She is deeply passionate about the body-mind practice and somatic experiencing, and works to nurture that connection for people via movement in her signature method and class Unstructured, which she offers in person and online.Anna’s movement journey led her to pole dancing, to which she took an unconventional approach and viewed the pole as a simple prop to enhance her prior dance background. By ridding the aerial apparatus of any cultural preconceptions, she applied her own symbolism and intentions to the pole, which in turn created a deeply personal connection to her movement expression. She fine-tuned this exploration with developmental prompts and motifs meant to encourage, rediscover and explore ways to move as a dancer, while also deepening the connection to her authentic self. A transracial and transnational Indonesian adoptee who spent her early life in Sweden, Anna was intrigued by identity and what makes us who we are. Her desire to bridge the gap between her inner and outer self has carried a personal significance throughout her life, and found early on that dance was a valuable tool in this connection. She became intuitive to her inner landscape and imagination at a young age, and when expressed by the art of dance she also found the power to transform not just as an artist but as an individual. To Anna, dance goes beyond artistry and serves as the bridge to her inner voice, healing powers, and spiritual self.In addition to her Unstructured work, Anna offers guided movement and creative arts services as a healing modality to the adult adoptee community (age 18+).

Here is our February 2020 Movement Energy Reading!
These readings offer monthly support for the movers that FYF connects with; in the form of advice, practical suggestions, and intuitive commentary on movement-focused energies that I intuitively felt coming up for the current month. As always with any reading this is simply offered up to catalyze your OWN process of contemplation, confirmation, and self-direction... so take what resonates and let the rest REST!
THIS MONTH: - ENGAGE WITH YOUR ANNOYANCE/IRRITATION - CREATE MANAGEABLE CONSISTENCY - INVENT NEW SPACE FOR REST
There is space in three deep-dive workshops on TRAUMA, INTUITION, and BREAKING PATTERNS coming up in LA at the end of February, beginning of March, check 'em out: http://findingyourfreestyle.square.site
If you are interested in working with me, I teach locally in NY... and also host immersive events like retreats. Our recently launch FYF Immersion (Uncovering What’s Next) in San Diego 2020 is totally SOLD OUT, but there's a waitlist just in case. COMING UP NEXT is a Fall Movement Immersion in the gorgeous Hudson Valley.

Thank you for tuning in to our ninth episode of our series: The Freestyle Approach Podcast, from Finding Your Freestyle® with Tracee Kafer.
In this episode we sit down with Dalijah Franklin, found of Black Girls Pole.
BLACK GIRLS POLE Black Girls Pole is an organization striving to diversify the pole community by inspiring, empowering, and educating women of color about pole dancing. BGP is a movement to both celebrate and introduce new faces to the transformative power of pole. BGP aims to provide a platform for women of color to embrace their bodies, challenge their body, mind and spirit and express their own unique individuality.
ABOUT DALIJAH, THE FOUNDER Dalijah Franklin is a dancer, performer and obsessive life giver She loves to inspire and help women of color dream big and reach their goals. She has been a dancer and mover her entire life. An Ohio native, She is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Nutrition and from Tri-State College of Acupuncture with a Masters of Science in Acupuncture. Dalijah has been pole dancing for over 10 years and teaching Pole all over the world. She is an instructor at the world renowned Body & Pole in New York City, the 2013 Level 3 champion of the Atlantic Pole Championships, the 2015 U.S Aerial Championship winner, 2015 top scoring female of Pole Theatre USA and 2019 Pole Sport Organization Dramatic Champion.
Dalijah found the need to start Black Girls Pole because she felt there was not enough representation of Women of color in the Pole community. As a pole instructor, she wanted to empower more women to start pole dancing, and have a platform that would help to change the stigma around what it means to be both a pole dancer and a woman of color.
Dalijah founded BGP in March of 2014. Since then, BGP has gone on to host events and retreats around the world, from NYC to London and built a community of over 40,000 followers of all colors, shapes and sizes.
Dalijah lives in Harlem NYC with her pupper Wesley the Yorkie Poo. Follow Dalijah on IG: @dalijahamelia

