If you could truly see someone this way—every experience, every word, every choice, every emotion—your understanding of them would be boundless. You would meet them with an overwhelming sense of compassion, humility, and gentleness. Each encounter would be less about who they appear to be now and more about honoring the entire story that made them this way.
Knowing each event that shaped them would remind you how complex and fragile human lives are, how each of us carries a lifetime’s worth of emotions, traumas, triumphs, and quiet decisions. You would see that even choices that may seem flawed or puzzling have roots in experiences, circumstances, and beliefs as real and vivid as your own.
You would treat them with patience because you’d understand that what they feel today isn’t just a reaction to now, but to a lifetime. If you could hear every word that ever shaped them, you would become deeply aware of the power of words and choose your own with care, aiming to add meaning, warmth, and hope to their story.
Knowing their potential futures, their final breath—this might bring a sense of reverence. You might see each moment as rare and fleeting, each interaction as part of their journey and your own. You would see how powerful your influence could be in their life, and that awareness would deepen your commitment to kindness. Every word, every gesture would carry the weight of knowing that it can change a heart, leave a memory, or lighten a burden.
In short, with that knowledge, you would treat them with the utmost compassion, as a guardian of their story, one who acknowledges their past, supports their present, and, perhaps, in a small way, contributes to the future they will live.

Have you ever wondered where we would be without compassion? It's a question that resonates deeply with me, and I believe it's crucial for each of us to reflect on. In a world rife with examples of the absence of compassion tearing at the fabric of humanity, the need for change is more evident than ever.
Join me in this heartfelt discussion as we explore the transformative potential of compassion. As we witness global challenges, from wars and famines to societal issues, it becomes clear that compassion holds the key to healing and progress. It's a superpower that allows us to see beyond the surface, connecting us on a profound level.
In this video, I delve into the significance of compassion in our daily lives, urging each of us to be more intentional in how we communicate, listen, and interact with one another. The lack of compassion is evident not only in global issues but also in the way businesses and corporations operate. I challenge leaders to foster compassionate environments that prioritize respect and understanding for employees.
I share personal experiences of being raised by incredibly caring parents and witnessing firsthand the impact of compassionate living. From small acts of kindness within our homes to the broader scope of societal transformation, compassion has the power to elevate the human experience.
Together, let's recognize the responsibility we each bear in creating a compassionate world. I highlight organizations like the Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders, showcasing the selfless acts that contribute to the betterment of humanity. However, you don't have to embark on grand missions; simple acts of kindness and understanding in your daily interactions can create a ripple effect of positive change.
I invite you to join me on this journey of self-reflection. Consider the impact of your words, actions, and judgments on the world around you. By cultivating compassion within ourselves, we become the architects of a more compassionate and understanding world.
It's time to take a step back, look in the mirror, and ask ourselves, "How can I be a more compassionate human being?" The power to transform our world lies within each of us. Let's embrace compassion and, in doing so, pave the way for a brighter, more harmonious future.

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you disagreed with someone? It can be challenging, especially when the topic is important to both parties. But it's important to know that healthy disagreements are not only normal but also necessary for growth and progress.
I've personally experienced the benefits of healthy disagreements in my life. By respectfully expressing my opinions and listening to others, I've been able to learn from different perspectives and arrive at more informed decisions. It's also helped me develop stronger relationships with those around me, as we've been able to build trust and mutual respect through open communication.
Of course, healthy disagreements aren't always easy. It can be tempting to let our emotions take over, or to get defensive when someone challenges our beliefs. But by staying focused on the issues at hand and avoiding personal attacks, we can keep the conversation productive and respectful.
So the next time you find yourself in a disagreement with someone, remember that it's an opportunity for growth and learning. By approaching the situation with an open mind and a willingness to listen, you may just discover a new perspective that you hadn't considered before.

