In this episode of The VCC Debrief, we explore the theme of LEGACY - a prominent motif carried through from January's spotlight film, QUEEN & SLIM (Melina Matsoukas, 2019). James Baldwin's If Beale Street Could Talk, About Time (Richard Curtis, 2013) and Abuja Top Ladies (Tarila Thompson, 2006) were the culture items we used to unpick the meaning of Legacy and to no one's surprise, Abuja Top Ladies dominated the conversation.
