Acknowledging, naming and embracing their different ethnicities, cultures, histories and nationalities. Allowing them to act as individuals and speak for themselves. Acknowledging the trauma, oppression and marginalization they experience daily whether they are aware of it or not, to acknowledge the crooked room and practice standing straight inside of it.