When we choose to focus on the good in others and ourselves, we create a positive energy that can inspire change and make the world a better place. So, let's all strive to be the positive ripples in our own communities and beyond. Together, we can create a ripple effect that reaches far and wide, spreading joy and positivity wherever we go.

Shanti Bhavan is a non-profit organization in India that provides high-quality education and holistic support to children from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds. With a mission to break the cycle of poverty through education, Shanti Bhavan offers a nurturing and empowering environment for its students, equipping them with the tools they need to succeed academically, professionally, and personally. Through its comprehensive programs, Shanti Bhavan is creating a brighter future for these children and their families and helping to build a more just and equitable society for all.
In 1997, an Indian American businessman had a bold notion for combating generational poverty and established a unique school in India to make it a reality. Shanti Bhavan is the focus of a new Netflix documentary titled Daughters of Destiny.
Shanti Bhavan accepts only the poorest pupils, those from households earning less than $2 per day; 95 percent of its students are Dalit. They begin attending the school when they are four years old and continue until they graduate from high school, receiving a greater education than they could have had in their poor, rural areas and living in a stable atmosphere meant to help them develop.

Kindness rocks because it positively impacts both the giver and the receiver. When you act kindly towards someone else, it can create a ripple effect that spreads throughout your community and beyond. This can lead to a more compassionate and empathetic society, where people are more willing to help and support each
The kindness rocks project is a popular movement where people paint or decorate rocks with uplifting messages or images and then leave them in public places for others to find. This movement started as a way to spread positivity and kindness and has since become a worldwide phenomenon

WHAT IS LOVE?
Defining love is a complex and subjective matter, and there is no single "exact" definition of love that can fully capture its many forms and nuances. Different people and cultures may have different understandings of what love means to them, and the experience of love can vary widely depending on the individuals involved and the context of their relationship.
That being said, many experts have attempted to define love in various ways. For example, some may define love as an intense feeling of affection or attachment towards someone, while others may view it as a more complex emotion that involves a combination of physical, emotional, and cognitive factors. Some definitions may focus on the importance of actions and behaviors in demonstrating love, while others may emphasize the subjective experience of being in love.
Ultimately, the definition of love may depend on one's personal beliefs, values, and experiences, as well as the cultural and societal context in which they exist. While there may not be a single, universally accepted definition of love, many people would likely agree that it is a deeply meaningful and important part of the human experience.

Love is a complex mix of emotions, behaviors, and beliefs associated with strong feelings of affection, protectiveness, warmth, and respect for another person. Love can also include deep romantic or sexual attraction. It often involves actions, commitments, and attitudes that demonstrate a caring and selfless devotion to another person, and can lead to feelings of happiness and fulfillment. The true meaning of love can vary between individuals and cultures, but it generally involves treating others with kindness, respect, and compassion, and putting the needs and happiness of others before one's own.
Love can take many forms, including familial love, platonic love, and romantic love. Love can be experienced by friends, family members, pets, or romantic partners. Love can be expressed through actions such as giving gifts, performing acts of service, or simply spending time with someone.
The depth and strength of love can also vary. Some people may have a deep and lasting love for another person, while others may have more fleeting feelings of love. Love can also change over time, as people and relationships evolve.
One aspect of love that is often emphasized is selflessness. True love often involves putting the needs and happiness of the other person before one's own, and being willing to make sacrifices for the sake of the relationship.
It is also worth noting that love is not always easy, and can often involve challenges and difficulties. However, a strong love can endure challenges and setbacks and can grow even stronger as a result.
To sum it up, the true meaning of love can be different for everyone, but it often involves strong feelings of affection, compassion, and commitment, as well as actions that demonstrate care and selflessness towards another person.
Have you asked yourself what love means to you?

