpetrators. As I told them, the list of potential suspects is long, as my organization is active, and unusually effective, across a broad range of issues. I will have more to say about this before long.

This is what is left of his building:

The work of leftists or Maga Republicans, Maybe?Either way, this is a load of crap and I hope that Biden’s FBI does their damned job and finds out and arrests whoever did this. Because this…. this is domestic terrorism.

Update: John has an update on the fire.

As I wrote yesterday, Nikki Haley stepped on the whole Civil War/Slavery land mine.

Well, it appears that Republicans who are people of color are not too happy about it.

The story via Politico:

Republicans of color said on Thursday they were dismayed by Nikki Haley’s initial refusal to say that slavery was the cause of the Civil War. It wasn’t just an offensive historical omission, they argued, but a tactical blunder too.

“She easily could’ve communicated better in that moment, but chose to use a tired old political stump tactic by tossing the same question back to the guy who asked,” said Rina Shah, a Republican strategist based in Washington, D.C., in a text to POLITICO.

“What I do see is her having left out the word ‘slavery’ because she was scared to talk about anything regarding our nation’s complicated history. I think by acknowledging slavery she felt she might be alienating” Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis voters.

Haley, who is currently running in second among GOP primary voters in both New Hampshire and South Carolina, according to the Real Clear Politics polling average, declined on Wednesday night to say slavery was the cause of America’s deadliest war. The next morning, she attempted to clarify her statement during an interview with The Pulse of NH.

[….]

“She should’ve been able to answer the damn question and move on,” he said.

He added that her comments likely alienated moderate Republicans and swing voters she desperately needed to mount a successful challenge for the nomination.

“She had a chance to be competitive even though she was always likely to lose [the nomination]. However, that’s over now. She’s toast,” Singleton said.

I have to agree, Haley is running as a main-stream Republican and one of those tenants of the neo-conservatives is that the Civil War was about Slavery…only, nothing else. This also speaks to the anti-southern attitude amongst the neo-cons. Much like the Democrats with the blacks; The beltway, neo-cons, do not give a damn about the Republicans in the south, they just want their votes. Donald Trump proved that.

Nikki Haley just stepped into the whole civil war, slavery, north versus south thing and it did not go well, at all.

The story comes via Politico:

Nikki Haley declined to say that slavery was a cause of the Civil War on Wednesday evening, placing the blame, instead, on the role of government

The former UN Ambassador and South Carolina governor, who has seen her star rise in the first-in-the-nation primary state, was appearing at a town hall event in Berlin, New Hampshire, when a voter asked her to identify the cause of the war.

This is what Nikki Haley said:

“I think the cause of the Civil War was basically how government was going to run,” she responded. “The freedoms and what people could and couldn’t do. What do you think the cause of the Civil War was or argument?”

The questioner, who could not be easily heard off camera, was apparently unpersuaded by Haley’s response. When she asked him what he believed the cause of the war was, he replied that he wasn’t running for president.

“I think it always comes down to the role of government and what the rights of the people are,” Haley replied. “And I will always stand by the fact that I think government was intended to secure the rights and freedoms of the people. It was never meant to be all things to all people. Government doesn’t need to tell you how to live your life. They don’t need to tell you what you can and can’t do. They don’t need to be a part of your life. They need to make sure that you have freedom. We need to have capitalism. We need to have economic freedom. We need to make sure that we do all things so that individuals have the liberties so that they can have freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to do or be anything they want to be without government getting in the way.”

Technically, she is right; however, the word she was supposed to say, was slavery. However, instead of saying, “Yes, it was also about slavery”, she decided to act like a typical Trump-like candidate and did this:

When the questioner said it was “astonishing” to hear her respond “without mentioning the word slavery,” Haley replied: “What do you want me to say about slavery?” She then asked for the next question.

Yeah, that did not go over well, at all. The Neo-con bloggers pounced quick.

The truth is that there were many reasons for the south breaking from the union. The biggest one was the fact that President Lincoln wanted to create a centralized banking system and sought to confiscate all of the gold from entire United States. Well, the south did not like that idea at all. Plus, they felt that they did have the right to have slaves. So, it was basically those reasons why the south decided to leave the union of states.

The funny thing is, Nikki Haley is now claiming that the person that asked the question was a Democrat plant. That really does not matter, she knew how to ask the question, and she chose not to. Something tells me that Nikki Haley will not make it out of the primary race.

I think this is good idea, I will explain after the quote.

Via CNN:

The Michigan Supreme Court has rejected an attempt to remove former President Donald Trump from the 2024 primary ballot based on the US Constitution’s “insurrectionist ban.”

