Fasting helps us know the will of God. Fasting is an important part of following Jesus that we’re not always hungry for. When we add fasting to our praying, the Lord blesses it in many ways, sometimes even unexpected ways. In this episode, we share a couple personal testimonies of times when God used fasting and prayer to bring about mini-revivals in our own lives as we have been walking with Him.

16 “Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
17 But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face,
18 so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
Fasting is an effective way to truly humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord.
Ezra 8:21
21 Then I proclaimed a fast there at the river of Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek from Him the right way for us and our little ones and all our possessions.
Fasting increases our hunger for God and our faith in God… There’s a principle in scripture of how decrease can bring increase… We must decrease in order for Him to increase in our lives... Drawing away from food and drawing nearer to God allows Him to increase in us and feed our souls… When we give more of ourselves to God, He gives more of Himself to us… “Give and it shall be given” Are we hungry enough to fast and pray?

What is loneliness? Loneliness is an emotion brought on by feelings of separation... feelings of being all alone... For those who don’t have the Lord in their life they feel this way because it’s true, they are alone... and because of their being separated from God, they don’t even have to be alone to experience loneliness and feel lonely.... Those feelings are symptomatic of them being without God. There are many famous people with fans everywhere, who are lonely. We can think of several examples of those who died in utter loneliness with fans all around them. There is only One Friend who will never leave or forsake you. Listen and hear us share more on the topic of loneliness.

These are shields in God’s creation that are available to everyone, but the Greatest Shield is only provided to those who belong to Jesus....

On today's show we will talk a little about the will. God has a perfect will for each one of us, but then what about our choices? How do choices affect the will of God? Many times throughout the Bible, we see examples of people who are willing or unwilling to obey God and the consequences. Then we also see many examples of God being willing to move on behalf of someone. There are so many beautiful examples of us being willing and God also being willing or unwilling. It's really exciting to know how intimately He cares for the details of our lives and how He desires to be involved, to be sought out, and to move on our behalf in so many ways.

He was talking about the blood covered door that provided escape and shelter and protection from death... As death was all around them they found life!.... It’s the shelter of the Most High God!...

Knowing who you really are is directly connected to knowing whose you really are, and who you belong to. In this episode we interview with Sasha Carpenter, an adoptee from Russia, who found her birth family and not only is that a huge part of her story, she also found that she was the survivor of an abortion. Her story of identity in Christ, victory, and overcoming many challenges she faced, is a huge testimony of God's amazing and incredible grace upon our lives.
Who our spiritual Father is, not our biological father, defines who we are and the motives behind what we do.

Do you remember the old game show "Let's Make a Deal"? This old game show is a picture of how disappointing it can be when we place our hope in the things of this world and the enemy's empty promises. When God opens a door for us, it is not always easy and sometimes requires sacrifice on our end, but it is amazing and we are never ending up with a bad deal like the fake money offered behind the wrong door in the game show. We must take the first step to go through door #1, but then He continues opening doors for us all the way into eternity. Watch how He will rebuke the Red Sea in your life as you come to Him.

Do you ever feel as though you are in the Lord's waiting room? Oftentimes waiting upon God is not easy and requires testing of our faith, our love, and more. The Word of God has many warnings about giving heed to doctrines of demons and falling away from the Lord. We all need to take these warnings seriously and work out our salvation with fear and trembling before God.
1 Timothy 4:11
"Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons…"
1 Corinthians 10:12
"Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall."
Recently after Ravi Zacharias passed away, there was a flood of information about alleged adultery that he was in during his life. Sadly, even his ministry leadership are saying they were avoiding the warning signs and were dismissing the accusations that were being made until they couldn't deny it any longer. In this episode we share about the backslider and hope for that one who is falling into temptation to sin and fall away from the Lord. There is abundant mercy in the Lord and if that one humbles themselves, turns from their sin, and turns to the Lord, the Lord will forgive them and heal all of their backslidings. There’s no way I can know for sure what happened with Ravi, it’s too late now that he died, but if anyone’s still alive and backslidden, they need to turn back to the Lord before it’s too late…. If anyone listening is backslidden right now, the Lord wants to heal your backsliding.

Making decisions under pressure is difficult. Israel is in the midst of desperate times with recurring lockdowns, talks of forced vaccination, and people are resorting to desperate measures. Desperate decisions are being made as many people's jobs are eroding with the lockdowns affecting restaurants, businesses and more. The people are resorting to theft in order to feed their families.
Desperation can influence decisions whether good or bad. The consequences of making bad decisions are great and can be very widespread and long lasting. Think of Sarah's influence upon Abraham and how he chose to yield to her and the resulting consequences of the child with Hagar that resulted. In the same way, good decisions can have a positive impact as well. Think of Esther and her choice and how her fearless choice was used for the saving of the Jewish people.
How do we make good decisions under pressure? We can follow God's ways outlined in the scripture.

Have you ever experienced something in this world trying to pull your attention away from the Lord? It doesn’t even have to be something sinful. It could be something just plain needful, but still less important, fighting for your attention! We need a special type of X-Ray vision to see past the outer surface of the things going on in our world today and see into the eternal realm where the King of kings and Lord of lords is seated upon the throne. Elisha had this kind of vision. Moses had this kind of vision. What about you?
In these dark and evil days, we need eyes to see the Lord like never before. It is a challenge to keep our gaze on Our Lord and our glance on the things of this world. What has captured your vision? What has your attention? Be encouraged as we explore some challenging and encouraging scriptures full of insights and encouragement to SOAR above all the darkness of this world and focus on God's eternal Kingdom. His Kingdom is coming, and will last forever, not just four more years!

Who is like our God? This episode shares about how God works in the most impossible circumstances, to bring about His purposes and plans. January 6th, 2021 was a very dark day in American history, and as believers, we have a mandate. Many of us are looking for deliverance from 2020 and praying for a better year in 2021. With the enemy's plans on the prowl, the world's great reset being laid forth, and talks of a global currency by 2025... We are looking and earnestly hoping for a brighter day. When will we have what we are longing for? Do we have glimpses of hope only to end in disappointments because our hope was misplaced in the things of this world and not in eternity? Jesus/Yeshua also celebrated Hanukkah and it is spoken of in the book of John, so we too can commemorate this amazing miracle that happened where one day of oil stayed burning for 8 days. There are many miracles God has done through the years to preserve the line of the Messiah. Hanukkah is one of those miracles. It is called the Feast of Dedication because Hanukkah means Dedication in Hebrew. Be encouraged by some of the beautiful parallels we can attribute to our lives from the symbolism of Hanukkah.

"You shall also make a lampstand of pure gold; the lampstand shall be of hammered work.

There is a great lack of sobriety these days regarding the topic of Hell. Hell is a very real place of eternal torment, and sadly the media and much of our modern society has become desensitized to the horrors of it. If we truly believed that terrible awful place called Hell exists, would it radically change our thinking about how we are living today? Would it cause us to fear God more if we were living with a proper reality before us of hell?
