Hey everybody welcome to the Fine Line Podcast, I’m Alex, and I love to make movies. Hello, I’m Joseph, and I’m a comic book nerd and I love movies as well. We both are Christians and we love to watch and enjoy movies and the various forms of entertainment that our culture provides but sometimes we find that it can be difficult to find that bridge between loving Jesus and still loving things in our culture. We both know that there is a line but sometimes it can be a lot more harder to find.
Another excellent episode of the The Fine Line Podcast! This week we are talking about our thoughts on Logan the newest and last movie starring Wolverine, played by the amazing Hugh Jackman. Marvel really knows how to make an amazing action movie and Logan, the last time we get to see wolverine (until they reboot the x-men in 10 years).
This week we talk about blessings, and how to get more of them using brain science and how to tap into the heart of God and change yourself to accept more blessings.
In this week’s episode Cletus and Cephus discuss the pros and cons of the flick Passengers starring Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt. In our weekly catch up, Cephus has returned to his schooling at university and Cletus joins a maker’s guild in Nashville. In our conspiracy moment, Cletus airs his grievance against the movie critics who panned the movie. And in our wrap up, we discuss the merits of living in a community and why as human beings we are not meant to be alone. The One about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
[Warned you are! SPOILERS, lie ahead, they do!] In this week’s episode, Cephus and Cletus channel their inner Jedi by spending their spare time sitting down and talking….about Star Wars: Rogue One! Tune in as Cletus uncovers the deep truth behind the mysterious two doors of the Star Wars universe and listen in as Cephus discusses who is the better heroine, Jyn or Rey. Some other topics we discuss is the great Han Solo performance of Cassian Andor, whether some characters worked (we’re looking at you Saw Gerrera and K-2SO) or didn’t, and if this movie stands up against the original Star Wars trilogy or succumb to the dark side of the notorious Prequels.
