Planet Logic takes the vital issues of the day, strips them of their emotion, and analyzes them with logic aforethought.
Lynn Woolley welcomes Kristine Stevenson of Proverbs 16:15 LLC to discuss the Internal Revenue Service, how it operates and what to do when you owe money to Uncle Sam. Kristine is a personal and small business financial coach who specializes in cases involving the IRS. How do you get out of trouble (or stay out of trouble) with the agency, and what about people who haven’t filed a tax return in years? We’ll also discuss the right and wrong ways to use credit cards, and when to avoid taking out a student loan.
President Donald Trump has permanently changed the country and the world. From a shaky peace in the Middle East to tariffs to enforcement of immigration laws, nothing is as it was. On this episode, Lynn is joined by IT expert and college professor Shane Curington to discuss the mark that Trump has made upon politics, largely through the force of his own personality. We take a deep dive into what the country and the world would be like if there were no Donald Trump.
Lynn is joined by IT expert April Cousins to discuss the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and whether it will ever be able to reason as a human does. Lynn asks April whether a robot could ever be president of the United States, and if robots will become our companions and even fight our wars. We nerd out just a bit while discussing Isaac Asimov’s robot stories and the best robots in movies and on television. See if you agree with our choices.
Lynn Woolley is joined by broadcaster and college professor Shane Curington to discuss how MAGA has changed the world – but almost didn’t. One year ago – July 13, 2024 – a would-be assassin’s bullet narrowly missed being a headshot to Donald Trump. Instead, it bloodied his right ear and may have added to the former President’s momentum, as he sped to victory against Kamala Harris. Had the bullet killed Trump, the world would be very different from where we are today regarding immigration, war, tariffs, taxes, the Epstein files, and even a deadly flood. Lynn and Shane discuss the state of the world and the big issues that might have had completely different outcomes, but for a fortuitous turn of the President’s head.
Our local TV anchors are like old friends who drop by the house to visit. And so it was with Kris Radcliffe who passed away suddenly on October 30th. He was just 51, and his death came as a shock to his thousands of fans, and to those of us in the media who knew him. I first met Kris in my Temple radio studio when he joined me to promote a bottled water drive for the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston. After the interview I bought several cases and took them to the Channel 6 studios in downtown Temple. On November 25, 2019, I invited Kris to come to my home studio to do an extended interview on Planet Logic. He anchored the 6 PM newscast, drove to my house for the interview, and then back to Channel 6 for the 10 PM news. I have been a follower and admirer of his work ever since I first met him. And as a remembrance, here is that interview as it appeared half a decade ago.
The political conventions of 2024 are over and now it’s time to get down to real campaigning. So far, Democrat nominee Kamala Harris has been employing a strategy of avoiding actual issues and sticking to platitudes such as “we’re not going back,” and “joy.” Her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has told tall tales about his military service and his football coaching career, and has been found to have a long relationship with Communist China. Is it Communism they’re selling? Marxism? Lynn Woolley and Lou Ann Anderson break it all down.
Lynn Woolley and Lou Ann Anderson look at the state of the election, given the state of the world. As we were recording the podcast on August 5, 2024, Israel was bracing for retaliation from Iran, and the stock market in America was down 1,000 points. If Joe Biden is largely responsible for the wars abroad and the terrible economy, then is Kamala Harris also culpable? If so, can she be elected, and is Donald Trump capable of blowing an election that is his to lose? Harris is giving no interviews, and Trump may be talking too much. Here’s our analysis…
In this special edition of Planet Logic, hosted by Julie Sullivan, the past and future of over-the air-radio is front and center. The Lady of Logic asks Lynn Woolley how and why he wanted a career in radio, and then moves to the transition of AM radio from music to talk. What was radio like in the beginning? What happened to radio after television became prominent? What does the digital age have in store? And what about young people who get all their news from social media? As all traditional media faces an uncertain future, what would America look like without talk radio to provide a voice to Americans unserved by left-wing outlets that currently dominate the media landscape? Julie Sullivan is a traveling respiratory therapist.
Look at the madness on college campuses these days with the antisemitic, pro-Hamas protests and ask yourself: What am I getting in return for my tax dollars that support these left-wing schools? Then, think about your local schools where the top-heavy administration eats up more of your taxes, and yet so many students cannot read at grade level. Lou Ann Anderson of Political Pursuits the Podcast and Lynn Woolley of Planet Logic discuss how bad the situation is, and what you can do about it – if anything.
Bell County, Texas is Ground Zero in Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s crusade to empower parents and give them school choice. Why Bell County? Because it’s the home of longtime politician Hugh Shine who strongly opposes parent’s right to decide the best school for their children—like rich parents can do. Lynn Woolley of Planet Logic and Lou Ann Anderson of Political Pursuits the Podcast team up for a close-up of Rep. Shine’s increasingly personal and nasty campaign again Belton mom and political newcomer Hillary Hickland.
Is the world waking up to the dangers of globalism? Lynn Woolley (Planet Logic) and Lou Ann Anderson (Political Pursuits the Podcast) posit a theory: the country and the rest of the world are noticing the dangers of allowing global elites to run the world. From the climate change hoax to worldwide immigration disasters, what’s good for the world’s rich isn’t always what’s best for you and me.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott came to Temple, Texas on Friday to deliver a full-throated endorsement for Hillary Hickland, who is challenging long-time incumbent Hugh Shine in the Texas House, District 55. Abbott and Shine may see eye to eye on most things – but not school choice. Abbott has promised to endorse primary opponents of the 21 House members who voted against school choice – Abbott’s top priority in a just-failed special session. Here is the governor’s speech, in its entirety, followed by Hickland’s response.
Are Americans being fed a line of bull? And on a regular basis? For example, is ex-cop Derek Chauvin really guilty of murder? And why would he be placed in prison general population where he could be (and was) stabbed? What do we really know about January 6? And the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan? What are they keeping from us about Jeffrey Epstein and the list of people he associated with? Is climate change real, or just a way to enrich people like Al Gore? And in Texas, would school choice really take away money from public schools? Lynn Woolley (Planet Logic) and Lou Ann Anderson (Political Pursuits) discuss the ways we’re being kept in the dark.
In Washington, the fight over the next GOP House Speaker arose from the $33b national debt, and the cowardice of continuing resolutions and “omnibus” bills that kick the debt can down the road. In Austin the Republican bickering is over school choice and how some Republican lawmakers are subservient to local school superintendents. Planet Logic’s Lynn Woolley is joined by Political Pursuits’ Lou Ann Anderson to take a deep dive into Republican intra-party squabbling.
Hungary’s Foreign Minister, Peter Szijjarto was in Texas last week. Jim Cardle and I sat down with him in the studios of the Texas Public Policy Foundation in downtown Austin. The main subject was war in Ukraine, but we also talked about Joe Biden at the United Nations, immigration and refugee issues, and Donald Trump. This program was recorded on September 19, 2023.
Trump has been booked and mug-shot by a local DA who, herself, is an election denier. Is this an attack on free speech and the American Way? Political Pursuits' Lou Ann Anderson and Planet Logic's Lynn Woolley discuss this and many other aspects of the current ascent of tyranny into the American system. This episode is not particlarly optimisic. It is, however, truthful. And it's time to face the truth. We have this election cycle, and perhaps one more to fix it. We have a Republic -- if we can keep it.
The Deep State is thinking, "we got him now!" But is it really former President Trump who's indicted? Or is it the millions of people in America who see him as the only way to drain the Swamp? And, oh, how that Swamp needs draining! Some think the Swamp decides who can run for president and even who can win. If that's so, it explains how a frail, mindless puppet got into office, and perhaps who is the puppeteer! Join Lynn Woolley and Lou Ann Anderson for a deep dive into the inner workings of Washington and what it means to Trump, Biden, and the future of Our Republic.
