Medgar, Malcolm, and Martin
Medgar was murdered in the summer of 1963 Malcolm was murdered in 1965.
There was unutterable pride, tension, and anguish in that girl's face as she approached the halls of learning, with history, jeering, at her back.

But the real question is what is going to happen to this country.
It comes as a great shock around the age of five, or six, or seven to discover that Gary Cooper killing off the Indians when you were rooting for Gary Cooper, that the Indians were you.
It comes as a great shock to discover the country which is your birthplace and to which you owe your life and your identity has not in its whole system of reality revolved any place for you.
---but the real question is what is going to happen to this country.