The outcome, which was generally expected, is a victory for the former president, though an effort to remove him could be renewed for the general election. Wednesday’s decision contrasts with the recent ruling from the Colorado Supreme Court, which kicked Trump off its primary ballot because of his role in the January 6 Capitol riot. That decision has been paused pending an appeal.

[…]

The Michigan Court of Claims judge who first got the case said state law doesn’t give election officials any leeway to police the eligibility of presidential primary candidates. He also said the case raised a political question that shouldn’t be decided in the courts.

His decision was upheld by the Michigan Court of Appeals, which said: “At the moment, the only event about to occur is the presidential primary election. But as explained, whether Trump is disqualified is irrelevant to his placement on that particular ballot.”

The order from the Michigan Supreme Court was unsigned, and the court did not release a vote count.

I know, I said that I would not be writing about Trump. However, this to me, is less about Donald Trump, and more about election law and the constitution.

The reason I believe that this is a good thing, not because I support Trump; I do not hate the man, I just did not like the way he acted, while he was in the White House. However, I feel that the voters should decide who wins the Primary election and not the courts.

I have never believed that the Government should ever decide election. Because that basically is federalized elections. Let the people decide, not the court. This is why I felt that the Supreme Court should have never gotten involved in the 2000 election, with Bush vs Gore.

So, for once, Michigan made a good decision.

I personally hope that Israel does this, because what happened on October 7, 2023 was a Terrorist attack and should be prosecuted until Hamas is totally defeated.

The Story via AP:

RAFAH, Gaza Strip (AP) — Israeli forces on Tuesday expanded their ground offensiveinto urban refugee camps in central Gaza after bombarding the crowded Palestinian communities and ordering residents to evacuate. Gaza’s main telecom provider announced another “complete interruption” of services in the besieged territory.

The military’s announcement of the new battle zone threatens further destruction in a war that Israel says will last for “many months” as it vows to crush the ruling Hamas militant group after its Oct. 7 attack. Israeli forces have been engaged in heavy urban fighting in northern Gaza and the southern city of Khan Younis, driving Palestinians into ever-smaller areas in search of refuge.

The U.S. said Israel’s minister for strategic affairs, Ron Dermer, was meeting with Secretary of State Antony Blinken and national security adviser Jake Sullivan. Despite U.S. calls for Israel to curb civilian casualties and international pressure for a cease-fire, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the military was deepening the fighting.

Benjamin Netanyahu says the war with Hamas will never end, until the following happens: (via WSJ)

Hamas must be destroyed, Gaza must be demilitarized, and Palestinian society must be deradicalized. These are the three prerequisites for peace between Israel and its Palestinian neighbors in Gaza.

First, Hamas, a key Iranian proxy, must be destroyed. The U.S., U.K., France, Germany and many other countries support Israel’s intention to demolish the terror group. To achieve that goal, its military capabilities must be dismantled and its political rule over Gaza must end. Hamas’s leaders have vowed to repeat the Oct. 7 massacre “again and again.” That is why their destruction is the only proportional response to prevent the repeat of such horrific atrocities. Anything less guarantees more war and more bloodshed.

In destroying Hamas, Israel will continue to act in full compliance with international law. This is especially challenging because an integral part of Hamas’s strategy is to use Palestinian civilians as human shields. Hamas places its terrorist infrastructure inside and underneath homes, hospitals, mosques, schools and other civilian sites, deliberately putting the Palestinian population at risk.

Israel does its best to minimize civilian casualties by dropping leaflets, sending text messages and using other means to warn Gazans to get out of harm’s way. Hamas by contrast does its utmost to keep Palestinians in harm’s way—often at gunpoint.

Unjustly blaming Israel for these casualties will only encourage Hamas and other terror organizations around the world to use human shields. To render this cruel and cynical strategy ineffective, the international community must place the blame for these casualties squarely on Hamas. It must recognize that Israel is fighting the bigger battle of the civilized world against barbarism.

Second, Gaza must be demilitarized. Israel must ensure that the territory is never again used as a base to attack it. Among other things, this will require establishing a temporary security zone on the perimeter of Gaza and an inspection mechanism on the border between Gaza and Egypt that meets Israel’s security needs and prevents smuggling of weapons into the territory.

The expectation that the Palestinian Authority will demilitarize Gaza is a pipe dream. It currently funds and glorifies terrorism in Judea and Samaria and educates Palestinian children to seek the destruction of Israel. Not surprisingly it has shown neither the capability nor the will to demilitarize Gaza. It failed to do so before Hamas booted it out of the territory in 2007, and it has failed to do so in the territories under its control today. For the foreseeable future Israel will have to retain overriding security responsibility over Gaza.