‘Tis the season! No, not that one. This one is dangerous. It’s the season of impeachment and how it will end is anyone’s guess. Political Pursuits’ Lou Ann Anderson and Planet Logic’s Lynn Woolley discuss Trump’s impeachment history and how it relates to today’s potential impeachments of Joe Biden, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and even Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.
Hungary’s outgoing Minister of Justice visits with Cardle & Woolley, stands up for Conservative Values in the European Union: Judit Varga knows it’s not easy being a conservative occupant of a high office in a country that shares a border with Ukraine. She’s often been attacked for her conservatism and for her support of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. Jim and I sat down with her in the plush studios of the Texas Public Policy Foundation in downtown Austin.
How did Joe Biden get 81,000,000 votes? Isn't that the question we all want to ask? Lynn is joined by Lou Ann Anderson of Political Pursuits the Podcast to discuss all things Biden. That means, of course, Joe's mental state, his felonious son Hunter, who's pulling Biden's strings, what's the deal with Ukraine, and when will Joe resign from the presidency. Will Trump take on Kamala or Gavin Newsom, and what about RFKjr? Lynn and Lou Ann provide the best analysis of where both parties stand as Joe faces impeachment, and the 2024 campaign heats up.
John Wayne was a staunch conservative whose views were as repudiated by the political elites of his own day as they would be today. On Wayne's 116th birthday, Lou Ann Anderson of Political Pursuits and Lynn Woolley of Planet Logic take a close look at The Duke's stand on the issues and imagine what he would be saying now, were he still with us. Our source material comes from a May 1971 interview with Playboy in which Wayne did not mince words. You'll be astonished to discover how much of what he said then still is relevant in today's supercharged political environment. Here's what John Wayne would say...
Ruben Navarette is a nationally syndicated columnist out of San Diego whose thesis is: America needs more immigrants, not fewer. And he doesn’t much like the Biden administration’s handling of immigration more than what the Republicans are suggesting. Ruben joined us on a special edition of the Cardle & Woolley Show from Talk 1370. This program was recorded on May 18, 2023 in Austin.
Is this even America anymore? Is it too late to save it? Lynn is joined by Political Pursuits' Lou Ann Anderson to consider the following: We have a Supreme Court Justice that will not define "woman." Little boys are being surgically mutilated into some bizarre facimile of girlhood. We're renaming military bases, canceling women, and our joke of a president is conducting a war on fossil fuels. Trump has been indicted and Tucker Carlson has been removed from FOX News. What forces are behind this? And can they be stopped?
Lynn is joined by Dennis Farris, President of the Austin Police Retired Officers Association, who has worked security for William Shatner (Captain James T. Kirk) three times. Dennis talks about his encounters with Mr. Shatner, while Lynn recalls writing narration for Leonard Nimoy (Mr. Spock), and his time as emcee of the Dallas Star Trek conventions in the seventies. This program was recorded on April 27, 2023 in Austin, Texas.
Mr. Wolfe, a banker, is running for a position on the school board in the Central Texas town of Belton. He promises to support parental rights, teacher retention, and a brighter future for his district. These are troubling times for America’s public schools, and we asked him about CRT, school choice, porn in libraries, and even bond issue transparency. This program was produced in cooperation with Political Pursuits the Podcast.
Activists Brenda Howard and Hillary Hickland join Lou Ann and Planet Logic's Lynn Woolley to discuss what's happening in the 88th Texas Legislature. From school choice to transparency with regard to controversial curriculum and materials like graphic library books to general parental rights and taxpayer-funded lobbying, the panel talks key issues that impact the daily lives and welfare of Texas education consumers along with other taxpayers and impacted parties. Despite the public demanding accountability from government K-12 entities, the education industry strongly pushes back. Tune in for this discussion of what's up, what's at stake and what you should watch going forward.
More episodes of "Random Samplings of a Logical Mind." Whatever jumps into my head about what's going on in the news or in popular culture.
Biden's trove of classified documents has been exposed, but will he be treated the same as Trump? And will the Swamp protect Biden, or work to remove him? Join Lynn Woolley and Lou Ann Anderson as they explore the Brave New World of left-wing back-stabbing and contemplate what an "insurrrection" really is. We are now a nation of double standards, but which ones apply to Biden?
Trumpism lives, but is "America First" being challenged by international collusion to keep America from being great again? And what about Xi Jinping and the Chinese Communist Party? Lynn and Lou Ann discuss things that are only whispered in the halls of Congress.
The midterms are upon us and it's time to make sure that neither side can cheat. Hosts Lou Ann Anderson and Lynn Woolley are joined by Jeff Howard (Republican Election Director for Bell County, Texas) and Bell County Republican Party Chairman Mack Latimer to discuss how to make sure every legal vote counts.
We’ll begin with a brief election update, and then we’ll talk about the nationwide crisis of LGBT grooming in our public school libraries with two conservative activists taking on the Belton, Texas ISD. This edition of Planet Logic was produced in association with Political Pursuits the Podcast.
Is Temple, Texas a model for the nation in how to stop city government from implementing divisive DEI programs? Residents have stopped the hiring of a BIPOC Chicago DEI firm. But that's just half the battle. Now they must work to kill the DEI plan altogether. Lou Ann Anderson and I discuss all the aspects of this continuing battle on Political Pursuits and Planet Logic.
Public schools in Texas work with their lobbying organization to paint a rosy picture of what goes on in Texas classrooms, and to ensure that school bond issues virtually always pass. But now, parents are becoming more involved as they should. Here's the best information hour you'll find about the educracracy in Texas as Lou Ann Anderson and Lynn Woolley are joined by Belton activists Jeff Howard and Janet Brown.
Rockin' Rick Bell is a Central Texas music legend whose background will fascinate you almost as much as his mastery of guitar. We'll take you back to his days as a kick-boxer and then we'll talk about Rick's musical influences and guitar heroes. If you love Rick and Roll, hot guitar licks, and great on-the-road stories, don't miss this episode!
The news came late Sunday. Roscoe Harrison, Jr. , a pastor, broadcaster, and a very part of the history he covered, had passed away. Planet Logic interviewed Rev. Harrison twice on February 3, 2020. We wanted to hear him tell his own story about his life and career and we wanted his thoughts on the death of 28-year-old Michael Dean, a black man who was shot to death by a Temple police offer who was later charged with manslaughter. Roscoe was gracious to come to my home and sit for these interviews, and we are proud to present them to you unedited.
Bell County, Texas is a rapidly growing part of Central Texas just north of the burgeoning Austin metro area with more than 375,000 people. It’s the home of Baylor Scott & White healthcare facilities as well as Fort Hood. For the first time in three decades, the position of county chair of the Republican Party is up for grabs and two candidates are running for the job – Jeffery Ware and Mack Latimer. We thought it would be instructive to see how potential party chairmen will help keep Texas red. Planet Logic joined with Political Pursuits to discuss it with each candidate in two separate podcasts. And now, here’s our visit with Mack Latimer.

This episode is from the Texas Public Policy Foundation’s 20th annual “Policy Orientation,” a gathering of Texas’ and the nation’s finest conservative minds. We’ll start with Vance Ginn, the TPPF chief economist who says we have to stop spending. Rodney Scott who was head of the U.S. Border Patrol talks about the Biden Border Crisis. Sherry Sylvester says the loser of the week was woke companies who can’t do business in Texas anymore.
