I was expecting for him to bail after 5 minutes, and he graciously chatted with me about music for an hour. This was one of my very favorite things I've ever gotten to do since I got my start in radio. Thank you, Robert.

He tells a great story about Rocky George from Suicidal Tendencies reading jazz charts and playing Wes Montgomery music in a smoking jacket after rocking hardcore shows. he also talks about how the Jaco Pastorius documentary has brought him close to Jazz greats that have professed their love for Metallica.
Robert Talks about the fact that he's worked with lots of artists during the darkest part of their lives. He opens up about working with Zakk Wylde, Jerry Cantrell, Ozzy, and of course Metallica. He plays it down, but it turns out he's been an incredible source of positive energy as well as a great musician. He talks about how he deals with people and solves problems. he also tells a great story about Jerry Cantrell coming to his home to stay sober and flooding his bathroom.
We wrap up.
