We've all heard of the neighborhood watch. We all want to live in a neighborhood that looks out for one another. What does Jesus have to say about how we are to treat our neighbor? Who is my neighbor?
As Christians in the United States, reading the Old Testament can be confusing, discouraging and simply demoralizing. However, we also know it is the inerrant, inspired Word of God to His creation. So today, we dive in to discover the beauty and the impact the Old Testament is meant to have on us as children of God.
What if there is more to marriage than simply a partnership? What if the reality of marriage is deeper than many of us even realize? If God ordains marriage, then it stands to reason that there is something truly amazing to be discovered in it, and we get the opportunity to go on the journey of that discovery.
Raising a family and making disciples are not mutually exclusive. In fact, raising a family is the primary means by which parents are ordained to raise up disciples. But this takes a lot of intentionality, and an understanding of God's blueprint for His creation. Discovering God's blueprint for the family is discovering life and life to the fullest for any family out there.
Jesus best modeled for us what it means to love. As we remember Christ's work on the cross for us this Holy Week, we come to the realization of our need for a savior to rescue us from our destiny: eternal separation. But when we are alive in Christ, we are a new creation and our destiny is now eternity with Him.
We've come full circle since the pandemic. Society is back to full throttle. How do we honor the Sabbath and keep it Holy as we live in this once again fact-paced environment?

Social Justice is a big topic in our culture today. So the question for every believer is this: how do WE navigate this conversation and cause? Thankfully, our model is Christ and so He is who we turn to. He met the needs of the broken and the needy. He fed the poor. He spoke out against injustice. He demonstrated mercy and compassion…always.
But what was His end game? Faith and Righteousness
So in today’s episode, we lay out framework for how Christians ought to navigate the social justice conversation. Because our end game is eternal. Our end game is freedom on Christ.
Well hey there. Thanks for joining us for today’s Charitable Discourse. Unity is an extremely popular word in our culture today. In the midst of so much division in our political and cultural discourse, everyone is calling for unity. Unity without compromise. So what is it we are called to unify around? Paul talks about unity quite a bit in Scripture. Scripture reminds us that we are not citizens of this life, but the bride of Christ…called to bring light to the redemption that comes from Him. So in today’s episode, we take a look at what believers are called to unify around and when we are called to stand firm in the faith.

In this episode of The Weekly Grind, Mark Pitman from the CPC Women's Health Resource joins the podcast to share a little bit about what the CPC is doing here in Northwest Ohio to promote life and health to those faced with difficult circumstances.
The CPC Women’s Health Resource centers were first organized in January of 1986, when a small nucleus of concerned Northwest Ohio people came together in an attempt to meet the needs of women/couples who were in unplanned pregnancy and were looking for some support and assistance. The organizers began with a phone hotline and took calls from women who needed pregnancy testing. In July of 1986, the first center was opened in Bryan with Mindy Schaffner, who was then the Williams County Health Commissioner, as the acting director.
It is funded completely by individuals, churches, organizations, and businesses. We receive no government funding for the ministry portion of our programs.