Biden really hit the skids this past week losing on just about every front possible. We’ll discuss it with Congressman Roger Williams and TPPF’s Sherry Sylvester. Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema contributed to that bad week by putting a fork in busting the Senate filibuster. And you’ll hear the audio of a busted Joe Biden essentially admitting defeat.
This was “Insurrection Week,” and the leftists in Washington, DC put on quite the extravaganza. Rep. Louie Gohmert discusses his run for Texas Attorney General and the possible impeachment of Joe Biden. Sherry Sylvester helps Lynn pick the week’s winners and losers. One of the losers is Kamala Harris who insulted the nation by comparing J6 to Pearl Harbor and 9/11. Ron DeSantis called J6 the Democrats’ Christmas.
The Biden presidency is in a hole and still digging as we enter 2022. Annie Spillman of the National Federation of Small Business says her organization’s annual poll came in at a 48-year low for optimism in the new year. Kevin Roberts, the new CEO of the Heritage Foundation tells us that Texas is now poised to remain a red state forever. Michael Barba of the Texas Public Policy Foundation calls Critical Race Theory “poisonous,” and FOX News contributor Steve Moore says the story of 2021 is the Biden meltdown.
Crime is running rampant in left-wing cities. Does that affect small business? What about mask and vaccine mandates? We’ll talk with Annie Spillman of the National Association of Small Business. John Lott of the Crime Prevention Research Center addresses the smash-and-grab crime wave and the importance of the secret ballot. Plus, Charlemagne Tha god and his devastating interview with Kamala Harris.
We discuss the Biden Disaster including Build Back Better, bidenflation, and the January 6 Commission with Congressman Pete Sessions. Then Sherry Sylvester of the Texas Public Policy Foundation talks about the March primary and says to the Democrats: “Is that all you got?” We’ll talk about Liz Cheney’s hatred for Trumpers and CNN’s statements that FOX News should not be allowed in the White House Briefing Room. Plus a look at a new product called "Total Relief."
Joe Biden edits and adds to the Declaration of Independence to make it woke. Joe Pojman who went to Washington for the great Roe v. Wade debate compares the pro-life rally there to the pro-abort rally. Sen. Dawn Buckingham joins us to discuss the future of the border wall, and the Alamo. Biden zooms Putin and Tucker gets tedious. And will the slogan “Fix the Damn Grid” win for Texas Democrats?
Economist Steve Moore jumps off FOX News and over to Cardle & Woolley to talk about the disappointing jobs report – and how Build Back Better is bad bad bad. Congressman Chip Roy tried to stop the continuing resolution because of overspending and Biden’s mandates, but it passed anyway. The new leader of the Heritage Foundation does his first radio interview in his new job, and he talks about Sonia Sotomayor’s odd comments about “public perception” of the Supreme Court. And Jason Modglin, President of the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers, talks about why gas prices are so high.
American culture is in the toilet. How’d that happen? Maybe art has something to do with it. We’ll discuss with Lou Ann Anderson along with the reawakening of parents about school boards and Critical Race Theory. Jim and I discuss the social justice aspects of suspect Darrell Brooks who’s accused of plowing through a Wisconsin Christmas parade killing at least six people.
The Biden Border Crisis continues and we’ll get the latest from Mark Morgan of FAIR, the former Acting Director of U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Glenn Hamer, CEO of the Texas Association of Business talks about the Biden economic crisis and Biden-flation. Sherry Sylvester of the Texas Public Policy Foundation joins us to pick the week’s winners and losers. And we’ll hear Louisiana’s Sen. John Kennedy take on Biden’s communist choice for Comptroller of the Currency.
Critical Race Theory looms large over the Democrat Party debacle in Virginia. We’ll discuss with Sherry Sylvester of the Texas Pubic Policy Foundation. And we’ll talk with Virginia Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin’s pollster, Chis Wilson. Back in Austin, a group of educators is planning to create a new University of Austin where free speech is welcomed. As you might expect, local media is already trying to cancel the project.
Crime is on a rampage in left-wing cities and we’ll discuss that with John Lott of the Crime Prevention Research Center. Biden’s Justice Department sues Texas over two commonsense voting protections. Jim says the education issue’s now on the side of Republicans – and Lynn agrees. Biden wants to hand out reparations to illegal aliens, even though he doesn’t realize that he does. Beto O’Rourke flames out in a new poll about the Texas governor’s race. And Suzette Porter of Capstar Financial talks about bidenflation and the Chinese threat.
On today’s show we talk with Texas State Sen. Robert Nichols about roads and transportation. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is explaining why Texas taxpayers must spend $3 billion to stop the latest caravan crossing the southern border. We’ll discuss a new poll that says Texans are in support of the new abortion law. We’ll talk to Chuck DeVore of the Texas Public Policy Foundation about Bidenflation and we’ll discuss blowback over the cross-dressing boy in Loudoun County who raped an actual girl.
We’ve got some great guests on today’s episode starting with Kevin Roberts, the incoming CEO of the Heritage Foundation, who says his first priority will be education. Steve Moore, a FOX News regular, talks about the upward swing of Bidenflation. Lou Ann Anderson exposes the “No Place For Hate” program that the Anti-Defamation League is using to infiltrate schools. It’s Critical Race Theory by another name. And Mark Morgan, former Acting Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Patrol on the Biden Border Crisis.
Here's a ten-minute collection of the last ten episodes of Random Samplings of a Logical Mind. Get ready for ten different subjects that are driven by the type of thinking that we don't see much of in Washington or Austin. Sadly. Includes two columns on the failure of government schools.
As the Left brands parents as America's new terrorists, School Districts still have their hands out asking for money. Planet Logic and Political Pursuits join forces for the most comprehensive looks at how schools are going woke as they ramp up for expensive bond issues during a time of outrageous spending by Democrats in Washington.
The Democrats are attempting to spend the country into bankruptcy and we’ll discuss that with Texas Sen. John Cornyn and with economist Steve Moore. James Quintero of the Texas Public Policy Foundation talks about parents fighting back against left-wing school boards. Elon Musk moves his Tesla headquarters to Austin, and Governor Greg Abbott meets with Republican governors at the border.
This is the most jam-packed Cardle & Woolley episode ever, coming to you from Washington D.C. where we were part of “Hold Their Feet to the Fire.” It’s all about immigration and the Biden Border Crisis courtesy of FAIR, the Federation for American Immigration Reform. We’ll start with my ambush of Sen. Bernie Sanders, then Chad Wolfe the former Acting Secretary of Homeland Security. Then we’ll talk with Sheriff A.J. Louderback of Jackson County, Texas, followed by Congressman Chip Roy. We’ll visit with Mark Morgan, former Acting Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border protection, Tom Homan former Acting Director of ICE, and we’ll wrap up with Diamond and Silk!
Everybody’s talking about the Biden Border Crisis—even CNN, and we’ve got some the best of FOX News’ Peter Doocy committing actual journalism at the Jen Psaki briefings. Matt Mackowiak of Save Austin Now talks about vanishing police protection in the Texas capital and the not-so-popular selection of the next police chief. And we’ll talk about far-left professors at UT Austin who don’t want a conservative think tank on campus. All this and more coming up from Planet Logic.
We begin with Washington economist Steve Moore who says the Democrat tax bill is an abomination and the worst tax-and-spend bill in his lifetime. Chuck DeVore of the Texas Public Policy Foundation says California has voted for a tax-and-spend status quo and people will keep moving out. Also, Haitians at the Texas border. And new calls for Joint Chiefs Chairman Mark Milley to be fired or court-martialed. And should immigrants with ten DUIs on their records be allowed to remain in the US? Democrats say yes.
