Disability is a massive issue in our community, which needs to be tackled head on.. I merely wanted to focus on disability and people in our community. A bigger question connected to this how would it feel to be repeatedly shunned, treated in this way. What impact would it have on a persons confidence, self esteem, mental health to be perfectly normal and treated as if they are not normal
Sadly disabled people face discrimination and have to deal with it in so many different scenarios and situations. In this episode i challenge, debunk many of these assumptions and talk from my own experience how it feels to be judged as someone disabled
have waited a bit longer.
It sends a dangerous message to the public as we are nowhere near back to 'business as usual' but they want to encourage businesses n restaurants/cafe's to open as they understand the scheme will help the food, retail and hospitality industry will boost the economy.
Wait till next week queues will get bigger and will be hard to manage distancing. Some groups are notorious for turning up wherever they can can get a discount. BAME have highest cases of covid in london due to the dense population of asians living together. I do want things to get back to normal so I can go out, have dinners with friends like i used to, but not at the expense of public health&safety.
In conclusion for me, it was not in the public interest to start such a scheme right now.
Too much time on social media kills your time and creativity.
● You control the time you spend, don't let it control you. ● If you have to post something ask yourself.
1) is it necessary?.
2) What purpose does it serve.
3) If you have knowledge or something valuable, only use social media to share/post content that will help motivate or inspire others
For some people social media is an escape from their own insecurities, loneliness or low self esteem.
And so, they get their boost of dopamine by seeing how many likes/followers they have.
Conclusion
If you have pre existing issues or problems try to face them or get help, turning to social media won't make your problems go away and in some cases may exacerbate the issue.
● Change the I can't to I can, I will. ● I don't have the time, I will make time. ● I'm too old, there is still time. ● Its too difficult V I am determined to succeed ● I don't have the skills V I will learn the skills ● I am a failure V I will adopt the mindset of a Leader, if i lack motivation or skills. I will motivate myself to learn the necesssary skills to be an expert in my chosen field. ● I am not enough V I am good enough

1) If you are facing a challenge, write it in your journal - it can turn in to a source of strength and a reminder you've been there before
2) It declutters, clears your mind so you are able to think more clearly and logically.
3) Deconstruct, - analyse something that didn't go well, something that isn't working. Think about why it didnt go well, how you can improve, what you can learn. Reconstruct - if you find a strategy/method, something that works, study that too so you can recreate it for similar results.
4) Things that make you happy, smile. Something good that happened that happened during the day.
● A simple, small act of kindness. ● You saw something that made you smile. ● You spoke to an old friend, ● Saw something that made you laugh/smile. . ● Read or saw something that inspired you. ● A beautiful sunrise/sunset #journal #journaling #gratitude #gratitude365 #dailyroutine #dailygratitude #thanks #blessings #thanksgiving

We are still in lockdown, still isolating, some of us missing our family, friends, loved ones and partners. We cant enjoy our takeaway like we normally would or have a meal with friends or go for a night out.
At this time we need to be patient and be thankful for what we do have and this have given us opportunities to learn, grow, earn while at home and better ourselves.
Fasting during Ramadan also reminds us there is much virtue, sawab (reward) in having Sabr (Patience) and Shukar (Thanks) #patience #gratitude #thanks #Grateful #humble #gratitidelist #dailygratitude #lockdown #isolation
Some simple strategies i discuss in my videos of the past few days which help us to remain calm, present and thankful.
Daily gratitude, wake up every morning and try to find reasons to be happy, reasons to be optimistic, hopeful and positive. If you keep repeating it becomes a habit, your brain will naturally look for reasons to be happy and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.
We are facing many challenges, however during difficulty - when we are uncomfortable, we find our real strength. Once we come out of our comfort zone doing something different from the norm we really push ourselves we find the strength and resilience to keep going.
We also get creative, think of innovative ideas and solutions to the current problems we are facing. So keep yourself busy. Add Daily gratitude to your To-Do-List #growth #progress #busy #growthmindset #change #resilience #challenge #selfhelp #help #support #mentor #positive #routine #productive #calm
Daily gratitude keeps depression away. Many studies show that those who practice daily gratitude are: 1) Less likely to be sad or frustrated. 2) Less likely to suffer from depression. 3) More likely to be calm and happy.
Here's something you can all do; First thing when you wake up first thing in the morning; DON'T LOOK AT YOUR Phone. Try to think of 3 or 4 things you are grateful for, happy about. As you keep doing this, repetition becomes a habit, soon your brain will naturally look for reasons to be happy, grateful, optimistic and hopeful. Good luck with this exercise; everyone can do this, it takes a couple of minutes but will make a huge difference to your day. Since I have incorporated gratitude into my daily routine it has improved my overall happiness and well being, Add gratitude to your daily to-do-list.. This is really important loving yourself, being kind to yourself. We sometimes forget to be kind to ourselves. TASK. Try to switch off from the outside world; close your eyes for a few minutes. Think of two or three things that you love about yourself, the first time you do this it may seem hard, but the more you do it will become easier. The second segment is an extension of self love, self care.. incorporates care of mind, body and soul. In the third segment we delve into self respect and self confidence, seeing yourself as someone worthy of respect, deserve love, kindness. This also means honourable, dignified behavior. You cannot expect to be treated with respect if you dont respect others personal space and rights. Self confidence is having the conviction that you can achieve whatever it is you set yourself. Finally self control is all about breaking bad habits, cravings and also having the self belief/confidence that nothing is impossible long as you set your mind and heart into achieving your goal.