Third, Gaza will have to be deradicalized. Schools must teach children to cherish life rather than death, and imams must cease to preach for the murder of Jews. Palestinian civil society needs to be transformed so that its people support fighting terrorism rather than funding it.

That will likely require courageous and moral leadership. Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas can’t even bring himself to condemn the Oct. 7 atrocities. Several of his ministers deny that the murders and rapes happened or accuse Israel of perpetrating these horrific crimes against its own people. Another threatened that a similar attack would be carried out in Judea and Samaria.

Successful deradicalization took place in Germany and Japan after the Allied victory in World War II. Today, both nations are great allies of the U.S. and promote peace, stability and prosperity in Europe and Asia.

More recently, since the 9/11 attacks, visionary Arab leaders in the Gulf have led efforts to deradicalize their societies and transform their countries. Israel has since forged the historic Abraham Accords and today enjoys peace agreements with six Arab states. Such a cultural transformation will be possible in Gaza only among Palestinians who don’t seek the destruction of Israel.

Once Hamas is destroyed, Gaza is demilitarized and Palestinian society begins a deradicalization process, Gaza can be rebuilt and the prospects of a broader peace in the Middle East will become a reality

I agree with all of the above. Furthermore, I believe that Israel should send fighter jets into Qatar and bomb the nice hotel that Hamas leadership is staying in; cut the head off the snake. Israel should carpet bomb the south of Lebanon and destroy hezbollah and its leadership. The United States should tell the other middle eastern countries; “ you so much as even think attacking Israel an we will Nuke your Country off the face of the Earth.”

God bless Israel.

Second look at Gavin Newsom? Just kidding! He is an idiot, who just happens to disagree with the people, who want to remove Trump from the ballot in California.

Via Politico:

LOS ANGELES — Gov. Gavin Newsom has a message for California politicians eager to follow Colorado’s lead to block former President Donald Trump from the ballot: Cool your jets.

The Colorado Supreme Court ruled this week that Trump was ineligible to run for president because he fomented the Jan. 6 insurrection. The decision breathed life into efforts across the country, including in California, to disqualify the former president for violating the 14th Amendment.

But in a Friday afternoon statement, Newsom telegraphed to his fellow California Democrats not to get ahead of the U.S. Supreme Court, which will almost certainly be the final arbiter of that decision.

There is no doubt that Donald Trump is a threat to our liberties and even to our democracy,” Newsom said, “but in California, we defeat candidates at the polls. Everything else is a political distraction.”

His remarks threw cold water on numerous attempts by elected officials to seize on the Colorado decision.

I have to give hm credit, he is correct, however, many people in California disagree with him. Including his Lt. Governor and many others.

I say “Supposedly”, because quite frankly, I simply do not believe it at all. Putin’s ego, will not allow him to just stop. Putin wants all of Ukraine.

Via NYT:

President Vladimir V. Putin’s confidence seems to know no bounds.

Buoyed by Ukraine’s failed counteroffensive and flagging Western support, Mr. Putin says that Russia’s war goals have not changed. Addressing his generals on Tuesday, he boasted that Ukraine was so beleaguered that Russia’s invading troops were doing “what we want.”

“We won’t give up what’s ours,” he pledged, adding dismissively, “If they want to negotiate, let them negotiate.”

But in a recent push of back-channel diplomacy, Mr. Putin has been sending a different message: He is ready to make a deal.

Mr. Putin has been signaling through intermediaries since at least September that he is open to a cease-fire that freezes the fighting along the current lines, far short of his ambitions to dominate Ukraine, two former senior Russian officials close to the Kremlin and American and international officials who have received the message from Mr. Putin’s envoys say.

You should go read the rest of that; frankly, I do not believe it one bit. Putin is a nationalist. He believed that the break-up of the Soviet Union was a mistake, he had said as such.

While it might be wishful thinking, I just seriously doubt that there is even a kernel of truth to this story.

This is truly a very sad story.

Via NBC News:

A Pennsylvania family found shot dead in their backyard last week in what police say appears to be a suicide pact, included a mother and daughter who loved bowling and were devout Christian conservatives, people who knew them said.

Morgan Daub, 26, and her parents, James Daub, 62, and Deborah Daub, 59, were found dead on the ground in the backyard of their home in York County, Pennsylvania, on the morning of Jan. 25, after police responded to a request for a welfare check from a neighbor.

The West Manchester Township Police Department has since said that notes left inside the house indicate that the family recently made a “joint decision” to end their lives. Police believe Deborah Daub shot and killed her husband and then was shot and killed by Morgan, who died by suicide. Police said there were no signs of forced entry or struggle and no evidence that anyone else had been present.