We remember the heroes of 9/11 – now twenty years ago, and how we revered police and firefighters. John Lott who worked in the Trump administration and has a column in the Wall Street Journal, discusses the evils of mail-in voting. Ken Casaday of the Austin Police Association talks about current attitudes toward police. Jim and I discuss the woman in the gorilla mask who threw eggs at Larry Elder. We’ve got audio from Kamala Harris, who sounds drunk, and from California Gov. Gavin Newsom who can’t figure out why there have been six attempts to toss him out – all after this message!
Biden's phone call to the Afghan President, South X Southwest in Austin facing left-wing boycott, Nancy Pelosi in Austin speaking out against the Texas abortion law, CNN's master debater Jeff Toobin says Texas has brought about the end of Roe v Wade, and Joe Pojman of Texas Right To Life reacts to the new law.
Congressman Pete Sessions joins us to talk about Biden’s fitness to serve and Pelosi’s spending spree. Economist Steve Moore says the Democratic Party is now in the hands of AOC and Bernie Sanders. The Texas Voting Integrity Bill passes the House, and UT considers a conservative think tank on campus. No kidding.
We’ll start with Biden’s epic failure in Afghanistan and how long he can remain in office given that everything he touches turns to crap. Kevin Roberts of the Texas Public Policy Foundation talks about the Killer Flees from Texas and how soon we’ll have a Voter Integrity Law. We also visit with Rep. Michael McCaul about Biden’s Afghanistan debacle that McCaul refers to as “heartbreaking.” And we discuss Chris Cuomo’s comments about his creepy brother who is about to not be the governor of New York.
Another heaping helping of pure, unfiltered, unadulterated logic and common sense where any subject is open -- especially the insanity and ineptness of the Biden-Harris administration
Kent Hance joins us to talk about the future of Texas Tech Red Raider football in the wake of college realignment. Economist Steve Moore says Democrats are putting the country in grave anger by authorizing another $4.5 trillion in spending. The Killer Flees lose another round in their attempt to stop the Texas voter integrity law, and a teacher essentially tells the Loudoun County, Virginia school board to take Critical Race Theory and shove it.
The Biden administration is systematically dismantling America. But what is his biggest disaster? Is the border? Critical Race Theory? Raging inflation? Can the country withstand Biden until we can toss the Democrats out in the midterms and then either rehire Trump or a Ron DeSantis or Greg Abbott? Lynn is joined by the panel: Texas Insider Jim Cardle and Austin radio personality John Zenor.
We’ll start off with our talk with Drayton McLane, a former chairman of the Baylor Board of Regents and his thoughts on the fate of the Big 12 now that Texas and Oklahoma are headed to the SEC. Economist Steve Moore talks about the Biden bankruptcy – of the country, that is! PJ Media’s Bryan Preston on the disastrous term of Austin Mayor Steve Adler, and a sound bite of former OU coach Barry Switzer on how things may be in the expanded SEC! After this.
Here's the best analysis you'll find about the move of Texas and OU to the SEC. Former Astros owner and namesake of Baylor's football stadium Drayton McLane weighs in from the Baylor point of view and State Senator Lois Kolkhorst has some stinging words for UT President Jay Hartzell. Today's panel: Lynn Woolley, Jim Cardle, John Zenor and Talk 1370's Kasey Johns.
We begin with Joe Biden’s multi-trillion dollar inflationary spending spree and how he wants to sneak amnesty for millions of illegal aliens into it. And Kevin Roberts of the Texas Public Policy Foundation talks about the January 6th Commission and the hypocrisy of putting BLM members on the witness stand. Also, why the SEC wants Texas and Oklahoma and why Beto O’Rourke lies about so-called voter suppression.
College football is in a tizzy because the University of Texas and The University of Oklahoma may be about to jump to the S-E-C. That would form the nation’s first 16-team super conference, but would leave 8 members of the Big 12 behind. And Texas A&M is NOT happy about it. In Washington, Joe Biden’s border crisis is front and center with Republicans while Democrats consider another COVID lockdown.
Democrats in Washington and in Austin had a particularly revealing week as Joe Biden was back on his Jim Crow 2 point 0 allegations, which make no sense, and Texas Dems filibustered the Texas integrity law by leaving the state. This is all about Democrats wanting to essentially abolish the states and federalize elections. They’d be, of course, in full control of our lives forever if they succeed. So thanks to God and Texas Republicans that we conservatives are up for the struggle.
Lynn Woolley is the Secretary of Logic, the titular head of America's Department of Logic. Here's what's on his mind. (Ten episodes of his radio feature "Random Samplings of a Logical Mind." Remember, anything is fair game...
Jim’s on vacation this week and I’m joined by guest hosts Bryan Preston and Lou Ann Anderson. Subject matter: why Joe Biden actually hates Kamala Harris; Harris goes to the border without going to the border; Travis County DA Jose Garza embroiled in scandal; is Ron DeSantis actually Trump without the tweeting; why Biden is so fixated on vaccinations, a Texas Walmart spontaneously breaks into song to celebrate America; and a new poll says 55 Percent of likely voters don’t believe the 2020 election results.
What's on Lynn Woolley's mind? Pretty much everything from Biden to rock & roll. Check it out with these 10 episodes of Lynn's radio feature "Random Samplings of a Logical Mind."
More Biden insanity this week as Donald Trump and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott head for the border with all the media – well, some of it – forced to cover the Biden-Harris immigration crisis. We’ll talk to Texas State Senator Paul Bettencourt, who was there, and the CEO of the Texas Public Policy Foundation, Kevin Roberts. Economist Steve Moore drops in to discuss Bidenomics and why the Feds are still paying people not to work.
We’ll talk to Congressman Pete Sessions about big city chaos brought on by elected officials as well as the expensive infrastructure bill and the Democrats’ weaponization of January 6th. Also Dave Ray of FAIR – the Federation for American Immigration Reform who’s down on the border while Kamala is in El Paso schmoozing with Biden supporters. Also, why Janet Yellen and M. Ray Perryman are clueless about the causes of inflation, and when should a riot be stopped?
Forget the Alamo? Not on this podcast! Lynn and Jim are joined by “Mr. Alamo,” Bryan Preston of PJ Media who refutes the new book that claims the Texians were cowards and were just trying to protect slavery. And State Sen. Dawn Buckingham visits with us about the never-ending homeless problem in Austin and other Texas cities.
This was the week that Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced that Texas will build its own border wall. Also along the border, Republicans are winning elections as Hispanics flock to the G.O.P. And wait until you hear the amazing speech from the new, black Lt. Gov. of North Carolina, Mark Robinson.
Lynn & Jim interview nationally known economist Steve Moore about Bidenomics and the national workers shortage. The Texas Legislature to meet to pass an election integrity law so that Democrats can't cheat by changing all the rules. Lynn talks about Biden's apparent use of Cloward-Piven Theory to change the United States into a socialist state. (If you wanted to destroy the United States, what would you do differently from Biden?) Also, Biden's dumb-ass energy policy and same sex kissing in public.
Liberals have a lot not to like as the Texas Legislature winds down. Gov. Abbott will sign constitutional carry – but as Kevin Roberts tells us, we did not get election integrity reform. The Hispanic Republicans of Texas got de-platformed. And in Fort Worth, parents are mad as hell at Superintended Kent Scribner who is all-in on Critical Race Theory.
Here's another helping of Lynn's radio feature Random Samplings of a Logical Mind, where we ramble and ruminate about whatever strikes our fancy.
Today we’re analyzing the Texas Legislature’s bill that would create a statewide camping ban for homeless people and hopefully make downtown areas safe for walking again. Also, we’ll discuss Critical Race Theory and how it permeates American society today and whether it will be banned in Texas schools. If there is such a law passed, how will it be enforced? Also, Chicago’s racist mayor, Lori Lightfoot, refuses to grant interviews to white reporters, and the Democrats’ continuing obsession with the January 6th Capitol Breach.
