PARRÄ’SIA is a new Reformed Baptist publishing house in Scotland started by Daniel Funke and John-William Noble, whose first major project includes a Kickstarter campaign to publish the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith. We had the chance to talk to these two pastors about the start of this new company, the Kickstarter campaign, the 1689, and the state of Reformed Baptist churches in Scotland.

This time, we're looking at Philippians 3:10-21. Pilgrim's Progress is perhaps one of the greatest works of writing known to man. In that work, John Bunyan provides an allegory for the Christian life of a pilgrim on a journey. That is, rightfully, how the Christian life should be viewed. We are pilgrims on a journey - we are passing through this life and are on our way to the next, knowing that this world is not our home. We, as Christians, are citizens of Heaven.
Philippians 3:1-10 is the text that we are looking at. Have you ever wondered how you can experience true joy and fulfillment in this life? Have you ever wanted to know how you can stand righteous before God? Well, this text provides the answer to these questions and many others like them.
In this text, we will find that there is no greater treasure than Jesus and no greater experience than knowing Him as Lord and being known by Him.
And now, it is time for something completely different! For this episode, we will be listening to the radio broadcasts I did for my church throughout the month of January, 2019. The only editing is that I've removed the beginning of each that included a greeting along with service times and directions. Each broadcast will play after the last with a very short pause in between. I hope you'll enjoy!
This time we're in Philippians 2:19-30, as we look at the Apostle Paul's desire to see the Philippians love one another in perfect unity through the Spirit of the Lord that they might perfectly rejoice in Christ. That is my same prayer for the church today, and I hope your prayer as well.
Join us as we continue our series: To Live is Christ, to Die is Gain.
