In the one hundred and thirtieth year after Israel's going down to Egypt Pharaoh dreamed that he was sitting upon his throne, and he lifted up his eyes, and he beheld an old man before him with a balance in his hand, and he saw him taking all the elders, nobles, and great men of Egypt, tying them together, and laying them in one scale of the balance, while he put a tender kid into the other. - Reuel the Midianite and Job the Uzite, to hear their advice. Reuel spoke: "If it seemeth good to the king, let him desist from the Hebrews, and let him not stretch forth his hand against them, for the Lord chose them in days of old, and took them as the lot of His inheritance from amongst all the nations of the earth, and who is there that hath dared stretch forth his hand against them with impunity, but that their God avenged the evil done unto them?" Reuel then proceeded to enumerate some of the mighty things God had performed for Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and he closed his admonition with the words: "Verily, thy grandfather, the Pharaoh of former days, raised Joseph the son of Jacob above all the princes of Egypt, because he discerned his wisdom, for through his wisdom he rescued all the inhabitants of the land from the famine, after which he invited Jacob and his sons to come down to Egypt, that the land of Egypt and the land of Goshen be delivered from the famine through their virtues. Now, therefore, if it seems good in thine eyes, leave off from destroying the children of Israel, and if it be not thy will that they dwell in Egypt, send them forth from here, that they may go to the land of Canaan, the land wherein their ancestors sojourned. When Pharaoh heard the words of Jethro-Reuel, he was exceedingly wroth with him, and he was dismissed in disgrace from before the king, and he went to Midian.

In this episode, we continue looking at the journey of Joseph into Egypt. We revisit his brother and how they felt remorse after the fact and the lie that they came up with to appease their father. The father in his grief sends them out to seek revenge on animals and people. In this episode, we look at Joseph as he is dealing with the trauma of his brother's betraying and selling him and they sold to another group of travelers. The realizes that he is heading to Eygpt after overhearing a conversation far from his homeland. Trauma from the physical abuse that he's receiving because all this time he was broken and crying his heart out. The death of Deborah the daughter of Uz, the nurse of Rebecca, who had been with Jacob; Rebecca the daughter of Bethuel, the mother of Jacob, died in Hebron. Rebecca was one hundred and thirty-three years, and buried in the cave of Machpelah which Abraham had bought from the children of Heth. Laban the Syrian also died. God changes Jacob's name to Israel.

In this episode, we look at the power of God to reconcile these two brothers together from the power of HATE. How many of you have dysfunction in your family? Esau hated his brother that he sent his son and some men to steal all his wealth and then kill him. Jacob stole the Blessing from his brother. Esau sold his birthright but Jacob stole the Blessing from him through deception. God is in the business of RECONCILING broken relationships. He's so good at it. He had a plan in place to reconcile the fallen man back to himself before the foundation of the world. Do you have a relationship that is broken and need God to fix it? Just ask him to do it.
2 Corinthians 5:18-19 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

Isaac is born as promised; he is circumcised at eight days old, as God had commanded him. At the age of 2-3 he was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned. We look at the guest list at the feast and discuss sending Hagar and her son away into the desert.

Today, I talk about fear, what it means, and how to conquer it. The spirit of Fear brings other entities to stay; he opens the door for them. We see that demonstrated when Peter walked on water. He was afraid, and the spirit of doubt came in. Jesus did not address fear with him while he was on the water. He addressed doubt. Peter saw became afraid, and doubt came in.

Doubt and what it means and how to conquer it. Doubt: to differ, to contend with, to separate thoroughly, to withdraw from by implication to oppose. We get nothing because we differ with the word, but Jesus gives us the formula for victory over doubt. Mark 11:22-26: 22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Hebrews 11:17-19 By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had embraced the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, 18 even though God had said to him, "It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned." [a] 19 Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.

In this episode, we discuss the evil legacy that the Nephilim left us as humans after their birth and death on our planet. The book of Enoch states that they're still alive today but as did embody evil spirits bent on the destruction of man, just looking for a body to occupy. In the book of Matthew 8:28-34, we read an encounter that Jesus had with some of these evil spirits or demons. The same account is reported in Mark 5:1-20 and Luke 8:26-39, both of which are longer than Matthew’s account. While Jesus was here on the earth one aspect of his ministry was that of delivering people from the grips of evil spirits and demon possession, and taught his disciples how to do the same. He gave them authority over them then and now.
28 When He arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met Him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way. 29 “What do you want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?”
30 Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding. 31 The demons begged Jesus, “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”
32 He said to them, “Go!” So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water. 33 Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town, and reported all this, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men. 34 Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus.