Random Samplings of a Logical Mind episodes 4-10. Today's vital issues in three one-minute segments per episode. And all totally logical.
On the plate today, a talk with Congressman Pete Sessions about the various Biden disasters and about 120 retired generals and admirals who dashed off a letter about that very thing. In yet another sound bite, Biden seems to be forbidden – by someone – from answering questions about anything. Then there’s Biden’s diplomacy with Iran, which is likely funding Hamas as it attacks Israel. And, of course, Biden’s continuing Border disaster.
Lynn and Jim discuss Joe Biden’s snoozer speech and his massive spending spree. Biden will bring new taxes, manufacturing will leave the country again, and Biden spoke empty words about curing cancer. He left no money on the table to cure cancer. Biden talked about immigration, but not the border crisis. Also, Ted Cruz sends a message to Woke-a-Cola, Senator Tim Scott is smeared by Democrats, John Kerry blabs to Iran, Rudy gets a visit from the Feds but Hunter Biden doesn’t.
Lynn is joined by the Talk 1370 panel to talk about Biden's unconscionable spending spree and what it means for the country and our future. Also can the Democrats get their radical agenda completed in time to stay in power? Or is the Democrat party on its last legs? John Zenor (Austin radio personality) and Jim Cardle (The Texas Insider) join Lynn Woolley on today's episode.
Will the Democrats achieve DC statehood and Supreme Court packing? What about Critical Race Theory in our schools? Is there an “undo” button for this? We asked Kevin Roberts of the Texas Public Policy Foundation. Also, is 78-year-old Joe Biden the best the Democrats have to offer? If so, does the Party have a future? Breaking news at CNN: Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon discuss a police shooting logically. And Maxine Waters on the Derek Chauvin verdict.
On today’s show, Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy asks an academic some really embarrassing questions about the idea of forgiving student loans. We learn that “systemic racism” is essentially “freedom.” The question of the day: What’s worse? The pandemic or the continuing race riots? Facebook blocks criticism of a BLM founder and Twitter suspends Project Veritas for exposing CNN as a fraud. Also, packing the Supreme Court and Baylor and the Hood.
Here’s what’s on today’s show as Lynn and Jim are joined by Kevin Roberts of the Texas Public Policy Foundation. Joe Biden says the Constitution is no longer functional and gun violence is a healthcare crisis. Is Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson a coward…or a RINO? Did a cop actually murder George Floyd? We’ll explain why not.
Major League Baseball moves the All-Star Game out of Atlanta due to left-wing pressure. Beto & Castro apply pressure to Texas companies. Biden spends the country silly, but does the National Debt even matter anymore? The Logic Panel convenes with Lynn welcoming Jim Cardle (the Texas Insider) and Austin radio personality John Zenor.
The craziness keeps on coming from the Biden administration. Nationally known economist Steve Moore joins us to talk about that -- such things as the "Infrastructure Bill" that is a tax-and-spend bill in disguise. Former ICE Acting Dir. Tom Homan has been down on the border and joins us from McAllen. Biden lies big-time about the Georgia voting integrity bill and the left-wing WaPo gives him 4 Pinocchios. Also, Gov. Greg Abbott's presser about Biden's border insanity.
On today’s Jim and Lynn discuss the bizarre and creepy Biden news conference during which American journalism may have died for all time. The city of Austin is “re imagining” the Police in the light of diversity, equity and inclusion as envisioned by Harvard-educated city manger Spencer Cronk – a true woke supremacist. We’ll cover Biden’s answers about the filibuster and we’ll visit with Kevin Roberts of the Texas Public Policy Foundation.
Jim and Lynn welcome Kevin Roberts (Texas Public Policy Foundation) to discuss ERCOT, the Texas Association of School Boards, and taxpayer-funded lobbyists. Scott Braddock (Quorum Report) joins us to talk abut the pricing of electricity. State Sen. Dawn Buckingham drops in to discuss defunding the police and the profits of panhandling.
Lynn welcomes radio partner Jim Cardle to discuss the current state of politics and talk radio without Trump in office and with the GOAT of talk radio, Rush Limbaugh, gone from the scene. Can CNN survive without Trump, and can a host be found with Rush's optimism and ability to read between the lines?
Jim and Lynn welcome Kevin Roberts of the Texas Public Policy Foundation. Historian John C. Perry explains the origin of "The Eyes of Texas." Also, where are the new American leaders? And the final days in office for NY Gov. Cuomo?
Jim and Lynn discuss the porked-up COVID-19 "Relief Bill" with noted economist Steve Moore and Tom Schatz of Citizens Against Government Waste. Also, a conversation with Texas Congressman Pete Sessions about The many lunacies of the Biden administration so far.
"Dead Man Running" is the title of a book by Rob Curnock who dared to run as a Republican against a highly favored and entrenched Democratic incumbent named Chet Edwards. This is the story of what happens inside a campaign and how quickly it can turn nasty. Also, Mr. Curnock's thoughts on Biden, Trump and the State of the Union.
Jim & Lynn dig deep to find out why Texas suffered intense electric outages during the winter blast. The Left says it was the fault of Natural Gas, but guest Chuck DeVore of the Texas Public Policy Foundation disagrees. Also, Sid Miller, the Texas Agriculture Commissioner talks about thousands of gallons of wasted milk -- and who's to blame. Will heads roll in Texas? And which ones?
Jim & Lynn interview Houston Congressman Kevin Brady about tax reform. Also Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer calls for violence against two Supreme Court Justices, Eric Swalwell and Fang Fang, and Sen. John Kennedy (the one from Louisiana) grills left-winger Nora Tanden until she turns red.

Greg Abbott soothes fears about in the migration from California to Texas, and explains how he intends to stop Austin and other liberal Texas cities from defunding the police.
It's the final "Cardle & Woolley" of the year as Jim and Lynn discuss the latest on coronavirus, government-mandated lockdowns, Austin craziness, the Georgia runoff and the latest on Hunter Biden
Lynn talks to longtime radio host David Hodges about the election of 2020, President Trump, and what the outlook is for conservatism in 2021. Also, a look back at David's radio career.
Have we found the smoking gun in Georgia that will prove the Trump campaign's charges of massive voter fraud? Also, Lynn & Jim discuss the prospects of electing conservatives to the all-left-wing Austin City Council; and sound bites of Biden's new team saying nasty things about him in recent months; and Tucker slams Austin Mayor Steve Alder -- for good reason.
Like other liberal cities, Austin has slapped restrictions on meetings and gatherings. Trump loses a court battle in Pennsylvania. Chief Justice John Roberts is unmasked as a liberal on the Supreme Court. Obama is on his book tour saying it's a myth that white males are now mistreated.
Trump isn't conceding anything. Biden is busy trying to appease both the regular liberals and the extremists in his party while claiming the mantle of president-elect. He's also working to speak in complete sentences -- without much luck
Tough day for conservatives and a worse day for all Americans. Joe Biden is the President-elect and we now have a senile, doddering old man about to take charge. His running mate, Kamala Harris, is the most left-leaning member of the U.S. Senate. What were we thinking? And what comes next? How soon can we name a special prosecutor?