The power of love is infinitely greater than the force of fear. -Harold W. Becker
Changemakers harness the immense power of love to drive transformation. They do this by infusing love and compassion into all they do - showing empathy and understanding towards those they aim to help, treating every person with dignity and respect, and striving to create a more loving and inclusive world. By incorporating love into their approach, these changemakers foster strong connections and bring about positive change that lasts.
We can use the power of love as a tool for change that goes beyond just emotions, it drives actions and decisions toward creating a better world. Changemakers like Ame-lia understand that love is a universal language that transcends boundaries and unites people, regardless of their backgrounds or differences. They use this understanding to bring about positive change, by approaching their work with a compassionate and empathetic mindset, and striving to create an environment that is inclusive and supportive.

“You can have it all, just not all at the same time,”
Being a working mother is not a one-time decision. Neither is the way you organize your work-life balance. As your children get older, your profession progresses, and your family's demands change, you'll need to change course to find a solution that works for everyone. That's natural and healthy — and necessary for long-term enjoyment in various areas.
Because of gendered expectations of women's caring obligations, colleagues and bosses anticipate mothers will put their careers on hold...so they give them less chances or projects, discount their work, or condemn them for leaving early to pick up their children.
The first step is to clarify what balance means to you and avoid comparing yourself to others. Assume you have a large job with many duties. That probably means you won't be able to pick up your children from school or attend some of their activities, but that doesn't mean you're a horrible mother.
The final truth is that your definition will differ depending on your employment, your support, your desires, and priorities. The ideal equation for you and your family will most likely differ from that of your neighbor. This may alter when your career changes and your children get older. Everything is fine. Continue to redefine balance and be open and honest with your spouse about your needs, desires, and degree of happiness.

There are many reasons why people may seek recognition. Some people may seek recognition as a way to feel valued and appreciated by others. They may want to be recognized for their hard work, achievements, or personal qualities. Others may seek recognition as a way to feel a sense of belonging or acceptance within a group or community. Still others may seek recognition in order to boost their self-esteem or confidence. Ultimately, the desire for recognition is often rooted in a basic human need to feel valued and connected to others.
Here are a few more factors that may contribute to a person's desire for recognition:
A sense of accomplishment: Achieving goals and receiving recognition for those achievements can be a great source of satisfaction and pride. This can be especially true when the goals are challenging or require a significant amount of effort.
A need for validation: Many people seek recognition as a way to validate their skills, abilities, or worth. This can be especially true when a person has doubts about their own abilities or value.
Social comparison: People often compare themselves to others and look for ways to stand out or be seen as more successful. Seeking recognition can be a way to demonstrate superiority or to feel more confident in one's own abilities.
Personal growth: Some people may seek recognition as a way to push themselves to grow and improve. Receiving recognition for their efforts can be a motivator to continue learning and striving for excellence.

Looking in the mirror and describing what you see is an example of self-reflection. It is a method of evaluating yourself, your work, and your study methods. Put,' reflection' means to think about something.
When people criticize us or our work, most of us are easily offended, Some may really take it badly. But, what we have to learn is to accept criticism as a way to improve ourselves, a way to become the best version of ourselves. When someone criticizes you. Take nothing personally. To begin, recognize that the individual providing constructive criticism does not mean to make you feel horrible about yourself.

"The world is waiting on your story. The world is waiting for what you do because only you can do what you can do"
It is essential to take care of your body in order to stay fit and healthy for as long as possible. However, advice on how to care for your body is contradictory and sometimes perplexing. It might be challenging to determine what is ideal. Many individuals stop any attempt to care for themselves because it is simply too tough.
However, just because something is difficult does not indicate that the effort is not worth it. Common sense tells us that even a bit of exercise, a little more sleep, and avoiding eating that second piece of cake is likely beneficial. A little science and a lot more common sense may go a long way toward assisting you in working out.

We are all afraid. We wouldn't be living if we didn't feel dread. But there's a tremendous difference between being scared and being motivated by it. Most individuals are motivated by their anxieties, which cause them to make (or avoid making) decisions that take them down a dark, sticky dead-end path.
When you are afraid you cannot express your full potential. Always express who you really are and always spread kindness to other people.

