This podcast has been designed to primarily test the usefulness of this platform to create an app. It’s a bit meta-possibly it will transform but for now we’re testing to see if this is a good way to make a podcast very quickly specifically to share with our Transmedia community creating work during the COVID-19 crisis
In the third test of the app we discovered that anchor does not allow you to edit the music inside your episode, It has a really great selection of background music but the time it takes to download it’s a little annoying, also there’s an extra button you need to push if you’d like to have the anchor people publish your content to sites other than your personal social media sites. So far we’ve received a few comments from people in the social media world who have said the sound quality is good and this might be an app they like to use. Also I experimented with the ad and moved it to after the “episodes”
In the second episode of testing the anchor app I have shared a tweet from Bree Newsome and recorded via iPhone using a headset. We will be seeing if there are other spaces we can publish this to besides Twitter and Facebook. Also just learned I can accidentally add segments so recording 4 is now a part of this episode!