Has an election ever been this important? We're down to the last day of campaigning and Joe Biden has issues ranging from the Burisma Scandal to his threats to end the Oil & Gas industry. It could all boil down to Pennsylvania! Lou Ann Anderson (Political Pursuits) and I dissect the issues and the state of the campaign. Also, the "trolling" of Biden's bus in Texas, a shocking endorsement from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and the prospect of violence on election night,
Are the polls right or does Trump have a chance? We take a look at the states and how the President gets to 270. Also, the latest on the Hunter Biden scandal that the MSM will not cover, and the Austin City Council's demands that the de-funded police protect Antifa and BLM from white supremacists on Election Day. We're joined by Congressman Michael McCaul and Travis County Commissioner Gerald Daugherty.
Lynn joins Jim Cardle to dissect the Nashville debate and Joe Biden's promise to destroy the oil industry. We're joined by Steve Moore of the heritage Foundation. Also the latest on Amy Coney Barrett, Pope Francis, the Eyes of Texas debacle at UT/Austin and the death of music legend Jerry Jeff Walker
We're in the final days of campaigning and the MSM continues to ignore the breaking Hunter Biden scandal. The tale of two Town Halls: on NBC, Savannah Guthrie hits Trump with Q'Anon (a non-issue) and his taxes while on ABC, George Stephanopoulos tosses softballs to Unca Joe without any mention of Hunter Biden. Also, polling data, the Amy Coney Barrett aftermath, and Texas State hires Beto O'Rourke to "teach" Texas politics.
With the election just days away, will the emerging Hunter Biden scandal make a difference? Lynn joins Lou Ann Anderson to discuss that and egregious news suppression by tech monopolies Facebook and Twitter. Also, Kamala Harris as the real candidate, the Democrats making utter fools of themselves over Amy Coney Barrett, and does Trump really have a chance to win?
Jim's in the studio; Lynn's in Charlottesville, Virginia standing at the tomb of Thomas Jefferson as we discuss President Trump's coronavirus, Mike Pence's resounding victory over Kamala Harris in the Veep debate, and the ascension of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court. Jim and Lynn are joined by political commentator Larry Ward.
Jim and Lynn discuss the political fallout of President Trump's announcement that he and Melania have contracted the Wuhan Flu. How will this affect the confirmation process of Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court -- if at all. And how did Joe Biden get out of answering the question about packing the Supreme Court?
A terrible hatred of America is playing out in riots in our major cities as Antifa and Black Lives Matter burn, pillage, destroy, loot, and even attack the police. Where does this hatred come from? That's easy. Our schools and colleges. But can America survive it? Also, the Associated Press (AP) seems to stepping up its attacks on President Trump. Is it time to protest in front of newspapers that carry the AP?
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has died. Republicans in the Senate are braced to replace her with a conservative. How crazy will Democrats get? Join Lynn Woolley and Jim Cardle on the Texas Insider Show from Austin.
President Trump has nominated Judge Amy Coney Barrett to replace the ultra-liberal Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Democrats are furious. Will they use an unconstitutional religious test against Barret? Will they riot in the streets?
Donald Trump has restored American to greatness and he can do it again. He is unlike any other modern president in his uncanny ability to talk straight and gets things done. Joe Biden would be just another creepy politician and we would sink into mediocrity as we were under Obama. Enjoy Trump while you can because we may never see another like him. Also, berating Amy Coney Barrett; and the latest revelations on Russian Collusion.
Now that Ruth Bader Ginsburg is dead, the fight over her replacement will extend to our cities as well as the halls of the U.S. Senate. The violent Left will have its say, but Trump will not be deterred. If he names Amy Coney Barrett or some other conservative, the ensuring riots will be devastating. Trump will be prepared for that as well.
My new T-shirt says "Make Orwell Fiction Again." But "1984" has come true. CNN tells us that what we're seeing on our TV screens isn't happening. Biden says Trump is responsible for every coronavirus death in spite of what Gov. Cuomo did. We're told "diversity is strength" and "America was never great." Clock are striking thirteen. Also: What Fauci and other "experts" and bigwig politicians like Bill de Blaiso and Nancy Pelosi said before the pandemic started to spread. (Note that Bob Woodward's new book is a fraud.) And growing concerns about rampant liberalism in the Fort Worth School District.
Woke insanity and violence is wearing thin on many Americans, and some are starting to fight back. The wokeness extends to county government where race baiting has infected the hiring of employees, and to comic books where DC Comics is about to glorify left-wing darlings like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rashida Talib. Also, columnist Marc Thiessen writes about a major swing in polling causing the Democrats to blame social justice violence on (you guessed it) Donald Trump.
Can it get crazier in Austin? Gov. Greg Abbott is threatening a state takeover of the Austin police due to de-funding by the City Council. Mayor Steve Adler may lose his security detail. Also, trump and the polls, Joe Biden calls conservatives "deplorable" and the Left comes up with anew, unsourced scandal to use against President Trump.
It's no longer Trump versus Biden. The vote on November 3 will likely be a referendum on the mob violence in our major cities. So it's Trump vs BLM and Antifa terrorists. Also, a look inside the mob as Sen. Rand Paul and his wife Kelley are ambushed by BLM haters following the GOP convention; and the Associated Press (AP), once a respected source of news and information, has become a hateful spreader of fake news.
Jim Cardle and Lynn Woolley talk about the GOP convention and the murderous gang of terrorists that attacked Senator Rand Paul and his wife Kelley as they made their way back to the hotel. Also the left-wing media's outright denial that cities like Portland are in the midst of violence, with CNN and the Associated Press among the worst of these Fake News purveyors.
Just how bad was the Democratic National Convention? On this episode of the Texas Insider Show, we explore the Dems' epic failure and the thought that Trump will not make the same mistakes they did. Also, the new Post Office scandal, continuing violence in Portland, and the latest numbers from the presidential polls.
Democrats have crafted a new conspiracy to use against Donald Trump. They say he is destroying the Post Office so that Biden/Harris cannot win the election. Suddenly, the USPS is more important to fund than the people hurting from COVID-19. Also, Lynn's new book "The Clock Tower and Other Stories" and what would America be like under President Kamala Harris?
Austin Mayor Steve Adler has displaced New York's Bill De Blasio has the nation's worst mayor. Austin has begun de-funding the police and Adler claims this will make Austin safer. On this show, we discuss Adler, loony councilman Gregorio Casar (who pushed this measure), and continuing BLM violence. We also talk with State representative Phil King of Weatherford about protests in his town and about Kamala Harris as Biden's running mate.
It's the Texas Insider Radio Show with Jim and Lynn where Austin Mayor Steve Adler is ready and willing to defund the police, pay reparations for slavery, and seems to think Austin's public transportation system is racist in nature. Also, we discuss violence in Portland, Gropey Joe's race-and-sex based Veep choice and moving the NRA to Texas where it belongs.
Lynn Woolley joins host Jim Cardle to discuss the latest Black Lives Matter violence including a deadly shooting in Austin, continued anarchy in Portland and other manor urban areas, and the new mini-movement to rename Texas cities such as Austin and Houston. Also, Jim has a special interview with Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick.
Lynn joins Jim Cardle on KJCE (Talk 1370) Austin to talk about the trashing of Portland and the politics of race rioting. Lynn and Jim are joined by Dale Craymer of the Texas Taxpayers Association to discuss the state of budgets in Texas due to coronavirus
Is the Durham investigation of the Russian Collusion hoax nothing but a bunch of bull? Lynn takes a road trip to the home of WBDaily.com writer and commentator Ben Barrack to discuss why he thinks Durham is just hope-ium. Woolley & Barrack also dissect the political implications of the current racial unrest, and Joe Biden's potential running mate.
Lynn Woolley joins host Jim Cardle and special guest Scott Braddock of the Quorum Report for a discussion of Texas and national events in the era of COVID-19.