The phrases "hearing impaired," "hard of hearing," "deaf," and "deafened" are frequently misunderstood, both in meaning and propriety of use. The phrase "hearing impaired" refers to those who have any degree of hearing loss, from slight to profound, including those who are deaf or hard of hearing. Many deaf or hard of hearing people prefer the labels "deaf" and "hard of hearing" because they are more positive than "hearing impaired," which indicates a deficit or that something is wrong that renders a person less than whole.
OUR GUEST: Teresa Barnes, RN a former ED manager has a 57 dB hearing loss since birth and is advocating for Hearing Awareness. She understands the nuisances of this health and social condition, both personally and professionally. Working to change the values of corporations towards those with hearing loss for greater inclusion, equality, productivity, retention, communication, and safety. Giving visibility to hearing loss and reducing stigma, so no other child or adult has to experience the pain she did, not being understood with this disability. The Hearing Friendly Symbol for safety, inclusion, visibility, and awareness was created and has evolved.

LANGUAGE: /ˈlaNGɡwij/
Language is an essential component of any civilization. It is how individuals interact with one another, form connections, and foster a feeling of community.
Language is a crucial feature of communication, which is a fundamental component of every culture. As language evolved, distinct cultural societies used sounds to construct collective understandings. These sounds and their related meanings grew ubiquitous throughout time, and language was established. Intercultural communication is a symbolic process that constructs, maintains, repairs, and transforms social reality. Language is one of the most challenging hurdles that people from diverse ethnic origins confront while interacting. Check out the infographic below to see how language has changed over time!
Ethnicity, gender, geographic region, religion, language, and many other characteristics all contribute to one's cultural identity. Culture is described as a "historically transmitted system of symbols, meanings, and standards." Knowing a language allows someone to immediately identify with people who speak the same language.

Patrick Carney, the Artiste, is an indomitable spirit who has shared his creative talent with the world in ways that are sometimes beyond measure. No one captures the ‘Essence of Women,’ the aura of their souls, the contours of their brilliance in the way this artist can. Carney captures the legacy that these women leave as footsteps on this earth.
While attending the School of Visual Arts in New York City, Patrick Carney had the privilege to study with Chuck Close, Marge Anderson, Robert Israel, Burne Hogarth and Milton Glaser; each of these teachers having a profound impact on his life.
As a youth he read voraciously – searching for answers which led to more questions. While pursuing studies at Buffalo State, he worked as a specialist in media at the Communications Center. Later he was named the Art Director of the Lafayette Community Center where he taught art to inner city children. For a time he traveled throughout the NY State as an Artist in Residence at underprivileged high schools as a representative of the Arts Council, and volunteered as a art teacher in the state prison system, believing that it was his obligation to give back and “Pass On” his given talents.
Starting in 1964 in NY’s West Village, Mr. Carney dedicated his time to drawing and painting the world of rock n’ roll music, it’s passion and creativity caught in real time forever. He traveled throughout the US attending rock concerts and painted whatever star excited him – and thus his work is a varied series of welcome surprises.
Hanging out at what he calls “the corner of Art and Soul,” the Artiste Patrick Carney creates the images of your youth, capturing on canvas the music you grew up with.
"OMG! You can't even imagine...the colors are so brilliant, expressions are so captivating and the descriptions are so thoughtful expressed. And the people he brings together are a bundle of joy, an inspiration rolled into one. You have to experience Patrick's awesomeness Live and In Person. Will take your breath away and surround you with love!" -Vizion Uni, Art Collector
Not only are Patrick Carney’s Acrylics and Pen & Inks purchased by collectors all over the world, his paintings are displayed in the personal collections of such luminaries as Dick Clark, John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Stevie Nicks, Bruce Springsteen, JD Souther, Tom Russell, Judy Collins, Al Kooper and Pete Seeger.
