The climate we are living in is nothing new. In the times of Jesus there was high political pressure.
Tons of people groups hating on others.
If we don’t learn from history we are bound to repeat it.
Hate and division isn't anything new.
It seems like every group today has an enemy and our responses to what they do are many times emotional and strict. Nothing good can come from them. We are against what they do, what they say and what they want.
In biblical times, that mindset pretty much summed up the relationship between Jews and Samaritans. The tension between these groups is so pervasive in both Testaments that we should ask: How did Jesus respond to the division?