The Associated Press and CNN can spew venom against President Trump, but they don't want to talk to you about it. When it comes to calling them, they play hard to get. Also, in the upcoming election, the choice is between the country, or the mob as we explore a column from WBDaily.com.
In a divided America, conservatives should not have to deal with the absurdity of current liberal thought and the violence brought on by the Black Lives Matter movement. Here's a plan to congregate like-minded traditionalists in Texas and a few other states so that we can govern the way we want while they tear their cities apart. Also, the Political Pursuits Panel weighs in; and Lynn asks if Black Lives Matter could be a force for good by taking on inner city crime.
Since when is is okay for a mob to destroy public artifacts and private property? On this episode, we speak out in defense of statues and memorials -- and certainly people's businesses and homes. Lynn's monologue is followed by the panel from Political Pursuits.
Greg Alfano was not afraid. As the Lady of Logic and I walked through a Black Lives Matter rally across the street from the White House, he was loudly proclaiming his support of America, the Stars and Stripes, and President Trump while BLM protesters were spewing hatred of these things. We talked to Greg about what took place on this day prior the the attempt to tear down the Andrew Jackson statue. Also, we've joined a new social media site called Parler (Par-lay) that does not censor conservatives. We'll be posting WBDaily columns and Planet Logic episodes there.
Black Lives Matter has turned Lafayette Park across from the White House into a ghetto. As Julie Sullivan and I strolled the area, we couldn't help but notice how the "peaceful protestors" have trashed the place and have made it look like a third world country. They've also trashed St. John's Church, posted hundreds of vulgar signs, and tried to topple the Andrew Jackson statue. Some of them have set up booths to monetize the protests.
After 8 weeks in a COVID-19 hospital in Brooklyn, Julie Sullivan looks back at what it was like to be on the front lines of a global pandemic -- and then find herself in the middle of the rioting and looting that broke out after the killing of George Floyd. Also, a twenty-something-hour trip across the South that included the Clinton Library in Little Rock, Beale Street and Sun Studios in Memphis, Music Row and a BLM protest in Nashville, the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and a a National Battlefield Park in Manassas, Virginia.
Here's our latest panel discussion -- a collaboration between Political Pursuits and Planet Logic. Lou Ann Anderson guides a brisk discussion of where America finds itself in the midst of a pandemic and race-based rioting in our cities -- and what this means for the re-election of Donald Trump.
In the wake of the "peaceful protests" we may be renaming our military bases and posts that are named after confederate historical figures. Planet Logic is suggesting "Fort Presley" as the new name for Fort Hood. We all can agree on Elvis. Also, the funeral of a black man whose life did not matter; the sad tale of Tony Timpa in Dallas; and a call to remove a school superintendent.
Rush tried to build a bridge. CNN continued hating Trump. Tucker Carlson preached a righteous sermon. June 1 was an amazing day in media from an attempt at understanding to the vilest hatred and the bluntest truth-telling. We've got the clips for you. Also, the Political Pursuits panel with a rowdy discussion about cops and mobs. Find a transcript of the first segment at WBDaily.com.
Ben Barrack joins Lynn for a deep dig into the Deep State. You'll learn things you never knew about Attorney General William Barr, Judge Emmet Sullivan, the Michael Flynn case and Flynn's Turkey connection, and why Obama could have been impeached on several charges -- but wasn't.
Julie Sullivan, a Texas RT now in New York, explains what it's like in a hospital jam-packed with COVID-19 patients. Also, the Democrat double standard as Dems "believe all women" except the one making sexual allegations against Joe Biden; and the infamous "Waitress Sandwich" is back as Joe Biden puts Chris Dodd (who was part of the sandwich along with a drunken Teddy Kennedy) on his vice presidential search committee.
As one side of the aisle screams "Close Everything" and the other yells "Open Everything," we analyze how America can be so divided over a virus. It's political, of course. Also, as CNN ignores the breaking news, the Michael Flynn case appears to be falling apart; and the Joe Biden sex scandal intensifies as Democrats say all women must be believed -- except for Tara Reade.
In Texas, the left-wing media reviles Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick as viciously as the national media attacks Trump. Patrick says it's worth the risk to re-open America, and a blog in the Austin American-Statesman mocked him for it. Also -- the Left is angry about a political cartoon that nailed CNN for its praise of communist China; and the glory days of left-wing universities may be coming to an abrupt halt.
Social distancing during COVID-19 opens the door to a great opportunity for Democrats to kick Trump out of office. Mail-In voting is a scheme to expand the voter base to the uninformed, and manipulate them to vote for Democrats. Also -- what is the true origin of the Bat-Soup virus? Did it really start in the Wuhan Market? Why is the Associated Press backing China? Obama REALLY did NOT want Biden to run, but may be stuck with him now; and imagine COVID-19 if we were under Medicare For All.
Some people sequester in place while others head for the front lines. Julie Sullivan is on her way to New York to help COVID-19 patients breathe easier. Also -- the Associated Press continues to laud the same Democrats that packed the rescue bill with unrelated pork; how is it that we were so unprepared for a pandemic? Commentator Ben Barrack says it's time to reopen the economy; and the White House Press Corps hates a promising drug why? -- because President Trump thinks it might be helpful.
Democrats are signaling that they may use the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to oust President Trump. Meanwhile, the rescue bill was delayed by Pelosi so that Democrats could pack it with unrelated items supporting the arts in Washington, the Green New Deal, and diversity. Also -- a look at stupid regulations that have resulted in American deaths during the pandemic; and a musical Easter Egg at the end of the podcast.
Donald Trump has worked to end American dependence on China but few listened. How did we ever think it was OK to cede manufacturing of medicine and high tech to our greatest enemy? Also -- Schumer and McConnell are fighting over a left-wing wish list in the coronavirus rescue bill; and the City of McAllen wins the prize for withholding embarrassing information from taxpayers.
What did these senators know, and when did they know it? At least 5 U.S. senators dumped stock as the coronavirus was taking hold in America. If this is insider trading, they should go to jail. But members of Congress are special and they make their own rules. Planet Logic calls for the creation of an independent watchdog agency with teeth. Also -- the Left coddles China even though the communist government covered up the virus; and Michael James Lucas joins us to talk about his days at KNOW/Austin, KXOL/Fort Worth, KRZI/Waco and more.
It's fist-bump time in America. As coronavirus spreads, the world is in danger on two fronts: the virus -- and the panic. On the virus side, be afraid if China gets back to "normal" because the Communist government will lie and could start a second wave. The panic has led to empty store shelves and lost income. We'll talk to medical professional Julie Sullivan. Also -- the Biden gaffe machine rolls on and if coronavirus dooms Trump's reelection, the Swamp will be in charge.
Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer attacks two Supreme Court Justices by name. And that's just the latest in the Democratic Party's attacks on our political and economic system. They've gone radical and socialist and if one of them gets elected, we're in deep trouble. Also
a look back at Bernie Sanders' love for communism and Column #2 in a three-part series on Democrats and evil.
If Bernie Sanders is elected president, be afraid. Be very afraid. He would destroy the free enterprise system, leaving us with millions of immigrants flooding into the country, an unsustainable national debt, and no pharmaceutical companies to make vaccines to battle pandemics like coronavirus. Also, what Morgan Freeman told Mike Wallace about Black History Month.
Bernie Sanders identifies as a "democratic socialist." What does that mean? In fact what about the other "isms?" If Sanders is elected and gets his policies through would free health care and free college be worth anything? Also what are schools teaching about socialism? What is being taught in major universities? And -- is it possible that there is MORE Russian meddling in America than even CNN will admit?
