#FINALTHOUGHT of the NIGHT: Recent Episodes

Audacy

At the end of each show, I leave with a #FINALTHOUGHT of the night. These are intended to be uplifting thoughts or comments, but sometimes they can be sarcastic, or funny, or thoughts that could cause concern. Bottom line is they are to be entertaining and hopefully make you think on how the statement relates to you and how you may see it. Enjoy and as always- please let me know your thoughts!

This Easter was pretty tough. We had to say goodbye to our English Bulldog "Chunk". She was with us for 11 amazing years. Saying goobye hurts. It stings. A lot. The #FinalThought for tonight was a Dr. Seuss quote I have used before, and today it seemed more appropriate than before.

"Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened."

I miss you Chunk. We all do. Give big wet kisses to the family, and be careful because Gretzky has both eyes again and will be looking for you!

"Eery day is a new beginning, take a deep breath and start again."

We all worry. How can we not worry ourselves to death? It's not easy, but think about just preparing yourself rather than letting the worry occupy every minute of your day. I know. Easier said than done.

As I put the finishing touches on the podcast, I got a phone call from my daughter. It started off with "Dad, I'm OK...". The call we dread as parents. She had been in a car accident. I will tell you more about it tomorrow. She is OK. But this podcast says a lot for what happened to our family today. Enjoy.

The #FINALTHOUGHT of the night for tonight is "The things you take for granted, someone else is praying for."

This one made me think a lot. Hopefully it will make you think a little too and help someone out who needs it.