This episode is a somatic deep dive. Join myself and Laure, as we discuss her work with Family Constallations, "holding space", healing, body-centered awareness, and so much more!
MORE ABOUT LAURE PORCHÉ I AM A HEALER AND CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY PRACTITIONER, ARTIST AND DREAMER WHOSE PASSION IS ASSISTING OTHERS ON THEIR PATH TO A DEEPER AND FULLER LIFE.
I love the creativity of this work, as every person is different and I make a point of adapting to what is the best possible path for each client. Fascinated by the many ways in which body, mind and emotions can be harmonized, I am also interested in how the different fields of consciousness (ancestral, collective, etc.) interact with each other and influence our choices and our inner states.
I accompany others in their healing and evolution process, like a gardener creating the right environement for plants to grow. I love helping to uncover the treasures of resilience that every person has, whether in their body or their souls.
I am based in Paris, La Rochelle and Poitiers (France). I occasionally work in London and attend to clients from other countries via Skype. I studied Systemic Craniosacral Unwindings and Polarity Therapy with Gary Strauss, Constellation facilitation with Francesca Mason Boring and Bertold Ulsamer, Shamanic Healing with Betsy Bergstrom, Sound Healing with Gabrielle Laden and Reiki with Lindsey Harrington.
Thank you for tuning in to our eighth episode of our series: The Freestyle Approach Podcast, from Finding Your Freestyle® with Tracee Kafer.
I love this episode! Covering everything from starting out as an entrepreneur, to alignment, permission, joy, self-judgement and exploration - Levy Sol of Sparkles of Sol (an Etsy jewelry maker) and Tracee share a playful dialogue about freestyle, and how it manifests both in dance, business, and in life.
MORE ABOUT LEVY SOL - OWNER OF SPARKLES OF SOL The pillars of Finding Your Freestyle have helped me mentally, spiritually, and emotionally throughout the hurdles and successes in my life, some of which include living abroad, surviving earthquakes, divorce, marriage, and moving back home. I channeled the alchemy of movement from the pole studio into other facets of my life, such as exploring art, becoming reiki attuned, and starting my own healing stone jewelry business (SparklesofSol.etsy.com). It is because of FYF, I dared to experiment, dream, make mistakes, and laugh at them. And now I've come full circle - endlessly giving and receiving love to a movement that has inspired my continuous growth and expansion.
Thank you for tuning in to our 7th episode of The Freestyle Approach Podcast, from Finding Your Freestyle® with Tracee Kafer.
In this episode I go solo again, talking about how the different voices with which we listen, WITHIN, can contradict - and ultimately - sabotage creativity.
Thank you for tuning in to our sixth episode of The Freestyle Approach Podcast, from Finding Your Freestyle® with Tracee Kafer.
In this episode I go solo again, this time, to speak on my current grief. Please only listen if you feel drawn. Much love, T
Thank you for tuning in to our fifth episode of The Freestyle Approach Podcast, from Finding Your Freestyle® with Tracee Kafer.
In this episode I go solo, talking about my solo walk in a secluded forest - and how I'm dealing with the discomfort! What are you afraid of? How do you manage fear in favor of more inner, and outer freedom?
Thank you for tuning in to our fourth episode of our new series: The Freestyle Approach Podcast, from Finding Your Freestyle® with Tracee Kafer.
ABOUT ALISA SARIC - OWNER OF DREHMOMENT IN BERLIN (TRANSLATED FROM GERMAN) My career can be divided into a time before Pole and Pole. Actually, I always wanted to dance, but felt too old to start from scratch. Then Pole Dance came into my life, and suddenly I could work on everything and grow in everything that interested me: dance, acrobatics, strength training, flexibility, expression. Added to this was an unimaginably supportive community that kept me "on the pike", even though I had never been so enthusiastic about a sport before. Together with Johanna I took my first hour of tea in the spring of 2013. Our way led us quickly to England to Spin City Bristol, and to New York City to Body & Pole. To this day, I travel around the world for my passion for exercise to be regularly inspired by the best, and have already learned from over 30 internationally renowned pole athletes.
Since 2014, I teach my passion for pole, dance, sport and exercise as a trainer. I am an Xpert-certified pole dance trainer (Level 1-4), multiple elevatED certified (Level 1, Level 2, Flexibility), and I also train regularly in my personal hobby area Biomechanics (including certification as a Functional Range Conditioning mobility specialist). In 2016, I deepened my knowledge in coach trainings with Josh Taylor and Marlo Fisken (Floor Flow), and expanded my horizons at Finding Your Freestyle Intensive with Tracee Kafer and Anthro-pole-ogy Seminar with Marlo Fisken. I am firmly convinced that you should learn for life, which is why I always escape for intensive training and workshops to bring fresh wind into our studio.
My personal favorite aspects are flows, expression, free dance, sensual dance as well as functional, holistic movement concepts. The better you treat your body, the better you go through life and better dance at the pole.
My mission is to help our students re-establish their bond between mind and body and lure the Wonder Woman into each and every one of them. When movement and heart unite, you feel unimaginable freedom. This freedom and well-being should carry each of my students from training into everyday life.