An investigation into the deaths has been closed.

A sad story, right? But here is the reason why they did it:

Stabley said the Christian, churchgoing family “was never shy about letting anybody know what their beliefs were” when it came to religion and politics. Morgan and Deborah “very, very huge” supporters of former President Donald Trump, Stabley said.

“They were just so hell-bent on Trump winning, like this could be in the end if he doesn’t,” Stabley said, referring to an instance when he saw them just before the 2020 election. He said he stopped seeing the two after that.

A neighbor, who asked to remain anonymous for fear of personal or professional retaliation in their town, said the family had a “preoccupation with religion, especially on the dad’s part.” The family’s front yard was also “littered” with Pro-Trump political signs during the elections, and anti-abortion signs when Roe v. Wade was overturned, the neighbor said.

This is what they did:

The West Manchester Township Police Department has since said that notes left inside the house indicate that the family recently made a “joint decision” to end their lives. Police believe Deborah Daub shot and killed her husband and then was shot and killed by Morgan, who died by suicide. Police said there were no signs of forced entry or struggle and no evidence that anyone else had been present.

It gets worse:

Gabley said he was disturbed to see recent videos appearing to show Morgan on YouTube. In the videos, which the West Manchester Township Police Department has also said appear to show Morgan, the young woman speaks in stream-of-conscious fashion about God, the Antichrist and conspiracies about Trump and the 2020 election. Stabley said he is haunted by Morgan’s laughter in the videos.

“I never, ever, ever saw Morgan in that state,” he said.

Detective Timothy Fink said in a statement to NBC News on Friday that Deborah Daub left a written document, signed Jan. 19, in which “she speaks of a joint decision” by her and Morgan to end their lives. It refers to the “evil that has mounted against Morgan,” but does not go into further detail, Fink said.

Morgan and her father also left notes indicating that the family had planned how to carry out the shootings and made other preparations, including what to do with the family dog and assets.

Those notes were dated Jan. 24, a day before the bodies of the family were found.

Police said that the positioning of the bodies, the two guns found at scene, the shell casings and other evidence “support the account put forward by the written documents left behind by the family,” that “all three family members decided to end their lives on 1/24/2023.”

You see folks, this is what happens, when perfectly normal, Conservative Christian, people get caught up in conspiracy theories. Things like this above happen.

I do not normally like to get on the blame Donald J. Trump wagon on much of what people like to blame him for; but this, this is just too much. Yes, I blame Donald J. Trump, QAnon, The GOP, Fox News Channel, and all the rest of the idiotic fools, who spouted conspiracy theories about the election of 2020. Had Trump never started that fools errand of claiming the election was stolen, this family might still be alive.

My Prayers are with the family of these poor people.

I have been chomping at the bit to write this, since part one of this story dropped over on Townhall. The story is about two darlings of the LGBTQ+ community were brought up on child sexual molestation charges. It is truly a disgusting story.

Zachary “Zack” Jacoby Zulock and William Dale Zulock Jr. were accused of not only molesting their two adopted sons, who are now ages 9 and 11; and also filming it and distributing it on social media. But also pimping the two boys out to pedophiles in the Atlanta, Georgia suburbs.

This the list of the parts of this 4 part story: (with links)

  • Part 1 laid out the horrifying facts of the child-prostitution case,
  • Part 2 explored the LGBTQ pedophile ring’s reach
  • Part 3 shined a spotlight on the state’s failure to protect the two little boys from suffering through serial sexual abuse allegedly committed by their gay activist fathers, who became their adoptive parents thanks to Georgia’s courts and child-welfare system.
  • Part 4 deals with how these perverts are dealing with prison.

First of all, I would to say that Mia Cathell has done, what the MSM has not done; she actually did some darned good research on this 4 part series and has really exposed the failure of the Georgia child adoption agencies and the State’s failure to vet these two guys.

Second of all, I want to be absolutely clear: While I am not gay at all — I am not insinuating or suggesting that all gays or lesbians do this sort of a thing or would do this sort of a thing. I am quite aware that there are certain quarters of the Conservative media world who do actually make that sort of suggestion and insinuation; I am not a part of, nor do I have any relations with those sites. Any blogrolls on this site should not suggest any sort of an alliance, or agreement on all of their views. This includes Townhall.com as well. While I do want to promote this story, because I believe it is important. I do not agree with everything over at that website.

To those who might come by here from social media, and might read this: I say this to you. Leave your political bias at the door, please. Go to these links, tell me what you think and then, share this story with as many people as you can. If you think this story is alarming, sick and disgusting; inform the media that they should do it’s job and report this story, free of bias and truthfully.

Thanks for reading.