As information trickles out about a fatal police shooting of an unarmed black man in Temple, Texas, citizens are clamoring to see dash-cam and body-cam videos. We're joined by Mayor Tim Davis (who says the body-cam may never be released) and then NAACP head Benny Walsh to discuss the videos, transparency and trust. Also, Virginia gun control fails; and Democrats plot to stop Bernie Sanders.
Why is Roger Stone going to prison while Andrew McCabe walks free? After all, both lied as Stone worked to get Trump elected and McCabe was caught up in Obama's efforts to elect Hillary. Also, a visit with Roscoe Harrison, one of the nation's pioneering black TV anchors; and Texans face 10 important referenda on Super Tuesday.
Democrats are not just a bunch of harmless politicians. They do nasty stuff to people they oppose and to the country. Also -- what you need to know about "The New Way Forward Act"; Ben Barrack says that Trump needs to fight back harder against the Swamp; and the QAnon conspiracy theory promoted by the left-wing hacks at Media Matters.
Nothing seems to be going right for Democrats. Trump has defeated them time and again, and now they have no strong candidate to run against him. Will they try impeachment again? Also, Lou Ann Anderson analyzes the Democratic candidates and Nancy Pelosi's "ripping" temper tantrum; Trump speaks out and rages at James Comey; and how illegal immigrants produce "fake" families.
It's hard to imagine a talk radio landscape without Rush Limbaugh. His announcement that he has advanced lung cancer is bad news for him, for all of us who love him, and for the country. The good news is that he's still with us and he will fight this terrible disease. Also, Democrats mess up the Iowa caucuses as they seem to do with anything they touch; Democrats seem to have lost the impeachment battle; and Trump's poll numbers are sky-high.
When governments attempt to hide information from the pubic, something is usually wrong. This is true in the case of the so-called whistleblower, and it's true in a community where a policeman has shot a man to death. Journalist and pastor Roscoe Harrison comments on the situation in Temple, Texas. Also, Trump draws the ire of the AP by calling Bernie Sanders a communist; Sanders' popularity is rising among the young; and John Stossel reveals which candidates are promising to take us deeper into debt.
AT&T has a CNN problem. The network is positioned as the anti-Trump channel and its hosts are boring. AT&T must repair the network's reputation, and revamp its unwatchable prime time. Also -- why are DC Comics TV series so vulgar? We may be getting witnesses in the Trump impeachment. Good! Bring 'em! Why John Bolton needed a hook for his book; and a conversation with radio and TV legend Max Tooker.
Could something good come from the impeachment of President Trump? Yes! IF Americans recognize how corrupt Washington really is -- and demand change. Also, we took our microphones to Austin on Thursday to talk with Jim Cardle, the Texas Insider, about the impeachment and efforts by the Democrats to take Texas; and the sudden and tragic death of NBA star Kobe Bryant.
Adam Schiff again shows his contempt for our system of justice by refusing to bring the so-called Whisleblower forward to face President Trump and the Republicans in the Senate. Also, commentator Ben Barrack says Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow was wrong to use Obama's "Fast & Furious" as an example of Executive Privilege; and President Trump becomes the first sitting president to actively take the side of precious not-yet-born children.
Americans are split over the issue of gender identity, but what does science say? And if sex change is impossible, why would we tell young people to proceed with a process they may later regret? Also, CNN is featuring debates between two liberal lawyers -- Alan Dershowitz who does not support impeachment, and Jeffrey Toobin whose network is totally behind it; and columnist Bill Kidd says Texas is no longer the "friendship" state since the governor doesn't want to take unlimited numbers of refugees.
Members of Congress say the dumbest things. Our best & brightest often embarrass us with the depth of what they don't know. Also -- The impeachment trial is here and Nancy Pelosi has already made herself look foolish; KPLE-TV general manager Joel Lytle discusses the sorry state of education in America and how Christianity is attacked around the world; in Temple, Texas STILL no information on a deadly police shooting; and Seth Borenstein has another climate charge story to scare you out of your wits.
President Trump seems to have outsmarted Iran and avoided war, but the Media is not pleased that he killed Qassem Soleimani and demands to know why. Also, Steve Bannon calls impeachment the "crime of the century." Which is best? The NFL or college football -- Reece Sullivan and Lynn hash it out; and Planned Parenthood suffers a big defeat in Texas.
Exclusive: With the public still being kept in the dark about the December 2nd police shooting death of 28-year old Michael Dean, the NAACP is turning to Gov. Greg Abbott for help. Also -- Trump outwits Iran and Democrats move to make sure he can't do it again; the Iranians probably shot down a jetliner with 63 Canadians on board so what will Prime Minister Justin Trudeau do?; Trump renames Hunter Biden; and Pelosi still stalling on Articles of Impeachment.
After Trump takes out Iranian terrorism mastermind Qassem Soleimani, Democrats and the Media panic that Iran might be mad at us. Also, the Temple Telegram responds regarding coverage of a police shooting; talk veteran Lou Ann Anderson on the Iranian threat, the police silence in Temple, and the stabbing in Austin; Methodists are becoming un-united; and Ricky Gervais tells off Hollywood elites.
A black man, shot dead by a non-black police officer, and after a month, still scant information released. Why is Temple, Texas so secretive? Also -- a major Iranian terrorist is taken out by US airstrikes raising questions about war; Dennis Prager takes the editor of Christianity Today to task regarding impeachment; Rep. Lloyd Doggett of Austin supporting Pelosi on withholding Articles of Impeachment; the arguably dumbest Democrat running for president, Julian Castro, has dropped out.
President Trump was impeached while I was in New York City and I read all about it in the pages of the left-wing New York Times. Also -- the editor of Christianity Today explains to CBS' Face the Nation why he wants Trump kicked out of office; police in Temple, Texas are still withholding information about a police shooting in which a young black man died; and the final segment of our long interview with Vic Feazell about when law enforcement and the media go bad.
Former FBI Director James Comey still lays claim to being a saint. He took his halo to FOX News Sunday and was defiant as Chris Wallace bombarded him with questions. Then, Adam Schiff claimed not to be fact witness. Also -- a young black man is dead in a Temple, Texas police shooting with scant details being released; and part 3 of our series with Vic Feazell on the Henry Lee Lucas case,
The IG Report turned out to be a turkey for both sides. CNN loved it, but the other investigator, John Durham, denigrated it. Also -- the Nadler hearings continued with Republicans getting in some tough shots and Louie Gohmert suggesting that if Biden is elected, he will be impeached; Lynn performs an original Christmas song for you; and Part Two of our series with Vic Feazell on Waco radio and Henry Lee Lucas.
Inspector general Michael Horowitz may face the Wrath of Trump if leaks about his report are true -- that there was no witch hunt. Also, the Sunday Shows revealed that the Dems have no intention of allowing Republican witnesses in the hearings; and Former Waco DA Vic Feazell interviews Lynn on the occasion of the Netflix release of a documentary about Henry Lee Lucas, "The Confession Killer."
Three "brilliant" academics testified before the Nadler Committee and proved themselves to be idiots -- left-wing, partisan hacks. Professors such as these are prime examples of what's wrong on college campuses. Also -- Dems are "all in" on impeachment -- and they have been since Trump was elected; a Waco JP is in hot water for refusing to perform gay marriages; gun purchases are way up (due to the Dems' anti-gun rhetoric); and Chick-fil-A comes under heavy criticism.
Who needs Russia when we have the Democrats to meddle in both the 2016 and 2020 elections. The hearings are back, and law prof Jonathan Turley is warning Nadler's committee to stop the impeachment madness. Also -- a conversation with Marsha Haney about our 22 years working with sick kids and big stars on the Children's Miracle Network.
The science on global warming is settled, writes TIME Magazine. "There isn't another side." Oh but there is.
