November is here and the year is almost coming to an end! It is a tradition in my life to take the whole month of November to self-reflect. Now that I have you here hanging out with me every week, I'd like to extend an invitation to you, that you may join me in this journey. Last year we did "THANKSGIVING" November and it was an absolute success! This year throughout the month we're exploring how GREAT we are in our God given abilities. I can't wait to dig deep within me (hopefully you too) to discover the GREATNESS that is in me. This is "I AM GREAT" November.
Cheers to GREATNESS!

I found myself praying for marriage, because that's what I thought that I was supposed to be doing at my age, but deep down I knew that I didn't have a real desire for marriage. It was until recently that I decided to be honest with God. He has been kind enough to point the lies that I have believed that killed the desire of marriage within my heart.
Don't feel guilty if you are like me at this moment. Talk to God about how you feel and allow His work to be completed in you.
The Bible asks us to pray continually (refer 1 Thessalonians 5:17). I want to encourage you today to keep praying for that person who has been in your heart. Don't give up even when you can't see change happening in that person's life. Your prayers are not in vain; God is listening, God is doing.
In today's episode, I had the privilege of sitting with the bold conversationalist Nyawira Gachugi. She creatively took a social media commonly used statement 'Long Post Alert' to write a devotional on anxiety. I am all about edifying and this episode is it.

I have had a difficult time differentiating what is important from what is not that I ended up wasting a lot of time in unnecessary things.
It's now becoming more important to me to know what is important in my to-do list and what is a distraction. Today's episode is focusing on being able to prioritize what is important and fixing our eyes on that; productivity.

Intro: Be specific when you are bringing your needs before God. He's a good God and He's going to bless the desires of your heart.
This episode reminded me the beauty of obeying God. It's such an admirable thing to see young men and women courageously proclaiming the faithfulness of God.
I was also reminded that God is the author of each and every one's life. Even in that hopeless situation He is still there. He'll make a way for you. He loves you so much, He'll never give up on you.

I have dared to do this episode. It's a controversial topic. LOVING THE ABUSER. But this one thing I'll say, "You can't change the world with hate." Christ loved us while we were yet sinners(His enemies). He could have chosen to destroy each and everyone of us, but He didn't. He chose love. His love for us, for the ones who have accepted Him, causes us to be compassionate like Him. His love causes us to love our enemies. And this is what this episode is all about. Loving the person who caused you pain. Telling them that they don't have to live hurting others anymore. Telling them that Christ died for them too. Telling them that they too can bring their hurt and pain at the feet of Jesus. That they were created in the image of God.
Listen, this is the beginning of a conversation that I hardly hear about. Kelvin and I only scratched the surface. We can't wait to hear from you. We are open to correction. Maybe on something you think that we didn't articulate correctly or something that should have been said. Every argument is welcome.

This episode reminds you that you're not forgotten. That God sees you in your misery; when broken-hearted. When you feel like everything is gone and you are standing at the edge, that's when God shows up. He showed up for Mary when her brother Lazarus had died, he showed up for Abraham and Sarah and gave them a child at an old age, He showed up for Leah when her husband refused to love her. The same God who showed up for all these people and many more, is going to show up in your situation. Don't give up yet: keep your faith in the Lord.

Do you give thanks when God exposes a certain sin that it's in you? Maybe you should start doing so if you don't. 1 Thessalonians 18 says "Give thanks in all circumstances". The first human instinct when faced with a truth is to try to deny it or suppress it or to shamefully try to make our wrong right. But God assures us that we're His righteousness, we don't need to cave in when faced with a truth. Instead let us repent and give thanks to God for His faithfulness to us.

Thank you for always listening and sharing my podcast. I really appreciate it. For the coming month of November, I am excited to produce 30 episodes in the spirit of #ThanksgivingNovember.
