Sydney Mardi Gras was off the hook. Great to see so many visitors in town and so many awesome events. This is a re-record of the second half of my set at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras recovery party, Laneway. The main party featured brilliant sets by Sam Smith, Dua Lipa and Keisha.

Was a big thrill to play to a packed Beresford club the next day and to work with so many great artists at Laneway. Big thanks to SGLMG and of course to the dancers, prancers, movers and groovers who rocked the venue. Music is the answer!

Enjoy a little taste of how Sydney does 'recovery' with this hands in the air, good times mix that's chock full of house bangers we all know and love.

Definitely on the soulful jazzy end of the Jackin spectrum but still Jackin for my money. Big kicks, massive bass lines and gorgeous jazz instrumentals. Pianos, organs, trumpets, saxophones, smooth vocals and big kicks. With those crisp Jackin high hats cutting through to keep the groove chugging along. Thanks to DJs Doug James and DC for the inspiration.

This mix is a bit of a homage to Angelo Ferreri and Moon Rocket, who also work together as Disco Town. But hey, these guys are killing it!

Matt Sassari features heavily in this one, and it's awesome to have Jerome Sydenham back making techno - couple crackers from him. Very nice tracks from Boris, Dense & Pika, Len Faki, Slam, Spektre, Alan Fitzpatrick, Coyu and of course Flug, who can't seem to put a foot wrong at the moment. Brilliant to have Boris visit Sydney for Mardi Gras.

Check out Eats Everthing's ace treatment of rave classic U (I Got a Feeling) by Scot Project. Absolute banging classic from the 90s that takes me back to my early days as a DJ with my ol' mate Prince Albert.
