Pastor Rob starts his new series on "Oh Taste and See..." Part one discuses how to get out of the dungeon of despair and how to combat fear and insecurities.
The clouds come, the storm brews, the waves are getting too high. It's scary out there. Scripture tells us that even in the darkest storm, God is among us.
Pastor Rob uses scripture to comfort us as we are going through our storms even today.
God took our plans for service today and completely through them out. The result... prophecy and incredible healing.
Dan 2:20-21 20 Daniel answered and said: “Blessed be the name of God forever and
ever, For wisdom and might are His. 21 And He changes the times and the seasons; He
removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to
those who have understanding.
The foundation for the Tower of Pisa was laid in 1173, constructed mainly of marble and lime and also ground consisting of clay, fine sand, and shells. The cause of the lean is due to a reaction of the composite of clay, fine sand, and shells that the tower is built on. This soil mix is more compressible on the south side. Isaiah 28:16-17 “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who relies on it will never be stricken with panic. 17 I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the plumb line; John 4:19-26 “Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a prophet. 20 Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.” 21 “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.
